Background Purpose Methods Results Conclusions Resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs‐fMRI) technology and the complex network theory can be used to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of brain diseases. The successful application of functional brain hypernetworks provides new perspectives for the diagnosis and evaluation of clinical brain diseases; however, many studies have not assessed the attribute information of hyperedges and could not retain the high‐order topology of hypergraphs. In addition, the study of multi‐scale and multi‐layered organizational properties of the human brain can provide richer and more accurate data features for classification models of depression.This work aims to establish a more accurate classification framework for the diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD) using the high‐order line graph algorithm. And accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, F1 score are used to validate its classification performance.Based on rs‐fMRI data from 38 MDD subjects and 28 controls, we constructed a human brain hypernetwork and introduced a line graph model, followed by the construction of a high‐order line graph model. The topological properties under each order line graph were calculated to measure the classification performance of the model. Finally, intergroup features that showed significant differences under each order line graph model were fused, and a support vector machine classifier was constructed using multi‐kernel learning. The Kolmogorov–Smirnov nonparametric permutation test was used as the feature selection method and the classification performance was measured with the leave‐one‐out cross‐validation method.The high‐order line graph achieved a better classification performance compared with other traditional hypernetworks (accuracy = 92.42%, sensitivity = 92.86%, specificity = 92.11%, precision = 89.66%, F1 = 91.23%). Furthermore, the brain regions found in the present study have been previously shown to be associated with the pathology of depression.This work validated the classification model based on the high‐order line graph, which can better express the topological features of the hypernetwork by comprehensively considering the hyperedge information under different connection strengths, thereby significantly improving the classification accuracy of MDD. A distance cartogram is a deformed map where the distance between points conforms to a specific proximity indicator. Its readability is crucial, requiring a similar spatial arrangement of points between the original map and cartogram. Previous studies mainly incorporated angle changes of point pairs into the optimization objective. However, this soft constraint fails to provide high readability for spatial interaction data with numerous points and links. This study emphasizes the significance of maintaining Delaunay triangulation during deformation. To achieve this, topology‐constrained particle swarm optimization (TC‐PSO) is proposed, in which triangle intersections and flipping are prevented during optimization. Additionally, a topology error is introduced to evaluate the difference in triangulation between the original and deformed maps. TC‐PSO outperforms previous approaches by exhibiting the smallest topology error and producing more readable cartograms in simulation experiments and Baidu index data. Surface‐Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) technique is used to fabricate the gas sensor, which is developed for the visualization of the spatial distribution of gas evaporating from odor source. The 3 × 3 SERS sensor array is put on the odor source and then scanned by the home‐made detection system to obtain the Raman spectra of the odor. The intensities of the characteristic peaks from the collected spectra are used to draw a heatmap graph. The multilevel encoding (MLE) scheme is an effective method for improving the anticounterfeiting encryption capabilities of physically unclonable functions (PUFs). However, owing to the correlation between encoding layers, the encoding capacity (EC) is difficult to improve by orders of magnitude. Herein, four noncorrelated structures in the diamond crystal structure (carbon–carbon single bond, defect luminescence structures, spin structures, and electron energy distribution structures) are considered for MLE. First, the microdiamonds containing nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) color centers are embedded into polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) to fabricate PUFs. Using an optical imaging system, four codable images of four noncorrelated structures are read. The noncorrelation of the four‐level encoding structure is verified by calculating the Hamming distance (0.496 ± 0.02). The results show that EC exponentially improves to 24×10 000/(100 pixels)2. Furthermore, the encoding method based on the energy level does not depend on physical structure parameters, such as the size and position of the spin structure. Thus, it is protected from structural modeling attacks, resulting in high security. Moreover, PUF labels based on PDMS flexible substrates can be employed for various flexible applications. In the proposed scheme, the information is encrypted by a four‐level two‐dimensional (2D) barcode and decoded by self‐developed PUF authentication software. Background: Preclinical and epidemiological studies suggest that proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) had a potential effect on the development of SLE, but it was unclear whether a causal relationship exists. We aimed to investigate the association between genetically proxied inhibition of PCSK9 and the risk of SLE using a two‐sample Mendelian randomization (MR) approach. Methods: Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) associated with PCSK9 were extracted from pooled data obtained from the Global Lipid Genetics Consortium (GLGC) Genome‐wide Association Study (GWAS) related to LDL‐c levels, which was used as a proxy for PCSK9 inhibition. Pooled statistics for SLE were obtained from an independent GWAS dataset including 5201 SLE patients and 9066 controls. Inverse variance‐weighted random‐effects models were used to examine the association between genetically proxied inhibition of PCSK9 and the risk of SLE. MR‐Egger, weighted median, weighted mode, Simple mode, and co‐location analyses were used as sensitivity analyses to test the robustness of the analyses. Results: Genetically proxied inhibition of PCSK9 was associated with a reduced risk of SLE (OR = 0.51, 95% CI = 0.34 to 0.77, p =.001). This finding was replicated in an earlier GLGC GWAS analysis (OR = 0.59, 95% CI = 0.40 to 0.87, p =.007). Sensitivity analysis ensured that the results were robust. Co‐localization analysis did not find evidence of shared causal variation between PCSK9 and SLE. Conclusions: This Mendelian randomization study showed that PCSK9 was associated with SLE pathogenesis, and its inhibition was associated with a reduced risk of SLE. A recent article in the journal Insect Science discusses the development of a new CRISPR-dCas9-METTL4 epigenome editing tool that can methylate target regions to achieve site-specific DNA 6mA methylation in the silkworm Bombyx mori. The study investigates the role of 6mA DNA modification in regulating gene expression and explores the molecular mechanism of 6mA in target gene expression. The researchers successfully constructed a dCas9-METTL4 fusion protein and demonstrated its ability to induce site-specific methylation on DNA adenines. There has been increasing application of autologous costal chondral/osteochondral transplantation (ACCT/ACOT) and costa‐derived chondrocyte implantation (ACCI) for articular