Abstract Aim Rates vary widely across hospitals globally and typically range from 3 to 11 falls per 1000 bed days and as 7–11 in Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University. This study determined to explore contributing factors and poor prognosis of fall in elderly tumour patients in China. Design A cross‐sectional study. Methods 161 older adults were invited to participate in this study and completed a self‐reported questionnaire, took blood tests, and received the exam of musculoskeletal ultrasound. Results Among 161 patients, falls occurred in 41 cases, accounting for 24.8%. 51.6% of older adults suffered from intermediate‐to‐high risk of falls. Fall history, reduced self‐care ability, sleep disturbance, hearing impairment, hyperkyphosis, chronic disease, platelet count, and the thickness of left muscle rectus femoris (LF‐MLT), and left cross‐sectional area (LF‐CSA) were all contributing factors of fall, and higher risk of fall indicating lower quality of life. A fall prediction model was established in this study based on above contributing factors with good prediction efficiency (AUC = 0.920). Background Resolvin D2 (RvD2) has been reported to protect against the development of atherosclerosis in animal models. The objective of this study was to examine the prospective association between plasma RvD2 and the risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) at the population level. Methods and Results A cohort of 2633 community‐dwelling individuals aged 35–60 years was followed for 8 years in this study. Adjusted hazard ratios and 95% CIs for ASCVD outcomes according to baseline RvD2 levels were calculated using Cox proportional hazards models. Mediation analysis was used to test the indirect effect of serum cholesterol indicators on the association between RvD2 and ASCVD probability. In total, 284 new cases of ASCVD were identified during follow‐up. An inverted U‐shaped association between natural log (ln)‐transformed RvD2 and incident ASCVD was determined, and the threshold value for lnRvD2 was 3.87. Below the threshold, each unit increase in lnRvD2 was associated with a 2.05‐fold increased risk of ASCVD (95% CI, 1.13–3.74; P=0.019). Abstract With the high penetration of distributed generation and gradual increase in loop network structures, existing over‐current protection in distribution networks is difficult to apply. The use of current differential protection has become an ideal solution, and high performance and commercialization of 5G communication provides an effective way to solve the problem of differential protection channel transmission. Aiming at distribution network differential protection based on 5G, this paper adopted an adaptive frequency conversion transmission mechanism to significantly reduce the data flow of differential protection. In terms of protection strategy, the differential allowable signal and the differential protection startup logic are separated, and a novel action method and protection logic suitable for weak infeed distribution networks are proposed. The strategy significantly shortens the protection action time under wireless communication. Furthermore, a comprehensive synchronization scheme using zero‐crossing synchronization of forward sampling points and cycle numbers based on the second pulse signal was established. This scheme can effectively improve the reliability of data synchronization for differential protection. Finally, the method proposed in this study was verified using the dynamic model experiment of real‐time digital simulation (RTDS).

Abstract Centenarians, who show mild infections and low incidence of tumors, are the optimal model to investigate healthy aging. However, longevity related immune characteristics has not been fully revealed largely due to lack of appropriate controls. In this study, single‐cell transcriptomic analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) derived from seven centenarians (CEN), six centenarians’ offspring (CO), and nine offspring spouses or neighbors (Control, age‐matched to CO) are performed to investigate the shared immune features between CEN and CO. The results indicate that among all 12 T cell clusters, the cytotoxic‐phenotype‐clusters (CPC) and the naïve‐phenotype‐clusters (NPC) significantly change between CEN and ontrol. Compared to Control, both CEN and CO are characterized by depleted NPC and increased CPC, which is dominated by CD8+ T cells. Furthermore, CPC from CEN and CO share enhanced signaling pathways and transcriptional factors associated with immune response, and possesse similar T‐cell‐receptor features, such as high clonal expansion. Interestingly, rather than a significant increase in GZMK+ CD8 cells during aging, centenarians show accumulation of GZMB+ and CMC1+ CD8 T cells. Collectively, this study unveils an immune remodeling pattern reflected by both quantitative increase and functional reinforcement of cytotoxic T cells which are essential for healthy aging.

