Highlights Polyurethane has been widely studied as a lightweight reinforcing material. This paper uses two types of hollow glass microspheres to modify polyurethane in different proportions to prepare a variety of lightweight cores for reinforcing carbon fiber tubes. A quasi‐static lateral compression test was performed on the reinforced carbon fiber tube to analyze the effect of reinforcement materials on mechanical properties, failure modes and crashworthiness. The results show that BR20 reinforcement material has the best effect on enhancing the mechanical properties and crashworthiness of the structure, and its energy absorption is 3.5 times higher than that of carbon fiber tubes. Hollow glass microspheres can improve the reinforcing effect of polyurethane. Lightweight cores prepared from different types of hollow glass microspheres show different failure modes during lateral compression (polyurethane and BR60 show better ductility, and BR20 shows shear failure). The BR20 and BR60 are mixed in different proportions, the reinforced polyurethane foam reinforced carbon fiber tube can have little difference in the energy absorption. The addition of BR20 and BR60 showed a large difference in the force‐displacement curve during the compression stage. A qualitative analysis is conducted based on the effect of the total energy absorption of the structure on the reinforcement materials. The lightweight core is prepared by hollow glass microspheres and polyurethane. Reinforcement materials enhance the lateral compression performance. Herein, visible‐light‐induced metal‐free three‐component amidoheteroarylation of alkenes with quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones and N‐sulfonylaminopyridinium salts is developed. This protocol involves a radical relay process in which the N‐centered radicals undergo chemoselective addition to alkenes to form an alkyl radical that selectively combines with heteroarenes, leading to the formation of C−C and C−N bonds in one step under mild reaction conditions. The involved high efficiency and selectivity, wide substrate scope, and excellent functional‐group compatibility demonstrate the practicability of the developed protocol. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The differentiation of bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) into Schwann‐like cells (SCLCs) has the potential to promote the structural and functional restoration of injured axons. However, the optimal induction protocol and its underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of different induction protocols in promoting the differentiation of rat BMSCs into SCLCs and to explore their potential mechanisms. BMSCs were induced using two distinct methods: a composite factor induction approach (Protocol‐1) and a conditioned culture medium induction approach (Protocol‐2). The expression of Schwann cells (SCs) marker proteins and neurotrophic factors (NTFs) in the differentiated cells was assessed. Cell proliferation and apoptosis were also measured. During induction, changes in miR‐21 and Sprouty RTK signaling antagonist 2 (SPRY2) mRNA were analyzed. Following the transfection of BMSCs with miR‐21 agomir or miR‐21 antagomir, induction was carried out using both protocols, and the expression of SPRY2, ERK1/2, and SCs marker proteins was examined. The results revealed that NTFs expression was higher in Protocol‐1, whereas SCs marker proteins expression did not significantly differ between the two groups. Compared to Protocol‐1, Protocol‐2 exhibited enhanced cell proliferation and fewer apoptotic and necrotic cells. Both protocols showed a negative correlation between miR‐21 and SPRY2 expression throughout the induction stages. After induction, the miR‐21 agomir group exhibited reduced SPRY2 expression, increased ERK1/2 expression, and significantly elevated expression of SCs marker proteins. This study demonstrates that Protocol‐1 yields higher NTFs expression, whereas Protocol‐2 results in stronger SCLCs proliferation. However, their light‐induced instability and the difficulty of utilizing the photogenerated carriers for photocatalysis pose significant challenges. Here, MAg24 (M=Ag, Pd, Pt, and Au) NCs doped with diverse single heteroatoms have been encapsulated in a metal–organic framework (MOF), UiO‐66‐NH2, affording MAg24@UiO‐66‐NH2. Strikingly, compared with Ag25@UiO‐66‐NH2, the MAg24@UiO‐66‐NH2 doped with heteroatom exhibits much enhanced activity in photocatalytic hydrogen production, among which AuAg24@UiO‐66‐NH2 presents the best activity up to 3.6 mmol g−1 h−1, far superior to all other counterparts. Moreover, they display excellent photocatalytic recyclability and stability. Integrating ferroelectricity and long‐lived afterglow emission in a single material would offer new possibilities for fundamental research and applications, however, related reports have been a blank to date. In recent years, efforts have been made to include tides in both operational ocean models as well as climate and earth system models. The accuracy of the barotropic tides is often limited by the model topography, which is in turn limited by model horizontal resolution. In this work, we explore the reduction of barotropic tidal errors in an ocean general circulation model (Modular Ocean Model version 6; MOM6) using sub‐grid scale topography representation. We follow the methodology from Adcroft (2013, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ocemod.2013.03.002), which utilizes statistics from finer resolution topographic data sets to represent sub‐grid scale features with a light computational cost in a structured finite volume formulation. The geometric effect from sub‐grid scale topography can be introduced to the model with only a few parameters at each grid cell. The porous barriers, which are implemented at the walls of the grid cells, are used to modify transport between grid cells. Our results show that the globally averaged tidal error in lower‐resolution simulations is significantly reduced with the use of porous barriers. We argue this method is a potentially useful tool to improve simulations of tides (and other flows) in low‐resolution simulations. Plain Language Summary: In recent years, significant attention has been given to simulating tides in diverse ocean and climate models, because of the roles of tides in impacting sea levels. In order to better predict future sea level changes, it is therefore essential to improve the accuracy of surface tides simulated in numerical ocean models. One