cartilage repair over the past three decades. This review presents the major evidence on the properties of costal cartilage and bone and their qualifications as grafts for articular cartilage repair, the major clinical applications, and the risks and strategies for costal chondral/osteochondral graft(s) harvest. First, costal cartilage has many specific properties that help restore the articular surface. Costa, which can provide abundant cartilage and cylindrical corticocancellous bone, preserves permanent chondrocyte and is the largest source of hyaline cartilage. Second, in the past three decades, autologous costal cartilage‐derived grafts, including cartilage, osteochondral graft(s), and chondrocyte, have expanded their indications in trauma and orthopaedic therapy from small to large joints, from the upper to lower limbs, and from non‐weight‐bearing to weight‐bearing joints. Third, the rate of donor‐site complications of ACCT or ACOT is low, acceptable, and controllable, and some skills and accumulated experience can help reduce the risks of ACCT and ACOT. Costal cartilage‐derived autografting is a promising technique and could be an ideal option for articular chondral lesions with or without subchondral cysts. Surgical adhesives are crucial for achieving rapid hemostasis and immediate wound management during clinical interventions. However, developing a tissue adhesive that combines instant adhesive strength with biodegradability in dynamic, wet, or hemorrhagic biological environments remains a persistent challenge. Here, a biodegradable supramolecular tissue adhesive with robust instant adhesion to wet tissue surfaces within 5 s is presented. The distinctive synergy of surface‐rich adhesive groups and the hydrophobic main chain enables the adhesive to surmount the hydration layer on the tissue surface, ensuring rapid adhesion. Importantly, the internal structure of this supramolecular adhesive significantly contributes to its exceptional holding adhesion strength. Additionally, in vivo experiments using a rat liver incision model and a skin injury model are conducted. These experiments demonstrate its effectiveness in emergency hemostasis and wound management. Consequently, this supramolecular tissue adhesive exhibits significant potential in surgical applications, addressing critical needs in urgent clinical scenarios and potentially making valuable contributions to the medical field. Harnessing unconventional noncovalent interactions (NCIs) is emerging as a formidable synthetic approach in difficult‐to‐access glycosidic chemical space. C‐Glycosylation, in particular, has gained a flurry of recent attention. However, most reported methods are restricted to the relatively facile access to α‐C‐glycosides. Herein, we disclose a β‐stereoselective glycosylation of indoles by employing a phosphonoselenide catalyst. The robustness of this protocol is exemplified by its amenability for reaction at both the indolyl C‐ and N‐ reactivity sites. In contrast to previous reports, in which the chalcogens were solely involved in Lewis acidic activation, our mechanistic investigation unraveled that the often neglected flanking aromatic substituents of phosphonoselenides can substantially contribute to catalysis by engaging in π‐interactions. Computations and NMR spectroscopy indicated that the chalcogenic and aromatic components of the catalyst can be collectively exploited to foster conformational distortion of the glycal away from the usual half‐chair to the boat conformation, which liberates the convex β‐face for nucleophilic attack. The development of flexible and adaptable multifunctional sensing systems for human–machine interaction, especially for animal voice‐emotion identification, is highly desirable yet quite challenging. Herein, a multifunctional triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) based on ordered hierarchical microhump arrays is proposed and fabricated by template‐assisted electrospinning with a facile, low‐cost, and expandable manufacturing process. Performances of a single‐electrode TENG based on the patterned nanofiber films with microhump arrays (NFM‐TENG) are studied in detail by varying mesh number of the template. Electric field structure of the collector is altered by pore sizes, wire diameters, and protrusions of the receiving templates subjected to different mesh numbers, generating different degrees of microhump arrays on the surface of the nanofiber film. NFM‐TENG demonstrates high sensitivity (15.94 mV Pa−1), fast response and recovery time (76 and 58 ms), a large power density of 122 mW m−2, and excellent ability of structural retention. Integrated with four functions of energy harvesting, pressure sensing, human physiological sensing, and animal voice‐emotion identification, NFM‐TENG achieves real‐time monitoring of human physiological, motion, handwriting, and animal voice‐emotion signals without an external power supply. This study shows significant application strategies for self‐powered human–machine interaction devices, novel animal voice‐emotion identification, biodiversity conservation, and so on. The quantification of plant diversity–productivity relationships is essential for accurate productivity assessments. Global change drivers are altering resource availability and biodiversity. However, the extent to which multiple attributes of diversity (species, functions) buffer community productivity in response to the resource availability changes and the potential driver mechanisms of the diversity‐productivity relationship still needs to be the consensus. We investigated the ephemeral plant diversity–productivity relationships of different attributes along a precipitation gradient in the Gurbantunggut Desert, China. To evaluate the potential mechanisms by which diversity and functional composition affect aboveground productivity (niche complementarity and selection effect). Our results showed that (1) the variance of species richness (SR), Rao's quadratic entropy (RaoQ), community‐weighted mean of height (CWMH), and community‐weighted mean of leaf phosphorus concentration (CWMP) was larger among sites (variation between different sites) than subplots (variation between different subplots). Among subplots, the variance of community‐weighted mean of specific leaf area (CWMSLA), community‐weighted mean of leaf carbon concentration (CWMC), and community‐weighted mean of leaf nitrogen concentration (CWMN) was larger than the sites. (2) SR, RaoQ, CWMC, CWMN, CWMH, pH, and mean annual precipitation (MAP) collectively influenced the accumulation of aboveground biomass (AGB). (3) Species diversity and MAP have strongly affected AGB and accounted for 50% and 42%. The study confirms that SR is the optimal predictor of biomass in ephemeral plants. Complementation effects may be the primary mechanism explaining the relationship between biodiversity and productivity in the Gurbantunggut Desert, and thus the effect of plant diversity cannot be downplayed. Objective: Osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLT) is a common and clinically challenging disease. The optimal management is still under debate. The purpose of this prospective study was to investigate the feasibility and clinical outcomes of autologous costal osteochondral transplantation (ACOT) for the treatment of cystic OLT. Methods: From November 2021 to April 2023, five patients underwent autologous costal osteochondral transplantation (ACOT) for cystic OLT. The demographic data was described, including age, gender, lesion size and location. We prospectively evaluated their functional and imaging outcomes of the five patients for 12 months postoperatively, including numeric rating score (NRS) for pain when walking, Tegner