Beamforming technique can effectively improve the spectrum utilization in the multi‐antenna systems, while the dirty‐paper coding (DPC) technique can reduce the inter‐user interference. In this letter, it is aimed to maximize the weighted sum‐rate under the total power constraint in the multiple‐input‐single‐output (MISO) system with the DPC technique. However, the existing methods of beamforming optimization mainly rely on customized iterative algorithms, which have high computational complexity. To address this issue, the beamforming neural network (BFNNet) is devised by utilizing the deep learning technique and the uplink‐downlink duality and exploring the optimal solution structure, which includes the deep neural network module and the signal processing module. The accuracy of short‐term photovoltaic (PV) power prediction is crucial for maintaining power system stability and grid scheduling. Here, a short‐term PV power prediction framework is proposed considering combined weather similarity day screening, signal decomposition noise reduction and hybrid deep learning to realize PV power prediction. First, a combined meteorological similar day screening model is constructed to screen out historical days similar to the day, which reduces the number of training sets; Second, Synchrosqueezing Wavelet Transform is utilized to eliminate data noise. Third, a Convolution Neural Network‐Gate Recurrent Unit (CNN‐GRU) network is constructed to extract periodic and nonlinear features in the PV power generation data series and to capture the relationship features between PV power generation and meteorological factors to improve the prediction accuracy. Fourth, the Sparrow Search Algorithm is introduced to perform hyper‐parameter optimization of the CNN‐GRU network to accelerate the model convergence and improve the model training efficiency. Finally, this paper conducts simulation experiments and the experimental results show that the prediction method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the prediction accuracy of short‐term PV power compared to the baseline model, and the method proposed in this paper is superior to other conventional methods. Currently, deep learning methods for low‐light image enhancement tasks mainly focus on the illumination of images, while neglecting the problems of image noise and feature loss. To address this issue, this paper proposes a novel low‐light image enhancement network called DAF‐Retinex, based on the Retinex‐Net. To address the issue of image noise, different from traditional image denoise methods, this paper utilizes a fully convolutional neural network to denoise the reflection component, additionally, a denoising loss function is introduced to suppress noise. For preserving image details and extracting features, this paper creatively introduces self‐calibrated convolutions into low‐light image enhancement tasks, furthermore, a feature augmented attention block consisting of feature‐guided attention (FGA) is designed for feature learning to effectively enhance image illumination and extract image detail features. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm in this paper effectively removes image noise and extracts detailed features, resulting in visually improved outcomes. On public datasets, the average improvement in objective evaluation metrics of image quality such as PSNR, SSIM, and NIQE are 1.13%, 4.12%, and 1.28%, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Recently, deep learning (DL) based dynamic security assessment (DSA) methods have been very successful. However, although a DSA model can be trained well for a specific topology, it often does not perform well for other topologies. Since the topology in real‐world power systems is frequently changing, the performance reduction of DL‐based DSA methods is very serious, which is a challenging and urgent problem. This paper proposes a novel DSA method based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) to solve this problem. In the proposed method, a strong yet simple domain adaptation approach named adaptive batch normalization (AdaBN) is used, which significantly enhances the extensibility and generalizability of the DSA model when the topology changes and eliminates the need to train a large number of models. This approach achieves a deep adaptation effect by modulating the statistics from the source domain to the target domain in all batch normalization layers across the model. Unlike other domain adaptation methods, this method is parameter‐free, requires no additional components, and has advanced performance despite its simplicity. In addition, this paper introduces TGAN‐based data augmentation to deal with the difficulty of costly data collection and labelling. This data augmentation makes the proposed model applicable to small databases. The test results of the proposed method on IEEE 39‐bus and IEEE 118‐bus systems show that this method can evaluate system dynamic security during topology changes and in the face of data noise with high accuracy. Bibliometric analysis was performed to study the development of publications related to Industry 4.0 and its key technologies in Vietnam. Comparisons with data from other ASEAN countries, and with global data have been done to identify distinctive characteristics of Industry 4.0 literature from Vietnam. The collection of 1,470 retrieved papers was analysed to answer seven research questions. Our results highlighted some valuable insights of Industry 4.0 literature in Vietnam. The number of papers in Industry 4.0 in Vietnam increased rapidly in recent years, mostly focused on Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics. Iran, China, and South Korea were the most productive partner countries with Vietnam in Industry 4.0. Machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data, deep learning, Internet of things, neural networks, and data mining were among the most popular research themes in Industry 4.0 in Vietnam. Vietnam ranked third among 10 Southeast Asian countries, based on the number of published papers in Industry 4.0, but the gap with the two top countries was large. Compared to the global data, the annual growth rate of Industry 4.0 papers in Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian countries was lower. License plate detection is an important task