known source of errors that could impact the accuracy of modeled tides stems from the accuracy of ocean topography in the models, which relies on how many grid boxes (i.e., model resolution) are used to represent the complicated seafloor elevations. The model's resolution, however, is often constrained by the efficiency of computations. Our objective in this study is to enhance the portrayal of ocean topography at a given resolution to minimize tidal errors. To achieve this, we employ a technique known as "porous barriers," which uses approximations to mimic the effects of ocean topography that would be omitted in the models, without imposing significant computational burdens. Our findings demonstrate that this technique of porous barriers can substantially reduce tidal errors in our ocean model. We also expect a wider application of this technique to numerous other physical processes within the ocean. Aims: FoxO1 is an important target in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, FoxO1‐specific agonists and their effects on AD have not yet been reported. This study aimed to identify small molecules that upregulate the activity of FoxO1 to attenuate the symptoms of AD. Methods: FoxO1 agonists were identified by in silico screening and molecular dynamics simulation. Western blotting and reverse transcription‐quantitative polymerase chain reaction assays were used to assess protein and gene expression levels of P21, BIM, and PPARγ downstream of FoxO1 in SH‐SY5Y cells, respectively. Western blotting and enzyme‐linked immunoassays were performed to explore the effect of FoxO1 agonists on APP metabolism. Results: N‐(3‐methylisothiazol‐5‐yl)‐2‐(2‐oxobenzo[d]oxazol‐3(2H)‐yl) acetamide (compound D) had the highest affinity for FoxO1. Compound D activated FoxO1 and regulated the expression of its downstream target genes, P21, BIM, and PPARγ. In SH‐SY5Y cells treated with compound D, BACE1 expression levels were downregulated, and the levels of Aβ1‐40 and Aβ1‐42 were also reduced. The woven lattice truss sandwich panels (WLTSPs) have been studied much, and this article proposes a new structure (curved woven lattice truss sandwich [CWLTS] panels). CWLTS were designed, made, and tested. The foam‐filling technique was applied to strengthen the CWLTS. Curving and foam‐filling effects to the deformation, damage, failure, and energy absorption under cylindrical and plated loadings were revealed by three‐point bending experiments. Under cylindrical loading, foam‐filling can effectively increase the load capacity, especially the CWLTS‐A. The load‐bearing capacity of the plated loading is greater than that of the cylindrical loading, and the phenomenon is significantly improved after foam filling, except for the central angle of 60° and the CWLTS‐A of 44.05°. Foam‐filling changes failure from core‐shearing to face fracture. For foam‐filled panels, the change in loading pattern results in energy absorption increase of 2.45 times for CWLTS‐B and 2.86 times for CWLTS‐A. Plated loading approximately doubles the peak load and energy absorption with two plastic hinges. The effect of foam filling on the mean crush force of the CWLTS plated loading is greater. The mechanical and energy absorption properties of the CWLTS can be improved by changing the loading mode and using foam filling, effectively increasing the applicability. BACKGROUND: Since 2002, the Chinese Ministry of Education has conducted reform in the physical education (PE) curriculums of schools in China, with a focus on shifting from sports skills to regular participation in physical activity (PA) and promoting health. The aim of the study, therefore, is to examine the effects of school PE on the exercise habits of children and adolescents in China over time. METHODS: Data based on 5941 observations of 3708 individuals aged 6 to 17 were collected from the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS) for the period 2004 to 2015. The data were analyzed using the fixed‐effect Logit model and the random‐effect Tobit model. RESULTS: The likelihood of exercising outside of school is 20.2% higher for students who have school PE than those who do not. Our study found that increasing the duration of PE at school by 100%, increases the duration of out‐of‐school PA by 22.3%. The variety of the types of sports schools offer encourages students to participate in out‐of‐school physical activity. The likelihood of students exercising outside of school increases by 5.6% when 1 more exercise type is provided in school PE. In addition, soccer, basketball, badminton, and volleyball education increases students' participation in after‐school exercises. Soccer and basketball education, in particular, improves the duration of after‐school PA. CONCLUSIONS: To form exercise habits in children and adolescents, we encourage the promotion of a variety of physical activities in schools, especially team sports such as soccer and basketball. Introduction: Chronic wounds are wounds that are not healed or have no healing tendency for more than 1 month due to various factors. In clinical nursing, chronic wounds are often not properly treated, and the treatment efficiency is low. Therefore, it is very important to explore effective methods to deal with chronic wounds. Objective: To explore the effect of a self‐made negative pressure suction device (NPSD) in the nursing of chronic wounds in the elderly. Methods: A total of 50 elderly patients with chronic wounds who were hospitalised in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as participants by convenient sampling. According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 25 people in each group. The control group was treated with chloroplast foam dressing, debridement gel and alginate dressing. The observation group was treated with a self‐made NPSD on the basis of the control group. The wound healing of the two groups was observed. Results: After the intervention of the self‐made NPSD, the granulation tissue coverage rate and wound volume reduction rate of the observation group were significantly increased (p < 0.05), and the positive rate of bacterial infection was significantly decreased (p < 0.05). After 3 months of intervention, the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (χ2 = 3.869, p = 0.0492). Objective: Rare variants of CCNK (cyclin K) give rise to a syndrome with intellectual disability. The purpose of this study was to describe the genotype–phenotype spectrum of CCNK‐related syndrome and the underlying molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis. Methods: We identified a number of de novo CCNK variants in unrelated patients. We generated patient‐induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and neural progenitor cells (NPCs) as disease models. In addition, we constructed NPC‐specific Ccnk knockout (KO) mice and performed molecular and morphological analyses. Results: We identified 2 new patients harboring CCNK missense variants and followed‐up 3 previous reported patients, which constitute the largest patient population analysis of the disease. We demonstrate that both the patient‐derived NPC models and the Ccnk KO mouse displayed deficient NPC proliferation and enhanced apoptotic cell death. RNA sequencing analyses of these NPC models uncovered transcriptomic signatures unique to CCNK‐related syndrome, revealing significant changes in genes, including WNT5A, critical for progenitor proliferation and cell death. Further, to confirm WNT5A's role, we conducted rescue experiments using NPC and mouse models. We found that a Wnt5a inhibitor significantly increased proliferation and reduced apoptosis in NPCs derived from patients with CCNK‐related syndrome and NPCs in the developing cortex of Ccnk KO mice. Interpretation: We discussed the genotype–phenotype relationship of CCNK‐related syndrome. Importantly, we demonstrated that CCNK plays critical roles in NPC proliferation and NPC apoptosis in vivo and in vitro. Inkless and erasable printing (IEP) based on chromic materials holds great promise to alleviate environmental and sustainable problems. Metal–organic polymers (MOPs) are bright platforms for constructing IEP materials. However, it is still challenging to design target MOPs with excellent specific functions rationally due to the intricate component‐structure‐property relationships. Herein, an effective strategy was proposed for the rational design IEP‐MOP materials. The stimuli‐responsive viologen moiety was introduced into the construction of MOPs to give it potential chromic behaviors and two different coordination models (i. e. bilateral coordination model, M1; unilateral coordinated model, M2) based on the same viologen ligand were designed. Aided by theoretical calculations, model M1 was recommended secondarily as a more suitable system for IEP materials. Along this line, two representative viologen‐ZnII MOPs 1 and 2 with models M1 and M2 were synthesized successfully. Experiments exhibit that 1 does have quicker stimuli response, stronger color contrast and longer radical lifetime compared to 2. Significantly, the obtained 1‐IEP media brightly inherits the excellent chromic characteristics of 1 and the flexibility of the paper at the same time, which achieves most daily printing requirements, as well as enough resolution and durability to be used in identification by smart device. Prostate cancer (PCa) is a frustrating immunogenic "cold" tumor and generally receives unsatisfied immunotherapy outcomes in the clinic. Pyroptosis is an excellent immunogenic cell death form that can effectively activate the antitumor immune response, promote cytotoxic T‐lymphocyte infiltration, and convert tumors from "cold" to "hot." However, the in vivo application of pyroptosis drugs is seriously limited, and the upregulation of tumor PD‐L1 caused by photo‐immunotherapy further promotes immune escape. Herein, a new nano‐photosensitizer (YBS‐BMS NPs‐RKC) with pH‐response integrating immunogenic pyroptosis induction and immune checkpoint blockade is developed. The pH‐responsive polymer equipped with the cell membrane anchoring peptide RKC is used as the carrier and further encapsulated with the near‐infrared‐activated semiconductor polymer photosensitizer YBS and a PD‐1/PD‐L1 complex small molecule inhibitor BMS‐202. The pH‐driven membrane‐anchoring and pyroptosis activation of YBS‐BMS NPs‐RKC is clearly demonstrated. In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that this dual‐pronged therapy stimulates a powerful antitumor immune response to suppress primary tumor progression and evokes long‐term immune memory to inhibit tumor relapse and metastasis. Manipulating the radical concentration to modulate the properties in solid multifunctional materials is an attractive topic in various frontier fields. Viologens have the unique redox capability to generate radical states through reversible electron transfer (ET) under external stimuli. Herein, taking the viologens as the model, two kinds of crystalline compounds with different molecule‐conjugated systems were designed and synthesized. By subjecting the specific model viologens to pressure, the cross‐conjugated 2‐X all exhibit much higher radical concentrations, along with more sensitive piezochromic behaviors, compared to the linear‐conjugated 1‐X. Unexpectedly, we find that the electrical resistance (R) of 1‐NO3 decreased by three orders of magnitude with the increasing pressure, while that in high‐radical‐concentration 2‐NO3 remained almost unchanged. To date, such unusual invariant conductivity has not been documented in molecular‐based materials under high pressure, breaking the conventional wisdom that the generations of radicals are beneficial to improve conductivity. Background: MR scans used in radiotherapy can be partially truncated due to the limited field of view (FOV), affecting dose calculation accuracy in MR‐based radiation treatment planning. Purpose: We proposed a novel Compensation‐cycleGAN (Comp‐cycleGAN) by modifying the cycle‐consistent generative adversarial network (cycleGAN), to simultaneously create synthetic CT (sCT) images and compensate the missing anatomy from the truncated MR images. Methods: Computed tomography (CT) and T1 MR images with complete anatomy of 79 head‐and‐neck patients were used for this study. The original MR images were manually cropped 10–25 mm off at the posterior head to simulate clinically truncated MR images. Fifteen patients were randomly chosen for testing and the rest of the patients were used for model training and validation. Both the truncated and original MR images were used in the Comp‐cycleGAN training stage, which enables the model to compensate for the missing anatomy by learning the relationship between the truncation and known structures. After the model was trained, sCT images with complete anatomy can be generated by feeding only the truncated MR images into the model. In addition, the external body contours acquired from the CT images with full anatomy could be an optional input for the proposed method to leverage the additional