Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with ticagrelor or adjusted‐dose prasugrel has been used for acute coronary syndrome (ACS). However, few studies have directly compared these two drugs. In this study, we compared the real‐world applications and outcomes of these two drugs in patients with ACS who had undergone percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This retrospective cohort study was conducted using the data of eligible patients with ACS who had undergone PCI at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital System between June 2019 and December 2021. The primary efficacy‐related outcome was the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs), and the primary safety‐related outcome was major bleeding. Inverse probability of treatment weighting based on propensity score was performed to reduce confounding effects. The study included 2,636 patients; of them, 429 received prasugrel and 2,207 received ticagrelor. No significant between‐group difference was observed in the risk of MACE (13.1 vs. 13.1 events per 100 person‐years, respectively, hazard ratio (HR): 1.01, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.71–1.43). Both groups exhibited similar rates of major bleeding (3.9 vs. 4.1 events per 100 person‐years, respectively, subdistribution HR: 0.96, 95% CI: 0.68–1.35). In real‐world settings, adjusted‐dose prasugrel and ticagrelor exhibit comparable safety and efficacy profiles in East Asian patients with ACS after PCI. BACKGROUND: The melon fly, Zeugodacus cucurbitae (Coquillett), is an invasive Tephritidae pest with robust fertility. The male accessory glands (MAGs) form a vital organ that ensures insect reproductive efficiency. Most of the secreted proteins by MAGs exhibit a male bias expression. Takeout, one of these proteins, is abundantly present in the MAGs of many insects. RESULTS: In this study, we identified 32 takeout genes in Z. cucurbitae. The phylogenetic analysis and multiple sequence alignment results showed that Zctakeout1 is the most related homolog to the MAGs‐specific takeout in Tephritidae. The real‐time quantitative PCR results showed that Zctakeout1 was exclusively expressed in the male adult stage, and its expression level gradually increased with the increase in age and then remained stable at the sexually matured stage. The distribution among tissues demonstrated the specific expression of Zctakeout1 in the MAGs, and fluorescence immunohistochemical results confirmed the presence of Zctakeout1 in close proximity to binuclear cells of the mesoderm epidermal MAGs. In continuation, CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated genome editing was employed, resulting in successfully generating a homozygous strain with an +8 bp insertion. The mating experiments with the Zctakeout1−/− males resulted in significant reductions in both the mating rate and egg production of females. CONCLUSION: These findings prove that the MAGs‐specific Zctakeout1 is essential in regulating fecundity in female Z. cucurbitae fruit flies. Palladium‐catalyzed thioesterification of (aza)indole‐tethered aryl iodides, Mo(CO)6, and sulfonyl chlorides is reported. A series of C2 thioester‐group substituted indoline‐fused ring compounds are constructed by an intramolecular Heck cyclization and carbonylation chemistry involving N‐(2‐iodobenzoyl)indole. Introduction: The classic Philadelphia chromosome–negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (Ph (‐) MPNs), have variable potential for progression to the blast phase (MPN‐BP) of the disease. Except initiated by distinct driver mutations, MPN‐BP frequently carry similar genetic abnormalities defining acute myeloid leukemia myelodysplasia‐related (AML‐MR). Because of dissimilar initial pathogenesis, MPN‐BP and AML‐MR are retained under different disease categories. To determine if separately classifying these entities is justified, we compare MPN‐BP with AML‐MR patients based on mutational landscape and clinical parameters. Methods: 104 MPN‐BP patients and 145 AML‐MR patients were identified with available clinical, cytogenetic, and genetic data. Results: AML‐MR patients presented with a higher blast count (median, 51% vs. 30%) while MPN‐BP patients had higher WBC counts, platelet counts and bone marrow cellularity (all p<0.0001). Patients with MPN‐BP showed similar genetic mutations with similar mutation pattern (functional domain, hotspot and locus involved by the mutations) but a different mutation rate from AML‐MR, with more frequent JAK2, CALR, MPL, ASXL1, IDH2, SETBP1 and SRSF2 mutations and less frequent TP53 and DNMT3A mutations. The overall survival (OS) of MPN‐BP (OS post‐BP‐progression) is comparable to that of AML‐MR (median OS, 9.5 months vs. 13.1 months, p=0.20). In addition, the subgroups of MPN‐BP show similar OS as AML‐MR. When harboring certain mutation such as TP53, ASXL1, DNMT3A, TET2, RUNX1, IDH1, IDH2, EZH2, U2AF1, BCOR and SRSF2, MPN‐BP and AML‐MR patients carrying the same somatic mutation show no difference in OS. Background: Clot based assays used for lupus anticoagulant (LAC) detection are typically interpreted in a qualitative fashion and may not reflect LAC potency. In this cross‐sectional study, we describe a method for quantifying the LAC titer using serial (dependent) two‐fold dilutions in normal pooled plasma. Methods: Serial dilutions of 51 residual plasma samples from 50 patients were tested using the Russell's viper venom screening time (DRVVT) and activated partial thromboplastin screening time (APTT) methodologies. The measured clotting times and the corresponding dilution factors were then used to derive a four‐parameter logistic model. The LAC titer for each patient was interpolated as the sample dilution that corresponds to the upper reference interval limit of the corresponding assay. Results: Calculated APTT and DRVVT LAC titers displayed a strong linear correlation (R2 = 0.84) between each other, but not with the degree of prolongation of the APTT/DRVVT screening time in the neat undiluted samples. Using data driven partitioning, patients could be grouped into low (<10) or high (≥10) DRVVT LAC titer. There were no significant differences in anticardiolipin (aCL) or anti‐beta 2 glycoprotein 1 (aB2GPI) antibody levels or prevalence of thromboembolic events between low and high LAC titer groups. In contrast, antiphosphatidylserine/prothrombin (aPS/PT) IgM antibody levels, but not IgG, were significantly higher in the high LAC titer group. Conclusions: The degree of prolongation of the APTT/DRVVT screening time is not correlated with the LAC titer. Only aPS/PT IgM antibodies levels were strongly correlated with the LAC titers. Sleep deprivation (SD) has been associated with a plethora of severe pathophysiological syndromes, including gut damage, which recently has been elucidated as an outcome of the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). However, the spatiotemporal analysis conducted in this study has intriguingly shown that specific events cause harmful damage to the gut, particularly to goblet cells, before the accumulation of lethal ROS. Transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses have identified significant enrichment of metabolites related to ferroptosis in mice suffering from SD. Further analysis revealed that melatonin could rescue the ferroptotic damage in mice by suppressing lipid peroxidation associated with ALOX15 signaling. ALOX15 knockout protected the mice from the serious damage caused by SD‐associated ferroptosis. These findings suggest that melatonin and ferroptosis could be targets to prevent devastating gut damage in animals exposed to SD. To sum up, this study is the first report that proposes a noncanonical modulation in SD‐induced gut damage via ferroptosis with a clearly elucidated mechanism and highlights the active role of