in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and has a wide range of applications in vehicle management, traffic control, and public safety. In order to improve the accuracy and speed of mobile recognition, an improved lightweight YOLOv5s model is proposed for license plate detection. First, an improved Stemblock network is used to replace the original Focus layer in the network, which ensures strong feature expression capability and reduces a large number of parameters to lower the computational complexity; then, an improved lightweight network, ShuffleNetv2, is used to replace the backbone network of the YOLOv5s, which makes the model lighter and ensures the detection accuracy at the same time. Then, a feature enhancement module is designed to reduce the information loss caused by the rearrangement of the backbone network channels, which facilitates the information interaction in the feature fusion process; finally, the low‐, medium‐ and high‐level features in the Shufflenetv2 network structure are fused to form the final high‐level output features. Experimental results on the CCPD dataset show that compared to other methods this paper obtains better performance and faster speed in the license plate detection task, in which the average precision mean value reaches 96.6%, and can achieve a detection speed of 43.86 frame/s, and the parameter volume is reduced to 5.07 M. Gamma spectrum denoising can reduce the adverse effects of statistical fluctuations of radioactivity, gamma ray scattering, and electronic noise on the measured gamma spectrum. Traditional denoising methods are intricate and require analytical expertise in gamma spectrum analysis. This paper proposes a segmentation‐enhanced Convolutional Neural Network‐Stacked Denoising Autoencoder (CNN‐SDAE) method based on convolutional feature extraction network and stacked denoising autoencoder to achieve gamma spectrum denoising, which adopts the idea of data segmentation to enhance the learning ability of the neural network. By dividing the complete gamma spectrum into multiple segments and then using the segmentation‐enhanced CNN‐SDAE method for denoising, the method can achieve adaptive denoising without manually setting the threshold. The experimental results show that our method can effectively achieve gamma spectrum denoising while retaining the characteristics of the gamma spectrum. Compared with traditional methods, the denoising speed and effectiveness have been significantly improved, and the proposed method demonstrates an approximately 1.72‐fold enhancement in smoothing performance than the empirical mode decomposition method. Furthermore, in terms of retaining gamma spectrum characteristics, it also achieves a performance improvement of approximately three orders of magnitude than the wavelet method. In this paper, the authors apply the feature pyramid network (FPN) to the single‐stage anchor‐free object detection algorithm CenterNet, and the effectiveness of the multi‐level feature fusion of FPN for the object detection algorithm is proved by experiments. However, multi‐level feature fusion leads to an increase in computational cost. In this regard, this paper proposes an object detection algorithm, called DDE‐Net, that does not use multi‐level feature fusion and only uses single‐level feature for optimization. The key component in it: the dense dilated encoder, which encourages dense information exchange of features between different spatial scales. This paper presents extensive experiments, and DDE‐Net shows strong performance compared to that of other popular models on the PASCAL VOC and on the COCO2017 dataset. On the COCO2017 dataset, the authors' DDE‐Net achieves comparable results with its feature pyramids counterpart RetinaNet, while applying the same backbone with smaller params and GFLOPs than RetinaNet. Pixel‐level labeling of regions of interest in an image is a key step in building a labeled training dataset for supervised deep learning networks of images. However, traditional manual labeling of cancerous regions in digital pathological images by doctors is time‐consuming and inefficient. To address this issue, this paper proposes an automatic labeling method for whole slide images, which combines clustering and edge detection techniques. The proposed method utilizes the multi‐level feature fusion model and the Long‐Short Term Memory network to discriminate the cancerous nature of the whole slide images, thereby improving the classification accuracy of the whole slide images. Subsequently, the automatic labeling of cancerous regions is achieved by integrating a density‐based clustering algorithm and an edge point extraction algorithm, both based on the discriminated results of the cancerous properties of whole slide images. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, which offers an efficient and accurate solution to the challenging task of cancerous region labeling in digital pathological images. Optic disc (OD) and optic cup (OC) segmentation is an important task in ophthalmic medicine and is crucial for aiding glaucoma screening. With the development of smart healthcare and the increase of large datasets, there is an increasing number of research efforts targeting OD and OC segmentation, making it particularly important to provide a systematic review of the latest advances in the field. This paper presents a systematic review of commonly used datasets, evaluation metrics, and related research results in the field of OD and OC segmentation. The advantages and disadvantages of segmentation techniques based on traditional and deep learning methods are comparatively analysed. In addition, this study emphasizes the importance of OD and OC segmentation efforts in smart healthcare. Despite the technological advances, the lack of generalization capability is still a major obstacle limiting its clinical application. To address this issue, this study explores unsupervised domain adaptation methods to enhance the generalization performance of segmentation techniques and provide new strategies for clinical diagnosis. Finally, this paper discusses the challenges and future research directions faced by OD and OC segmentation when applied in the medical field to help readers comprehensively grasp the research dynamics in this area. Real‐time monitoring of the coal caving