score, American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) score and Foot and Ankle Ability Measure (FAAM) score, and imaging results. A paired t‐test was used for preoperative and postoperative comparison of the paired‐design dataset. Results: The average age was 36.6 ± 11.1 years. The average diameter of chondral lesions was 14.95 ± 2.71 mm, the average diameter of subchondral cysts was 10.66 ± 1.84 mm, and their average depth was 10.40 ± 1.86 mm. At 12 months postoperatively, the clinical function indexes improved significantly, including NRS (from 5.2 ± 2.3 to 0), Tegner score (from 3.2 ± 0.4 to 5.8 ± 0.4), AOFAS score (from 72.8 ± 10.0 to 98.2 ± 4.0), and FAAM score (FAAM/ADL from 61.2 ± 24.7 to 99.3 ± 1.6; FAAM/Sports from 32.5 ± 13.73 to 96.3 ± 8.4). Their magnetic resonance observation of cartilage repair tissue (MOCART) scores reached 78.0 ± 7.6 points. ICRS scores of three patients were nearly normal (10 or 11 points). The biopsy of the surviving grafts showed plenty of hyaline cartilage matrix and scattered chondrocytes histologically. No major severe complications were reported during the 12 months follow‐up. Conclusion: ACOT could significantly relieve the symptoms of patients with OLT and improve their clinical function at short‐term follow‐up. Tectonic activity, geothermal fluids, and microseismic events (MSEs) tend to occur in similar locations as a result of spatiotemporal changes in the subsurface stress state. To quantify this association, we analyze data from a dense seismic array deployed at the San Emidio geothermal field, Nevada for 1 week in December 2016 to coincide with a 19.45‐hr shutdown of all injection and production pumping operations. 123 MSEs were detected, of which 101 occurred during the shutdown. The spatial association of the MSEs with the production wells suggests a causal relationship between the production cessation and the MSEs. Here we performed a detailed analysis to investigate reservoir material properties, distribution of seismically activated faults, and local stress state. We determined the hypocenters, magnitudes, and focal mechanisms for the MSEs, P‐wave tomographic velocity model, and local stress tensor. The results show that most MSEs occurred near the production wells. Magnitudes fall between −2.2 and 0.0 with larger events located closer to the production wells. Most MSEs occurred within a westward‐dipping normal fault zone in the reservoir associated with anomalously low P‐wave velocity values. The focal mechanism and stress inversion results show predominantly normal faulting with the maximum horizontal stress oriented north‐south. We suggest that the MSEs during shutdown were triggered on pre‐existing, small‐scale, critically stressed fault patches in the reservoir as the pore pressure increased around the production wells when the production pumping ceased. We interpret the larger MSE magnitudes closer to the production wells as a result of higher pore pressure increase. In December 2016, a seismic array with 1,302 instruments was deployed at the geothermal field at San Emidio, Nevada, USA to coincide with a 19.45‐hr time interval when all pumping operations were temporarily shut down. The seismic network detected 123 MSEs, of which 101 occurred during the shutdown. To understand the physical mechanism driving these MSEs, we perform a detailed seismic and stress analysis with the seismic data collected at San Emidio in 2016. Our analysis includes estimating the hypocentral locations, magnitudes, and focal mechanisms of the microseismic events, forming 3‐dimensional images of P‐wave velocity via seismic tomography, and calculating the orientations of the principal axes of the local stress tensor. Our results show that most MSEs occurred within a normal fault zone in a fluid‐filled reservoir near the production wells. We suggest that the temporary cessation of production pumping increased the pore pressure, decreased the effective stress on the pre‐existing, critically stressed fault patches and fractures, and thereby enhanced the microseismicity. Studies on the differences between chiral pesticide enantiomers have caused widespread concern in the last decade. In the current work, the selective behaviors and different biological activities of paclobutrazol enantiomers during Chinese cabbage pickling process were evaluated. Results of degradation kinetics indicated that when paclobutrazol reside in raw material (Chinese cabbage) and was introduced into the pickling process, the degradation rates of the two paclobutrazol enantiomers were significantly different, the half‐lives of (2R, 3R)‐paclobutrazol (R‐paclobutrazol) and (2S, 3S)‐paclobutrazol (S‐paclobutrazol) were 18.24 and 6.19 d, respectively. Besides, the conversion between the two enantiomers could also be observed, and the conversion rate of R‐paclobutrazol to S‐paclobutrazol was slower than that of reverse process. In addition, from the analysis of 16S rRNA and ITS sequencing, we inferred that the degradation of paclobutrazol was probably due to the presence of Pseudomonas and Serratia. Moreover, there has a significant difference in biological activity between R‐paclobutrazol and S‐paclobutrazol and shown an obviously enantiomeric effects on microbial community composition of pickling system. Besides, the analysis of microbial community displayed R‐paclobutrazol might inhibit the growth of Erwinia (a sort of plant pathogens). Objective: The aim of this retrospective study was to investigate the influence of vertical platform discrepancies for splinted and non‐splinted adjacent implants on radiographic marginal bone loss (RMBL). Methods: Data from January 2000 to February 2021 were collected from the electronic charts of 156 patients with 337 implants at the UCSF School of Dentistry. Five different implant restoration categories were evaluated for radiographic evidence of proximal RMBL. Patients with (1) two adjacent single crowns, (2) two adjacent splinted crowns, (3) three‐unit bridges supported by two implants, (4) three adjacent single crowns, and (5) three adjacent splinted crowns. Inclusion required baseline radiograph taken at the time of prosthesis delivery or final impression, and follow‐up radiographs at least 12 months after restorations have been in function. Measurements assessed included vertical distance between adjacent implant platforms and proximal RMBL around implants. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) of implants with ≥1 mm RMBL between different type of restorations were calculated. Results: In general, prostheses supported by splinted adjacent implants demonstrated a significant association with the presence of ≥1 mm RMBL (OR = 2.55, 95% CI = 1.17–5.17, p = 0.018) when compared to prostheses supported by non‐splinted adjacent implants. In addition, prostheses with a vertical platform discrepancy ≥0.5 mm demonstrated a significant association with the presence of ≥1 mm RMBL (OR = 4.30, 95% CI = 1.85 to 10.01, p = 0.007) when compared to prostheses with a vertical platform discrepancy <0.5 mm. When adjacent implants had ≥0.5 mm vertical platform discrepancy, the majority (66.67%) of three splinted adjacent crowns had at least one implant with ≥1 mm RMBL. This was followed by two splinted adjacent crowns (58.97%), three‐unit bridge (25.93%), two single adjacent crowns (24.24%), and three single adjacent crowns (18.18%). When adjacent implants had ≥1 mm vertical platform discrepancy, there was an increased percentage of implants with ≥1 mm RMBL. The restorative design associated with the highest percent of implants with bone loss was three splinted adjacent crowns (70%), two splinted adjacent crowns (61.11%), three single adjacent crowns (40%), and three‐unit bridge and two single adjacent