Escalations in economic development and the concomitant upsurge in social globalization (SG) in the largest economies have enhanced the utilization of fossil fuels, which in turn has stimulated carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Given that reducing global warming is one of the essential means to disrupt climate change and attain sustainable development, this study examines the interlinkages between SG, energy transition (ENTR), international tourism (ITU), and CO2 emissions. As environmental issues are widespread in the largest economies, this investigation analyzed the data from the 10 largest economies using the Method of Moments Quantiles Regression (MM‐QR) from 1995 to 2020. The study found that ENTR plays a significant role in decreasing emissions and promoting environmental sustainability. Alongside this, increasing social globalization also curbs CO2 emissions and facilitates environmental sustainability. Apart from this, the findings demonstrate a progressively increasing contribution of ITU and economic growth to enhancing environmental degradation. Furthermore, results indicated that carbon emissions are not influenced by reductions in political risks in the member nations. The abundance of natural resources (NRR) is often regarded as a double‐edged sword, with the potential to promote or hinder sustainable development. Nevertheless, it is imperative to effectively manage the resources to ensure their sustainability and minimize their detrimental economic and environmental effects. Environmental regulations of nations and a structural shift towards more advanced and knowledge‐intensive modes of production can substantially contribute to this objective. Using a holistic index of sustainable development, this study aims to explore the interplay between NRR, economic complexity (ECI), environmental regulations, economic globalization, and sustainable development in 25 European Union (EU) countries from 1995 to 2019. The empirical results from the Method of Moments Quantile Regression (MM‐QR) reveal a negative relationship between NRR and sustainable development, supporting the hypothesis of the resource curse. Conversely, the study demonstrates that ECI and environmental regulations drive sustainable development. Furthermore, economic globalization is found to have a detrimental effect on sustainable development. Finally, panel causality results revealed causal links from NRR, ECI, and environmental regulations to sustainable development. Meanwhile, ECI and environmental regulations have a causal impact on NRR. Our key findings lead towards the manifestation and emphasis of the importance of appropriate policies for the sustainable utilization of NRR and, concurrently, underscore the significance of environmental regulations and ECI in the pursuit of sustainable development in EU countries. In recent decades, the detrimental impacts of climate change have been increasingly felt worldwide. This is due to the extreme consumption of natural resources to fuel economic activity. Confronting a widening ecological deficit, humanity must urgently accelerate its journey toward sustainable development goals (SDGs). This demands active efforts to curb environmental pollution and protect natural resources, safeguarding the planet for future generations. Since Brazil has high biocapacity and ecological areas, the impact of energy resources on ecological sustainability policies cannot be excluded. Moreover, Brazil holds a vital position in the world for global foreign direct investment flows. In this regard, this paper considers the asymmetric impact of mineral rents and foreign direct investments when investigating Brazil's environmental sustainability. In addition, it evaluates elements like economic growth and low‐carbon energy consumption from 1970 to 2021. To this end, the research applies the Fourier nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag model and draws three significant conclusions. First, resource extraction undermines environmental sustainability. Second, the inflow of foreign direct investment reduces the load capacity factor, implying that the pollution haven hypothesis holds for Brazil. Third, low‐carbon energy consumption contributes to environmental sustainability. Our findings highlight the critical role of regulating mineral resource rents in achieving SDGs in Brazil. Moreover, increasing investment in clean energy sources and transitioning toward low‐carbon energy can promote sustainable development in Brazil. The Brazilian government should abandon mineral extraction, focus on low‐carbon energy consumption, and prevent companies from destroying nature by introducing strict environmental regulations for foreign investment flows. This empirical analysis aims to probe the impact of geopolitical risk (GPR) and economic policy uncertainty (EPU) on green growth (GG) in China. In order to achieve this, we make use of time series data from 1990 to 2020. We adopt the novel wavelet quantile correlation (WQC) approach to report time‐varying results across quantiles. The key findings from the novel WQC approach delineate that EPU and GPR impede GG in the short‐ and long‐run, whereas, EPU and GPR promote GG in the medium‐run. Key Clinical Message: Sarcoidosis‐induced LETM represents a rare but life‐threatening neurological manifestation of sarcoidosis, characterized by spinal cord inflammation, and associated