SUMMARY: Maintaining an optimal redox status is essential for plant growth and development, particularly when the plants are under stress. AT‐hook motif nuclear localized (AHL) proteins are evolutionarily conserved transcription factors in plants. Much of our understanding about this gene family has been derived from studies on clade A members. To elucidate the functions of clade B genes, we first analyzed their spatial expression patterns using transgenic plants expressing a nuclear localized GFP under the control of their promoter sequences. AHL1, 2, 6, 7, and 10 were further functionally characterized owing to their high expression in the root apical meristem. Through mutant analyses and transgenic studies, we showed that these genes have the ability to promote root growth. Using yeast one‐hybrid and dual luciferase assays, we demonstrated that AHL1, 2, 6, 7, and 10 are transcription regulators and this activity is required for their roles in root growth. Although mutants for these genes did not showed obvious defects in root growth, transgenic plants expressing their fusion proteins with the SRDX repressor motif exhibited a short‐root phenotype. Through transcriptome analysis, histochemical staining and molecular genetics experiments, we found that AHL10 maintains redox homeostasis via direct regulation of glutathione transferase (GST) genes. When the transcript level of GSTF2, a top‐ranked target of AHL10, was reduced by RNAi, the short‐root phenotype in the AHL10‐SRDX expressing plant was largely rescued. 3D printing, as an advanced and promising strategy for processing electrode for energy storage devices, such as supercapacitors and batteries, has garnered considerable interest in recent decades. The interest in 3D printed electrodes stems from its exceptional performance and manufacturing features, including customized sizes and shapes and the layer‐by‐layer processing principle, etc., especially integrating with MXene which allows the manufacturing of electrodes from different raw materials and possessing desired electrochemical properties. Herculean challenges, such as material compatibility of the printing inks, nondurable interfacial or bulk mechanical strength of the printed electrodes, and sometimes the low capacitance, lead to inferior electrochemical performance and hinder the practical applications of this promising technology. In this review, we firstly summarize the representative 3D printing methods, then, review the MXene‐based 3D printing electrodes made from different materials, and last, provide electrochemical performance of 3D printing MXene‐based electrodes for supercapacitors. Furthermore, based on a summary on the recent progress, an outlook on these promising electrodes for sustainable energy devices is provided. We anticipate that this review could provide some insights into overcoming the challenges and achieving more remarkable electrochemical performance of 3D printing supercapacitor electrodes and offer perspectives in the future for emerging energy devices. Transcription factor (TF) residence on chromatin translates into quantitative transcriptional or structural outcomes on genome. Commonly used formaldehyde crosslinking fixes TF-DNA interactions cumulatively and compromises the measured occupancy level. Here we mapped the occupancy level of global or individual zinc finger TFs like CTCF and MAZ, in the form of highly resolved footprints, on native chromatin. By incorporating reinforcing perturbation conditions, we established S-score, a quantitative metric to proxy the continuum of CTCF or MAZ retention across different motifs on native chromatin. The native chromatin-retained CTCF sites harbor sequence features within CTCF motifs better explained by S-score than the metrics obtained from other crosslinking or native assays. CTCF retention on native chromatin correlates with local SUMOylation level, and anti-correlates with transcriptional activity. The S-score successfully delineates the otherwise-masked differential stability of chromatin structures mediated by CTCF, or by MAZ independent of CTCF. Overall, our study established a paradigm continuum of TF retention across binding sites on native chromatin, explaining the dynamic genome organization. The S-score derived from such series of N-ChIP experiments delineates TF binding sites with differential stability under stress. The S-score explains a spectrum of stability of TF-mediated chromatin loops under stress. The measured TF occupancy level is compromised when chromatin is chemically crosslinked. Metal exsolution engineering has been regarded as a promising strategy for activating intrinsically inert perovskite oxide catalysts toward efficient oxygen evolution reaction. Traditional metal exsolution processes on perovskites are often achieved by using the reducing hydrogen gas; however, this is not effective for the relatively stable phase, such as Ruddlesden–Popper