information of the actual body shape for each test patient. The mean absolute error (MAE) of Hounsfield units (HU), peak signal‐to‐noise ratio (PSNR), and structural similarity index (SSIM) were calculated between sCT and real CT images to quantify the overall sCT performance. To further evaluate the shape accuracy, we generated the external body contours for sCT and original MR images with full anatomy. The Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) and mean surface distance (MSD) were calculated between the body contours of sCT and original MR images for the truncation region to assess the anatomy compensation accuracy. Results: The average MAE, PSNR, and SSIM calculated over test patients were 93.1 HU/91.3 HU, 26.5 dB/27.4 dB, and 0.94/0.94 for the proposed Comp‐cycleGAN models trained without/with body‐contour information, respectively. These results were comparable with those obtained from the cycleGAN model which is trained and tested on full‐anatomy MR images, indicating the high quality of the sCT generated from truncated MR images by the proposed method. Within the truncated region, the mean DSC and MSD were 0.85/0.89 and 1.3/0.7 mm for the proposed Comp‐cycleGAN models trained without/with body contour information, demonstrating good performance in compensating the truncated anatomy. Conclusions: We developed a novel Comp‐cycleGAN model that can effectively create sCT with complete anatomy compensation from truncated MR images, which could potentially benefit the MRI‐based treatment planning. Flexible optoelectronic devices have attracted enormous attention as an essential component in next‐generation wearable devices. To meet the trend of biocompatibility, flexibility and low cost, paper‐based optoelectronic devices have become compelling candidates. Moreover, 2D organic–inorganic metal halide perovskites have been extensively studied for the application in flexible optoelectronic devices owing to their long‐term moisture stability, optoelectronic tunability, and multiple quantum well (MQW) structures. Herein, the paper‐based flexible optoelectronic devices are designed by spin‐coating PEDOT:PSS and (iso‐BA)2MAn‐1PbnI3n+1 (n ≥ 1) on regular filter paper with responsivity of 2.62 mA W−1 and response time (τrise/τdecay) of 0.81/0.18 s at 35% relative humidity (RH). Furthermore, the responsivity may be increased by 250% within the humidity range from 35% to 90%, and remains above 92% of the initial value after measured for 1800 s at 60% RH. Induction of immunogenic cell death (ICD) in tumor combined with immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy is widely developed to improve the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy. However, the current ICD induced based on apoptosis, i.e., immunogenic apoptosis, is often restricted in immunogenicity owing to the inflammatory quenching that occurs early in apoptosis. Recently, pyroptosis is demonstrated to be a more efficient ICD form, i.e., immunogenic pyroptosis. The cell contents released during pyroptosis can powerfully activate tumor immunogenicity. Herein, first, it is demonstrated that lower doses of epigenetic drug decitabine can increase GSDME expression in prostate cancer (PCa) RM‐1 cells and successfully induce an apoptosis‐pyroptosis transition after photodynamic therapy (PDT). Subsequently, a microenvironment dual‐responsive nano‐drug equipped with PD‐L1 blocking peptide (TSD@LSN‐D) is developed for self‐synergistic cancer immunotherapy. The poorly immunogenic RM‐1 PCa model confirm that the powerful antitumor immune response evoked by TSD@LSN‐D not only can effectively inhibit the primary tumor but also form a long‐term immune memory to prevent PCa recurrence and metastasis. To the best of authors' knowledge, this work presents the first concept that promotes the apoptosis–pyroptosis transition after tumor PDT through epigenetic modulation. The development of universal interlayer materials for diverse optoelectronic devices not only decreases the costs in both laboratory research and industrialized production, but also improves the uniformity of different devices so as to facilitate device integration. However, using one material to fabricate diverse devices remains a great challenge. Herein, p‐π conjugation is utilize to replace the commonly used π–π conjugation to develop an unprecedented anode interlayer (AIL) material PCP‐S that can be universally used in diverse optoelectronic devices, including organic light‐emitting diode (OLED), organic solar cell (OSC), and perovskite solar cell (PSC). The unique solubility and the easy adjustment of optoelectronic properties are keys to realize the multiple uses of PCP‐S. First, OSC based on the polyoxometalate (POM)‐doped PCP‐S exhibits a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 17.1%, representing the highest efficiency for OSCs using a solution‐processed pH‐neutral AIL. Second, PSC with PCP‐S shows a PCE of 20.1%, which is superior to the device with poly(triaryl amine) (PTAA). Third, OLED possesses a significantly reduced turn‐on voltage from 3.8 to 2.8 V by incorporating the PCP‐S AIL. III–V/silicon tandem solar cells simultaneously have the potential advantages of high efficiency and low cost. Bonding is an effective way to realize tandem at both ends. However, it is difficult to realize vacuum bonding in industrialized micrometer‐sized pyramid silicon cells. Up to know, all bonding in III–V/silicon tandem solar cells is based on planar silicon cells. Here, a transparent conductive adhesive (TCA) based on micron particle size is designed and implemented, which realizes the bonding of III–V cell and textured silicon cell for the first time. The TCA consists of epoxy adhesive 301 (Epoxy‐301) as transparent adhesive and silver‐coated flexible polymethylmethacrylate microspheres as conductive particles. The average contact resistance of TCA is 0.17 Ω cm2, and the transmittance exceeds 91% in the range of 800—1200 nm. In addition, TCA shows good stability in the etching process of GaAs substrates. Monolithic III–V/silicon device exhibits 25.1% power conversion efficiency (PCE) on thin and textured silicon heterojunction solar cells, which enables flexible properties of tandem cells. Compared with silicon subcell and III–V subcell, the performance of tandem device is improved by 28.3% and 8.6%, respectively. Summary: Previous studies have found that UV‐C irradiation activated endogenous acid protease (EAP) in shrimp heads. Aiming at understanding the effect of UV‐C irradiation on the