In this paper, cobalt oxide was deposited on the surface of Activated Carbon Fiber (ACF) by adsorption and was then sintered. The effects of cobalt oxide on the properties of ACF were studied by XPS, FTIR, and XRD methods. Mercury removal performance was also investigated. 5% cobalt was well dispersed on the surface of ACF, and a variety of oxygen-containing groups had been enhanced. The chemical functional groups on the surface of ACF were changed to strengthen the adsorption and catalytic oxidation of ACF to the element mercury (Hg0). The measurement results showed that ACF coated with cobalt oxide had higher adsorption properties.

The bending mechanical properties of bamboo plywood which was glued with phenol formaldehyde (PF) resine were detected and analysised. The study results showed that the differences of the bending strength (MOR)and the elastic modulus(MOE) of bamboo plywood prepared separately within 110-130°C were not large, and MOR and MOE exceeded all the targets ruled by JB/T 156-2004. It was proved that the property of this kind of middle temperature PF resine was very well for using in bamboo plywood. When the load was the same, the differences of the deflection、the stress of the bamboo plywood prepared on the different hot-pressing temperature were very small too, but some differences existed in the those strains，and the strains on the lower sursurface of the boards were larger than those on upper surface. When the load was smaller, The deflection、stress and strain of the boards linearly changed with the load increase, which proved that the bamboo plywood mainly produced elastic deformation under this circumstances.

The paper investigated the efficient model of solar wall and the operation modes of solar wall system on buildings application, The construction of efficient solar wall was devised and experiment studied the operation effect. In order to find out the relationship between solar radiation and outlet air temperature, the air temperature change per unit solar radiation intensity (▽) was introduced. Study given: the system function or use of shade structures and architecture integration measures, relative to the building directly by the sun exposure, the surface temperature of building with the efficient solar wall can be achieved a more substantial cooling; the same time the system can be improved through natural convection air-conditioned room air quality will not result in excessive waste of energy. Solar radiation is the decisive factor in the process of heating air. to meet the requirement of indoor heating, the reasonable range of ▽ is 5.63-6.35, the optimum system wind velocity would be 3 m/s-7m/s.

The main physical and mechanical properties of the ordinary and bamboo mat enhancing bamboo particle board (for short EBPB) were detected and analysed through the Resistance Strain Monitor and wood mechnical test machine. The results proved that the tensile and bend deformation of two kinds of bamboo partical board(for short BPB) increased nonlinearly with the load increasing. The greatest tensile and bend load increased respectively 66% and 56%, and in the tensile and bend deformations, decreased respectively 21% and 20% EBPB than the ordimary bamboo particle board(for short OBPB). The main physical and mechnical properties of the EBPB exceeded markedly OBPB, which showed the bamboo mat could increased evidently the physical and mechnical properties of BPB.

Strain of bamboo affects remakably bamboo products. This study, through measuring strain of bamboo with the resistance strain measuring instrument, studied the radial and tangential strains of different height and sections of moso bamboo. The study indicated that the tangential strain of bamboo appeared mainly parabolic curve form, and the strain increased gradually from outside to inside part of bamboo wall in process of heating. The radial strain of bamboo increased gentlely with the temperature rising before 100°C, then rapidly increased after 100°C. The radial strain of bamboo increased gradually from upside to bottom of bamboo pole with the temperature rising too. The tangential strain of bamboo increased gentlely from 150°C to100°C, then rapidly increased from 100°C to 30°C in process of cooling, but radial strains at different height of bamboo pole presented mainly linear change with the temperature falling in process of cooling.

The study focused on surface burn of titanium alloy (TC4) in the grinding process using a novel segmented cup wheel with internal cooling structure. The threshold burn temperature was found in grinding TC4. Plastically deformed coating layers and micro-cracks were observed on ground surface by SEM (Scanning Electronic Microscopy) and depth of microstructure alterations was more than 180 microns in high temperature. Finally, a novel wheel with internal cooling structure was developed for reducing grinding temperature and suppressing surface burn.

It is the numerical simulation of the thermal properties of a special polygonal collector plate with hole in air-heating. With the ray-tracing solar load model provided by Fluent, use radiation heat transfer equation to solve the solar radiation, and then consider loading radiation heat into the source terms of the energy equation. In the transition season, under the mode of operation of complete new wind, through the study of air flow and heat transfer in the collector box, the paper discusses and analyzes the temperature and velocity fields, thermal effects, as well as the wind speed and solar radiation and other related factors in different collector modules of the collector plate.

2-(2′-Hydroxyphenyl)-5-amino-2H-benzotriazole was synthesized and subjected to acylamidation to yield three new ultraviolet (UV) absorbers. The largest absorption wavelength and the relationship between the concentration and the maximum absorbance of the UV absorbers were measured in dimethylsulfoxide. Then the four benzotriazole type UV absorbers were dispersed and applied onto polyester fabrics with the high temperature and pressure dyeing method. The stabilizing effect against UV light of the finished fabrics was studied by ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) and UV transmittance measurement.

Analysis the action and function of phase change material (PCM) in building energy storage, and numerical simulation the heat storage and heat release process of heating floor filled PCM packed module by using the FLUENT software, discussion and analysis the relation of temperature distribution with energy storage and discharge time, the effects of PCM in transfer heat, stabilizing temperature changes rate and adjust floor surface temperature in energy storage floor heating are provided.

Based on forward position equations of 3-RCR parallel mechanism, the Jacobian matrixes were obtained. The global condition index was gotten based on the Jacobian matrix. According to the global condition index and the polar coordinates boundary searching method, using MATLAB software, the dexterity atlases of the mechanism were gotten. Finally, the dexterity was analyzed. The research can provide theory foundation for study and application of parallel mechanism in the future.

More and more engineers apply AE (Acoustic Emission) to research rock fracture and damage. Infrasonic wave could be used to forecast earthquake, and structure earthquake is almost caused by rock compression damage, so in the course of rock fracture and damage, the infrasound wave emission could be researched in order to forecast earthquake. The granite specimens are compressed to damage. The infrasonic information in the course of compression are detected and collected. By means of data analysis, some principles of rock compression damage are found.

This paper analyses the tire building hub mechanism, and the law in the course of working is studied. In accordance with principles of variable topology, the characteristics of the topology of the tire building hub is researched, and kinematics simulation analysis and verification are carried out. Based on the parallel mechanism, the new hubs are given, the types of the parallel mechanism are enumerated, which can achieve trajectory of the hub, and the folding way and controlling method of the tire building hub are ameliorated.