perovskite oxides. To address this issue, triphenylphosphine is proposed to be a reduction promotor for accelerating the reduction and migration of the target metal atoms, aiming to achieve the effective exsolution of metallic species from Ruddlesden–Popper‐type parent perovskites. Upon oxygen evolution reaction, these exsolved metallic aggregates are reconstructed into oxyhydroxides as the real active centers. After further modification by low‐percentage iridium oxide nanoclusters, the optimal catalyst delivered an overpotential as low as 305 mV for generating the density of 10 mA cm−2, outperforming these reported noble metal‐containing perovskite‐based alkaline oxygen evolution reaction electrocatalysts. This work provides a potential approach to activate catalytically inert oxides through promoting surface metal exsolution and explores a novel class of Ruddlesden–Popper‐type oxides for electrocatalytic applications. Red rice is a kind of whole grain with health benefits. Probiotic fermentation is widely applied to promote nutrient release from cereals and improve bioactivity. The study aims to investigate the impact of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) dy‐1 fermentation on the bioactivities, bioaccessibility, and lipid‐lowering activities of red rice. Results indicated that fermentation significantly increased the protein and total phenolic content by 1.7 and 1.4 times of red rice, as well as the content of essential and nonessential amino acids. Fermentation remarkably increased the bioaccessibility of phenolics and the antioxidant capacity of red rice during in vitro digestion. Additionally, Caenorhabditis elegans study revealed that fermented red rice extract reduced the triglyceride content, alleviated fat deposition, and regulated lipid metabolism by altering the genes in the fatty acid oxidation and synthesis, such as daf‐16, mdt‐15, nhr‐49, fat‐5, fat‐7, and hosl‐1. Therefore, L. plantarum dy‐1 fermentation was beneficial for improving bioaccessibility and lipid‐lowering activities of red rice, which will provide a reference for utilization of red rice as a functional food. Summary: In this study, the effects of superfine grinding on the structural and physicochemical properties of bitter melon polysaccharides (BPS) were investigated, and Caenorhabditis elegans model was used to evaluate fat‐lowering bioactivities of BPS. Results illustrated that superfine grinding resulted in high extraction of BPSs yielding with altered microstructure, different monosaccharide compositions and molecular weights. In addition, improved water/oil‐holding capacity, solubility and swelling capacity of polysaccharides were observed following superfine grinding. Furthermore, C. elegans study revealed that BPSs exhibited strong inhibitory effects on lipid accumulation, especially BPS‐25 (extracted from bitter melon treated with superfine grinding) reducing the triglyceride content from 9.49 to 1.85 mg g−1.prot. Mechanistic study showed that the lipid‐lowering effects of BPSs largely dependent on the insulin signalling pathway, fatty acid oxidation or lipolysis pathways. It is well known that electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activities primarily depend on the active centers of electrocatalysts. In some oxide electrocatalysts, high‐valence metal sites (e.g., molybdenum oxide) are generally not the real active centers for electrocatalytic reactions, which is largely due to their undesired intermediate adsorption behaviors. As a proof‐of‐concept, molybdenum oxide catalysts are selected as a representative model, in which the intrinsic molybdenum sites are not the favorable active sites. Via phosphorus‐modulated defective engineering, the inactive molybdenum sites can be regenerated as synergistic active centers for promoting OER. By virtue of comprehensive comparison , it is revealed that the OER performance of oxide catalysts is highly associated with the phosphorus sites and the molybdenum/oxygen defects. Specifically, the optimal catalyst delivers an overpotential of 287 mV to achieve the current density of 10 mA cm−2, accompanied by only 2% performance decay for continuous operation up to 50 h. It is expected that this work sheds light on the enrichment of metal active sites via activating inert metal sites on oxide catalysts for boosting electrocatalytic properties. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Primary cutaneous lichenoid amyloidosis (PCLA) is featured by the deposition amyloid, originated from keratinocytes within the papillary dermis and lacking systemic involvement.[1] Various therapies including topical and intralesional corticosteroids, systemic retinoids, psoralen 1 ultraviolet A and UVB phototherapy, cyclosporine, cryosurgery, dupilumab, Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, and surgical interventions and lasers have been used for treating PCLA.