With the development of the Internet of Things, smart devices are widely used. Hardware security is one key issue in the security of the Internet of Things. As the core component of the hardware, the integrated circuit must be taken seriously with its security. The pre-silicon detection methods do not require gold chips, are not affected by process noise, and are suitable for the safe detection of a very large-scale integration. Therefore, more and more researchers are paying attention to the pre-silicon detection method. In this study, we propose a machine-learning-based hardware-Trojan detection method at the gate level. First, we put forward new Trojan-net features. After that, we use the scoring mechanism of the eXtreme Gradient Boosting to set up a new effective feature set of 49 out of 56 features. Finally, the hardware-Trojan classifier was trained and detected based on the new feature set by the eXtreme Gradient Boosting algorithm, respectively. The experimental results show that the proposed method can obtain 89.84% average Recall , 86.75% average F-measure , and 99.83% average Accuracy , which is the best detection result among existing machine-learning-based hardware-Trojan detection methods.

Owing to the particular distribution of energy and load, the high-voltage direct current transmission system has been greatly developed in China. A number of areas have formed the multi-infeed direct current (MIDC) transmission systems. In MIDC transmission systems, the electrical distance between the inverter stations is close and the coupling effect is strong, therefore, the interaction influence of harmonics is complex. In order to analyse this complex interaction influence, this study first introduces the influence factors multi-infeed influence factors of power (MIIF-Pd) and multi-infeed total harmonic voltage distortion (MITHDu), which are used to describe the interaction influence degree of harmonics between inverter stations. Then based on the Shanghai power grid, a simulation model of the MIDC transmission systems was built in PSCAD/EMTDC, and the interaction influence degree of harmonics in MIDC transmission systems was studied in the case of large disturbance and small disturbance exists in the inverter stations. The results show that the interaction influence of harmonics between inverter stations is related to the electrical distance, the style of disturbance, transmission power and so on. Meanwhile, the disturbance on a commutation bus mainly leads to the increase of the harmonic distortion rate in this inverter station, and has less influence on the other stations.

The aggregation behavior of three tadpole-shaped Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) based block copolymers using different blocks poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and poly(trifluoroethyl methacrylate) (PTFEMA) with different block sequence and ratio (POSS-PTFEMA161-b-PMMA236, POSS-PMMA277-b-PTFEMA130, and POSS-PMMA466-b-PTFEMA172) was investigated on the air-water interface. The interfacial rheology of three block copolymers was studied by surface pressure isotherm, compression modulus measurements, and compression and expansion hysteresis analysis on the Langmuir trough. The block sequence and ratio play a great role in self-assembly behavior at the interface. Based on surface pressure isotherm analysis, a thin film with low elasticity was achieved for the POSS-PTFEMA161-b-PMMA236. Moreover, for the block copolymer with same segment sequence (POSS-PMMA2-b-PTFEMA), the thin film compression capability is increased with increasing the PMMA ratio. The morphology of the deposited LB thin film was illustrated by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). We observed that a thin film was composed by crater-shaped quasi-2D micelles for POSS-PTFEMA-b-PMMA, while it was proved that only flaky texture was observed for both POSS-PMMA277-b-PTFEMA130 and POSS-PMMA466-b-PTFEMA172. The thickness and area of flaky aggregates were greatly related to PMMA ratio. The different interface self-assembly structure evolution was proposed based on the interfacial rheology and thin film morphology studies.

We propose a fast data relay (FDR) mechanism to enhance existing CGRA (coarse-grained reconfigurable architecture). FDR can not only provide multicycle data transmission in concurrent with computations but also convert resource-demanding inter-processing-element global data accesses into local data accesses to avoid communication congestion. We also propose the supporting compiler techniques that can efficiently utilize the FDR feature to achieve higher performance for a variety of applications. Our results on FDR-based CGRA are compared with two other works in this field: ADRES and RCP. Experimental results for various multimedia applications show that FDR combined with the new compiler deliver up to 29% and 21% higher performance than ADRES and RCP, respectively.