melatonin as a potential target to maximally sustain the state during SD. Aims: The PIONEER‐HF and PARAGLIDE‐HF trials aimed to determine the efficacy and safety of the in‐hospital initiation of sacubitril/valsartan in patients hospitalized for AHF. However, whether the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the trials apply to patients encountered in real‐world routine care is unclear. This study aimed to investigate the applicability of the PIONEER‐HF and PARAGLIDE‐HF trials to real‐world AHF patients. Methods and results: We identified 28 293 AHF hospitalized patients between August 2008 to August 2017 from the Chang Gung Research Database and classified them into four groups based on left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and trial criteria. Cox proportional hazards models were used to compare the risk of HF hospitalization and cardiovascular (CV) death. We defined PIONEER‐HF eligible (n = 3683) and non‐eligible (n = 3502) patients with an LVEF ≤40%, and PARAGLIDE‐HF eligible (n = 5191) and non‐eligible (n = 5832) patients with an LVEF >40%. Over a mean follow‐up of 3.5 years, the PIONEER‐HF non‐eligible and eligible groups exhibited similar rates of HF hospitalization and CV death (41.1% vs. 41.8%, adjusted hazard ratio [aHR]: 0.95; 95% CI: 0.88–1.04). No significant difference was found in the composite outcome between PARAGLIDE‐HF non‐eligible and eligible groups (36.7% vs. 38.6%; aHR: 0.97; 95% CI: 0.90–1.04). Conclusions: Using trial criteria, only 31.3% of AHF patients were eligible for sacubitril–valsartan. Yet, non‐eligible patients demonstrated similar outcomes to eligible patients, indicating a need for further evaluation of sacubitril–valsartan benefits in non‐eligible AHF patients. Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the potential application of a radiomics features‐based nomogram for predicting therapeutic responses to neoadjuvant chemohormonal therapy (NCHT) in patients with high‐risk non‐metastatic prostate cancer (PCa). Methods: Clinicopathologic information was retrospectively collected from 162 patients with high‐risk non‐metastatic PCa receiving NCHT and radical prostatectomy at our center. The postoperative pathological findings were used as the gold standard for evaluating the efficacy of NCHT. The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) was conducted to develop radiomics signature. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify the predictors of a positive pathological response to NCHT, and a nomogram was constructed based on these predictors. Results: Sixty‐three patients (38.89%) experienced positive pathological response to NCHT. Receiver operating characteristic analyses showed that the area under the curve (AUC) of periprostatic fat (PPF) radiomics signature was 0.835 (95% CI, 0.754–0.898), while the AUC of intratumoral radiomics signature was 0.822 (95% CI, 0.739–0.888). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that PSA level, PPF radiomics signature and intratumoral radiomics signature were independent predictors of positive pathological response. A nomogram based on these three predictors was constructed. The AUC was 0.908 (95% CI, 0.839–0.954). The Hosmer–Lemeshow goodness‐of‐fit test showed that the nomogram was well calibrated. Decision curve analysis revealed the favorable clinical practicability of the nomogram. The nomogram was successfully validated in the validation cohort. Kaplan–Meier analyses showed that nomogram and positive pathological response were significantly related with survival of PCa. Conclusion: The radiomics–clinical nomogram based on mpMRI radiomics features exhibited superior predictive ability for positive pathological response to NCHT in high‐risk non‐metastatic PCa. Background: Eradicating Helicobacter pylori infection by bismuth quadruple therapy (BQT) is effective. However, the effect of BQT and subsequent fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) on the gut microbiota is less known. Materials and Methods: This prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted at a tertiary hospital in China from January 2019 to October 2020, with the primary endpoints the effect of BQT on the gut microbiota and the effect of FMT on the gut microbiota after bismuth quadruple therapy eradication therapy. A 14‐day BQT with amoxicillin and clarithromycin was administered to H. pylori‐positive subjects, and after eradication therapy, patients received a one‐time FMT or placebo treatment. We then collected stool samples to assess the effects of 14‐day BQT and FMT on the gut microbiota. 16 s rDNA and metagenomic sequencing were used to analyze the structure and function of intestinal flora. We also used Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS) to evaluate gastrointestinal symptom during treatment. Results: A total of 30 patients were recruited and 15 were assigned to either FMT or placebo groups. After eradication therapy, alpha‐diversity was decreased in both groups. At the phylum level, the abundance of Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes decreased, while Proteobacteria increased. At the genus level, the abundance of beneficial bacteria decreased, while pathogenic bacteria increased. Eradication therapy reduced some resistance genes abundance while increased the resistance genes abundance linked to Escherichia coli. While they all returned to baseline by Week 10. Besides, the difference was observed in Week 10 by the diarrhea score between two groups. Compared to Week 2, the GSRS total score and diarrhea score decreased in Week 3 only in FMT group. Conclusions: The balance of intestinal flora in patients can be considerably impacted by BQT in the short term, but it has reverted back to baseline by Week 10. Aedes sp. mosquitoes are changing their geographic range in response to climate change. This is of concern because these mosquitoes can carry dengue fever and other viral diseases. Changing weather patterns can also increase the numbers of Aedes mosquitoes, leading to greater human exposure and enhancing population health risks. We project the geographic distribution of Aedes and associated changes in populations exposed to dengue in Asian metropolitan areas under warming scenarios from 1.5°C to 5.0°C above pre‐industrial temperatures, using multi‐model ensembles. With global warming, the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula, the coast of the Arabian Sea in southern Iran, southern Pakistan in West Asia, the Korean Peninsula, most of the Japanese islands, and parts of North China in East Asia are projected to become suitable for dengue transmission. The numbers of metropolitan areas exposed to dengue is projected to change from 142 (48%) in the reference period (1995–2014) to 211 (71%) at 5.0°C warming. With the combined impact of socioeconomic and climate change, population exposure to dengue in Asian metropolitan areas is projected to increase from 263 (multi‐model range 252–268) million in 1995–2014 to 411 (394–432) million, 446 (420–490) million, 509 (475–601), 558 (493–685) and 587 (529–773) million, respectively, at 1.5°C, 2.0°C, 3.0°C, 4.0°C and 5°C warming, with an average of 2.9 million new people exposed to dengue fever in metropolitan areas each year. Plain Language Summary: Dengue fever, spread by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes, is the most serious arbovirus disease affecting Asia. With global warming, mosquitoes that may carry dengue virus continue to expand in geographic range and vectorial capacity. Continued growth of mosquito populations can lead to a considerable increase in dengue exposure, especially in urban areas, increasing public health risks. Based on the occurrence data of the two mosquito species and climate observations, we explored the correlation between different climate elements and the spread