[[1]] Current treatments are based on case reports and off-label trails, and standardized treatment has not been established. This article discusses the treatment of Netherton syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized by skin and hair abnormalities, with a drug called spesolimab. The case study presented in the article describes a 5-year-old girl with Netherton syndrome who showed significant improvement in symptoms after receiving spesolimab treatment. Netherton syndrome has limited therapeutic options, and previous treatments had not been effective for this patient. Typically, airway remodeling caused by migration and proliferation of airway smooth muscle cells (ASMCs) plays a crucial role in the pathophysiological characteristics of asthma development. Cystatin 1 (CST1), a protein‐coding gene referred to as Cystatin SN, is highly expressed in asthma patients. However, the role of CST1 and related molecular mechanisms in the development of asthma remains to be explored. This study aims to investigate the role of CST1 in asthma progression and present related molecular mechanisms. To explore these aspects, human ASMCs with platelet‐derived growth factor BB (PDGF‐BB) are initially stimulated and applied as a cellular model of asthma. Further, CST1 is knocked down with small interfering ribose nucleic acid (siRNA) overexpressed with plasmids. Then, 5‐ethynyl‐2′‐deoxyuridine (EdU) and Cell Count Kit (CCK)‐8 assays are applied to assess the cell proliferation rates. Further, Transwell and Western blot analyses for migration of cells and expression of MMP1 and MMP9 proteins are assessed, respectively. Under PDGF‐BB stimulation, human ASMCs showed an increased CST1 expression, enhanced proliferation, and migration abilities, as well as up‐regulated PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. Further, knockdown or overexpression of CST1 presented the declined or enhanced proliferation, migration, and up‐regulation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway of human ASMCs. Inhibiting PI3K/AKT signaling pathway displayed the reduced migration and proliferation of human ASMCs. In summary, these findings indicated that CST1 played an essential role in the progression of asthma by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and promoting the migration and proliferation abilities of human ASMCs treated with PDGF‐BB. BACKGROUND: A reduced level of fatty acid oxidation (FAO) by skeletal muscle leads to the accumulation of intermuscular fat (IMF), which is linked to impaired exercise capacity. Previously, we have reported that Lactiplantibacillus plantarum fermented barley extract (LFBE) has effective anti‐obesity properties. In this study, the effects of LFBE on muscle were investigated. RESULTS: LFBE improved running endurance and muscle strength, which was caused by the elevation of FAO in muscle. In addition, LFBE renovated muscle regeneration through the upregulation of paired box 7 and myogenic differentiation 1 expression avoiding the injury of skeletal muscle fibers. Furthermore, total polyphenol isolated from LFBE (FTP) reinforced mobility and showed a significant protective effect on maintaining muscle fiber morphogenesis in Caenorhabditis elegans. Transmission electron microscope observation suggested FTP induced mitophagy in C. elegans body wall muscle, which was strongly connected with enhanced FAO in mitochondria. BACKGROUND Bitter melon is widely applied to the treatment of diabetes and obesity, but few studies focus on the processing procedure of bitter melon. The differences in physical properties, bioaccessibility, and anti‐obesity activity of bitter melon powder (BMP) produced with or without superfine grinding were investigated to optimize an effective processing procedure. RESULTS: Results showed that superfine grinding could improve the physical properties of BMP, represented by greater bulk density, lower water‐holding capacity, and higher bioactive compounds' solubilities. Superfine grinding remarkably affected the bioaccessibility of phenolics and the antioxidant capacity of bitter melon during in vitro digestion. Meanwhile, after a 4 week treatment, 25 μm BMP showed a greater anti‐obesity activity with reduction in the serum insulin levels from 16.47 to 13.10 mIU L−1, reversing high‐fat‐diet‐induced glucose intolerance, decreasing levels of serum lipids and hepatic lipid accumulation compared with the high‐fat diet group. It has been well recognized that the surface reconstruction of electrocatalysts at the initial stage in the form of phase transitions, defect migrations, valence regulations, etc., plays a critical role in generating real, surface active catalytic centers and achieving steady surface reactions. It is also expected that a low activation energy barrier for initiating surface reconstruction is crucial for rapid and stable electrochemical catalysis. Despite this, the surface reconstruction kinetics and their effects on catalytic