neurological deficits. Sarcoidosis should be included in the differential diagnosis of LETM, particularly in patients with no lung involvement. Prompt recognition and management are obligatory to optimize outcomes and prevent long‐term disability. Sarcoidosis is a multisystem inflammatory granulomatous disorder characterized by the formation of noncaseating granulomas. Although sarcoidosis commonly affects the skin, lymph nodes, and lungs, neurological involvement of sarcoidosis has also been reported. Longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) is a rare but well‐documented serious manifestation of neuroscoidosis. We report a case of LETM caused by sarcoidosis in a 53‐year‐old male who presented with progressive bilateral lower extremity weakness, urinary retention, and paresthesia. Laboratory evaluations revealed elevated inflammatory markers. Magnetic resonance imaging of the spine showed hyperintense signals consistent with transverse myelitis. Cerebrospinal fluid analysis revealed lymphocytic pleocytosis and elevated protein levels. Chest computed tomography showed hilar lymphadenopathy. A biopsy of the intrathoracic lymph node showed noncaseating granulomas consistent with sarcoidosis. A diagnosis of sarcoidosis‐induced LETM was made after ruling out all other possible etiologies. His condition improved gradually after starting high‐dose prednisone, mycophenolate, and rehabilitation strategies. Our case underscores the importance of prompt diagnosis and management of sarcoidosis‐induced LETM and highlights that sarcoidosis must be included among differential diagnoses of LETM, especially in cases with no lung involvement. The escalating levels of CO2 emissions from the transportation sector have been observed to exert deleterious effects on human well‐being and environmental sustainability. To mitigate these emissions, it is imperative to consider the potential contributions of environmental policies and financial innovation. Thus, this study examines the effects of financial innovation and environmental policy (environmental tax–environmental technology) on transport‐related CO2 emission (TCO2E) for BICS (i.e., Brazil, India, China and South Africa), which are characterized by substantial industrialization, rising TCO2E and growing environmental concerns. The analysis is complemented by including control variables, notably economic growth and the transition to cleaner energy, to offer a nuanced and holistic perspective on the dynamics governing this critical subject matter. The research adopts a novel econometric approach cross‐sectionally augmented auto‐regressive distributed lags for benchmark estimation and fully modified ordinary least squares–dynamic ordinary least squares for robustness analysis from 2000/Q1‐2018/Q4. The findings revealed that financial innovation and economic growth bolster TCO2E and decrease environmental quality in the region. In contrast, environmental tax, environmental innovation and energy transition decrease TCO2E. The augmented resource consumption, higher demand for resources, and limited supply promote a major resource crisis in a number of the largest economies. This crisis upsurges the ecological footprint (EF) augmenting the process of resource depletion and enhancing ecological degradation. Against this backdrop, this investigation aims to apprehend the interplay between environmental policy, socioeconomic conditions (SEC), financial globalization (FG), renewable energy (RN), and the EF within the top 10 economies. Driven by their massive economic growth, the top 10 economies have become entangled in a vicious cycle of resource consumption and environmental degradation. To understand these relationships, the Method of Moments Quantile Regression (MM‐QR) is adopted, which helps to identify the impacts of regressors on EF from 2000 to 2021. The findings of this analysis denote that environmental taxes (ETX) reduce the EF in the context of top economies without much variation. RN bolsters reductions in the EF, displaying an escalating impact that ranges from the 10th to the 90th quantiles. FG reduces the EF across various quantiles, with its effects stimulating from lower to upper quantiles. The findings did not reveal any statistically significant effects of SEC on the EF. Additionally, the study observed a U‐shaped relationship between EF and economic growth, indicating a potential escalation of environmental issues with further development in the upcoming years. Germany has set an ambitious goal of meeting the recommendations of COP‐26 and reducing its carbon intensity to zero by 2045. Germany is a leader in environmental patents after the United States, Japan, and South Korea, and the environmental implications of Germany's leadership in eco‐innovation hold important clues for achieving net zero goals. In particular, the European Union is one of the global communities making the greatest efforts to combat emissions, and the success of the leading role of environmental patents in this Union in reducing CO2 emissions is an important research topic for scholars. Therefore, this study investigates the impact of environmental patents on CO2 emissions under the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis in Germany. To this end, the study applies Bayer–Hanck and Fourier ADL approaches from 1970 to 2019. The main findings do not confirm the EKC hypothesis, while environmental patents play