activation of EAP and improving the utilisation of EAP, the effect of UV‐C irradiation on the enzymatic properties and conformation of EAP was investigated. The enzymatic properties of EAP were unaltered after UV‐C irradiation, and the optimum pH, temperature, and NaCl concentration were 3, 60°C, and 0.5 mol/L, respectively. Ca2+ and Mg2+ activated the enzyme. The molecular weight of the purified endogenous acid protease (P‐EAP) was 32 kDa. UV–Vis, FTIR, circular dichroism, and fluorescence spectroscopy indicated that the increase in enzyme activity by UV‐C irradiation was related to an increase in tryptophan and hydrogen bonding, implying that it may be the change in the spatial structure of the protein that caused the activation of the enzyme. Both origami and kirigami arts, the strategies of mechanically affording versatile and unconventional structural transformation, have attracted huge attention in the fields of physics and material science. With the assistance of meta‐devices, origami and kirigami techniques are gradually applied to guide electromagnetic waves yet the exploration on this academic issue is still in infancy. Here, a general paradigm that inspired by origami–kirigami arts is proposed to fit the Rosenfeld principle‐based chiroptical effect. The L‐ and D‐enantiomers are implemented to tailor the aperture distribution of a fabricated meta‐film. By properly folding the meta‐film, the holographic images can be reconstructed at designated focal planes when driven by spin angular momenta for distinct frequency bands. Owing to the characteristics of flexibility and foldability, the fabricated meta‐film can be easily applied to carry and deploy, which may bring up another route for spin selective systems, camouflage, and information encryption. Summary: Rice production is threatened by multiple pathogens. Breeding cultivars with broad‐spectrum disease resistance is necessary to maintain and improve crop production. Previously we found that overexpression of miR160a enhanced rice blast disease resistance. However, it is unclear whether miR160a also regulates resistance against other pathogens, and what the downstream signaling pathways are.Here, we demonstrate that miR160a positively regulates broad‐spectrum resistance against the causative agents of blast, leaf blight and sheath blight in rice. Mutations of miR160a‐targeted Auxin Response Factors result in different alteration of resistance conferred by miR160a. miR160a enhances disease resistance partially by suppressing ARF8, as mutation of ARF8 in MIM160 background partially restores the compromised resistance resulting from MIM160.ARF8 protein binds directly to the promoter and suppresses the expression of WRKY45, which acts as a positive regulator of rice immunity. Mutation of WRKY45 compromises the enhanced blast resistance and bacterial leaf blight resistance conferred by arf8 mutant.Overall, our results reveal that a microRNA coordinates rice broad‐spectrum disease resistance by suppressing multiple target genes that play different roles in disease resistance, and uncover a new regulatory pathway mediated by the miR160a‐ARF8 module. In this work, the electrochemical behavior and reversibility of electrodeposition of Zn−Ni alloys were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) in the Choline chloride Urea (ChCl‐Urea) system. The results show that the electrodeposition of Zn−Ni alloy follows the normal co‐deposition mechanism and is an irreversible process controlled by diffusion. Timing current method (CA) shows that the electrocrystallization mechanism of Zn−Ni alloy follow three‐dimensional instantaneous nucleation, involving several processes: adsorption process (jads), diffusion‐controlled three‐dimensional nucleation/growth process (j3D‐DC), and water reduction process(jWR). The charge of each process was calculated: Qads, Q3D‐DC, and QWR, and it was found that changing potential could control the charge contribution rate. According to the kinetic parameters, the number density N0 (cm−2) and nucleation rate A (S−1) were obtained. According to the best fitting results, Zn−Ni alloy coating was obtained. Dynamically crosslinked supramolecular networks have emerged in the last decades as extremely stretchable and self‐healing materials thanks to the energy dissipation in weak and reversible interactions. Stretchable materials with tunable properties represent an effort to develop a charming class of smart devices. Once stretched, however, these materials' properties are usually fixed due to strain‐induced crystallization (SIC), hindering their practical applications. Here, photoinduced contraction smart fibers and photoswitchable adhesives are generated from a dynamic supramolecular gel network, the SIC in which can be disrupted by UV irradiation to release the prestored strain energy. The dynamic sliding of azo‐bridged bipedal host molecules along the polymer chains renders the extreme stretchability of supramolecular gel under stretching forces. The oriented crystalline microdomains or crystallites through SIC upon stretching serve as physical crosslinks to store the contractile energy of fibers and improve the adhesion force of adhesives, and then are disoriented induced by trans‐to‐cis isomerization of azobenzene mesogens to release the prestored strain energy, resulting in such contraction of fibers and reduction of adhesion strength of adhesives. This work provides inspiration for exploring the structure–property relationship of supramolecular networks and transforming their clear potential to fabricate more remarkable synthetic smart materials. Background: The progression rate from CIN1 to CIN3 is 9.0% and that for invasive cancer is 1.0%. The large majority of CIN1 lesions regress spontaneously, and the treatment of CIN1 is still controversial. Aims: The aim of this study is to investigate the responsible HPV genotype in the low‐grade SILs, then to predict the presence of high‐grade SILs, and determine whether further treatment is needed. Methods: We use the methods of manual microdissection with FFPE tissue specimens and the E6/E7 uniplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to detect HPV in the lesions. Results: The HPV test was performed on 72 biopsy tissue specimens, and 55 (76.4%, 55/72) of them were HPV positive. Nine (16.4%, 9/55) of them escalated to CIN2 after LEEP or cervical conization, and 46 (83.6%, 46/55) were still CIN1. There were 17 (23.6%, 17/72) cases with HPV‐negative results in cervical biopsy tissues. HPV test of cervical