The article discusses the school museum and its development. The author reflects on the functions and educational values of museum and its influence on the intelligence of students and suggested ways of developing them. The museum aids a student by enlarging his acquaintance with the nature of materials through sense and personal contact. These broaden his conceptions of relations, meanings uses, and developing possibilities of materials. His conceptions of human capabilities also widens through exhibition of materials that represented human skill and intelligence. The article also suggests ways of growing collections of school museums, such as through student collection, purchase, donations or by curator collection exchange.
