Background and Aims: INTERCheckWEB is one of the most outstanding digital technologies, that could be implemented at the hospital level, supporting the clinicians in the evaluation of the therapy appropriateness, reducing the potentially inappropriate prescriptions, for the improvement of the clinical decision‐making process. The paper aims at investigating the relationship between clinicians' behaviors towards digital decision support system in therapy appropriateness for elderly patients in polytherapy in medical departments, defining the factors that could influence clinicians to use INTERCheckWEB, for supporting drugs' prescription. Methods: A questionnaire was administered to 70 clinicians referring to Internal Medicine wards, of four Italian hospitals. The authors assessed how perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, image, and output quality, would affect INTERCheckWeb intention to use. Inferential statistics, by means of a regression analysis, were conducted to define the main aspects useful to understand the factors impacting on such digital technology adoption in clinical practice. Results: The regression analysis reported that image, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, as well as the moderator effect of the voluntary use between the perceived usefulness and the intention to use, are the factors that most influence the use of INTERCheckWEB (adjusted R2 = 0.870). Conclusions: Results demonstrated that clinicians would use INTERCheckWEB, when available, to identify all the information on situations that could be dangerous for the patients, thus limiting the drug–drug interactions, optimizing the overall patient's clinical pathway. Furthermore, the implementation of INTERCheckWEB could also contribute to the proper management of COVID‐19 patients, since both hospitalized and symptomatic COVID‐19 patients are frequently older, with comorbidities. National and International road networks are made of structures and infrastructures that often exhibit poor performance due to a lack of maintenance. In this context, Italy recently renewed the legislation regarding existing infrastructure analysis to support knowledge and facilitate a homogeneous data acquisition process. Thus a key component of the process consists of the visual inspection protocols complemented by physical and mechanical measures. This applies to all the structures built for the road network operation, including those classified as geotechnical whose deterioration is often neglected or appropriately surveyed. Along with the definition of a data form for collecting datasets on these aspects, a relevant aspect of the process is the implementation of a collaborative environment for the information management and analysis systems supporting the interested parties in the field. The paper reports the design of a base geotechnical inspection form for Retaining Wall and illustrates some aspects of its implementation in a digital environment. Mixed Reality techniques in combination with web‐based tools for data collection are investigated to increase the feasibility and reliability of the visual inspection of existing road networks. This article examines differences in home computer and internet access among Italian households between 2005 and 2016. The results indicate that while computer and internet penetration has increased across all educational levels and geographical areas, digital inequalities related to education still persist and are substantial, especially in the South. Additionally, the findings suggest that the digital gap at the bottom of the education distribution is widening over time. Access among households whose reference person has primary education or less lags behind that of households with lower secondary education. Policy measures to promote and support the adoption of digital technologies among the most educationally disadvantaged households may need to be strengthened. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