biopsy diagnosed with CIN1 has a positive predictive value of 16.4% in the presence of CIN2 or higher lesions, a negative predictive value of 94.1%, a specificity of 25.8%, and a sensitivity of 90.0%. HPV test of cervical biopsy tissues for the prediction of HPV infection in LEEP or cone surgery tissues had a positive predictive value of 80.0%, a negative predictive value of 82.3%, a specificity of 56.0%, and a sensitivity of 93.6%. Conclusions: It is the first time that we have detected HPV genotype in the low‐grade SILs by the methods of manual microdissection with FFPE tissue specimens and the E6/E7 uniplex PCR. Patients with cervical biopsy tissue diagnosed with CIN1 and with a negative or only low‐risk HPV type result can be considered for follow‐up. Conversely, in cases of cervical biopsy tissue diagnosed with CIN1 positive for high‐risk HPV, surgery or a close follow‐up program can be selected. In this work, a single crystal catalyst was synthesized via protective desilication of zeolite while incorporating indium. Glucose was isomerized in methanol at concentrations as high as 33 wt % before being hydrolyzed with water. The final fructose production was 54.9 %, with 89.1 % selectivity and 93.3 % sugar recovery, the highest isomerization rate at the highest concentration ever reported. Indium was present in the single‐crystal catalyst as oxide nanoparticles and boundary framework atoms, and it achieved intelligent cooperation in the production of fructose syrup in methanol by catalyzing isomerization and selective glycosidation, minimizing degradation due to fructose accumulation and eliminating side reactions. Objective: Cytologic evaluation of the upper urinary tract (UUT) can be challenging due to instrumentation artefacts. This study retrospectively reviewed UUT specimens using The Paris System for Reporting Urinary Cytopathology, second edition (TPS 2.0), compared it with the original reporting system (ORS) and correlated it with histopathologic follow‐up. Methods: An institutional database was reviewed for the UUT biopsy/resection histopathologic specimens, and we included 52 UUT cytology specimens pertinent to these cases in the study. These specimens were blindly reviewed and reclassified using TPS 2.0. The correlation between TPS 2.0, ORS and histopathologic follow‐up was assessed. Results: The UUT cytology specimens corresponded to 21 (40.4%) high‐grade urothelial carcinoma (HGUC), 27 (51.9%) low‐grade urothelial carcinoma (LGUC) and 4 (7.7%) benign cases on follow‐up. For HGGC cases, the associated TPS categories included unsatisfactory (n = 1, 4.8%), negative for HGUC (NHGUC; n = 3, 14.3%), atypical urothelial cells (AUC; n = 6, 28.6%), suspicious for HGUC (SHGUC; n = 3, 14.3%) and HGUC (n = 8, 38.1%), while ORS categorised the specimens as unsatisfactory (n = 1, 4.8%), negative for malignant cells (NFMC; n = 3, 14.3%), AUC (n = 5, 23.8%), low‐grade urothelial carcinoma (LGUC; n = 0, 0%), SHGUC (n = 5, 23.8%) and HGUC (n = 7, 33.3%). The risks of high‐grade malignancy among cytologic categories were similar between ORS and TPS (p > 0.05). The majority of LGUC were classified as AUC similarly by ORS and TPS (55.6% vs. 59.3%). Conclusions: Our study demonstrated comparable performance between TPS 2.0 and ORS for UUT cytology specimens. Cytological diagnosis of UUT specimens remains challenging, especially for LGUC. The present paper focused on how a third party's social status affects third‐party intervention to maintain social fairness. Study 1 adopted a quasi‐experimental design. Selecting high and low‐status members of real social groups, we observed that high‐status individuals intervened more forcibly and more frequently when assessing the fairness of players' behavior in a dictator game (DG). The manifestation of social status is generally divided into power and economic capital. In Study 2a, using the same DG punishment–compensation paradigm we randomly assigned the third party in the lab to high, medium, and low impact conditions, where their actions had relative multiplier effects on the resources retained by dictators and recipients. This tested whether the power to influence the situation would systematically affect third party's behavior. We found that greater influence predicted increased interventions. Study 2b investigated the influence of economic capital or intrinsic wealth on a third party's altruistic behavior by varying how much capital the third party had at their disposal to spend on punishment or recompensing. Having high capital predicted an increase in the size of penalty inflicted or compensation offered, but resource abundance had no effect on the likelihood that the third party would intervene. In conclusion, the paper showed that the social status of the third party truly does affect their altruistic interventions and the impact of social status on altruistic behaviors for maintaining fairness by the third party occurred primarily through the third parties' perception of their power. Furthermore, the influence of gain and loss contexts and social status on third‐party punishment and compensation were independent of each other. Circular dichroism, as one of the exotic phenomena, derives from chirality biomolecules in nature, expressing differential absorption of spin angular momentum. The concept of dichroism has been migrated to the field of artificial materials and acquired adequate development. However, there is still a lack of a flexible strategy to tailor circular dichroism for providing another promising level to achieve spin‐selective multi‐dimensional manipulation of electromagnetic waves. In this work, a paradigm of reflective chiral metasurface is proposed to promote this aspect of exploration. By introducing loss resistors into the chiral meta‐atoms, the magnitude of differential absorption effect can be tailored by varying the corresponding resistance, leading to the variation of co‐polarization reflection amplitude. Combining with the Pancharatnam–Berry phases of chiral meta‐atom, both the reflective amplitude and phase are flexibly controlled in independent manners. Accordingly, the pattern of reflection fields can be theoretically shaped into arbitrary forms through Fourier transform in spatial domain. Here, metasurfaces for achieving rectangular‐shaped beam and complex‐amplitude hologram are demonstrated as two proofs‐of‐principle. Encouragingly, this effort provides an alternative approach for simultaneous control of amplitude and phase, which may pave a new route in the fields of