In the first part of this paper the occurrence of dolomite in B&H karst, as well as active and potential dolomite deposits for dimension stone with different trade names ("Rujan", "San", "Gradac") are presented, with the available results of their testing. The final section of the paper gives a brief historical overview of the applications of dolomite as dimension stone in Herzegovina, which is attested by many tombstones, but also some religious and residential buildings. However, with its beauty of textures and colors and quality in workmanship, in the last several decades it has been widely used in the interior and exterior cladding of numerous buildings in Herzegovina, as well as in several regional architectural projects along the Adriatic coast, in the Republic of Croatia and Republic of Montenegro. Many roundabout capacity models are present in the world and they are classified into three key groups: empirical models, theoretical models, and microscopic simulation models. In Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, there is no roundabout capacity model prescribed by a rulebook. Theoretical capacity models are derived from gap acceptance theory. Due to some deficiencies of gap acceptance theory, Brilon and Wu introduce a new concept for analyzing the capacity of unsignalized intersections, and thereby of roundabouts too, based on conflict theory and queuing theory. This paper analyzes three roundabout capacity models most commonly used in the world (HCM, Akcelik, Brilon-Wu), with different theoretical backgrounds, in order to compare them with directly measured capacity in the field in local conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus to see the differences in application results. The paper will present the most significant deposits of dimension stone in the Republic of Croatia and shortly point out the specifics that determine methods of their opening and development, or exploitation. The Mosinger Villa in Zagreb (1930 - 1931, Pantovčak 112) was Vladimir Šterk’s first villa built with undecorated facades. This confirms Šterk’s commitment to modernism. Until the Second World War the villa was owned by Jewish families Mosinger and Mayer. After the founding of the Independent State of Croatia the villa was requisitioned and after the communist rule had been established it was divided into three apartments. A garage was added to the villa in 1966, and a second floor in 1982. The renovation and reconstruction project of the derelict villa, commissioned by its new owner, was commenced in 2019. The geotechnical and structural engineering surveys determined that the villa needed to be demolished. The conservation and restoration survey determined the original, first and oldest layer from 1930 - 1931 as the basis for reconstruction and presentation. The method of partial facsimile restoration was chosen, while the second floor will be designed in a contemporary manner. The external dimensions were retained in the existing condition in accordance with the set preservation measures for the Historical Ensemble of the City of Zagreb which the villa is part of. Corridor Vc enhances the connection of Bosnia and Herzegovina with neighboring countries and improves the potential for economic development. The Corridor Vc motorway in Bosnia and Herzegovina stretches from the northern border with the Republic of Croatia from Svilaj to Čapljina on the southern border with the Republic of Croatia, in Bijača. The Zenica tunnel is part of the Corridor Vc motorway in the municipality of Zenica and is currently the longest excavated tunnel with a total length of 3,330 meters. Excavation works were performed by a combination of blasting and machine excavation. The excavation of the tunnel was performed in sedimentary formations (flysch-like Upper Vranduk series 2 JK).