process in fully mechanized mining is crucial for achieving intelligent and efficient top‐coal caving. While the coal gangue identification method, employing vision and deep learning, has advanced in the realm of intelligent monitoring, it exhibits a dependency on high‐performance hardware. This reliance poses challenges for deploying identification equipment on mobile terminals, hindering the widespread application of this method. To address the issues above, the paper presents a lightweight algorithm, utilizing You Only Look Once version 5s (YOLOv5s), utilizing YOLOv5s for the real‐time perception of the top‐coal caving state in fully mechanized caving mining. We replace the backbone network of YOLOv5s with the ShuffleNetv2 structure that is more suitable for lightweight deployment, and add the Simple Attention Mechanism attention mechanism to the network structure to enhance the model's receptive field and feature expression ability, and reduce the impact of falling debris on the detection results. A dynamic experimental platform for top‐coal caving in fully mechanized caving mining for thick coal seams is set up, and preprocessing operations such as brightness, sharpening, and denoising are performed on the image data sets collected by high‐speed industrial cameras. Research results show that compared with the traditional YOLOv5s, the improved model's P, mAP, F1 score, and other indicators have increased by 3.4%, 2.1%, and 1.1%, respectively, the model size is 70% of the original, and the detection frames per second value has increased by 48.1%. The lightweight algorithm stabilizes the accuracy of coal gangue identification dramatically in real time. Due to the inadequate utilization of data correlation and complementarity in the feature extraction process of multimodal remote sensing images, the paper proposes a deep learning semantic segmentation algorithm based on the Dual Channel Attention Mechanism (DCAM). This algorithm uses U‐Net as the backbone, combining the RGB remote sensing image as one input channel with the Convolutional Block Attention Module to extract colour space features. Simultaneously, it utilizes near‐infrared (NIR) as another input channel with the Self‐Attention Module (SAM) to extract shape space features. Finally, by concatenating the multi‐scale attention features of the RGB remote sensing image channel and the NIR remote sensing image channel, it achieves the correlation and complementarity of contextual features between the two modal remote sensing images. Experimental results on the GID‐15 dataset demonstrate that the DCAM algorithm significantly improves the segmentation accuracy, edge segmentation quality, and object segmentation integrity for various types of targets compared to current mainstream segmentation methods. The significant risk associated with fault reactivation often necessitates slip tendency analyses for effective risk assessment. However, such analyses are challenging, particularly in large areas with limited or absent reliable stress measurements and where the cost of extensive geomechanical analyses or simulations is prohibitive. In this paper, we propose a novel approach using a physics‐informed neural network that integrates stress orientation and satellite displacement observations in a top‐down multi‐scale framework to estimate two‐dimensional slip tendency analyses even in regions lacking comprehensive stress data. Our study demonstrates that velocities derived from a continental scale analysis, combined with reliable stress orientation averages, can effectively guide models at smaller scales to generate qualitative slip tendency maps. By offering customizable data selection and stress resolution options, this method presents a robust solution to address data scarcity issues, as exemplified through a case study of the South Australian Eyre Peninsula. With the impact of the COVID‐19 epidemic, the demand for masked face recognition technology has increased. In the process of masked face recognition, some problems such as less feature information and poor robustness to the environment are obvious. The current masked face recognition model is not quantified enough for feature extraction, there are large errors for faces with high similarity, and the categories cannot be clustered during the detection process, resulting in poor classification of masks, which cannot be well adapted to changes in multiple environments. To solve current problems, this paper designs a new masked face recognition model, taking improved Single Shot Multibox Detector (SSD) model as a face detector, and replaces the input layer VGG16 of SSD with Deep Residual Network (ResNet) to increase the receptive field. In order to better adapt to the network, we adjust the convolution kernel size of ResNet. In addition, we fine‐tune the Xception network by designing a new fully connected layer, and reduce the training cycle. The weights of the three input samples including anchor, positive and negative are shared and clustered together with triplet network to improve recognition accuracy. Meanwhile, this paper adjusts alpha parameter in triplet loss. A higher value of alpha can improve the accuracy of model recognition. We further adopt a small trick to classify and predict face feature vectors using multi‐layer perceptron (MLP), and a total of 60 neural nodes are set in the three neural layers of MLP to get higher classification accuracy. Moreover, three datasets of MFDD, RMFRD and SMFRD are fused to obtain high‐quality images in different scenes, and we also add data augmentation and face alignment methods for processing, effectively reducing the interference of the external environment in the process of model recognition. According to the experimental results, the accuracy of masked face recognition reaches 98.3%, it achieves better results compared with other mainstream models. In addition, the hyper‐parameters tuning experiment is carried out to improve the utilization of computing resources, which shows better results than the indicators of different networks. The combination of computer algorithms to diagnose clinical images has attracted more and more attention. This research aims to improve the efficiency of gastric cancer (GC) diagnosis, so deep learning (DL) algorithms are tentatively used to assist doctors in the diagnosis of