beam‐forming technology and spin‐selective integrated systems. Herein, this paper reports a facile method to prepare electrospun carbon nanofiber mats (ECNFMs) with high specific surface area and interconnected structure using polyacrylonitrile (PAN) as a precursor and novolac resin (NOC) as a polymer sacrificial pore‐making agent. Without additional treatment, the prepared ECNFMs have a highly porous structure because NOC decomposes in a wider temperature range than most polymer activators. The NOC content in the PAN nanofibers shows important effects on porosity. The BET specific surface area of ECNFMs reaches a maximum of 1468 m2 g−1 when the precursor nanofibers contained 30 wt% NOC (ECNFM‐3) after carbonization at 1000 °C. The supercapacitor device from ECNFM‐3 electrode and all‐solid‐state electrolyte shows excellent cycling durability and high specific capacitance: ≈99.72% capacitance retention after 10 000 charge/discharge cycles and ≈320 mF cm−2 at 0.25 mA cm−2. Furthermore, it shows a large energy density of ≈11.1 μWh cm−2 under the power density of 500 mW m−2. Activation of carbon nanofibers simply by the addition of NOC into precursor nanofibers can offer a handy way to prepare ECNFMs for high‐performance all‐solid‐state supercapacitors and other potential applications. Previous research has primarily focused on the coping experiences and thoughts of individual ICU patients or caregivers, with limited attention afforded to the relationship between patients and their spouses.This study aims to explore the dyadic coping experiences of ICU transfer patients and their spouses, with the goal of providing evidence to support the subsequent development of an individualized intervention program.A qualitative study using a phenomenological research approach was undertaken. Purposive sampling was employed to select participants for face‐to‐face semi‐structured in‐depth interviews. The interviews took place at a tertiary general hospital in Nanjing from January 2023 to February 2023.Twelve ICU transfer patients and their twelve spouses were interviewed. The data were then summarized, and themes were derived using the Colaizzi 7‐step analysis method.A total of four themes and eleven sub‐themes emerged from the analysis. The identified themes include positive coping (actively seeking solutions, and facing challenges together), negative coping (avoiding problems, displaying overprotective behaviour, and bearing the burden alone), difficulties and challenges (a lack of information, high physical and psychological stress, and significant financial burden), and needs and suggestions (strengthening transition care, fostering increased intimacy, and reducing negative emotions).Both patients and spouses experience physical and psychological stress during the transfer from the ICU to the ward. Therefore, any intervention developed for caregivers should be designed in a dyadic manner. Increasing dyadic coping skills may represent an important area for future research and intervention.This study provides valuable evidence to inform the formulation of a comprehensive dual disease management plan for ICU transfer patients and their spouses. In this study, visible‐light‐induced [3+2] cyclization reactions of hydrazones with hypervalent iodine diazo reagents as diazomethyl radical precursors are reported. Mild reaction conditions, a broad substrate scope, and excellent functional group compatibility were observed. Furthermore, the synthetic utility was demonstrated by gram‐scale synthesis and elaboration to several value‐added products. Guiding electromagnetic waves carrying spin angular momentum is an important issue in both optical and microwave communities that thus has intrigued enormous interest in the past few decades. In particular, asymmetrical propagation is seriously considered as a possibility to push the development of encryption communication and electromagnetic circulators, which is a hot area but still a challenge. Circular dichroism, referring to differential absorption of distinct polarization states, provides an alternative scheme to achieve asymmetric propagation in a spin‐correlated way. Here, a paradigm of obtaining broadband asymmetric reflection to push the exploration in this aspect is proposed. With this aim, an N‐shaped resonator loaded with two lumped resistors is designed as a meta‐atom to reveal the amplitude flipping of nearly 0 and 1 for distinct polarization states. Combining with Pancharatnam–Berry phases, the arbitrary phase profile of a designated spin state can be achieved. As a proof‐of‐principle, a robust meta‐mirror is fabricated to acquire broadband electromagnetic focusing under the illumination of left‐handed circularly polarized (LHCP) wave. On the other hand, the reflection of right‐handed circularly polarized (RHCP) wave is substantially suppressed. In this Letter, a multiscale kurtosis maps fusion method is proposed for small infrared target detection. The authors have made two main contributions: first, they propose the scheme of using multiscale kurtosis maps to match the shape and the size of the small target; second, they present a dot product operation to achieve the fusion of multiscale kurtosis maps. Experimental results show that the presented method has a higher background suppression factor and signal-to-clutter ratio gain values than that of compared baseline methods, and it works effectively and more stably in complex backgrounds. In this study, a radical‐triggered cyclization of o‐alkenyl aromatic isocyanides prepared from accessible starting materials is developed. The reaction provides a general and efficient method for the synthesis of 4‐CN‐2‐CF3/CF2H‐containing quinolines under copper or visible‐light photoredox catalysis in a one‐pot synthetic procedure. This study concentrates on the finite‐time (FT) formation control problem for a class of heterogeneous second‐order (SO) multi‐agent systems (MASs), where disturbance may exist in the dynamics of each agent and the communication graph is directed. First of all, a basic FT formation control protocol is proposed for the nominal SO MAS and the finite convergence time is calculated. To solve the FT formation control for a class of heterogeneous SO MASs without using global information, an adaptive FT formation control is then proposed. Amorphous purely organic phosphorescence materials with long‐lived and color‐tunable emission are rare. Herein, we report a concise chemical ionization strategy to endow conventional poly(4‐vinylpyridine) (PVP) derivatives