Objective: The present study evaluated the oral tissue expression of micro‐RNA (miRNAs) linked to the potential malignant evolution of oral lichen planus (OLP). Furthermore, the correlation between OLP severity and miRNAs expression was assessed, and possible predictors of miRNAs in OLP patients were identified. Methods: The present study enrolled 41 patients with OLP (median age 58 years) and 42 healthy controls (median age 59 years). In each patient, miRNA levels (miR‐7a‐3p,‐7a2‐3p,‐7a‐5p,‐21‐3p,‐21‐5p,‐100‐3p,‐100‐5p,‐125b‐2‐3p,‐125b‐5p,‐200b‐3p,‐200b‐5p) were assessed and analyzed through reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Clinical parameters and the eventual presence of OLP symptoms, signs, and disease severity scores in each patient were reported using an anamnestic questionnaire. Results: In comparison with healthy controls, OLP patients showed significantly higher miR‐7a‐3p,‐7a‐2‐3p,‐21‐3p, miR‐21‐5p and miR‐100‐5p levels (p < 0.05) and significantly lower miR‐125b‐2‐3p,‐125b‐5p,‐200b‐3p, and ‐200b‐5p levels (p < 0.05). Furthermore, OLP symptoms and signs and disease severity scores were significantly correlated and were also predictors of all analyzed miRNAs (p < 0.05). Conclusions: In comparison with healthy subjects, OLP patients exhibited unbalanced oral miRNAs expression linked to the risk of potential malignant evolution of OLP. This study aims to develop, characterize, and evaluate the best statin‐loaded Collagen Silver nanoparticle‐coated polycaprolactone nanofibers by electrospinning technique. The characterization and evaluation results reveal that nanofibers had shown an aligned Collagen Silver nanoparticle‐coated polycaprolactone nanofibers distribution of fibers and aliment of collagen and silver nanoparticle coating material on the surface of the nanofibers. Furthermore, the electrospun nanofibers have shown no interaction between the drug and collagen and PCL polymeric material and have demonstrated controlled drug release for 360 h and significant degradation for 60 days of the study. In vitro, among the nanofiber treatment groups and the control groups, Pravastatin Collagen Silver nanoparticle‐coated polycaprolactone nanofibers have shown cell proliferation and migration of NHDF cells and blood vessel development in the CAM assay and potential anti‐bacterial activity against S. aureus and E. coli. In vivo, the Pravastatin Collagen Silver nanoparticle‐coated polycaprolactone nanofibers have demonstrated improved wound recovery, re‐epithelization, fibroblast cell proliferation, angiogenesis, and ECM remodeling and enhanced VEGF‐sprouting in the excised tissues of streptozotocin‐induced diabetic rats for 7, 14, and 21 days of the study. Therefore, the developed Pravastatin Collagen Silver nanoparticle‐coated polycaprolactone nanofibers could be a promising wound‐dressing platform for effectively treating and managing diabetic wounds. Recent technological advances in the medical field have increased the plausibility of exposing humans to high‐intensity wavelength radiations like x‐rays and gamma rays while diagnosing or treating specific medical maladies. These radiations induce nucleotide changes and chromosomal alterations in the exposed population, intentionally or accidentally. A radiological investigation is regularly used in identifying the disease, especially by the technicians working in intensive care units. The current study observes the genetic damages like chromosomal abnormalities (CA) in clinicians who are occupationally exposed to high‐intensity radiations (x‐rays) at their workplaces using universal cytogenetic tools like micronucleus assay (MN), sister chromatid exchange and comet assay. The study was conducted between 100 exposed practitioners from the abdominal scanning, chest scanning, cranial and orthopedic or bone scanning department and age‐matched healthy controls. We observed a slightly higher rate of MN and CA (p <.05) in orthopedic and chest department practitioners than in other departments concerning increasing age and duration of exposure at work. Intense present work is directed on the fabrication and application of Poly (serine) modified graphite carbon nanotube composite paste electrode (PSR/CNTPE) for determining the Riboflavin (RF). The surface qualities of the projected sensor were observed by Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE‐SEM) and the conductivity by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) method. The electrochemical redox activity of the PSR/CNTPE to RF was investigated through Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV). Outcomes displays that Poly (serine) in CNTPE enhanced the catalytic performance of the electrode towards the redox reaction of RF. The voltammetric response of PSR/CNTPE exhibited linear dependence for extended concentration range of RF from 6 μM to 50 μM with lower detection limit of 3.4×10−8 M.The PSR/CNTPE revealed to be reproducible, highly stable and successfully validated for the pharmaceutical, beverage and milk samples. The fabricated electrode was conducive and displayed two well‐separated oxidation signals for the solution containing two vitamins RF and Folic Acid (FA). The novel coronavirus Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus‐2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) or COVID‐19 has caused a worldwide pandemic. The fatal virus has affected the health of human beings as well as the socio‐economic situation all over the world. To date, no concrete medicinal solution has been proposed to combat the viral infection, calling for an urgent, strategic, and cost‐effective drug development approach that may be achievable by applying targeted computational and virtual screening protocols. Immunity is the body's natural defense against disease‐causing pathogens, which can be boosted by consuming plant‐based or natural food products. Active constituents derived from natural sources also scavenge the free radicals and have anti‐inflammatory activities. Herbs and spices have been used for various medicinal purposes. In this study, 2,96 365 natural and synthetic derivatives (ligands) belonging to 102 classes of compounds were obtained from PubChem and assessed on Lipinski's parameters for their potential bioavailability. Out of all the derivatives, 3254 obeyed Lipinski's rule and were virtually screened. The 115 top derivatives were docked against SARS‐CoV‐2, SARS‐CoV, MERS‐CoV, and HCoV‐HKV1 main proteases (Mpros) as receptors using AutoDock Vina, AutoDock, and iGEMDOCK 2.1. The lowest binding energy was exhibited by ligands 2 and 6 against all the four Mpros. The molecular dynamic simulation was also performed with ligand 6 using the GROMACS package. Good bioactivity scores, absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity profile and drug‐like pharmacokinetic parameters were also obtained. ABSTRACT A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method was developed and validated to determine S-(−)- and R-(+)-propranolol in rat serum. Enantiomeric resolution was achieved on cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) immobilized onto spherical porous silica chiral stationary phase (CSP) known as Chiralpak IB. A simple analytical method was validated using a mobile phase consisted of n-hexane-ethanol-triethylamine (95:5:0.4%, v/v/v) at a flow rate of 0.6 mL min-1 and fluorescence detection set at excitation/emission wavelengths 290/375 nm. The calibration curves were linear over the range of 10-400 ng mL-1 ( R = 0.999) for each enantiomer with a detection limit of 3 ng mL-1. The proposed method was validated in compliance with ICH guidelines in terms of linearity, accuracy, precision, and quantitation, and other aspects of analytical validation. Actual quantification could be made for propranolol isomers in serum obtained from rats that had been intraperitoneally (i.p.) administered a single dose of the drug. The proposed method established in this study is simple and sensitive enough to be adopted in the fields of clinical and forensic toxicology. studies including energy minimization and docking studies were first performed to illustrate the mechanism by which the active enantiomer binds to the β-adrenergic receptor and second to find a suitable interpretation of how both enantiomers are interacting with cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) CSP during the process of resolution. LysR-type transcriptional regulators (LTTRs) play critical roles in metabolism and constitute the largest family of bacterial regulators. To understand protein-DNA interactions, atomic structures of the DNA-binding domain and linker-helix regions of a prototypical LTTR, BenM, were determined by X-ray crystallography. BenM structures with and without bound DNA reveal a set of highly conserved amino acids that interact directly with DNA bases. At the N-terminal end of the recognition helix (α3) of a winged-helix-turn-helix DNA-binding motif, several residues create hydrophobic pockets (Pro30, Pro31 and Ser33). These pockets interact with the methyl groups of two thymines in the DNA-recognition motif and its complementary strand, T-N11-A. This motif usually includes some dyad symmetry, as exemplified by a sequence that binds two subunits of a BenM tetramer (ATAC-N7-GTAT). Gln29 forms hydrogen bonds to adenine in the first position of the recognition half-site (ATAC). Another hydrophobic pocket defined by Ala28, Pro30 and Pro31 interacts with the methyl group of thymine, complementary to the base at the third position of the half-site. Arg34 interacts with the complementary base of the 3′ position. Arg53, in the wing, provides AT-tract recognition in the minor groove. The title compound, C12H14N2O3S, crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules (A and B) in the asymmetric unit. The five-membered imidazolidin-2-one rings in both mol-ecules are twisted about the C-C bond. In the crystal, the A and B mol-ecules are associated via pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming A-B dimers. These dimers are linked via C-H⋯S hydrogen bonds, forming double dimers, which are in turn linked via C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming two-dimensional networks lying parallel to (001). There are also C-H⋯π inter-actions present, which consolide the layers and link them, so forming a three-dimensional structure.

