The article reports results of Cardiff University professor Sally Power's study on school trips in Great Britain. Results indicate that rural students are provided with approximately five less school trips per key stage than urban students. The author reports the focus of schools trips at various key stages, and she notes that affordability is a significant barrier to offering trips. Study sponsor Real World Learning Campaign hopes to persuade school administrators of trip benefits.
