A retrospective analysis has been done of the surgical treatment of thegastroschisis in the last ten years. There were 14 patients hospitalized in the givenperiod; 8 of them survived or 57%. Yet, the greatest number of circumcisions in the world are performed because of cultural and religious believes, which bring a series of complications, primarily stenosis of the meatus.