gastric cancer. In the experiment, the collected 3591 gastroscopic images were divided into network training set and experimental verification test set. The lesion samples in the image are all marked by many endoscopists with many years of clinical experience. In order to improve the experimental effect, 5261 endoscopic images were obtained by expanding the training set. Then the obtained training set is input into the convolutional neural network (CNN) for training, and finally get the algorithm model DLU‐Net. By inputting 598 test set samples into the CNN constructed in this paper, five results such as advanced GC, early GC, precancerous lesions, normal and benign lesions can be identified and output, with a total accuracy of 94.1%. It can be concluded that the DL algorithm model constructed in this paper can effectively identify the staging characteristics of cancer as well as gastroscopic images, greatly improve efficiency, and effectively assist physicians in the diagnosis of GC under gastroscopy. Great progress has been made in deep learning image reconstruction, but there are still problems that need to be improved, such as the extraction of image texture details and the improvement of the overall contour quality of the image, and how to reduce the transmission cost is also the focus of research. This paper proposes a fast bilateral network suitable for both grayscale and color image reconstruction. In the compression network, bilinear interpolation, fully connected layer and convolutional neural network are selected for image compression. The reconstruction network is divided into two parts: the texture path and contour path, the former reconstructs the remaining texture details of the image, and the latter performs deep contour reconstruction. The bilateral complementary residual connection method transfers the texture information to the contour path and improves the contour quality, and the improvement of the contour quality can improve the learning of texture details. Through a large number of data tests, it shows that the network in this paper has achieved comparable or better results in terms of image reconstruction quality, time‐consuming and robustness against noise. Cloud removal algorithm is a crucial step of remote sensing image preprocessing. The current mainstream remote sensing image cloud removal algorithms are implemented based on deep learning, and most of them are supervised. A large number of data pairs are required for training to achieve cloud removal. However, real with/without cloud image pairs datasets are difficult to obtain in the real world, and the models obtained by training on synthetic datasets often need to generalize better to natural scenes. And the existing unsupervised thin cloud removal methods based on Cycle‐GAN framework with considerable model complexity and unstable training are not an excellent solution to the problem of lack of paired datasets. Based on this, in this paper, the authors propose an unsupervised remote sensing image thin cloud removal method based on contrastive learning—GAN‐UD. It is a network consisting of a frequency‐spatial attention generator and a discriminator. In addition, the authors introduce local contrastive loss and global content loss to constrain the content of the generated images to ensure that the generated cloud‐free images are consistent with the input cloud images in terms of image content. Experimental results show that the proposed method in this paper can still effectively remove thin clouds from remote sensing images without paired training datasets, outperforms current unsupervised cloud removal methods, and achieves comparable performance to supervised methods. In unmanned aerial vehicle ad‐hoc network (UANET), the node speed of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) may reach up to 400 km/h. The fast or slow movement of UAV nodes leads to different speeds of topology change of the nodes. Traditional optimized link state routing (OLSR) protocol cannot adaptively adjust the routing update period when the network topology changes, which may lead to the nodes calculating incorrect routing tables. This increases the average end‐to‐end delay and packet loss rate for packet transmission. To enhance the adaptability of OLSR routing protocol to network topology changes, this paper proposes a multi‐agent independent deep deterministic policy gradient‐OLSR (MA‐IDDPG‐OLSR) routing protocol based on distributed multi‐agent reinforcement learning. The protocol deploys DDPG algorithm on each UAV node, and each UAV node adaptively adjusts the Hello and TC message sending intervals, according to the one‐hop neighbouring nodes as well as its own state. Extracting balanced geostrophic motions (BM) from sea surface height (SSH) observations obtained by wide‐swath altimetry holds great significance in enhancing our understanding of oceanic dynamic processes at submesoscale wavelength. However, SSH observations derived from wide‐swath altimetry are characterized by high spatial resolution while relatively low temporal resolution, thereby posing challenges to extract the BM from a single SSH snapshot. To address this issue, this paper proposes a deep learning model called the BM‐UBM Network, which takes an instantaneous SSH snapshot as input and outputs the projection corresponding to the BM. Training experiments are conducted both in the Gulf Stream and South China Sea, and three metrics are considered to diagnose model's outputs. The favorable results highlight the potential capability of the BM‐UBM Network to process SSH measurements obtained by wide‐swath altimetry. Eye health has become a global health concern and attracted broad attention. Over the years, researchers have proposed many state‐of‐the‐art convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to assist ophthalmologists in diagnosing ocular diseases efficiently and precisely. However, most existing methods were dedicated to constructing sophisticated CNNs, inevitably ignoring the trade‐off between performance and model complexity. To alleviate this paradox, this paper proposes a lightweight yet efficient network architecture, mixed‐decomposed convolutional network (MDNet), to recognise ocular diseases. In MDNet, we introduce a novel mixed‐decomposed depthwise convolution method, which takes advantage of depthwise