of the mosquitoes. Using the outputs of 34 global climate models, we project the probability of occurrence and mosquito vectorial capacity under different warming levels in Asia. With global warming, much of Asia's area is projected to become suitable for dengue transmission. We have also estimated the future population changes in Asian metropolitan areas, to explore the combined effects of socioeconomy and climate change on exposure to dengue. As population density continues to increase and dengue epidemic potential rises, the population exposed to potential dengue fever transmission in Asian metropolitan areas is projected to surge in the future. The effective removal of complex pollutants is extremely challenging for environmental and material science, especially pollutants including detergents and pesticides do not decompose or degrade in the aquatic environment which cannot be easily removed. Here, a novel biocompatible superparamagnetic nanocomposite integrating the advantages of porous silicon nanoparticles is developed, the chelation ability of chitosan, and graphene‐oxide‐iron that can simultaneously adsorb complex hydrophobic and hydrophilic pollutants on their internal and external surfaces which have significantly improved pollutant removal efficiency over the current existing methods. A porous silicon nanoparticle (PSi) conjugated magnetite‐chitosan‐reduced graphene oxide (MCRGO) nanoparticles (PSi‐MCRGO) are synthesized for complete removal of detergent, pesticide, and toxic heavy metals cadmium and lead ions from water at a favorable room temperature. The adsorption behavior of the nanocomposites fits well with the Freundlich isotherm and pseudo‐second‐order kinetics model by adsorption mechanism. Moreover, the fresh and recycled nanocomposites are easily separated by an external magnetic field for reusability due to super magnetite response and show high binding capacity for toxic heavy metal ions. Furthermore, the nanocomposites are biocompatible and reusable, and for the fourth time, recycled nanocomposites can completely remove toxic heavy metals. A series of pyrrolo[3,2‐f]quinoxaline derivatives have been obtained by a three‐component domino reaction of quinoxalin‐6‐amine, arylglyoxal monohydrates, and cyclic 1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds in ethanol medium at 80°C catalyzed by acetic acid. The radical copolymerizations of vinyl ethers, including ethylene glycol monovinyl ether (HEVE) and isobutyl vinyl ether (IBVE), and acrylonitrile (AN) are investigated. The reactivity ratios of comonomers are evaluated by Fineman–Ross (rHEVE = 0.032 and rAN = 1.054, and rIBVE = 0.031 and rAN = 13.984) and Kelen–Tudos (rHEVE = 0.001 and rAN = 1.036, and rIBVE = 0.032 and rAN = 13.981) methods, respectively. The conversions of HEVE and IBVE under similar conditions also support that HEVE has a higher reactivity than that of IBVE. A series of poly(HEVE‐co‐AN)s (Mn from 56 000 to 110 000) and poly(IBVE‐co‐AN)s (Mn from 52 000 to 97 000) with random sequential structure are prepared. Furthermore, the glass transitional temperatures of poly(vinyl ether‐co‐AN)s decrease with the increase of vinyl ether units in the copolymers. Thermal stability of poly(vinyl ether‐co‐AN)s is comparable, which is slightly affected by vinyl ether contents. Poly(HEVE‐co‐AN)s possess a two‐stage weight loss (one around 230 °C, and the other around 300 °C), and poly(IBVE‐co‐AN)s decompose at around 350 °C with one stage. In addition, the poly(HEVE‐co‐AN)s demonstrate a good hydrophilicity of which the average of static water contact angles decrease from 85.4° to 62.4° with the HEVE units increased from 8% to 33%. Thin films of crystalline solids with substantial free volume built from organic chromophores and metal secondary building units (SBUs) are promising for engineering new optoelectronic properties through control of interchromophore coupling. Zn‐based SBUs are especially relevant in this case because they avoid quenching the chromophore's luminescence. We find that layer‐by‐layer spin‐coating using Zn acetate dihydrate and benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylic acid (H2BDC) and biphenyl‐4,4'‐dicarboxylic acid (H2BPDC) linkers readily produces crystalline thin films. However, analysis of the grazing‐incidence wide‐angle X‐ray scattering (GIWAXS) data reveals the structures of these films vary significantly with the linker, and with the metal‐to‐linker molar ratio used for fabrication. Under equimolar conditions, H2BPDC creates a type of structure like that proposed for SURMOF‐2, whereas H2BDC generates a different metal‐hydroxide‐organic framework. Large excess of Zn2+ ions causes the growth of layered zinc hydroxides, irrespective of the linker used. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations provide structural models with minimum total energy that are consistent with the experimentally observed diffractograms. In the broader sense, this work illustrates the importance in this field of careful structure determination, e. g., by utilizing GIWAXS and DFT simulations to determine the structure of the obtained crystalline metal‐organic thin films, such that properties can be rationally engineered and explained. Background: The melon fly, Zeugodacus cucurbitae Coquillett, is one of the major pests attacking Cucurbitaceae crops. Identifying critical genes or proteins regulating fertility is essential for sustainable pest control and a research hotspot in insect physiology. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short RNAs that do not directly participate in protein translation, but instead function in post‐transcriptional regulation of gene expression involved in male fertility. Results: We found that miR‐927‐5p is highly expressed in the testes and investigated its function in spermatogenesis in Z. cucurbitae. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) showed miR‐927‐5p in the transformation and maturation region of the testis, and overexpression of miR‐927‐5p reduced the number of sperms by 53%. In continuation, we predicted 12 target genes of miR‐927‐5p using bioinformatics combined with transcriptome sequencing data, and found that miR‐927‐5p targets the new gene Stalky in insects, which was validated by quantitative real‐time PCR, RNA pull‐down and dual luciferase reporter assays. FISH also confirmed the co‐localization of miR‐927‐5p and the transcript Stalky_1 in the testis. Moreover, silencing of Stalky_1 by RNA interference reduced the number of sperms by 32% and reduced sperm viability by 39% in physiologically mature male adults. Meanwhile, the silencing of Stalky_1 also resulted in low hatchability. Conclusion: Our work not only presents a new, so far unreported mechanism regulating spermatogenesis by miR‐927‐5p targeting a new unknown target, Stalky, which is providing new knowledge on the regulatory network of insect spermatogenesis, but also lays a foundation for the development of SIT against important tephritid fly pests. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry. Atomically precise ~1‐nm Pt nanoparticles (nanoclusters, NCs) with ambient stability are important in fundamental research and exhibit diverse practical applications (catalysis, biomedicine, etc.). However, synthesizing such materials is challenging. Herein, by employing the mixture ligand protecting strategy, we successfully synthesized the largest organic‐ligand‐protected (~1‐nm) Pt23 NCs precisely characterized with mass spectrometry and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses. Interestingly, natural population analysis and Bader charge calculation indicate an alternate, varying charge ‐layer distribution in the sandwich‐like Pt23 NC kernel. Pt23 NCs can catalyze the oxygen reduction reaction under acidic conditions without requiring calcination and other treatments, and the resulting specific and mass activities without further treatment are sevenfold and eightfold higher than those observed for commercial Pt/C catalysts, respectively. Density functional theory and d‐band center calculations interpret the high activity. Furthermore, Pt23 NCs exhibit a photothermal conversion efficiency of 68.4 % under 532‐nm laser irradiation and can be used at least for six cycles, thus demonstrating great potential for practical applications. Ternary copolymerization is a cost‐effective and time‐saving approach to improve device performance and batch stability of polymer donors. However, the structure of the ternary polymer donor obtained by the traditional one‐pot polymerization is vague due to the different monomer reaction order, which has a great influence on the absorption, crystallization, molecular stacking, and device performance. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain terpolymers with definite structures, and systematically study the differences in device properties of polymers with different sequence structures. Herein, three terpolymers D1, D2, and D3 are developed. Random copolymer D3 is obtained via the traditional one‐pot method while alternating copolymer donor D1 and block copolymer D2 are synthesized by stepwise polymerization. Because the block copolymer D2 possess periodic sequence distribution and retains the excellent properties of the two polymer matrix very well, the D2‐based device shows enhanced tightened π‐face‐on molecular stacking, distinguished efficient exciton dissociation, and decreased energy loss. As a result, the D2:L8‐BO‐based polymer solar cells achieve one of a record power conversion efficiency of 19.03%. The work demonstrates changing the sequence structure of the polymers to synthesize well‐defined structures polymer donors not only maintains the features of polymer matrix, but also combines the advantages of ternary copolymerization. Summary: A chemotherapy‐based mobilization regimen in patients who mobilize poorly, based on etoposide, cytarabine and pegfilgrastim (EAP), has recently been introduced. The aim of this prospective study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of the EAP regimen in patients with poorly mobilizing multiple myeloma (MM) or lymphoma. This single‐arm clinical trial was performed at eight public hospitals in China and was registered as a clinical trial (NCT05510089). The inclusion criteria were; (1) diagnosis of MM or lymphoma, (2) defined as a 'poor mobilizer' and (3) aged 18–75 years. The EAP regimen consisted of etoposide 75 mg/m2/day on days 1–2, cytarabine 300 mg/m2 every 12 h on days 1–2 and pegfilgrastim 6 mg on day 6. The primary endpoint of the study was the ratio of patients achieving adequate mobilization (≥2.0 × 106 CD34+ cells/kg). From 1 September 2022 to 15 August 2023, a total of 58 patients were enrolled, 53 (91.4%) achieved adequate mobilization, while 41 (70.7%) achieved optimal mobilization with a median number of cumulative collected CD34+ cells was 9.2 (range 2.1–92.7) × 106/kg and the median number of apheresis per patient of 1.2. The median time from administration of the EAP regimen to the first apheresis was 12 days. Approximately 8.6% of patients required plerixa for rescue, which was successful. Twelve (20.7%) of the 58 patients suffered grade 2–3 infections, while 25 (43.1%) required platelet transfusions. The duration of neutrophil and platelet engraftment was 11 days. Background: Most published reports on SAMD9L‐related ataxia‐pancytopenia syndrome (ATXPC) have emphasized the hematologic findings. Fewer details are known about the progression of neurologic manifestations and methods for monitoring them. Cases: We present six individuals from two families transmitting a heterozygous variant in SAMD9L, exhibiting clinical variations in their hematologic and neurologic findings. Serial motor function testing was used to monitor motor proficiency over a 2 to 3 year period in the proband and his father from Family 1. Conclusions: Our case series focuses on the neurologic progression in patients with heterozygous variants in SAMD9L. Patients with ATXPC should be followed to evaluate a wide range of neurologic manifestations. Serial motor function testing using a standardized method is helpful to track changes in balance and coordination in children and adults with ATXPC and could aid in a future extended natural history study. Introduction: The mechanism of relapsed CD19(−) B‐ALL after anti‐CD19 immunotherapy (Kymriah [CART‐19] and blinatumomab) is under active investigation. Our study aims to assess LILRB1 as a novel B‐cell marker for detecting CD19(−) B‐lymphoblasts and to analyze the clinicopathologic/genetic features of such disease to provide biological insight into relapse. Methods: Six patients (3 males/3 females, median age of 14 years) with relapsed CD19(−) B‐ALL were analyzed for cytogenetic/genetic profile and immunophenotype. Results: CD19(−) B‐ALL emerged after an interval of 5.8 months following anti‐CD19 therapy. Five of six patients had B‐cell aplasia, indicative of a persistent effect of CART or blinatumomab at relapse. Importantly, LILRB1 was variably expressed on CD19(−) and CD19(+) B lymphoblasts, strong on CD34(+) lymphoblasts and dim/partial on CD34(−) lymphoblasts. Three of six patients with paired B‐ALL samples (pre‐ and post‐anti‐CD19 therapy) carried complex and different cytogenetic abnormalities, either as completely different or sharing a subset of cytogenetic abnormalities. Conclusion: LILRB1 can be used as a novel B‐cell marker to identify CD19(−) B lymphoblasts. The emergence of CD19(−) B‐ALL appears to be associated with complex cytogenetic evolutions. The paper examines how central bank communication affects the macro information in analyst forecasts. Using quarterly data of Chinese‐listed firms from 2007 to 2018, we find that richer and more frequent central bank communication increases the macro information contained in analyst forecasts. This effect is realized through the employment of in‐house economists by security firms. In addition, we document that the effect of central bank communication on macroeconomic information in analyst forecasts is more salient under a contractionary monetary policy regime, during a bear market, or when the economic policy is more uncertain. We also show that analyst forecasts are more sensitive to central bank communication when firms that they follow are state‐owned enterprises, have larger leverage ratios, or are located in more developed regions. In addition, analyst forecasts are more susceptible to central bank communication when the communication is in an informal oral format, when the public has more trust in the credibility of the central bank communication, and when the central bank pays more attention to expectation management after 2010. It is vital to develop highly efficient non‐doped blue organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) with high color purity and low‐efficiency roll‐off for applications in display and lighting. Herein, two blue D‐A fluorophores TPA‐PO and TPA‐DPO are designed and synthesized, in which phenanthro[9,10‐d]oxazole (PO) acts as the acceptor and triphenylamine as the donor. TPA‐PO and TPA‐DPO display good thermal stability and efficient luminescence efficiency in neat film. Results based on photophysical property and theoretical calculation demonstrate that TPA‐PO and TPA‐DPO possess the hybridized local and charge‐transfer (HLCT) feature, which can utilize the triplet exciton to achieve highly efficient electroluminance (EL). The non‐doped OLEDs with TPA‐PO/TPA‐DPO as pure emissive layer show the uniform EL emission peak at 468 nm, corresponding to CIE coordinates of (0.168, 0.187) and (0.167, 0.167), respectively. The TPA‐DPO‐based non‐doped OLEDs provide the maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 7.99 % and high exciton utility efficiency of 48.4 %~72.6 %. Moreover, the TPA‐DPO‐based device exhibits low‐efficiency roll‐off, still maintaining the EQE of 6.03 % at the high luminance of 5000 cd m−2. Dynamic BO bonds are often applied to fabricate reversible‐cross‐linking and reprocessable polymer networks due to their high thermodynamic stability and kinetic tunability. However, it is still difficult to tailor boronic ester polymers, which have both excellent mechanical and self‐healing properties in the absence of external stimuli. To address the above challenge, a range of room‐temperature self‐healable vitrimers are prepared by the reactions of various poly(vinyl hydroxyalkyl ether‐alt‐dialkyl maleate) copolymers and 1,4‐phenyldiboronic acid. The dynamic cross‐linking networks offer the as‐prepared vitrimers superior mechanical properties and thermostability. Because of the presence of dynamic boronic ester bonds, the networks also demonstrated self‐healing (the tensile strength recovered to 83% after 3 days at room temperature) and reprocessing capabilities (no significant change in tensile strength after thrice process recycles). Moreover, the vitrimers have potential as promising damping materials with wide temperature windows around room temperature. For example, the vitrimer of poly(ethylene glycol monovinyl ether‐alt‐dibutyl maleate) and 1,4‐phenyldiboronic acid demonstrates its tanδmax 1.18, Tg = 6.2°C and effective damping temperature range is from −16.4 to 48.5°C. High‐performance bio‐based fibers have unique advantages in biocompatibility for biomedical applications, such as sutures, hernia patches, and blood vessels. Herein, strong and tough biofibers based on regenerated silk fibroins (RSFs) are designed by a dual‐crosslinking strategy and prepared continuously in situ via a single‐channel microfluidic device. During the wet spinning process, covalent bonds between tyrosines are introduced by photo crosslinking and coordination interactions of Zn2+ ions with serines are built between RSFs, forming a dual‐crosslinked, and inter‐connected network and effectively improving the mechanical performances of RSF fibers. By optimizing the wet spinning parameters and applying an optimal post‐stretching treatment, dual‐crosslinked RSF fibers exhibit an excellent tensile strength of 891 MPa, a remarkable Young's modulus of 15.0 GPa, a large tensile strain of 20.1%, and an outstanding toughness of 114 MJ m−3, which are superior to other regenerated biofibers. In addition to the outstanding mechanical performances, dual‐crosslinked RSF fibers also possess excellent temperature adaptability, fatigue resistance, biocompatibility, and biodegradability, making them ideal candidates for biomedical applications. Objective: Dual‐plate fixation was thought to be the gold standard for treating complicated bicondylar tibial plateau fractures, yet it was found to be hard to accommodate the posterior column in three‐column fractures. Currently, column‐specific fixation is becoming more and more recognized, but no comprehensive investigation has been performed to back it up. Therefore, the objective of this study was to validate the importance of posterior column fixation in the three‐column tibial fractures by a finite element (FE) analysis and clinical study. Methods: In FE analysis, three models were developed: the longitudinal triple‐plate group (LTPG), the oblique triple‐plate group (OTPG), and the dual‐plate group (DPG). Three loading scenarios were simulated. The distribution of the displacement and the equivalent von Mises stress (VMS) in each structure was calculated. The comparative measurements including the maximum posterior column collapse (MPCC), the maximum total displacement of the model (MTD), the maximum VMS of cortical posterior column (MPC‐VMS), and the maximum VMS located on each group of plates and screws (MPS‐VMS). The clinical study evaluated the indicators between the groups with or without the posterior plate, including operation time, blood loss volume, full‐weight bearing period, Hospital for Special Surgery Knee Scoring system (HSS), Rasmussen score, and common postoperative complications. Results: In the FE analysis, the MPCC, the MPC‐VMS, and the MTD were detected in much lower amounts in LTPG and OTPG than in DPG. In comparison with DPG, the LTPG and OTPG had larger MPS‐VMS. In the clinical study, 35 cases were included. In the triple‐plate (14) and dual‐plate (21) groups, the operation took 115.6 min and 100.5 min (p < 0.05), respectively. Blood loss in both groups was 287.0 mL and 206.6 mL (p < 0.05), and the full‐weight bearing period was 14.5 weeks and 16.2 weeks (p < 0.05). At the final follow‐up, the HSS score was 85.0 in the triple‐plate group and 77.5 in the dual‐plate (p < 0.05), the Rasmussen score was 24.1 and 21.6 (p < 0.05), there were two cases with reduction loss (9.5%) in the dual‐plate group and one case of superficial incision infection found in the triple‐plate group. High‐performance cyanate ester (CE) resins have attracted intensive interests due to low‐k and heat resistant properties. However, the extreme high curing temperature and inherent brittleness severely limit their practical application. Herein, novel biobased poly(N‐phenylmaleimide‐co‐limonene) (PML) microspheres were specially designed and synthesized by self‐stabilized precipitation polymerization, which could simultaneously serve as effective curing agents and toughening modifiers for 2,2‐bis(4‐cyanatophenyl) propane (BADCy). The high density of unreacted endocyclic vinyl groups in PML could effectively react with BADCy, leading to lower curing temperature and good interfacial compatibility. Benefitting from both the weakly polarizable flexible chains and the highly crosslinked semi‐interpenetrating network formed during the curing process, BADCy/PML resins exhibited highly enhanced toughness and reduced dielectric constant (ε). Specifically, the BADCy/PML resins showed minimum values of ε and dielectric loss of 2.61 and 0.0032 at 106 Hz, much lower than BADCy resins (2.88, 0.0052). More importantly, a maximum impact strength of 15.6 kJ/m2 was achieved at 10 wt% loading of PML, which was 86% higher than BADCy resin. In summary, this work developed a novel strategy to simultaneously improve toughness and dielectric properties of CE resins using bio‐based PML copolymer, which have great potential in the fields of electronics and information technology. Herein, low molecular weight poly(vinyl chloride‐co‐n‐butyl acrylate‐co‐vinyl acetate) (PCBV) ternary copolymers with varied copolymer composition was employed as a novel polymeric lubricant in rigid PVC. The lubrication effect of PCBVs on the melting process and mechanical properties of the final PVC products were fully investigated. The results indicated that PCBV can serve either as an internal or as an external lubricant depending on its composition. PCBV‐45.5 terpolymer (PBA% ~ 45.5%) exhibits outstanding balance both internal and external lubricating roles. SEM‐EDS results show that addition PCBV‐45.5 form a film on the surface of PVC grains as similar as that adding both internal and external lubricants. Fusion characteristics and DMTA demonstrate that PCBV‐45.5 prolongs the fusion time (26% extension, 1.5 phr) and reduces the glass transition temperature (4.0 °C, 1.5 phr). Finally, the mechanical properties of rigid PVC have been greatly improved by using 1.5 phr PCBV‐45.5. In detail, the tensile strength increased from 54 to 59 MPa and the elongation at break increased from 10% to 30%, respectively. Meanwhile, the impact strength of PVC/PCBV‐45.5 is 3.6 times that of the blend without addition. Elektron‐Phonon‐Wechselwirkungen, die in kondensierter Materie von entscheidender Bedeutung sind, werden in metallorganischen Gerüstverbindungen (MOFs) selten