In the title compound, C(23)H(17)ClN(2)O(3), the quinazoline fused-ring system, including the ring-bound carbonyl-O and methyl-C atoms, is close to being planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.044 Å) and is essentially orthogonal to both the 2-tolyl ring [dihedral angle = 89.51 (8)°] and to the ester group [the C-O-C-C torsion angle = -103.69 (16)°]. The carboxyl-ate group is almost coplanar with the benzene ring to which it is attached [O-C-C-C torsion angle = -4.7 (2)°]. The 2-tolyl ring system is disordered over two orientations in a 0.871 (3):0.129 (3) ratio. In the crystal, mol-ecules are consolidated into a three-dimensional architecture by C-H⋯Cl, C-H⋯O, C-H⋯N, C-H⋯π and π-π inter-actions [inter-centroid distances = 3.6443 (9) and 3.8557 (11) Å].

The five-membered ring in the title imidazolidinone derivative, C(11)H(12)N(2)O(2)S, adopts an envelope conformation with the S-bound C atom being the flap atom. Overall, the mol-ecule has a U-shaped conformation as both rings are folded towards each other [dihedral angle = 31.66 (6)°]. An eight-membered amide {⋯HNCO}(2) synthon leads to hydrogen-bonded dimeric aggregates in the crystal: these are additionally linked by C-H⋯π inter-actions.

The asymmetric unit in the title thio-urea derivative, C(13)H(19)N(3)S, comprises three independent mol-ecules (A, B and C). The thio-urea groups are superimposable for the three mol-ecules, but there are significant conformational differences. Mol-ecules A and B are approximate mirror images of each other, and mol-ecule C has an inter-mediate conformation. The dihedral angles between the thio-urea groups and the phenyl rings are 52.10 (5), 63.29 (5) and 66.46 (6)° in mol-ecules A, B and C, respectively. Each independent mol-ecule self-associates into a supra-molecular chain along [100] via N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds. Mol-ecules of A and B assemble into layers four mol-ecules thick in the ac plane via C-H⋯S and C-H⋯π inter-actions. Mol-ecules of C self-assemble into layers in the ac plane via C-H⋯S inter-actions. The layers stack along the b axis with no specific inter-actions between them.

In the title compound, C(26)H(20)N(2)O(4), the central isoindole core is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.043 Å). The phenyl rings lie to either side of the plane [dihedral angles = 88.64 (5) and 67.74 (6)°] and the dihedral angle between the phenyl rings is 63.39 (7)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O inter-actions; notably, one carbonyl O atom accepts three such bonds.