convolution and depthwise dilated convolution operations to capture low‐resolution and high‐resolution patterns by using fewer computations and fewer parameters. We conduct extensive experiments on the clinical anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS‐OCT), LAG, University of California San Diego, and CIFAR‐100 datasets. The results show our MDNet achieves a better trade‐off between the performance and model complexity than efficient CNNs including MobileNets and MixNets. Accurate power load prediction is an important guide for power system planning and operation. High‐ or low‐load prediction results will affect the operation of the power system. In recent years, deep learning technology represented by convolution neural network (CNN) and transformer has been proved to be suitable for power load prediction. This paper proposes a new short‐term power load hybrid forecasting model, called channel enhanced attention (CEA) and temporal convolutional network (TCN)‐based transformer comprehensive forecasting model. This method combines the short‐term feature extraction ability of TCN with the long‐term dependent capture ability of transformer for short‐term load forecasting. And the CEA designed in this study is added to improve the prediction accuracy. On the same dataset, the designed model predicts power load mean square errors of 0.056 and 0.146 for the next 24 h and the next week, respectively, which is 0.002 to 0.073 and 0.012 to 0.024 lower than the baseline model. The experimental results show that the hybrid short‐term power load prediction model proposed in this paper is significantly better than the existing methods. The problems of insufficient recognition accuracy, poor real‐time performance and lack of consideration of actual working conditions in the process of intelligent construction of coal mines make this technology still in the research stage and not applied in practical engineering. The purpose of this paper is to establish an accurate and real‐time recognition model, which can quickly distinguish the vibration acceleration signals of coal and gangue under the influence of external factors such as impact position, velocity, and direction by using the different physical properties of coal and gangue particles. Therefore, the accuracy and real‐time of coal gangue recognition model established by different convolutional neural networks (CNN) structures and different position signal input are studied. First, to meet the real‐time requirements, an original CNN recognition model composed of single convolution layer and single pooling layer is established, and the data collected by seven sensors are input in the form of two‐dimensional matrix. However, the stability of the training and test results is insufficient. To solve this problem, once improved CNN (OI‐CNN) recognition model with multiconvolution layers and multipooling layers is built by deepening the network. The experimental results show that the stability and accuracy are improved, but the real‐time performance is poor. Furthermore, through parameter adjustment, the OI‐CNN is changed to the twice improved CNN (TI‐CNN), and the sensor data at different positions are input in the form of one‐dimensional vectors. The results show that the accuracy and real‐time performance of the TI‐CNN coal gangue recognition model are further improved. Finally, according to the research purpose of this paper, the weights of CNN indexes are given, and a multi‐index comprehensive evaluation system (MICES) is established. With the original CNN recognition model as the control, the OI‐CNN recognition model and the TI‐CNN recognition model at different positions are quantitatively compared to obtain the comprehensive evaluation scores of each model. The results show that the MICES of the coal gangue recognition model established based on the TI‐CNN structure and the data input of a single position sensor is the highest, while the sensor position has little effect on the recognition results. Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) significantly improves the navigation efficiency of ports. This paper proposes a model called Joint Extraction of Triples from the VHF Speech (JER‐VHF) to ensure the efficiency of the VTS. Numerous texts are extracted from the Very High Frequency (VHF) speech communication contents and these texts are organized into a dataset named VHFDT. The proposed model's transforming task transforms the voice communication contents of this dataset into a triple representation. VHFDT has a large number of overlapping triples. Therefore, this paper proposes a combined model with three categories to model the entity relations in VHF sentences, including pre‐training Chinese language model for initializing embedding from VHFDT, BiLSTM for rich features, and Multi‐head Attention for focusing on triples. In experimental part, this study uses Precision(P), Recall(R), and F1 to evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method and baseline models. According to experimental results, the proposed model efficiently extracts the key information from complex language environment and achieves better work on relational triple extraction than other baseline models. In recent years, deep learning‐based fault diagnosis technology for high‐voltage circuit breakers (HVCB) has advanced significantly, but the working environment of HVCBs is complex, resulting in unsatisfactory fault diagnosis results of HVCBs in noisy environment and existing deep learning methods are difficult to solve this problem. This paper proposes a multi‐channel convolutional neural network combines dense residual structure and attention mechanism to achieve high‐precision and high‐robust diagnosis of HVCBs in noisy backgrounds. A dense residual network is introduced into the convolutional neural network to prevent feature loss during network propagation to preserve the difference information between the network layers as much as possible, Simultaneously, a channel attention mechanism is introduced to adaptively adjust the weights of different convolution channels. The model can extract multi‐scale features from the original signal and fully exploit the intrinsic relationship between the vibration signal and the HVCB's operating state. The experimental results show that the diagnostic method can still meet