an active role in CO2 reduction. Based on these outcomes, Germany should consider a long‐term green policy to decouple economic growth and emissions. Changing economic situation of a country affects working capital by influencing lenders' financing abilities, firms' business activities, and managers' decisions. Hence, this paper explores the influence of macroeconomic factors in the relationship between working capital financing and firm performance over the period of 2000–2018. Applying the two‐step generalized methods of moments, we found a non‐linear and inverted U‐shaped relationship between working capital finance (WCF) and firm performance, significantly influenced by the macroeconomic indicators that is, gross domestic product (GDP) growth, Inflation rate, and interest rate. We segregated the data regarding the global financial recession period 2008–2010 and disclosed that the non‐linear and inverted U‐shaped relationship between WCF and firm performance turns to linear and negative during this recession period. We also evaluated the role of GDP growth, inflation, and interest rate in WCF and firm performance relationship during the global recession and found that these factors do not influence the nexus during this period. Firm managers, lending agencies, and researchers may use these results in choosing the best financing options in working capital under the changing situation of macroeconomic factors. Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder that occurs due to impaired secretion of insulin, insulin resistance, or both. Recent studies show that the antidiabetic drugs used to control hyperglycemic levels are associated with undesirable adverse effects. Therefore, developing a safe and effective medicine with antidiabetic potential is needed. In this context, in silico studies are considered a rapid, effectual, and cost‐effective method in drug discovery procedures. It is evident from the literature that plant‐based natural components have shown promising outcomes in drug development to alleviate various diseases and hence have diversified the screening of potential antidiabetic agents. Purposely, in the present study, an in silico approach was performed on three Punica granatum peel metabolites (punicalin, punicalagin, and ellagic acid). All these three compounds were docked against nine protein targets involved in glucose metabolism (GFAT, PTP1β, PPAR‐ᵞ, TKIR, RBP4, α‐amylase, α‐glucosidase, GCK, and AQP‐2). These three pomegranate‐specific compounds demonstrated significant interactions with GFAT, PTP1β, PPAR‐ᵞ, TKIR, RBP4, α‐amylase, α‐glucosidase, GCK, and AQP‐2 protein targets. Specifically, punicalin, punicalagin, and ellagic acid revealed significant binding scores (−9.2, −9.3, −8.1, −9.1, −8.5, −11.3, −9.2, −9.5, −10.1 kcal/mol; −10, −9.9, −8.5, −8.9, −10.4, −9.0, −10.2, −9.4, −9.0 kcal/mol; and −8.1, −8.0, −8.0, −6.8, −8.7, −7.8, −8.3, −8.1, −8.1 kcal/mol, respectively), with nine protein targets mentioned above. Hence, punicalin, punicalagin, and ellagic acid can be promising candidates in drug discovery to manage diabetes. The study was designed to assess the geostatistical spatial distribution of anemia and determinant factors among the women of reproductive age group (RAG) in Gilgit district, Pakistan. The Hb levels for 15–25 RAG, 26–35 RAG, and 36–45 group showed 10.22 g/dL, 10.41 g/dL, and 9.90 g/dL levels, respectively, while the Hb level showed a nugget/sill ratio of 0.21 inferring strong for the 15–25 group, weak for the 26–36, and moderate for 36–45 spatial dependence. Furthermore, 15–25 RAG showed 8% severe and 33.34% sufficient cases and 26–35 showed 12% severe and 29.33% sufficient results in their Hb level, whereas 36–45 had 9.34% severe and 29.33% sufficient. Energy insecurity and unsustainable development associated with traditional energy consumption are major challenges for nations. In this context, finding the different parameters that could influence energy use is essential for sustainable development strategies. Unquestionably, the economic structure of nations can influence energy usage; however, the limited literature on this topic delved into the impact of economic complexity on non‐renewable energy usage. Hence, this study extends the literature and tests the effect of knowledge‐based economic structure (economic complexity) on renewable and non‐renewable energy consumption in 14 European Union countries from 1990 to 2017 using the methods robust against both heterogeneity and cross‐sectional dependence. The long‐run empirical results established that economic complexity increases renewable energy and decreases non‐renewable energy use. Also, economic complexity Granger causes non‐renewable energy while feedback effect exists between renewable energy and economic complexity. Thermo‐electrochemical monitoring of state‐of‐the‐art rechargeable Li‐ion batteries during operation is critical for safety and reliability, yet it remains quite limited, relying on conventional full cell measurements with in situ techniques lagging behind. Here, the feasibility of incorporating Au, LiFePO4, and TiO2 electrochemical sensors into commercially available pouch cells, in conjunction with thermocouples to track the cell behavior during galvanostatic cycling at varying operating temperatures is demonstrated. It is found that Au provides the best in operando based electrochemical diagnostics for stable