beobachtet. In Lanthanoid‐ oder Actinoid‐basierten Verbindungen gelingt der Nachweis dieser Wechselwirkungen typischerweise über die Analyse der Lumineszenz. Frühere Studien zu Ln‐ und Ac‐basierten MOFs bei hohen Temperaturen ergaben zusätzliche Lumineszenzsignale, die jedoch zu schwach für eine gründliche Analyse waren. Im Rahmen unserer Untersuchungen haben wir mithilfe eines Schicht‐für‐Schicht‐Verfahrens eine hochgeordnete, kristalline uranbasierte MOF‐Dünnschicht (KIT‐U‐1) hergestellt. Unter UV‐Licht zeigte diese Schicht zwei ausgeprägte „heiße Banden", die auf eine starke Elektron‐Phonon‐Wechselwirkung hinweisen. Während bei 77 K keine Emissionsbanden sichtbar waren, erschien bei 300 K eine Emissionsbande mit der halben Intensität der Hauptbande. Überraschenderweise tauchte oberhalb von 320 K eine zweite, sogenannte heiße Bande auf, die von früheren Ergebnissen aus Seltenerd‐Verbindungen abweicht. Wir haben eine detaillierte ab initio‐Analyse mithilfe der zeitabhängigen Dichtefunktionaltheorie durchgeführt, um dieses ungewöhnliche Verhalten zu verstehen und die für die starke Elektron‐Phonon‐Kopplung verantwortliche Gitterschwingung zu identifizieren. Die heißen Emissionsbanden der KIT‐U‐1‐Schicht wurden dann dazu genutzt, ein hochempfindliches optisches Einkomponenten‐Thermometer zu entwickeln. Electron‐phonon interactions, crucial in condensed matter, are rarely seen in Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Detecting these interactions typically involves analyzing luminescence in lanthanide‐ or actinide‐based compounds. Prior studies on Ln‐ and Ac‐based MOFs at high temperatures revealed additional peaks, but these were too faint for thorough analysis. In our research, we fabricated a high‐quality, crystalline uranium‐based MOF (KIT‐U‐1) thin film using a layer‐by‐layer method. Under UV light, this film showed two distinct "hot bands," indicating a strong electron‐phonon interaction. At 77 K, these bands were absent, but at 300 K, a new emission band appeared with half the intensity of the main luminescence. Surprisingly, a second hot band emerged above 320 K, deviating from previous findings in rare‐earth compounds. We conducted a detailed ab‐initio analysis employing time‐dependent density functional theory to understand this unusual behaviour and to identify the lattice vibration responsible for the strong electron‐phonon coupling. The KIT‐U‐1 film's hot‐band emission was then utilized to create a highly sensitive, single‐compound optical thermometer. Background: Wound healing has long been a subject of great interest for pathologists. Previous research has established the effectiveness of topical application of chitooligosaccharides (COSs) on wound healing. However, studies on their potential usefulness as food additives to improve wound healing are lacking. Objective: Here, we investigated whether dietary supplementation with COSs could promote wound healing using Beagle dogs as an animal model. Methods: Nine dogs were evenly assigned randomly into control, 0.5% COSs and 1% COSs groups. Control dogs were fed with a non‐supplemented dietary formula (vehicle). Dogs in 0.5% COSs and 1% COSs groups were fed with a dietary formula supplemented with 0.5% and 1% COSs. After 8 weeks of feeding, dogs in each group underwent surgery with three matching full‐thickness 2 × 2‐cm skin defects were created with a scalpel on the left side of the dorsal midline, 2 cm apart from each other. Wounds were photographed and the healing percentage was determined on day 0, 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18 and 21. The healing process was assessed by daily gross examination, histologic examination and Masson's trichrome staining on days 7, 14 and 21. Considering the important role of the transforming growth factor‐β (TGF‐β1) signalling pathway in wound healing, immunostaining was used to evaluate TGF‐β1 expression. Results: The results showed that wound healing was accelerated; collagen synthesis and TGF‐β1 expression were enhanced in response to dietary supplementation with COSs. Conclusions: This study makes an original contribution to the understanding of wound healing in dogs and other animals and supports the use of COSs as a supplement to be added to animal diets. In this article, a prediction model based on spatiotemporal stacked ResNet (Res‐STS) for hourly temperature prediction is designed. On the timescale, the Res‐STS removes the gate structure of the long short‐term memory (LSTM) model, and the data of multiple consecutive time nodes are stacked together to preserve all temporal characteristics of the data. A point‐to‐point data mapping relationship is developed on the spatial scale to maximize the impact of large‐scale environmental background field characteristics on a single grid point. Based on the historical gridded data from the China Meteorological Administration land data assimilation system (CLDAS) and the optimal factor dataset of the European Centre for Medium‐Range Weather Forecasts Integrated Forecasting System (ECMWF‐IFS) from 2017 to 2020, hourly temperature prediction models based on convolutional long short‐term memory (ConvLSTM) and Res‐STS model are developed, respectively. Furthermore, the prediction results of the two models in 2021 are compared with the ECMWF‐IFS. The results show that the root mean square error (RMSE) of the prediction results by ConvLSTM and Res‐STS models are both smaller than that of ECMWF‐IFS. Specially, the Res‐STS model performs best: it reduces the RMSE by 20.8% (24.5%) compared with the ConvLSTM (ECMWF‐IFS). Specifically, the RMSE peaks in the afternoon when the daily maximum temperature occurs, while it is relatively smaller at night. Res‐STS demonstrates a significant improvement in forecast performance compared with ECMWF‐IFS, while ConvLSTM's correction during the period of maximum temperature occurrence has been enhanced. Moreover, the forecast performance of the Res‐STS model is least affected by terrain compared with those of the ConvLSTM and ECMWF‐IFS. As an effort to improve toughness of epoxy resins without scarifying their heat resistance, four novel polyether sulphones (PESs) with epoxy groups (PES‐Es) are developed as efficient toughness modifiers of epoxy resins. The influences of PES‐E on the mechanical property, curing kinetics, thermal, and mechanical properties of the diglycidyl ether with bisphenol‐A (DGEBA) are investigated. The impact strength of PES‐E/DGEBA composites is significantly improved from 16.6 to 28.9 kJ m−2 with optimal content of PES‐E. Different from the composites of typical PES and epoxy which have two‐phase structure, PES‐E/DGEBA composites exhibit a single‐phase structure owing to the participation of PES‐E in the curing reaction of epoxy groups and good solubility of PES‐E in DGEBA. Furthermore, the thermal stability of the PES‐E/DGEBA composites is slightly increased compared to the neat epoxy resin due to the formation of crosslinked semi‐interpenetrating polymer networks. The glass transitionnal temperature (Tg) of PES‐E/DGEBA composites is up to about 184 °C, 46 °C higher than the neat epoxy resin with the same hardener, which have great potential in high‐performance composites. Rechargeable sodium‐ion batteries usually suffer from accelerated electrode destruction at high temperatures and high synthesis costs of electrode materials. Therefore, it is highly desirable to explore novel organic electrodes considering their cost‐effectiveness and large adaptability to volume changes. Herein, natural biomass, pristine lignin, is employed as the sodium‐ion battery anodes, and their sodium storage performance is investigated at room temperature and 60 °C. The lignin anodes exhibit excellent high‐temperature sodium‐ion battery performance. This mainly results from the generation of abundant reactive sites (C=O) due to the high