This paper considers two parking purposes: commute parking and non-commute parking, based on a SP survey, different factors which affect shared parking choice are present firstly. Then, two choice models towards shared parking based on two parking purposes are established. The results show that the difference of distance between the expected parking lot to the destination and the shared one has the deepest influence on shared parking choice for commuters. For non-commuters, the difference of parking price between the expected parking lot and the shared one has the deepest influence.

Titanium (Ti) coatings on alumina (Al2O3) balls fabricated by mechanical coating technique (MCT) were oxidized at relatively low temperatures. Crystal structure and microstructure of the coatings were investigated. Photocatalytic activity of the coatings was evaluated and discussed. The results showed that TiO2 films on Ti or Ti/TiO2 coatings were fabricated by the MCT and subsequent heat oxidation. The TiO2 is anatase phase if the heat oxidation temperature is under 773 K. The TiO2 is the mixed phases of anatase and rutile if the heat oxidation temperature is in the range of 673–973 K. Besides, rutile TiO2 is formed if the heat oxidation temperature is beyond 1073 K. Photocatalytic activity of anatase TiO2 is higher than rutile TiO2.

Photocatalytic TiO2–Copper oxides composite coatings were prepared by the mechanical coating technique (MCT) and subsequent heat oxidation. The results showed that Cu particles were mainly adhered to the surfaces of the Ti–Cu composite coatings. After heat oxidation,the Ti coatings were partly oxidized to rutile TiO2 and a Ti–TiO2–Cu2O–CuO composite microstructure was formed. These composite coatings had relative high photocatalytic activity because of the formation of the TiO2–Ti composite microstructure and TiO2–Cu2O–CuO p–n heterojunctions.

A time-delay discrete-time fuzzy singularly perturbed modeling and fuzzy state feedback control approach are presented for a class of complex flexible nonlinear systems with time-delay. The considered flexible nonlinear system is firstly described by a time-delay standard discrete-time fuzzy singular perturbation model. A fuzzy state feedback control law is secondly design. By using a matrix spectral norm and linear matrix inequalities approach, the sufficient conditions of the controller existence are divided. The provided controller not only can stabilize the resulting closed-loop system but also overcome the effects caused by both time-delay and external disturbances. A simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed result.

In order to develop the lightweight composite materials, we developed an integrated manufacturing method. The first trial production of the integrated honeycomb plate was fairly rough. This paper focuses on the trial manufacture of bionic honeycomb plates and discusses their mechanical properties. The conclusions were :1) An edge-sealing bionic integrated honeycomb plate has been provided; 2) some specific cases of improving the integrated manufacturing technology have been studied; and 3) the failure strength in the integrated honeycomb plate is significantly higher than that of the honeycomb plate with the adhesive layer.

This report reviews biomimetic studies performed in China on the beetle forewing, noting that Chinese scholars studying bionics have substantially advanced various branches of biomimetic research in beetles. The report also proposes the development of branches of bionic research and establishes the foundation for corresponding experiments and theories. Then, using theA. dichotomaforewing as a an example, the cross-sectional shape, orientation of the laminated fiber layers, structure of the trabeculae, and respective mechanical properties of the forewing, as well as their biological significance, are reviewed. 1) The forewing has a lightweight border frame structure and an optimal design of variable cross-sections suitable for different positions, which achieves the specific second moment of inertia required for flight. 2) Due to the non-equiangular, laminated structure of the forewing, there are two types of tensile fracture morphologies: fiber breakage and residual bridging. This study demonstrates the anisotropy and the effectiveness of the forewings tensile strength by analyzing the orientation direction of the fibers. 3) The trabecular structure can be used to efficiently improve the peel resistance of the laminated composites. Based on the above points, possible directions for future work are also indicated in this paper.

This paper describes the processes of integrated bionic honeycomb plates: A beetle forewing has integrated honeycomb structure, which consists of trabecula-honeycomb and a frame. It is expected to lead to a molding method enabling the creation of an integrated trabecula-honeycomb structure; we have developed an integrated honeycomb plate.

The relationship between properties of BF-WPC and the content of BF were studied, when wood-plastics composite (WPC) was reinforced by 12 mm and 3 mm short basalt fiber (SBF). The results showed that there may have some uneven distributions of SBF in WPC, when the content of 12 mm BF exceeded 30%. Restricted to the uneven distribution and the quantity of “end weak’’, it formed the close comprehensive property of BF-WPC by the length of 12mm and 3mm BF. The comprehensive property of BF-WPC has a maximum range of 15%-30% of the content of 12 mm BF. Compared to pure WPC, the tensile and bending strength of BF-WPC have improved. However, the reinforce effect of BF-WPC is different and is dependent on the index of each property. The BF-WPC plate can be developed with different properties and be a cost-effective material by choosing different length and content of BF.