reactions have been rarely investigated. Herein, using phase modulated polymorphic cobalt‐based catalysts with tailorable nitrogen‐metal bonds through a cationic molybdenum‐substitution strategy, real‐time X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) structural monitoring of the surface chemical state evolution during the catalytic reaction is performed to track the initial surface reconstruction kinetics during the alkaline oxygen evolution reaction (OER). It is concluded that the molybdenum‐modulated cobalt‐based nanocatalyst can be tuned with favorable initial surface reconstruction and stabilized active centers to reach optimized OER catalysis, accompanied by a low onset overpotential of only 210 mV and a favorable overpotential at 10 mA cm–2 of 290 mV, outperforming the commercial, noble‐metallic RuO2 catalyst. The incidence and mortality of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are gradually increasing during the past years. Recently, some studies have reported that malic enzyme (ME) plays an important role in cancer development, while the involvement of ME2 in HCC remains still undetermined. Here, we demonstrated that ME2 played an oncogenic role in HCC. ME2 was overexpressed in HCC tissues. TCGA database showed that the ME2 transcript level was inversely associated with the survival of HCC patients. Loss‐of‐function and gain‐of‐function assays showed that ME2 promoted HCC cell growth and migration. Furthermore, the xenografted tumorigenesis of MHCC97H cells was retarded by ME2 knockdown. ME2 silencing also suppressed the cell cycle process and induced apoptosis. Mechanistically, ME2 potentiated triglyceride synthesis, inhibition of which suppressed the proliferation and migration. SUMMARY: Root growth relies on both cell division and cell elongation, which occur in the meristem and elongation zones, respectively. SCARECROW (SCR) and SHORT‐ROOT (SHR) are GRAS family genes essential for root growth and radial patterning in the Arabidopsis root. Previous studies showed that SCR and SHR promote root growth by suppressing cytokinin response in the meristem, but there is evidence that SCR expressed beyond the meristem is also required for root growth. Here we report a previously unknown role for SCR in promoting cell elongation. Consistent with this, we found that the scr mutant accumulated a higher level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the elongation zone, which is probably due to decreased expression of peroxidase gene 3, which consumes hydrogen peroxide in a reaction leading to Casparian strip formation. When the oxidative stress response was blocked in the scr mutant by mutation in ABSCISIC ACID 2 (ABA2) or when the redox status was ameliorated by the upbeat 1 (upb1) mutant, the root became significantly longer, with longer cells and a larger and more mitotically active meristem. Remarkably, however, the stem cell and radial patterning defects in the double mutants still persisted. Since ROS and peroxidases are essential for endodermal differentiation, these results suggest that SCR plays a role in coordinating cell elongation, endodermal differentiation, redox homeostasis and oxidative stress response in the root. Overly active acyl‐coenzyme A: cholesterol acyltransferases (ACATs) are known to contribute to the development of atherosclerosis, cancer cell proliferation and de novo lipogenesis. However, the role of ACAT in systemic lipid metabolism and its consequence of aging is unknown. Using avasimibe, a clinically proven ACAT inhibitor, and mboa‐1 mutant strain, a homologous to mammalian ACAT, herein, we found that Ava treatment and mboa‐1 mutant exhibited a decreased fat accumulation during feeding and increased lipolysis with extended lifespan of C. elegans during fasting. Our study highlights the essential role of ACAT inhibitor and mboa‐1 in fat mobilization and the survival of C. elegans in fasting through the modulation of the genes involved in lipolysis and insulin/IGF‐1 signaling. A colorimetric sensor array based on natural pigments was developed to discriminate between various saccharides. Anthocyanins, pH‐sensitive natural pigments, were extracted from fruits and flowers and used as components of the sensor array. Variation in pH, due to the reaction between saccharides and boronic acids, caused obvious colour changes in the natural pigments. Only by observing the difference map with the naked eye could 11 common saccharides be divided into independent individuals. In conjunction with pattern recognition, the sensor array clearly differentiated between sugar and sugar alcohol with highly accuracy and allowed rapid quantification of different concentrations of maltitol and fructose. This sensor array for saccharides is expected to become a promising alternative tool for food monitoring. BACKGROUND Barley contains a relatively high concentration of the mixed‐linkage (1 → 3) (1 → 4) β‐glucan, which has