the requirements of fault diagnosis in the presence of noise, with an average diagnostic accuracy rate of 85.92% when the signal‐to‐noise ratio is −4. This paper presents a multi‐input deep learning‐based joint pilot decontamination and symbol detection (SD) technique for 5G massive multiple‐input multiple‐output (MAMIMO) systems. It consists of a fully convolutional neural network (FCNN) that finds the 5G channel coefficients using pre‐known sounding reference signals (SRSs) under pilot contamination and a symbol detector derived from projected gradient descent iterations. The study considers pilot contamination caused by inter‐cell interferences between SRSs during channel estimation (CE). The proposed scheme accepts entire 5G orthogonal frequency modulated (OFDM) data and least square estimates and produces the transmitted OFDM signal. Simulation experiments demonstrated that the proposed technique has better CE and SD performance with reduced trainable parameters. Moreover, it is faster due to the lowest elapsed time during end‐to‐end OFDM symbol detection. This paper proposes a joint pilot decontamination and signal detection for 5G MAMIMO systems. Cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) is an important cause of stroke, cognitive impairment, and other diseases, and its early quantitative evaluation can significantly improve patient prognosis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an important method to evaluate the occurrence, development, and severity of CSVD. However, the diagnostic process lacks quantitative evaluation criteria and is limited by experience, which may easily lead to missed diagnoses and misdiagnoses. With the development of artificial intelligence technology based on deep learning, the extraction of high-dimensional features in imaging can assist doctors in clinical decision-making, and it has been widely used in brain function and mental disorders, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The challenges of Reproducibility and Replicability (R & R) in computer science experiments have become a focus of attention in the last decade, as efforts to adhere to good research practices have increased. However, experiments using Deep Learning (DL) remain difficult to reproduce due to the complexity of the techniques used. Challenges such as estimating poverty indicators (e.g., wealth index levels) from remote sensing imagery, requiring the use of huge volumes of data across different geographic locations, would be impossible without the use of DL technology. To test the reproducibility of DL experiments, we report a review of the reproducibility of three DL experiments which analyze visual indicators from satellite and street imagery. For each experiment, we identify the challenges found in the data sets, methods and workflows used. As a result of this assessment we propose a checklist incorporating relevant FAIR principles to screen an experiment for its reproducibility. Based on the lessons learned from this study, we recommend a set of actions aimed to improve the reproducibility of such experiments and reduce the likelihood of wasted effort. We believe that the target audience is broad, from researchers seeking to reproduce an experiment, authors reporting an experiment, or reviewers seeking to assess the work of others. Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) has demonstrated its great potential for Adaptive Traffic Signal Control (ATSC) tasks at single‐intersection. In the transportation network multi‐agent environment, cooperative learning among multi‐agents has become a hot research topic. Based on the distributed control model, this paper presents a hybrid reward function model for the dynamic density method of intersections, which emphasizes the priority of emergency vehicles (EMV) while maximizing the traffic efficiency of social vehicles, and solves the problem of sparse reward due to the ambiguous guidance relationship between the multi‐agent Deep Reinforcement Learning (MDRL) state and reward function of the urban road network scenario. On the other hand, based on multi‐agent A2C (MA2C) algorithm, this paper presents Shared Experience MA2C (SEMA2C) between agents. In the transportation network, each intersection represented by an agent has similar task objectives. SMEA2C algorithm takes the current agent as the main body of self‐learning, and utilizes the principle of importance sampling to learn from the experience data of the agents located at adjacent intersections. Aiming at the difficulties of lumbar vertebrae segmentation in computed tomography (CT) images, we propose an automatic lumbar vertebrae segmentation method based on deep learning. The method mainly includes two parts: lumbar vertebra positioning and lumbar vertebrae segmentation. First of all, we propose a lumbar spine localization network of Unet network, which can directly locate the lumbar spine part in the image. Then, we propose a three‐dimensional XUnet lumbar vertebrae segmentation method to achieve automatic lumbar vertebrae segmentation. The method proposed in this paper was validated on the lumbar spine CT images on the public dataset VerSe 2020 and our hospital dataset. Through qualitative comparison and quantitative analysis, the experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can obtain good lumbar vertebrae segmentation performance, which can be further applied to detection of spinal anomalies and surgical treatment. Interpreting high‐resolution satellite imagery could be an expensive and time‐consuming task for human eyes. Computer Vision and Deep Learning techniques can help to solve this major problem by applying detection algorithms, which can ease the task of analysing such images for the benefit of humans. It can help in changing the way we comprehend and anticipate the economic activity around the world. Such techniques help us to observe the urban development in high security areas such as national and international borders. Constant progressions in improving and making satellites deployment, a cost‐effective process to strengthen the networks of satellite orbiting the earth is one of the reasons such tasks can be easily solved with the help of high‐resolution images. Current computer vision research works have achieved significant milestones in accuracy and speed but, there are