implants (21.05%). Three splinted adjacent crowns were significantly associated with ≥1 mm RMBL when compared to three‐unit bridge (OR 6.56, 95% CI 1.59–27.07). Similarly, two splinted crowns were significantly associated with ≥1 mm RMBL when compared to two single crowns (OR = 2.50, 95% CI = 1.08–5.79). Conclusion: Two or three adjacent implants placed with a vertical platform discrepancy, when splinted together, are associated with higherincidence of ≥1 mm RMBL than non‐splinted restorations. The feature size (FS) of inkjet printing is limited by nozzle size and drop spreading, which limits the realization of small optoelectronics devices and 3D microstructures. Some methods can realize small FS, but sacrifice advantages of inkjet technology. For instance, dewetting can reduce FS with all the advantages of inkjet technology kept, but is hard to print wires due to Rayleigh–Plateau instability. To solve these problems, in this paper, freezing and sublimation are introduced to direct inkjet printing wire processes. After optimizing the glycerol amount and adding tert‐butyl alcohol (TBA) in water‐based nanoparticle inks, condensed microwires of PS colloidal nanoparticles, graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets, and silver nanowires (AgNws) with small FS can be printed, respectively, by freezing, sublimation, and evaporation induced nanoparticle self‐assembly (FSE‐INS) mechanism. Using printhead with the nozzle size of 21 µm, the minimum feature size is only ≈2 µm for GO nanosheet samples. The FSE‐INS mechanism shows particle‐dimension dependent structure properties, introduces an additional particle manipulation freedom perpendicular to the substrate with sacrificial vertical solid surfaces, and exhibits great potential to realize small and novel devices and 3D structures, without sacrificing the advantages of inkjet technology. Doping and forming solid solution is an effective approach to tailor densification and grain growth. In this study, submicron Li2(Ti,Zr)O3 solid solution ceramics was successfully fabricated by a modified solid‐state route for the first time. The use of appropriate starting powders can greatly reduce the synthesis temperature, and the preparation of Li2(Ti,Zr)O3 with submicron grain size is possible. The substitution of Ti by Zr will inhibit the phase transition from cubic to monoclinic structure, as well as the grain growth and pore removal. By doping 10‐at.% Zr, the grain size was significantly decreased from several μm to 400 nm at 900°C, which contributes to a high conductivity eight times that of pure Li2TiO3. Moreover, after being heated at 900°C for 10 days, the grain size of Li2(Ti,Zr)O3 only increases to 5 μm; however, the grains of Li2TiO3 grows up to 16 μm with abnormal grain growth. The compositions of Li2(Ti,Zr)O3 are high uniform with no element segregation, indicating the sluggish grain growth rate is caused by the slow diffusion of Zr rather than segregation‐induced solute drag. By adding excess Li and two‐step sintering, the Li‐rich Li2(Ti,Zr)O3 ceramic pebbles with high crush load of 50–60 N and small grain size of 300–500 nm were successfully fabricated. This work demonstrates a simple method for the synthesis of Li2(Ti,Zr)O3, which makes this material more widely accessible for exploration and also help accelerate its engineering application to be an advanced solid breeder. Objective: The effectiveness of autologous osteoperiosteal transplantation (AOPT) for the treatment of large cystic talar osteochondral lesions (OCLs) should be further evaluated, and the postoperative cartilage coverage is questionable. The purpose of this retrospective observational study was to investigate the clinical outcomes of AOPT for the treatment of large cystic talar OCLs and to report second‐look arthroscopic results. Methods: From June 1, 2017, to June 1, 2021, all talar OCLs at our center were reviewed. Painful cystic lesions treated with AOPT were included in the study. The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS; 0–100 points) ankle‐hindfoot score, Foot Function Index (FFI; 0–100 points), visual analog scale (VAS; 0–10 points) score, and Tegner score (0–10 points) were used to describe pain and functional outcomes. Furthermore, complications, patient‐reported satisfaction degrees, imaging results (including computed tomography and magnetic resonance), and second‐look arthroscopic evaluation data were also collected for analysis. Results: A total of 29 cases were eligible for the study, and 26 responded to the latest follow‐up request, with a mean follow‐up duration of 30.2 (range, 12–57) months. The AOFAS score improved from 69.2 ± 10.9 preoperatively to 80.9 ± 10.0 at the latest follow‐up (p = 0.000). The FFI score improved from 30.4 ± 18.4 preoperatively to 16.3 ± 14.0 at the latest follow‐up (p = 0.000). The VAS pain score improved from 4.0 ± 2.1 preoperatively to 2.5 ± 2.0 at the latest follow‐up (p = 0.001). No donor site morbidity was found. The mean postoperative MOCART score was 57.7 ± 9.5. Second‐look arthroscopy showed a fibrillated cartilage‐like surface at the lesion site in most cases, while two cases exhibited a nearly normal surface. Conclusion: The transplantation of osteoperiosteal cylinder autografts taken from the iliac crest for the treatment of large cystic talar OCLs yielded acceptable clinical results. Waterlogging‐sensitive ('ZHC1') and waterlogging‐tolerant ('ZHC2') hot peppers were selected from three years of field investigation. 'ZHC2' could keep growing under waterlogging conditions, its lateral roots were distributed near the water surface, and its stem base grew many adventitious roots and rapidly formed aerenchyma. The chlorophyll content was stable, and the contents of carotenoid and amino acid were significantly greater in 'ZHC2' than in 'ZHC1' under both waterlogging stress and recovery conditions. However, waterlogging stress led to in‐root decay and a significant increase in malondialdehyde content of 'ZHC1'. Using transcriptome analysis, we correlated the functions of many waterlogging‐responsive differentially expressed genes closely with the pathways for reactive oxygen species production, lutein synthesis, auxin signal transduction, and amino acid synthesis, which were consistent with the above growth and physiological data (adventitious root formation and the contents of malondialdehyde, carotenoids and amino acids). Some novel candidate genes related to waterlogging tolerance were also detected. Some drug molecules with strong chemical activity are unstable in the biological environment and difficult to reach the target, so no matter how good the drug is, it cannot completely prove its efficacy. And drugs need good vectors to help them deliver to their target, where they work best. In recent years, covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have been developed for drug delivery applications due to their regular pore structure, good biocompatibility, topological controllability, and modifiability. In the process of drug delivery, COFs have many advantages such as high drug adsorption capacity, good stability in the biological environment, strong targeting of lesions, and weak cytotoxicity. At present, a lot of work using COFs as drug molecular carriers has been reported, and this minireview summarizes the mechanism of COFs drug delivery and related applications in recent years (drug adsorption and release), by which we expect to achieve more ideas for the future design of drug delivery related COFs and push forward the development of COFs in drug delivery. Lamellar 3D structures are beneficial to raise the electrical properties of graphene aerogels like electrical conductivity, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding efficiency (SE) and pressure sensitivity. In this paper, a strategy of 3D printing lamellar graphene aerogel (LGA) based on shear‐thinning and ice‐growth‐inhibition mechanisms is demonstrated. A well‐designed slit extrusion printhead is used to produce shear thinning graphene oxide (GO) water‐based dispersions. Tert‐butyl alcohol is added into GO water‐based dispersions to inhibit ice growth which will destroy the GO flakes arrangement. After freeze‐drying and chemical reduction of the printed GO samples, the lightweight LGAs are prepared. Comparing to the traditional way, the strategy in this paper shows much better size and shape scalable freedom. The LGA exhibits electrical conductivity up to 705.6 S m−1, which is rather high for graphene‐based aerogels. Benefiting from the lamellar structure and high electrical conductivity, the aerogel achieves up to 68.75 dB EMI SE at X‐band with the thickness of 3 mm, while the absolute EMI SE can reach up to 15351.9 dB cm3 g−1. Heart transplantation has become the only 'cure' for end‐stage heart diseases, but acute allograft rejection is the major obstacle to the survival of patients. Our previous studies showed that IL‐35 gene‐modified adipose‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (IL‐35‐ASCs) can effectively inhibit graft rejection and prolong the survival of transplanted hearts in mice. This study further explored the mechanism of IL‐35‐ASCs, especially focusing on the important role of IL‐35‐ASC‐derived exosomes (IL‐35‐ASCexos) in inhibiting acute rejection. IL‐35‐ASCs were constructed in vitro and pretreated with IL‐35 neutralizing antibody and GW4869 (an inhibitor of neutral sphingomyelinase that impairs exosome biogenesis/release). Then, pretreated IL‐35‐ASCs and CD4+ T cells were cocultured in Transwell plates, and changes in regulatory T cells (Tregs) and cytokines were detected. Then, IL‐35‐ASCexos were extracted, identified and analysed, and their immunoregulatory effects on CD4+ T cells were studied through coculture experiments. Finally, IL‐35‐ASCexos were applied to a mouse heart transplantation model to investigate the therapeutic effects on acute rejection of the allograft. The coculture experiment showed that the IL‐35‐neutralizing antibody could not completely block the immunosuppressive function of IL‐35‐ASCs, while GW4869 could effectively reduce their immunoregulatory characteristics. Similar to IL‐35‐ASCs, IL‐35‐ASCexos also have powerful immunosuppressive properties, effectively upregulating the Treg ratio in vivo and in vitro and prolonging graft survival. As the main effectors of IL‐35‐ASCs, these findings highlight the therapeutic potential of IL‐35‐ASCexos in inhibiting acute cardiac rejection of the allograft. Periodontal health in the elderly is influenced by numerous factors, including systemic conditions, patient compliance, age-associated changes, and restorative procedures. The numerous comorbidities seen in the elderly necessitate individualized approaches for treatment planning. In this paper, we review how age, comorbidities, oral hygiene, and restorative dental procedures collectively influence the treatment and management of the periodontium in the elderly. The elderly population is predicted to double in 30 years, which will have an economic impact the dental profession needs to plan for. Preventative and noninvasive treatment, supportive periodontal therapy, and patient-specific maintenance plans are imperative to maintaining oral health in the older population. Multiple coexisting changes, including xerostomia, altered wound healing, altered bone physiology, altered microbiome, and diminished plaque control, can add complexity to periodontal management. Considerations of the patient's general health, the selected periodontal treatment plan, and the selected completed restorative procedures need to be considered. The influence of caries, fixed prosthodontics, partial dentures, shortened dental arch, and implant therapy can have unintended impacts on periodontal health in the elderly. Adverse periodontal outcomes in the elderly can be minimized by carefully assessing the patient's medical history, impact of medications, functional needs, properly finishing and contouring restorations to avoid plaque accumulation, and designing restorations to allow access for hygiene. Partial dentures can be a source of plaque accumulation leading to periodontal disease, caries, and recession around abutment teeth. A shortened dental arch should be considered as a functional and cost-effective alternative to partial dentures. With dental implants, the patient's tissue phenotype, keratinized tissue quantity, risk of peri-implantitis, and patient access for maintaining adequate oral hygiene are all important to consider. Understanding of future changes in drought characteristics is crucial for climate change adaptation and drought impact mitigation. We analysed the projected changes in drought characteristics relative to historical drought conditions in Central Asia using the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index based on both gridded observations and an ensemble of bias‐corrected and spatially disaggregated global circulation models (GCMs) from phase 6 of Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6). The results suggest that precipitation and potential evapotranspiration are projected to increase across Central Asia. Even though the change in wetness may not be significant and robust, a "dry gets drier and wet gets wetter" pattern may emerge in future under different scenarios. Drought events in Central Asia's semi‐arid and arid regions (aridity index <0.5) are projected to become more frequent (>125%), with longer duration (>55%), higher severity (>74%) and intensity (>8%) by the end of the 21st century under four Shared Socioeconomic Pathway (SSP) scenarios. In the coming period of 2021–2050, Central Asia is expected to have more drought events with a longer duration but lower intensity. Comparisons between different SSP scenarios stress the importance of climate change mitigation strategies to avoid more drought occurrence, longer drought duration and higher drought severity. Water injection and Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS) technologies have been used to exploit heat resources from geothermal reservoirs. Detecting spatial and temporal changes in reservoir physical properties is important for monitoring reservoir condition changes due to water injection and EGS. Here, we determine high‐resolution models of the temporal changes in the three‐dimensional P wave velocity and attenuation (Vp and Qp) structures between the years 2005 and 2011 in the northwestern part of The Geysers geothermal field, California, using double‐difference seismic velocity and attenuation tomography. The northwest Geysers has a shallow normal temperature reservoir (NTR) underlain by a high temperature reservoir (HTR) that has substantial underutilized heat resources but may be more fully utilized in the future through EGS. In the southeastern part of the northwest Geysers, however, EGS has been successfully but unintentionally applied for at least 50 years because the waters injected into the NTR have been flowing into the HTR. Our models are well resolved in this area and show that the NTR and HTR have different seismic responses (seismicity, Vp, and Qp) to water injection, which can be explained by the injection‐induced differences in fracturing and saturation that are likely related to their geological properties. Our results indicate that the joint analysis of changes in seismicity, velocity, and attenuation is valuable for characterizing changes in reservoir fracturing and saturation conditions. Our results suggest that