thermo‐electrochemical performance via long‐term cyclability (>1000 h), differential capacity curves, and at 25, 40, and 60 °C, followed by TiO2, and LiFePO4. Furthermore, cell temperature changes are analyzed alongside reference electrode readings, demonstrating the advantages of the complementary nature of these techniques for cell thermodynamics. The role of vitamin D in improving maternal health and reducing the risk of developmental disorders in fetus has been an important domain of research since the past few years. Vitamin D, owing to its immunomodulatory, anti‐inflammatory, developmental roles, and regulating calcium homeostasis, is predicted to have a significant influence on maternal and fetal health status. Several observational studies and clinical trials, determining the impact of vitamin D on gestational diabetes, C‐section, postpartum depression, pre‐eclampsia, miscarriages, and preterm delivery, have been elaborated in this review. In addition, fetal birth defects including neurological development, reduced birth weight, respiratory infections, bone development, and altered anthropometrics have also been summarized with available evidences. Other important mechanisms related to the roles of vitamin D in the body are also explained. Furthermore, recent studies determining the effect of vitamin D at genetic level will also help in understanding and future design of research in the area of maternal and fetal health. Countries enact environmental regulations to achieve sustainable development and ecological sustainability. However, environmental regulations do not guarantee environmental sustainability unless implemented efficiently. Furthermore, political institutions play a key role in the formulation and management of environmental regulations. This research examines the relationship between democracy, environmental regulations, economic growth, and ecological footprint (EF) in the panel of G7 nations from 1985 to 2017. Second generation econometric techniques are used to analyze the data. The empirical evidence indicates that economic growth enhances EF while democracy and environmental regulations positively contribute to ecological sustainability by reducing EF. The causal outcomes reveal that democracy Granger causes EF and renewable energy indicating that democracy curbs environmental degradation and stimulates the share of renewables. Further, democracy and environmental regulations Granger cause each other. Lastly, the implication of these findings for sustainable development and ecological sustainability are discussed. Summary: Today's consumers demand clean‐label healthy products to which no artificial preservatives have been added. Distribution of fresh, safe raw meat or meat products requires reduced numbers of bacteria on its surface when it leaves the processing plant under strict maintenance of low temperatures throughout the supply chain. Means of controlling or even improving the food integrity aim to decontaminate the carcasses or products during or at the end of the production line. In the past decades, high‐pressure processing (HPP) has been investigated as an alternative non‐thermal preservation technology to match all these demands without compromising safety. HPP treatments could efficiently inactivate the vegetative microorganisms (related to foodborne diseases), but not spores. Despite growing demand for Li‐ion batteries in the portable, industrial, and electric vehicle markets, the performance and safety monitoring of these state‐of‐the‐art rechargeable cells is quite limited, relying on conventional full‐cell measurements with in situ reference electrode technologies lagging behind in application. Herein, for the first time a long‐term (>2000 h) stable Ti‐based reference electrode is reported, and a new design enabling impact‐free implementation into pouch. The methodology can also be used with other reference electrode materials. Various electrochemical characterization techniques are used to verify the usability and stability of the developed reference electrode, in turn enabling monitoring of individual electrode cycling performance and open circuit potential (OCP) via the galavanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT) and differential capacity analysis. Green technology (GT) and the utilization of renewable energy (RE) are widely acknowledged as a catalyst for energy efficiency, economic growth, and a tool for combating environmental degradation. Although various studies have examined the ecological repercussions of these two improvements, they have primarily used traditional pollution indicators (namely, carbon emissions and ecological footprint) and ignored nations with the highest cleaner energy adoption. To bridge this gap, the present research seeks to analyze the relationship between GT, RE consumption, economic growth, trade, and load capacity factor in the top‐10 renewable economies. In addition to environmental pollution indicators, the study utilizes the load capacity factor as a novel proxy for environmental quality and investigates the load capacity curve hypothesis using the Cross‐sectional‐autoregressive distributed lag model from 1990 to 2021. According to the empirical findings, all explanatory variables have a significant long‐term effect on the load capacity. More precisely, GT and RE consumption contribute to the sustainability of the ecosystem, while trade increases the ecological