still room for improvements. In this paper, we addressed some of these methods to bring them to a combined pipeline and proposed a set of improvements to further improve the speed and the accuracy of the detections. We proposed a unified framework, which combines several object detection algorithms and the state‐of‐art architecture of YoloV4 along with the TensorFlow object detection API. This framework can detect small and well as large objects with improved speed and accuracy by using two detectors for different scales. The world is affected by COVID‐19, an infectious disease caused by the SARS‐CoV‐2 virus. Tests are necessary for everyone as the number of COVID‐19 affected individual's increases. So, the authors developed a basic sequential CNN model based on deep and federated learning that focuses on user data security while simultaneously enhancing test accuracy. The proposed model helps users detect COVID‐19 in a few seconds by uploading a single chest X‐ray image. A deep learning‐aided architecture that can handle client and server sides efficiently has been proposed in this work. The front‐end part has been developed using StreamLit, and the back‐end uses a Flower framework. The proposed model has achieved a global accuracy of 99.59% after being trained for three federated communication rounds. The detailed analysis of this paper provides the robustness of this work. In addition, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) will improve the ease of access to the aforementioned health services. IoMT tools and services are rapidly changing healthcare operations for the better. The current wireless communication system has higher performance demands for receivers. This paper considers exploiting the natural redundancy (NR) that is widely existed in the transmission sources to improve the receiver's performance of sequence detection. The type of NR discussed in this paper is the inherent redundancy in data caused by the correlation between symbols in the memory sources. Since the correlation between transmitted symbols is too challenging to obtain, deep learning (DL) is introduced into sequence detection, which has a powerful ability to extract complex patterns from data. Specifically, intended for a specific memory source that is convenient for performance analysis, namely the Markov source, an iterative sequence detection algorithm based on the long short‐term memory network is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that the receiver's performance can be improved by exploiting the NR and the proposed DL‐based sequence detection scheme can obtain optimal bit error rate performance with blind state transition probability of the transmitted Markov source. The network structure of digital watermarking algorithm based on deep learning is usually encoder‐noise layer‐decoder. Most of the existing encoders suffer from the problem of insufficient feature extraction, and the introduction of simulated differentiable joint photographic experts group (JPEG) compression in the noise layer cannot ensure the robustness under real JPEG. In this paper, a watermarking algorithm based on multi‐scale auto‐encoder is proposed, which can effectively extract the image feature information by combining with the channel attention mechanism. At the same time, some parameters of decoder and encoder are shared to reduce redundant feature embedding and improve extraction accuracy. This paper also proposes a robust training scheme against JPEG compression, which can guide the model to store the watermark in the low‐frequency region needed for decoding. Experimental results show that the peak signal‐to‐noise ratio (PSNR) of the proposed algorithm is above 48 and the decoding rate is above 99% under JPEG compression with quality factor Q = 50. In the context of automated driving, the connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) technology unlock the energy saving potential. This paper develops an LSTM‐based deep learning framework for eco‐driving adaptive identification on Intelligent vehicle multivariate time series data. The framework can be adapted for Driver Assistance Systems (DAS) to reduce fuel consumption. Specifically, considering overtaking on rural road is a critical maneuver for operation and has potential to reduce consumption, a simulated driving experiment with 30 participants was conducted to collect the multivariate time series data of the overtaking operation behaviors in conditional automation driving. Driving behaviors were classified into eco‐driving operation behaviors and high fuel consumption operation behaviors based on fuel consumption calculated by using vehicle specific power (VSP). Significance analysis based on linear regression was adopted to identify operation behaviors, and an eco‐driving behavior identification model was established with the use of long short‐term memory (LSTM) for multivariate classification theory. Meanwhile, the other four classification algorithms were used to establish identification models for comparison. The results indicated that the gear position, lane position, the acceleration pedal depth, the clutch pedal depth, and the brake pedal depth had a significant influence on fuel consumption. The eco‐driving behavior identification model of overtaking demonstrated a high classification power and robustness with a classification accuracy of 89.16%. According to the simulation results, the developed adaptive identification model is with promising performance. With the increasing integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) into distribution systems, the optimization of system operation has become complex, facing challenges such as inadequate consideration of market participants' benefits, poor computational efficiency, and data privacy concerns. This paper introduces the concept of a virtual power plant (VPP) as a solution for energy integration and management. To strike a balance between operational safety and the interests of market participants, a dual‐layer model is proposed. This model considers the benefits of both Distribution System Operators (DSO) and VPP, while also enhancing the consideration of distribution network constraints. The DSO considers AC optimal power flow and utilizes penalty functions to ensure network security in case of violations. To enhance computational