high‐permeability zones and/or pre‐existing permeable fault zones are important for the success of EGS at The Geysers and potentially other geothermal systems. To exploit heat energy from the hot, dry but impermeable rocks, water injection technology can be used to create permeability and increase fluid saturation. Monitoring changes in material properties of reservoirs due to water injection and EGS is important for evaluating and adjusting the production and injection strategies. Here, we use seismic tomography to image temporal changes in the three‐dimensional subsurface seismic velocity and attenuation structures of the northwestern part of The Geysers geothermal field, California. Background and Aim: The bend angle of a lighted stylet is an important factor for successful orotracheal intubation. The aim of this study was to test the differences in the success of endotracheal intubation using lighted stylet with 70° versus 90° bend angles in children aged 4–6 years with normal airways. Methods: A total of 136 children with normal airways required orotracheal intubation were enrolled and were randomly allocated to the 90° or 70° bend angle groups. The first‐attempt success rate was assessed as the primary outcome. The intubation time, lighted stylet search time, lighted stylet withdrawal time, hemodynamic responses, and perioperative complications were recorded as secondary outcomes. Results: All intubations were completed within three attempts (the 90° group, 63/5/0; the 70° group, 55/11/2). The first‐attempt success rate was higher in the 90° group than that in the 70° group (92.6% [63/68 patients] versus 80.9% [55/68 patients], respectively; risk ratio, 1.15; 95% CI, 1.01–1.31; p =.04). Esophageal entry occurred in nine of 83 intubation attempts in the 70° group and two of 73 intubation attempts in the 90° group (risk ratio, 1.09; 95% CI, 1.01–1.19; p =.04). The intubation time and the lighted stylet search time were significantly shorter in the 90° group than that in the 70° group (intubation time: 12.2 ± 2.0 s versus 14.9 ± 2.6 s, respectively; mean difference, 2.65; 95% CI, 1.87–3.43; p <.01; effect size, 1.16; lighted stylet search time: 5.4 ± 1.0 s versus 8.0 ± 1.6 s, respectively; mean difference, 2.66; 95% CI, 2.21–3.12; p <.01; effect size, 1.95). Fabrication of a highly porous sulfur host and using excess electrolyte is a common strategy to enhance sulfur utilization. However, flooded electrolyte limits the practical energy density of Li–S pouch cells. In this study, a novel Fe0.34Co0.33Ni0.33S2 (FCN) is proposed as host for sulfur to realize Ah‐level Li–S full cells demonstrating excellent electrochemical performances under 2 µL mg−1 lean electrolyte conditions. Moreover, Kelvin probe force microscopy shows that the FCN surface contains positive charge with a potential of ≈70 mV, improving the binding of polysulfides through Lewis acid base interaction. In particular, the FCN@S possesses inherent electrochemical activity of simultaneous anionic and cationic redox for lithium storage in the voltage window of 1.8–2.1 V, which additionally contributes to the specific capacity. Due to the low carbon content (≈10 wt%), the sulfur loading is as high as ≈6 mg cm−2, approaching an outstanding energy density of 394.9 and 267.2 Wh kg−1 at the current density of 1.5 and 4 mA cm−2, respectively. Moreover, after 60 cycles at 1.5 mA cm−2, the pouch cell still retains an energy of 300.2 Wh kg−1. This study represents a milestone in the practical applications of high‐energy Li–S batteries. LipidSearch is a useful tool to analyse lipid profiles in tissues. In this work, a liquid chromatography‐mass spectrometry‐LipidSearch‐based manual comparative analysis method was built to analyse the effects of thermal processing methods (steaming, boiling and roasting) on long‐chain free fatty acid species in tilapia muscles. Then, the fatty acid profiles of raw and thermal processed tilapia muscles were analysed. About 66 fatty acid species were present in the raw, steamed, boiled and roasted tilapia muscles, and only five fatty acid species had higher sensitivity in positive ionisation mode than negative ionisation mode of mass spectrometry. Thermal processing mainly had no obvious effects on the amounts of about 60% free fatty acid species. Two, two, five and twelve fatty acid species could be the best potential biomarkers for differentiation of raw, steamed, boiled and roasted, respectively, tilapia muscles in our experiments. This work could provide a workflow of LipidSearch analysis and basic information on the effect of thermal processing on the long‐chain free fatty acid profile of foods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study, a graphene oxide (GO) membrane is developed for the separation of p‐xylene (PX, 0.58 nm) from o‐xylene (OX, 0.68 nm). Attributing to the suitable d‐spacing size (0.58 nm), the GO membrane allows more PX to pass through than OX, leading to a high PX/OX selectivity. At 110 °C for the separation of equimolar PX/OX mixture, the PX/OX separation factor is 9.4 and PX flux is 145.3 g m−2h−1, respectively, which is promising for the separation of xylene isomers by pervaporation. Li4Ti5O12 (LTO) attracts great interest due to the "zero strain" during cycles but the poor electronic and ionic conductivity critically impede the practical application. Herein, we report a synergy strategy of tuning localized electrons to shift Fermi level and band gap by Mg/Zr co‐doping and oxygen vacancy incorporation, which significantly improves Li+ and electronic transport. More importantly, the intrinsic synergistic mechanism has been revealed by neutron diffraction, X‐ray absorption spectra, and first‐principles calculations. The "elastic effect" of lattice induced by Mg/Zr co‐doping allows LTO to accommodate more oxygen vacancies to a certain degree without a severe lattice distortion, which largely improves the electronic conductivity. Mg/Zr co‐doping and oxygen vacancy incorporation effectively enhanced the dynamic characteristics of LTO electrode, achieving the excellent rate performance (90 mAh/g at 20C) and cycle stability (96.9% after 500 cycles at 10C). First‐principles calculations confirm Fermi level shifts to the conduction band, and the band gap becomes narrowed due to the synergistic modulation, and the intrinsic mechanism of the enhanced electronic and Li‐ion conductivity is clarified. This study offers some insights into achieving the fast Li+ insertion/extraction by tuning the crystal and electronic structure with lattice doping and oxygen vacancy engineering. Previous investigations have implicated the basolateral amygdala (BLA) epigenetic mechanisms in the pathophysiology of depression. SIRT1 is a NAD+‐dependent class III histone deacetylase, widely expresses in BLA. However, epigenetic mechanisms in the BLA under the regulation of SIRT1 in the depression are largely uncharacterized. Under the chronic unpredictable chronic mild stress (CUMS) mouse model, we used adeno‐associated viral vectors (AAV) that encoded SIRT1‐shRNA or SIRT1 to specifically knockdown or overexpress SIRT1 in BLA neurons, respectively. CUMS procedure induced significant depression symptoms including the decreased sucrose preference, the less bodyweight gained, the decreased immobile latency and the increased immobile time both in forced swim test (FST) and tail suspension test (TST). Knockdown of SIRT1 in BLA glutamatergic neurons reversed these depression‐like behaviors and restored the synaptic abnormalities. Overexpression of SIRT1 in BLA glutamatergic neurons induced depression‐like behaviors in non‐stressed control mice. The result of protein expressions and ultrastructural changes were consistent with the behavioral results. Our study suggested