temperature‐induced homogeneous cleavage of the Cβ–O bond in the lignin macromolecule. Background: Pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT) with ABO major incompatibility is characterized by transfusion dependent anemia. No standard treatment existed for PRCA following allo‐HSCT yet. Study Design and Methods: We conducted a retrospective study, and reported our experience with the use of avatrombopag and lower dose rituximab to treat five patients with PRCA subsequent to major ABO‐incompatible allo‐HSCT. Results: Five cases of PRCA were identified from 72 patients who underwent allo‐HSCT with major or bidirectional ABO mismatch. Cumulative incidence at Day +60 was 6.9% (5/72) at our center. All donor and recipient blood groups were A+ and O+, respectively. In the first three cases we reported, patients received erythropoietin, plasma exchange, and donor lymphocyte infusion, but none of them had any effect. After 4 weeks of treatment with low dose rituximab (100 mg/week) combined with avatrombopag (40 mg/day), favorable outcomes were obtained. According to the aforementioned experience, Cases 4 and 5 were administered low‐dose rituximab and avatrombopag in 3 months after transplantation, and erythroid response was observed on 3 weeks after treatment. Our patients tolerated low‐dose rituximab and avatrombopag well and experienced rapid efficacy, with a median duration of 3 weeks. Furthermore, no severe infection or thrombocytosis necessitated a dose adjustment. Conclusion: Low‐dose rituximab and avatrombopag may be an effective treatment for patients with PRCA after major ABO‐incompatible allo‐HSCT. This research uses numerical modeling to study the jet cooling properties of hot‐rolled seamless steel tubes under axial movement and circumferential rotation. The orthogonal test is used to examine the effects of axial velocity V, rotation speed R, jet distance S, and jet Reynolds number Re on the surface temperature distribution of steel tubes. The findings demonstrate that the temperature of the steel tube exhibits a "similar sinusoidal function" distribution along the circumference, with various angular frequencies and starting phases as a result of various cooling sites. It is determined that the axial velocity has the greatest influence on the temperature drop during the cooling process of steel tube, followed by the jet Reynolds number, the jet distance, and the rotation speed. When the axial velocity is 0.3–0.7 m s−1, the rotation speed is 30–45 rpm, the jet distance is 75–100 mm, and the jet Reynolds number is 38 000–51 000, the steel tube cooling efficiency is the best. The mathematical models of temperature drop ΔT and axial velocity V, rotation speed R, jet distance S, and Reynolds number Re are established. The maximum deviation of temperature drop between numerical simulation and mathematical model is only 1.02 °C with high prediction accuracy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study investigates the energy signature associated with multiphase flow in porous media displacement regimes. We proposed that net efficiency, as the conversion of external work applied to surface energy generated, provides new insights into the transition of flow regimes. The combined effects of wettability and flow rates on immiscible fluid‐fluid displacement is experimentally investigated using high‐resolution imaging in microfluidic flow cells, which allows for tracking the evolution of interfacial area under applied external work. Our study focuses on the morphology of invasion patterns and the efficiency of conversion of external work to surface energy. The results show that the morphology of invasion patterns under unfavorable displacement condition is sharper than that under favorable displacement condition with larger ratios of length and width for fingers. The efficiency of conversion of external work to surface energy decreases with the increase of contact angles and reduces greatly with the increase of Capillary numbers. With favorable displacement conditions, the efficiency of conversion is consistently higher than that for unfavorable displacement. The trends of external work and surface energy serve as a signature of the transition between different flow regimes, which exhibits alteration especially at low Capillary numbers. The findings highlight the importance of wettability and flow rates in determining the efficiency of fluid‐fluid displacement in porous media. Understanding the energy signature associated with multiphase flow can have implications for various geoscience applications, such as oil/gas recovery, groundwater remediation, and underground energy storage. Specifically, we looked at how the wetness of the material and the rate at which the fluids flow influences the displacement of one fluid by another. We conducted experiments using high‐resolution imaging in small channels to observe the patterns of fluid movement and calculate the energy changes involved. The results showed that the shape of the fluid invasion patterns differed depending on the wetness and the type of fluids used. In some cases, the invading fluid formed long, narrow fingers, while in others, it spread out more evenly. The efficiency of converting external work into surface energy also varied depending on the wetness and flow rates. Higher wetness and lower flow rates generally resulted in higher conversion efficiency. We also found that the signature of external work and surface energy served as indicators of the transition between different flow regimes. By analyzing these energy signals, we were able to determine the nature of the fluid displacement. Understanding how fluids move in porous materials is important for various applications, such as recovering oil and gas, cleaning contaminated groundwater, and storing energy. Developing highly efficient and stable electrocatalysts with large current densities for hydrogen and oxygen evolution is still challenging. Herein, Ni and Fe co‐doped cobalt carbonate hydroxide catalysts were designed in situ on the three‐dimensional porous NiFe foam through a facile one‐step hydrothermal strategy. Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrum, transmission electron microscopy‐element mapping, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and DFT calculations demonstrate that the three‐dimensional NiFe foam substrate not only serves as the porous substrate, which enhances the exposed number of active sites, but also enhances the intrinsic activities of single active sites via introducing Ni and Fe dopants in the cobalt carbonate hydroxide catalyst during the hydrothermal process. The obtained hybrid electrocatalyst can be employed as a highly efficient and stable bifunctional electrocatalyst for the oxygen and hydrogen evolution reactions, with overpotentials of 340 mV and 371 mV at 1000 mA cm−2, respectively. In addition, tests in an alkaline electrolyzer revealed that the current density could reach 1000 mA cm−2 at a voltage of 2 V and maintain stable operation for 100 h. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a major threat to global public health, and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) are widely distributed across humans, animals, and environment. Farming environments are emerging as a key research area for ARGs and antibiotic resistant bacteria (ARB). While the skin is an important reservoir of ARGs and ARB, transmission mechanisms between farming environments and human skin remain unclear. Previous studies confirmed that swine farm environmental exposures alter skin microbiome, but the timeline of these changes is ill defined. To improve understanding of these changes and to determine the specific time, we designed a cohort study of swine farm workers and students through collected skin and environmental samples to explore the impact of daily occupational exposure in swine farm on human skin microbiome. Results indicated that exposure to livestock‐associated environments where microorganisms are richer than school environment can reshape the human skin microbiome and antibiotic resistome. Exposure of 5 h was sufficient to modify the microbiome and ARG structure in workers' skin by enriching microorganisms and ARGs. These changes were preserved once formed. Further analysis indicated that ARGs carried by host microorganisms may transfer between the environment with workers' skin and have the potential to expand to the general population using farm workers as an ARG vector. These results raised concerns about potential transmission of ARGs to the broader community. Therefore, it is necessary to take corresponding intervention measures in the production process to reduce the possibility of ARGs and ARB transmission. With the popularity of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) vaccine and the development of vaccination strategies, the impact of COVID‐19 vaccine on cancer patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) is still unclear. In the systematic review and meta‐analysis of patients with ICIs, we assessed the serological response of cancer patients receiving COVID‐19 vaccine, and explored the risk of immune related adverse events (irAEs). We searched PubMed, EMBASE and Cochrane Library as of 10 June 2023, and included cancer patients who received ICIs and COVID‐19 vaccine. The systematic review and meta‐analysis include cohort study, cross‐sectional study and case report. The outcome included the serological response, Spike‐specific T‐cell response, irAEs and rare adverse events. When possible, the data were analysed by random effect analysis, and the statistical heterogeneity was assessed by Q‐test and I2 statistics. We explored the sources of heterogeneity through L'Abbe plots, Galbraith radial plots, and sensitivity analysis. The publication bias was evaluated by Egger's, Begg's linear regression test and funnel plot, and the impact of publication bias was further analysed by trim and fill method. 27 studies were eligible (19 cohort studies, 1 cross‐sectional study and 7 case reports), involving 8331 patients (with 4724 receiving ICIs). Most studies used mRNA vaccine (BNT162b2 or mRNA‐1273). Compared with cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, cancer patients receiving ICIs were significantly more likely to have seroconversion (RR = 1.05, 95%CI 1.01–1.10, P = 0.02). There were no statistically significant differences in seroconversion rates when comparing cancer patients receiving ICIs with controls without cancer (RR = 0.95, 95% CI 0.89–1.01, P = 0.09) or with cancer patients receiving targeted therapy (RR = 1.05, 95% CI 0.79–1.39, P = 0.75). The incidence of irAEs in patients receiving ICIs before and after COVID‐19 vaccination was (21.96%, 95%CI 16.66%–28.94%) and (14.88%, 95%CI 8.65%–25.57%), respectively. The most common irAEs were endocrine abnormalities, skin disorders, etc. The certainty of evidence was low in cancer patients with ICIs, compared with those receiving chemotherapy, and very low versus controls without cancer. Background: While ivabradine has demonstrated benefits in heart rate control and prognosis for chronic heart failure patients, its application in acute decompensated heart failure remains underexplored. Hypothesis: For patients with acute decompensated heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) who are intolerant to β‐blockers or unable to further titrate their dosage, the use of ivabradine is hypothesized to be effective and safe is improving outcomes. Methods: This retrospective, multicenter database analysis included patients with hospitalized decompensated heart failure with a left ventricular ejection fraction of ≤40% from June 1, 2015 to December 31, 2020. The exclusion criteria were a baseline heart rate of <70 bpm, previous use of ivabradine, mortality during admission, existing atrial fibrillation, or atrial flutter. The primary outcome was the composite of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure. Results: Of the 4163 HFrEF patients analyzed, 684 (16.4%) were administered ivabradine during their index admission. After matching, there were 617 patients in either group. The results indicated that ivabradine use was not significantly associated with the risk of the primary composite outcome (hazard ratio: 1.10; 95% confidence interval: 0.94−1.29). Similarly, the risk of secondary outcomes and adverse renal events did not significantly differ between the ivabradine and non‐ivabradine cohorts (all p >.05). Conclusion: For hospitalized acute decompensated heart failure patients who are intolerant to β‐blockers or cannot further titrate them, ivabradine offers a consistent therapeutic effect. Background: Recently the US Food and Drug Administration has granted variances to select blood centers to supply cold‐stored platelet components (CSP). In hemorrhage resuscitation warming of blood components with approved fluid warming devices is common. Study Design and Methods: Pathogen‐reduced apheresis platelet units were collected and stored in one of two ways: (1) CSP‐I, (2) CSP‐D. CSP‐I were collected and immediately stored at 1–6°C until used. CSP‐D were collected and stored at 20–24°C for 5 days and transferred to storage at 1–6°C until use. Aggregometry using arachidonic acid (AA), adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and collagen as agonists was performed on the unit samples before and after the units were infused through a Ranger blood‐warming device. Results: CSP‐I, 23 units, had very high aggregation responses to all agonists (all ≥47.6 ± 20.7). There was a statistically significant reduction in ADP‐induced aggregometry results from 55.1 ± 23.2 before compared to 33.5 ± 14.6 following infusion of the PLT through the blood warmer (p <.001). There were no differences in AA and collagen aggregometry results before and after the infusion of the platelets through the blood warmer. CSP‐D had 5 of the 15 units with visible clotting in the bag. The 10 CSP‐Ds studied had lower aggregation than all agonists before and after infusion through the blood‐warming device (all ≤49.9 ± 35.9). Conclusion: We detected a statistically significant reduction in ADP‐induced aggregometry in CSP‐I run through a Ranger blood‐warming device with no change with AA or collagen agonist aggregometry. Hole-transporting layer (HTL) plays a critical role in determining the device performance of carbon-electrode-based perovskite solar cells (C-PSCs). However, the use of best-performing organic HTL (such as 2,2',7,7'-tetrakis (N, N-di-p-methoxyphenyl-amine)-9,9'-spirobifluorene [Spiro-OMeTAD] or poly(3-hexylthiophene) [P3HT]) for efficient and stable C-PSCs remains challenging due to the hygroscopic additives, unfavorable band alignments, and corrosive carbon pastes. Herein, the additive-free Spiro-OMeTAD/P3HT composite (denoted as Spiro@P3HT) is employed as HTL to construct the fully ambient solution-processed C-PSCs, and NiOx is used as top HTL/buffer layer that protects P3HT from being corroded by carbon pastes. As compared to pristine P3HT, the incorporation of Spiro-OMeTAD not only smooths the HTL morphology, but also shifts down the highest occupied molecular orbital level, thus forming a more energy-favorable cascade that maximizes hole extraction at the perovskite/HTL interface and minimizes recombination loss. Consequently, the target C-PSCs with optimal Spiro@P3HT composite HTL achieve a champion efficiency of 19%. More importantly, benefiting from the self-sealing protection of hydrophobic Spiro@P3HT HTL and carbon electrode, the target C-PSCs exhibit no noticeable performance degradation after storage in ambient air for 1440 h and continuous operation under illumination for 350 h.
