The article discusses the nonvolatile static random access memory (nvSRAM) in data logging applications. It explores the different examples of data loggers where its applications demand flash memory IC-based 100% solid state solution. It lays out the problems in memory subsystems where flash is the only non-volatile memory. It notes that the problems can be resolved by adding nvSRAM as a flash page assembly unit. It adds that nvSRAM also brings additional functionality to the system.