been reported to be a functional food with prebiotic potential. In the current study we compared the properties of two neutral barley β‐glucans, obtained from raw barley: raw barley β‐glucan (RBG) and Lactobacillus plantarum dy‐1‐fermented barley (FBG). RESULTS: Molecular characteristics revealed that the molecular weight of barley β‐glucan decreased from 1.13 × 105 D to 6.35 × 104 D after fermentation. Fermentation also improved the water / oil holding capacity, solubility, and swelling capacity of barley β‐glucan. Both RBG and FBG significantly improved the locomotive behavior of nematodes, thereby increasing their energy consumption and reducing fat deposition – the effect was more significant with FBG. These effects could potentially depend on nhr‐49, TGF‐daf‐7 mediated pathways and so on, in which nhr‐49 factor is particularly required. The use of ethanol as a fuel in direct alcohol fuel cells depends not only on its ease of production from renewable sources, but also on overcoming the challenges of storage and transportation. In an ethanol‐based fuel cell, highly active electrocatalysts are required to break the C−C bond in ethanol for its complete oxidation at lower overpotentials, with the aim of increasing the cell performance, ethanol conversion rates, and fuel efficiency. In recent decades, the development of wet‐chemistry methods has stimulated research into catalyst design, reactivity tailoring, and mechanistic investigations, and thus, created great opportunities to achieve efficient oxidation of ethanol. In this Minireview, the nanomaterials tested as electrocatalysts for the ethanol oxidation reaction in acid or alkaline environments are summarized. The focus is mainly on nanomaterials synthesized by using wet‐chemistry methods, with particular attention on the relationship between the chemical and physical characteristics of the catalysts, for example, catalyst composition, morphology, structure, degree of alloying, presence of oxides or supports, and their activity for ethanol electro‐oxidation. As potential alternatives to noble metals, non‐noble‐metal catalysts for ethanol oxidation are also briefly reviewed. Aims: Persistent pruritic eruptions (PPEs), presenting with dyskeratotic keratinocytes histologically, are characteristic skin rash in patients with adult‐onset Still's disease (AOSD). The lesions may be histologically similar to other entities that present with dyskeratosis. In the present study, we compared the histopathological features between PPEs and other entities presenting with dyskeratosis. Methods and results: To investigate whether histopathological findings can be used to discriminate among PPEs and other entities presenting with dyskeratotic keratinocytes, cutaneous histopathological changes of PPEs associated with AOSD (n = 26) were compared with those of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) (n = 16), dermatomyositis (n = 19), and drug eruption (n = 16). Dyskeratosis was observed in the upper one‐third of the epidermal layer in all 26 PPEs. The rate of dyskeratosis for PPEs was higher than that for SLE (18.8%) and dermatomyositis (15.8%). In drug eruptions, the dyskeratotic cells were distributed in all levels of the epidermis. Variable densities of neutrophils were found in the dermis in all PPEs. Conclusions: Although this was a retrospective study conducted at a single centre, presentation of dyskeratotic keratinocytes in the upper one‐third of the epidermal layer is a distinctive histopathological reactive pattern of PPEs. Chamaesium jiulongense X. L. Guo & X. J. He, a new species of Apiaceae from Mt Haite in Jiulong County, Sichuan Province, China, is described. The new species differs from other Chamaesium species by its ultimate segments of the leaves which are 1-3-lobed, rarely entire, with a narrow, minutely incised, pale brown margin, as well as by the presence of leaf-like bracts, bracteoles longer than flowers, pubescent styles and oblong fruit with obsolete calyx. This article reports a novel category of coating structure SiO2@Eu(MABA-Si) luminescence nanoparticles (NPs) consisting of a unique organic shell, composed of perchlorate europium(III) complex, and an inorganic core, composed of silica. The binary complex Eu(MABA-Si)3·(ClO4)3·5H2O was synthesized using HOOCC6H4N(CONH(CH2)3Si(OCH2CH3)3)2 (MABA-Si) and was used as a ligand. Furthermore, the as-prepared silica NPs were successfully coated with the -Si(OCH2CH3)3 group of MABA-Si to form Si-O-Si chemical bonds by means of the hydrolyzation of MABA-Si. The binary complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity and coordination titration analysis. The results indicated that the composition of the binary complex was Eu(MABA-Si)3·(ClO4)3·5H2O. Coating structure SiO2@Eu(MABA-Si) NPs were characterized using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and infrared (IR) spectra. Based on the SEM and TEM measurements, the