deficit. Furthermore, the findings do not support the validity of the load capacity curve hypothesis, implying that the environmental restorative benefits of economic well‐being may not manifest in the latter stages of economic growth. Given these findings, policymakers in the top‐10 renewable economies should seize the environmental prospects offered by GT and RE and update trade and growth policies in a way that promotes biocapacity while simultaneously reducing the ecological footprint to reach the long‐term sustainable development goals (SDGs), particularly SDGs 7 and 13. Renewable energy, resource efficiency, and globalization are recognized as pivotal factors in the pursuit of environmental sustainability. This study's novelty lies in examining the impact of resource efficiency, the influence of globalization, and the adoption of renewable energy sources on energy‐related CO2 emissions in the United States spanning the years from 1990 to 2020 is the focus of this study. Additionally, this investigation leveraged a diverse range of time‐frequency‐quantile techniques, encompassing quantile‐on‐quantile regressions, wavelet coherence, cross quantile coherence, wavelet‐based quantile correlation, and quantile regression, which is an additional novel aspect of this study. The findings of this research indicate that resource efficiency, the utilization of renewable energy sources, and the forces of globalization collectively contribute to enhancing ecological sustainability by reducing energy‐related CO2 in the United States across a range of quantiles, time periods, and temporal contexts. The study posits that these findings offer a comprehensive framework that can guide policymakers in the United States toward taking tangible measures to advance ecological sustainability while curbing energy‐related CO2 emissions. Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common public health occurrence of pregnancy which is particularly prevalent in developing countries like Pakistan. During this critical period, the deficiency of iron is very common as the iron requirements are greatly enhanced. IDA during pregnancy is associated with intrauterine growth retardation, premature birth, low birthweight, increased labor time, higher risk of infection, elevated maternal and prenatal mortality, muscle dysfunction, and low physical capacity. The present study was aimed to check the prevalence, effect of diet on IDA and its association with the pregnancy outcome, that is, birthweight. Five different public sector hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were analyzed. A sample size of 500 pregnant females of third trimester was observed which were then followed after delivery from September 2020 to January 2021. A well‐designed questionnaire was developed where different demographic factors, dietary recalls, biomarkers, and other determinants were obtained. The data from the questionnaires were later coded for the purpose of analysis in the statistical package (SPSS) using chi‐square test. Our study indicated that IDA is a moderate public health problem among pregnant women in twin cities and more than half of study subjects have depleted iron stores. Approximately 63% of the subjects were having iron deficiency and 24.8% were facing severe iron deficiency anemia. Only 12% of the subjects were considered as normal. The high prevalence of anemia in our subjects was probably due to low iron intake and poor dietary habits. The results of the study may not be generalizable due to time constraints and other factors. Higher dietary intake of calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and vitamin D has been associated with reduced risk of type 2 diabetes (T2DM), and a higher intracellular ratio of Ca to Mg leads to insulin resistance. Previous epidemiological studies did not examine the combined effects of dietary Ca, Mg, and vitamin D as well as ratio of Ca to Mg with T2DM. Therefore, we assessed the relationship between dietary intakes of Mg, Ca, and vitamin D (using 24‐hr recalls) individually and in composite and T2DM in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2007–2014, which involved 20,480 adults (9,977 men and 10,503 women) with comprehensive information on related nutrients, and anthropometric, demographic, and biomarker variables using multivariable logistic regression. The results indicated that dietary calcium at Q3 (812 mg/day) was significantly linked with T2DM in women (OR: 1.30; 95% CI: 1.02, 1.65). Dietary vitamin D at Q3 (5.25 μg/day) significantly reduced the odds of T2DM by 21% in men (OR: 0.79; 95% CI: 0.64, 0.98). This is an interesting study that has important implications for dietary recommendations. It is concluded that US adults having dietary Ca below the RDA were associated with increased risk of T2DM in all population and women, while higher ratio of Ca to Mg was associated with increased risk of T2DM in all population and increased vitamin D intake is related to decreased risk of T2DM in men. This study was designed to explore the impacts of the pulsed electric field (PEF; 2 to 6 kV/cm; a number of pulses 25 and 50) on wheat (Tritium aestivum L.) seeds before imbibition to improve the germination, growth, and their nutritional profile in juice form. It was observed that the PEF treatment at 6 kV/cm at 50 pulses increased water uptake, germination of seeds, and growth parameters of seedlings. A significant