with ultralong organic phosphorescence (UOP) under ambient conditions. After the ionization of 1,4‐butanesultone, the resulting PVP‐S phosphor showed a UOP lifetime of 578.36 ms, which is 525 times longer than that of PVP polymer itself. Remarkably, multicolor UOP emission ranging from blue to red was observed with variation of the excitation wavelength, which has rarely been reported for organic luminescent materials. This finding not only provides a guideline for developing amorphous polymers with UOP properties, but also extends the scope of room‐temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials for practical applications in photoelectric fields. MYCT1 is an important gene known to regulate cell viability and apoptosis of laryngeal cancer cells. However, the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. Here, we show that MAX enhances the expression of miR‐181a by directly binding to its promoter, whereas miR‐181a targets NPM1 and suppresses its expression in laryngeal cancer cells. MYCT1 and miR‐181a decrease cell viability and colony formation through enhanced apoptosis, whereas NPM1 displays opposite effects in laryngeal cancer cells. Their opposing functions are further supported by the findings (a) that miR‐181a is down‐regulated, while NPM1 is up‐regulated in laryngeal cancer, and (b) that either inhibition of miR‐181a or overexpression of NPM1 can revert the pro‐apoptotic effects of MYCT1 on laryngeal cancer cells through extracellular and intracellular apoptotic pathways. Our data suggest that MYCT1 may synergistically interact with MAX as a co‐transcription factor or a component of MAX transcriptional complex, to transcriptionally regulate the expression of miR‐181a, which, in turn, decreases NPM1 expression at post‐transcriptional levels, leading to enhanced apoptosis in laryngeal cancer cells. Our previous study showed that knocking down integrin α5 (ITGA5) expression by using a lentiviral vector in human dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) led to weakening proliferation and migration capacity while enhanced odontogenic differentiation. To seek for possible clinical application, we investigated the effect of the ITGA5 priming synthetic cyclic peptide (SCP; GA‐CRRETAWAC‐GA) on proliferation, migration, and the odontogenic differentiation of DPSCs. Remarkably, the involved mechanism was explored by isobaric tag for relative and absolute quantitation proteomic technique, and the in vivo effect of ITGA5 was investigated by nude mice subcutaneous transplantation of cell and hydroxyapatite/β‐tricalcium phosphate complex. Results showed that SCP weakened the proliferation and migration capacity while enhanced odontogenic differentiation of DPSCs as lentivirus. The phosphorylation of FAK, PI3K/AKT, and MEK1/2/ERK1/2, along with IGF2/IGFBP2 and Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway play an important role in this process. Proteomic Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analysis revealed the key role of extracellular matrix (ECM) and ECM‐receptor activity pathway were involved. ECM constituents, secreted protein acidic and cysteine‐rich (SPARC), lumican, vitronectin, prolargin, decorin, collagen type VI α1 chain (COL6A1), COL6A2, COL14A1, and COL5A1 were upregulated in the ITGA5‐silenced group. Inhibited expression of ITGA5 in DPSCs increased osteoid tissue formation and stronger related genes expression in vivo. In conclusion, the ITGA5 priming peptide could promote DPSCs odontogenic differentiation as lentivirus. Proteomics and bioinformatic analysis revealed that this may be due to the deposition of ECM and amplified ECM‐receptor activity, which could fuel the application process of utilizing priming ITGA5 on dental clinical practice. Human society has evolved to allow third parties—the court system, parents or other societal arbitrators—to punish norm violators and compensate victims. Few studies explore the effect of stress or time pressure on a third‐party judge. Under time pressure, people will likely show a more instinctual reaction or judgment style. We investigated third‐party punishment and compensation within the context of unfairly shared losses and gains in a dictator game under time pressure. Our results show that under no time pressure, participants were inclined to punish dictators who unfairly split windfall gains; however, participants chose to compensate victims more than punish the norm‐violating dictators in the context of unfairly shared losses. With added time pressure, third‐parties were disposed to inflict punishment upon the dictator in both the gain and loss contexts—punishment became the action of choice. Our results shed light on the way observed behavior and stress affect social cognition and decision making in the context of altruistic social interventions and the enforcement of social norms. SUMMARY: Thiamine functions as a crucial activator modulating plant health and broad‐spectrum stress tolerances. However, the role of thiamine in regulating plant virus infection is largely unknown. Here, we report that the multifunctional 17K protein encoded by barley yellow dwarf virus‐GAV (BYDV‐GAV) interacted with barley pyrimidine synthase (HvTHIC), a key enzyme in thiamine biosynthesis. HvTHIC was found to be localized in chloroplast via an N‐terminal 74‐amino acid domain. However, the 17K‐HvTHIC interaction restricted HvTHIC targeting to chloroplasts and triggered autophagy‐mediated HvTHIC degradation. Upon BYDV‐GAV infection, the expression of the HvTHIC gene was significantly induced, and this was accompanied by accumulation of thiamine and salicylic acid. Silencing of HvTHIC expression promoted BYDV‐GAV accumulation. Transcriptomic analysis of HvTHIC silenced and non‐silenced barley plants showed that the differentially expressed genes were mainly involved in plant–pathogen interaction, plant hormone signal induction, phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, starch and sucrose metabolism, photosynthesis‐antenna protein, and MAPK signaling pathway. Thiamine treatment enhanced barley resistance to BYDV‐GAV. Taken together, our findings reveal a molecular mechanism underlying how BYDV impedes thiamine biosynthesis to uphold viral infection in plants. Significance Statement: BYDV‐GAV 17K interacted with barley pyrimidine synthase (HvTHIC), blocked HvTHIC targeting to the chloroplast, and subsequently lead to autophagy‐mediated HvTHIC degradation to disrupt thiamine synthesis, thereby inhibited thiamine mediated defense pathways.