diameter of core-SiO2 particles was ~400 and 600 nm, and the thickness of the cladding layer Eu(MABA-Si) was ~20 nm. In the binary complex Eu(MABA-Si)3·(ClO4)3·5H2O, the fluorescence spectra illustrated that the energy of the ligand MABA-Si transferred to the energy level for the excitation state of europium(III) ion. Coating structure SiO2@Eu(MABA-Si) NPs exhibited intense red luminescence compared with the binary complex. The fluorescence lifetime and fluorescence quantum efficiency of the binary complex and of the coating structure NPs were also calculated. Reduced glutathione ( GSH) is considered to exert a strong influence on cellular redox homeostasis and to regulate gene expression, but these processes remain poorly characterized. Severe GSH depletion specifically inhibited root meristem development, while low root GSH levels decreased lateral root densities. The redox potential of the nucleus and cytosol of Arabidopsis thaliana roots determined using ro GFP probes was between -300 and -320 mV. Growth in the presence of the GSH-synthesis inhibitor buthionine sulfoximine ( BSO) increased the nuclear and cytosolic redox potentials to approximately −260 mV. GSH-responsive genes including transcription factors ( SPATULA, MYB15, MYB75), proteins involved in cell division, redox regulation (glutaredoxinS17, thioredoxins, ACHT5 and TH8) and auxin signalling (HECATE), were identified in the GSH-deficient root meristemless 1-1 ( rml1-1) mutant, and in other GSH-synthesis mutants ( rax1-1, cad2-1, pad2-1) as well as in the wild type following the addition of BSO. Inhibition of auxin transport had no effect on organ GSH levels, but exogenous auxin decreased the root GSH pool. We conclude that GSH depletion significantly increases the redox potentials of the nucleus and cytosol, and causes arrest of the cell cycle in roots but not shoots, with accompanying transcript changes linked to altered hormone responses, but not oxidative stress. The self-thinning rule defines a straight upper boundary line on log-log scales for all possible combinations of mean individual biomass and density in plant populations. Recently, the traditional slope of the upper boundary line, −3/2, has been challenged by −4/3 which is deduced from some new mechanical theories, like the metabolic theory. More experimental or field studies should be carried out to identify the more accurate self-thinning exponent. But it's hard to obtain the accurate self-thinning exponent by fitting to data points directly because of the intrinsic problem of subjectivity in data selection. The virtual dynamic thinning line is derived from the competition-density (C-D) effect as the initial density tends to be positive infinity, avoiding the data selection process. The purpose of this study was to study the relationship between the virtual dynamic thinning line and the upper boundary line in simulated plant stands. Our research showed that the upper boundary line and the virtual dynamic thinning line were both straight lines on log-log scales. The slopes were almost the same value with only a very little difference of 0.059, and the intercept of the upper boundary line was a little larger than that of the virtual dynamic thinning line. As initial size and spatial distribution patterns became more uniform, the virtual dynamic thinning line was more similar to the upper boundary line. The crystal structure of a potato calmodulin (PCM6) was solved by molecular replacement and refined to a crystallo-graphic R factor of 22.8% (Rfree = 25.0%) using X-ray diffraction data in the resolution range 8.0--2.0 Å. This is the first report of the three-dimensional structure of a plant Ca 2+ - calmodulin. PCM6 crystallizes in a crystal form that belongs to space group P21 21 21, which is different to that of most other calmodulin crystals. The main structural difference between PCM6 and the other calmodulins is in the central helix region and appears to be caused by crystal packing. The surface properties of PCM6 molecules were compared with those of animal calmodulins, which provided an explanation for the unique crystal-packing state of PCM6. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A multi‐cell joint optimisation problem is analysed to maximise the energy efficiency of the cellular and device‐to‐device (D2D) transmission, subject to a maximum power and signal‐to‐interference‐plus‐noise ratio constraint, under the scenario considering both intra‐cell and inter‐cell interference. On this basis, a multi‐cell joint power control (MCJPC) algorithm is proposed. For simpler implementation and lower coordination overhead, a single‐cell independent power control (SCIPC) algorithm is further proposed. The theoretical analysis and simulation results indicate that the proposed MCJPC and SCIPC algorithms can not only achieve higher energy efficiency compared with other typical power control algorithms, but also have good scalability.