efficiency and privacy, the paper presents the parameter‐sharing twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient approach. This approach allows multiple intelligent agents to share a neural network model, effectively reducing the computational load. During the training process, only essential data is exchanged among the agents, ensuring the privacy of sensitive information. Accurate fish size measurement in breeding areas is crucial for the fishing industry. Unlike acoustic methods with high equipment cost and low measurement accuracy, current image‐based methods offer a promising alternative. However, these image‐based methods still face challenges in selecting measurement points. To address this issue and achieve precise measurements of individual fish, this paper introduces an automatic fish size measurement method based on key point detection. We established a Fish‐Keypoints dataset and utilized deep learning techniques for the detection of fish and their key points. Using a binocular camera system, we reconstruct a three‐dimensional coordinate system to measure key points at the fish's head and tail, facilitating fish length calculation. The detection model achieves an accuracy of 85.1% in key point detection. The proposed method is tested in both land and underwater environments, demonstrating a relative measurement error of approximately 7% for fish in pools. Purpose: The macular ganglion cell layer (mGCL) is a strong potential biomarker of axonal degeneration in multiple sclerosis (MS). For this reason, this study aims to develop a computer-aided method to facilitate diagnosis and prognosis in MS., Methods: This paper combines a cross-sectional study of 72 MS patients and 30 healthy control subjects for diagnosis and a 10-year longitudinal study of the same MS patients for the prediction of disability progression, during which the mGCL was measured using optical coherence tomography (OCT). Deep neural networks were used as an automatic classifier., Results: For MS diagnosis, greatest accuracy (90.3%) was achieved using 17 features as inputs. The neural network architecture comprised the input layer, two hidden layers and the output layer with softmax activation. For the prediction of disability progression 8 years later, accuracy of 81.9% was achieved with a neural network comprising two hidden layers and 400 epochs., Conclusion: We present evidence that by applying deep learning techniques to clinical and mGCL thickness data it is possible to identify MS and predict the course of the disease. Deep learning is gaining importance due to its wide range of applications. Many researchers have utilized deep learning (DL) models for the automated diagnosis of cancer patients. This paper provides a systematic review of DL models for automated diagnosis of cancer patients. Initially, various DL models for cancer diagnosis are presented. Five major categories of cancers such as breast, lung, liver, brain and cervical cancer are considered. As these categories of cancers have a very high percentage of occurrences with high mortality rate. The comparative analysis of different types of DL models is drawn for the diagnosis of cancer at early stages by considering the latest research articles from 2016 to 2022. After comprehensive comparative analysis, it is found that most of the researchers achieved appreciable accuracy with implementation of the convolutional neural network model. These utilized the pretrained models for automated diagnosis of cancer patients. Various shortcomings with the existing DL-based automated cancer diagnosis models are also been presented. Due to differences in the quantity and size of observed targets, hyperspectral images are characterized by class imbalance. The standard deep learning classification model training scheme optimizes the overall classification error, which may lead to performance imbalance between classes in hyperspectral image classification frameworks. Therefore, a novel factor annealing decoupling compositional training method is proposed in this paper. Without requiring resampling or reweighting, it implicitly modulates the training process, so standard models can sufficiently learn the representation of the minority classes and further be trained as robust classifiers. Specifically, the label‐distribution‐aware margin loss is combined with the error‐rate‐based cross‐entropy loss via combination factor, which considers both imbalanced data representation learning and classifier overall performance. Then, a factor annealing optimization training scheme is designed to adjust the combination factor, which solves the stage division problem of two‐stage decoupling learning. Experimental results on two hyperspectral image datasets demonstrate that, as compared with other competing approaches, the proposed method can continuously and stably optimize the model parameters, achieving improvements in class average metrics and difficult classes without affecting overall classification performance. Deep learning‐based models have become ubiquitous across a wide range of applications, including computer vision, natural language processing, and robotics. Despite their efficacy, one of the significant challenges associated with deep neural network (DNN) models is the potential risk of copyright leakage due to the inherent vulnerability of the entire model architecture and the communication burden of the large models during publishing. So far, it is still challenging for us to safeguard the intellectual property rights of these DNN models while reducing the communication time during model publishing. To this end, this paper introduces a novel approach using knowledge distillation techniques aimed at training a surrogate model to stand in for the original DNN model. To be specific, a knowledge distillation generative adversarial network (KDGAN) model is proposed to train a student model capable of achieving remarkable performance levels while simultaneously safeguarding the copyright integrity of the original large teacher model and improving communication efficiency during model publishing. Herein, comprehensive experiments are conducted to showcase the efficacy of model copyright protection, communication‐efficient model publishing, and the superiority of the proposed KDGAN model over other copyright protection mechanisms.