that downregulation of SIRT1 in BLA has certain beneficial effect on CUMS‐induced depression‐like behaviors such as anorexia, anhedonia, hopelessness and despair. In addition, the increased expression of SIRT1 may be the immediate cause of depressive‐like symptoms. The abnormal expression of SIRT1 may affect the transcriptional regulation mechanism and signaling protein acetylation, affecting neuroplasticity and ultimately contribute to MDD. MnCo2O4 is derived from a Co/Mn bimetallic metal‐organic framework (MOF). Then Ni‐MOF is directly grown on the surface of the obtained MnCo2O4 to form a nano‐flower structure with small balls. A large surface area, abundant active sites of MnCo2O4 and porosity of Ni‐MOF allow the prepared MnCo2O4/Ni‐MOF composite material to deliver an excellent electrochemical performance. At the same time, an appropriate thermal treatment temperature of the MnCo2O4 precursor is also very important for controlling the morphology of the obtained MnCo2O4 and electrochemical performances of the resulted composite material including electric conductivity, specific capacitance and rate performance. The prepared MnCo2O4‐600/Ni‐MOF shows an ultrahigh rate performance (when the current density increases from 1 to 10 A g−1, the capacitance retention rate is as high as 93.41 %) and good cycle stability (the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor advice delivers a capacitance retention rate of 94.74 % after 20 000 charge and discharge cycles) as well as a relatively high specific capacitance. This study aimed to investigate the effect of cell surface CD47 downregulation on ischaemia‐reperfusion injury (IRI) during pig liver transplantation. Blood samples were collected from healthy miniature Bama pigs randomly and equally divided into CD47 antagonism (group A), without CD47 antagonism (group B) and a sham group (group C). Blood samples were collected from groups A and B at 0, 8 and 48 hours after establishment of the new liver through an indwelling tube in the right internal jugular vein. Blood samples were collected at the same time points after liver dissociation from group C. The expression of interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) and tumour necrosis factor‐α (TNF‐α) was detected by enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); CD47 expression was detected by Western blot; and liver function indices, including alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartic transaminase (AST), were directly read by an automatic biochemical analyzer. The concentrations of both receptors in group A were significantly lower than groups B and C, at 8 and 48 hours after establishment of blood flow. At 8 and 48 hours in the new liver stage, the values of CD47 levels, ALT and AST in group A were significantly reduced compared to groups B and C (P < 0.05). The levels of CD47 in the three groups were consistent with the trends of the aforementioned observation indicators. The liver functions of the recipients were significantly improved by reducing the release of the inflammatory mediators. 2D layered materials have sparked great interest from the perspective of basic physics and applied science in the past few years. Extraordinarily, many novel stacked structures that bring versatile properties and applications can be artificially assembled, as exemplified by vertical van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures, twisted multilayer 2D materials, hybrid dimensional structures, etc. Compared with the ordinary synthesis process, the stacking technique is a powerful strategy to achieve high‐quality and freely controlled 2D material stacked structures with atomic accuracy. This review highlights the most advanced stacking techniques involving the preparation, transfer, and stacking of high‐quality single crystal 2D materials. Apart from the 2D–2D stacked structures, 2D–0D, 2D–1D, and 2D–3D structures offer a prospective platform for the increasing application of 2D materials. The assembly strategy and physical properties of these stacked structures strongly depend on the factors in the stacking process, including the surface quality, angle control, and sample size. In addition, comparative analysis tables on the techniques involved are also available. The summary of these strategies and techniques will hopefully provide a valuable reference for relevant work. Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of the postoperative long‐term effect of the treatment of single‐level cervical spondylosis through anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) and artificial cervical disc replacement (ACDR). Methods: This is a retrospective contrastive study, which was conducted for the period of January 2007 and January 2009 at the Department of Spine Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University. A total of 113 patients were divided into two groups depending on the operation method: ACDF group (fusion group, n = 66) and ACDR group (replacement group, n = 47). The ACDR group comprised of 23 males and 24 females. The age of these patients ranged from 31–60 years, with an average age of 42.89 ± 6.30 years. The ACDF group comprised of 38 males and 28 females. The age of these patients ranged from 28–73 years old, with an average age of 49.38 ± 9.89 years old. The evaluation index included the visual analogue scale (VAS), neck disability index (NDI), range of motion, dysphagia, adjacent vertebral disease, and related complications (prosthesis displacement, heterotopic ossification, etc.). Results: A total of 113 patients met the inclusion criteria, and these patients receive more than 96 months of follow‐up. The VAS and NDI of these two groups of patients significantly improved, when compared with those before the operation. In the last follow‐up visit, the range of motion in the ACDR group and ACDF group was 43.22 ± 3.58 and 32.54 ± 2.82, respectively, and both are significantly different comparing to the values measured before the operation (P < 0.05). The dysphagia incidence of the ACDR group was higher than that of the ACDF group at the 36th month, but was lower than that of the ACDF group in other points time. In the last follow‐up visit, six patients (12.77%) in the ACDR group and 18 patients (27.27%) in the ACDF suffered from adjacent segment degeneration (ASD). The general complication rate in the replacement group and fusion group was 38.31% and 37.88%, respectively, but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Overall, the clinical efficacy and related complication rate of single‐level cervical spondylosis after an anterior cervical approach operation was superior in the ACDR group when compared to the ACDF group. Pesticide residues in food can bring potential risks to human health and has been widely concerned in recent years. In the current study, the influence of paclobutrazol, which resided in raw material (grape) on wine fermentation process, were investigated. The degradation kinetic results indicated that the enantiomers of paclobutrazol not be degraded during 30 days of fermentation process. In order to achieve the fermented microorganism information of diversity, community composition, and function, the analysis of 16S rRNA and ITS sequencing were performed. Results demonstrated that the dominant microorganisms multiplied and the microbial diversity in the samples decreased as the fermentation process progresses. Furthermore, the paclobutrazol stimulated the growth of Pichia, which was observed during wine fermentation and which may have an underlying impact on the quality of the wine. The above results inferred that paclobutrazol residue could disturb the microbial community stability during wine fermentation, and the stable existence of paclobutrazol will cause potential risks to food safety and human health. In this work, we have successfully devised a method to investigate the influences of pesticide residues in raw materials during food processing and conclusions from this study could provide basis for dietary risk assessment. These macrocycles contain two thiourea and two chiral diamine moieties and dimerize with sulfate to form a sandwich‐like assembly. The macrocycles then adopt an extended conformation and reciprocally complement the hydrogen‐bonding interaction sites. Inspired by the guest‐induced dynamic assembly, these macrocycles catalyze the decarboxylative Mannich reaction of cyclic aldimines containing a sulfamate heading group. The imine substrate can be activated toward nucleophilic attack of β‐ketoacid by a cooperative hydrogen‐bonding network enabled by sulfamate‐induced dimerization assembly of the macrocycle catalysts. Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common forms of arthritis world widely. Some key genes and diagnostic markers have been reported due to the development of modern molecular biology technologies. However, the etiology and pathogenesis of OA remains unknown. In this study, an integrated network and pathway analysis towards the biological function of OA‐associated genes was conducted to provide valuable information to further explore the etiology and pathogenesis of OA. A total of 2,548 genes which reported a statistically significant association with OA were screened. An integrated network and pathway analysis was performed to identify the pathways and genes most associated to OA. Moreover, OA‐specific protein–protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed by cytocluster based on the Molecular Complex Detection Algorithm (MCODE) to screen its candidate biomarkers. Quantitative real‐time polymerase chain reaction was used to confirm the expression levels and to validate the results of MCODE cluster analysis by six genes. The pathway networks suggested that extracellular matrix (ECM) organization, collagen degradation and collagen formation showed important associations with OA. In top two PPI clusters, 61 of the OA‐associated genes were included in the OA‐specific PPI network, which also included 23 candidate genes that are likely to be highly associated with OA based on MCODE clusters. Analysis of mRNA showed that the expression levels of COL9A1, COL9A2, ITGA3, COL9A3, ITGA2, and LAMA1 in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells of OA patients were significantly lower than those of the normal controls (p<0.005). To our knowledge, this is the first comprehensive and systematic report based on OA‐related genes demonstrating that the functional destruction of collagen in cartilage may be a very important contributing factor to OA. Quantitative detection of collagen synthesis may be of great help in early identification and prediction of OA. Asymmetric arylation of secondary phosphine oxides (SPOs) has been rapidly developed, while there are few theoretical studies reported. DFT computations were carried out to study the whole catalytic cycle of Pd/Xiao‐Phos‐catalyzed asymmetric arylation of SPOs, and a modified mechanism including tautomerization and arylation was presented. Some new tautomerization mechanisms have been traversed, including base‐assisted and Pd/Xiao‐Phos‐catalyzed tautomerization. These are different from the existing report, where base‐assisted tautomerization is the most favored. The resulting intermediate enters the downstream arylation directly. Furthermore, oxidative addition is identified as the enantioselectivity‐determining step. IGMH analysis results indicate that the different non‐bonding interactions between Xiao‐Phos and SPO parts determine the enantioselectivity. This work not only provides deeper insights into the self‐adaptive property of SadPhos ligands but also offers valuable guidance for ligand design. This article presents a frequency measurement method for spatial microwave signals with solid‐state atom resonance, performing measurements based on the burnt hole in spectrum with two microwave fields acting on nitrogen vacancies (NVs) simultaneously. The population on |0⟩ of the NV color center in the ground state affected by the resonance of two microwave fields with similar frequencies responds excellently to external microwave frequencies, and a phenomenon named hole burning occurs. The full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the resonant peak at the hole is 18.9 kHz. When microwaves of different frequencies are applied, the resonant peak precisely follows the signal frequency in the experiment. Subsequently, the resonant peak is processed using the differential method to obtain a frequency measurement error on the order of 100 Hz. The spatial resolution of this method is within the millimeter scale. A nanocomposite of HKUST‐1 (MOF) and electroreduction graphene oxide (ERGO) is prepared and applied as an electrochemical sensor for the simultaneous determination of paracetamol and dopamine by means of one‐step electrodeposition. The MOF/ERGO composite displays excellent electrochemical catalytic activities towards the paracetamol and dopamine, which is attributed to the synergistic effect of big surface area, porosity and high electrocataytic activity of the MOF and good conductivity of ERGO. The modified electrode could be applied to determine simultaneously paracetamol and dopamine in biochemical samples with wide linear ranges (0.2 μM to 160 μM for paracetamol and 0.2 μM to 300 μM for dopamine) and low detection limits (0.016 μM for paracetamol and 0.013 μM for dopamine). A new and concise protocol for selective reduction of N,N‐dimethylamides into aldehydes was established using sodium hydride (NaH) in the presence of sodium iodide (NaI) under mild reaction conditions. The present protocol with the NaH‐NaI composite allows for reduction of not only aromatic and heteroaromatic but also aliphatic N,N‐dimethylamides with wide substituent compatibility. Retention of α‐chirality in the reduction of α‐enantioriched amides was accomplished. Use of sodium deuteride (NaD) offers a new step‐economical alternative to prepare deuterated aldehydes with high deuterium incorporation rate. At present, applications of covalent organic frameworks (COFs), a class of novel crystalline porous materials fabricated by organic structural blocks only containing light elements such as C, H, N, O and B through strong covalent bonds, in electrochemical sensing have entered a period of rapid development and showed great potential in various analytical fields such as environmental analysis, food analysis, pharmaceutical analysis, biological and clinical analysis owing to their unique advantages including regular porosity, large specific surface area, periodical ordered structure, extended π‐conjugated system, abundant functional groups and outstanding thermal and chemical stability. But there are still many concerns that need to be urgently solved for further electrochemical sensing application including improvement of electric conductivity and enhancement of selectivity. Limited by poor conductivity and low recognition ability of primitive COFs, they always need to be further functionalized. To further promote the development of COFs‐based electrochemical sensing technology, here, we summarize and review the recent advances on construction of two‐dimensional functional COFs materials for electrochemical sensing applications and related sensing device setups in detail, including design strategies, preparation methods, modification considerations, sensing principles and analytical applications, and tentatively propose development prospects and outlooks in future.