increase in total phenolic contents, DPPH, chlorophylls, carotenoids, soluble proteins, minerals, and amino acids in PEF‐treated seeds plantlets juice as compared to the untreated seeds plantlets juice was observed. The results indicate that the PEF may effectively stimulate the growth of the wheat kernels and positively affect their metabolism, optimize the nutrients, and enhance the strength of the wheat kernels plantlets. International trade (TRADE), urbanization (URB), and nonrenewable energy consumption (NRE) can pose significant impacts on environmental quality and economic growth. In addition, TRADE and URB can influence the transition to cleaner energy within an economy. China is one of the largest economies with a massive contribution to global carbon emissions. Thus, there is a need for a comprehensive study that could explore the interrelationships between TRADE, URB, NRE, and environmental quality to assist economic and environmental policymaking in the country. This study explores these relationships and also reveals the precise threshold levels that these factors should not exceed to protect the environment and promote sustainability. The time series data from the Chinese economy from 1980 to 2021 are analyzed by using the Multivariate Threshold Regression (MThR) model. The findings revealed that TRADE has a detrimental impact on environmental quality in the low regime whereas a positive effect in the high regime. In contrast, NRE negatively affects the environment in both regimes, while URB positively influences the environmental quality in both regimes. Furthermore, the threshold levels of variables required to influence sustainability and promote environmental quality were revealed as 46.74% of GDP for TRADE, 45.20% of the total population for URB, and 23448.2TWh for NRE. Moreover, TRADE leads the transition from traditional to modern energy consumption, while URB does not play a leading role in the energy transition. The effects of the pulsed electric field (PEF) on the rheological, structural, and physicochemical properties of almond milk were evaluated. Results indicated that there was a significant increase in electrical conductivity, cloud value, and cloud stability, while a significant decrease was observed in viscosity and nonenzymatic browning after PEF treatments. The particle size was significantly reduced and monodisperse distributions were observed, particle size reduction further confirmed by Scanning Electron Microscopy. Whiteness Index, clarity, and physical stability of samples were improved, without affecting either protein stability or viscosity. The rheological behavior of all samples was described using a Herschel–Bulky model. PEF treatments increased the apparent viscosity and changed the consistency index (K). The denaturation temperatures and apparent enthalpy of almond milk samples were modified by PEF treatments. This study indicated that dispersive and aggregative properties of PEF treated almond milk were different due to differences in particle coagulation, protein denaturation and morphological characteristic of aggregates. Practical applications: Now a day, green processing techniques, such as PEF is used for processing the different types of beverages. The outcomes of the recent study described that PEF treatment could improve the physicochemical properties, reduce the particle, physical stability, and whiteness index of almond milk. Achieving sustainable development while mitigating environmental degradation is a pressing global challenge. Economic development, accompanied by industrialization, fossil fuel consumption, and unsustainable use of natural resources, is widely identified in the literature as a leading cause of environmental degradation. Green energy transition (GET) and economic complexity—the shift towards more advanced and knowledge‐driven manufacturing, can be crucial strategies in reducing ecological degradation and helping countries achieve climate change mitigation targets. Green finance can play an important role in environmental sustainability, while geopolitical risk can impede countries' climate mitigation efforts. In this context, this study investigates the impact of GET, economic complexity, green finance, and geopolitical risk on the ecological footprint in OECD countries from 1995 to 2021. These four critical factors are integrated into the same environmental policy framework due to their potential to influence environmental sustainability in OECD economies. The study employed the Method of Moments Quantile Regression to provide robust estimates across different quantiles. The empirical outcomes unveiled that GET significantly reduces the ecological footprint across all quantiles. The economic complexity posed a significant and negative impact across all quantiles except at the lower quantile (τ = 0.10). Green finance also poses a negative impact, indicating its effectiveness in promoting environmental sustainability. However, geopolitical risk exacerbates the ecological footprint. The control variables, GDP and urbanization, are found to increase the ecological footprint. In terms of policy implications, this study suggests that policymakers should focus on increasing the share of green energy, fostering economic complexity and green finance, and mitigating geopolitical tensions to reduce the ecological footprint and achieve environmental sustainability in OECD nations.
