Realistically representing the Arctic amplification in global climate models (GCMs) represents a key to accurately predict the climate system's response to increasing anthropogenic forcings. We examined the amplified Arctic warming over the past century simulated by 36 state‐of‐the‐art GCMs against observation. We found a clear difference between the simulations and the observation in terms of the evolution of the secular warming rates. The observed rates of the secular Arctic warming increase from 0.14 °C/10a in the early 1890s to 0.21 °C/10a in the mid‐2010s, while the GCMs show a negligible trend to 0.35 °C/10a at the corresponding times. The overestimation of the secular warming rate in the GCMs starts from the mid‐twentieth century and aggravates with time. Further analysis indicates that the overestimation mainly comes from the exaggerated heating contribution from the Arctic sea ice melting. This result implies that the future secular Arctic warming may have been over‐projected. The last decade has witnessed rapid developments in aggregation‐induced emission (AIE). In contrast to traditional aggregation, which causes luminescence quenching (ACQ), AIE is a reverse phenomenon that allows robust luminescence to be retained in aggregated and solid states. This makes it possible to fabricate various highly efficient luminescent materials, which opens new paradigms in a number of fields, such as imaging, sensing, medical therapy, light harvesting, light‐emitting devices, and organic electronic devices. Of the various important features of AIE molecules, their self‐assembly behavior is very attractive because the formation of a well‐defined emissive nanostructure may lead to advanced applications in diverse fields. However, due to the nonplanar topology of AIEgens, it is not easy for them to self‐assemble into well‐defined structures. To date, some strategies have been proposed to achieve the self‐assembly of AIEgens. Herein, we summarize the most recent approaches for the self‐assembly of AIE molecules. These approaches can be sorted into two classes: 1) covalent molecular design and 2) noncovalent supramolecular interactions. We hope this will inspire more excellent work in the field of AIE. Coacervation plays an important role in the molecular assembly towards soft materials with a diversity of function (e. g., underwater adhesives of mussels and membraneless organelles). Coacervation is observed when one homogenous solution spontaneously separates into two immiscible liquid phases of low and high solute concentration, also known as liquid‐liquid phase separation (LLPS), which enables spatiotemporally local concentration of specific molecules. LLPS is a common physical phenomenon in aqueous solutions of polyelectrolytes, surfactants and biomolecules, which has been extensively explored for applications in the fields of environmental remediation, cosmetic formulation, protein purification, extractive fermentation and pharmaceutical microencapsulation. This review summarizes the development of LLPS with low molecular weight amphiphiles to construct simple and complex coacervates using conventional surfactants and novel amphiphiles such as azobenzene‐derivatives and peptides. Transient structures play a wide range of vital roles in biological systems. Different from static structures that form the skeleton of bio‐tissues, transient structures only occur at certain spatial and temporal scales to undertake their duties in the life circle. Despite the significant progress in the field of artificial molecular self‐assembly studies, it still remains challenging to construct functional transient structures. Herein, the shaping of transient coordinating self‐assembled structures and their fluorescence is reported via host‐guest interaction that disfavors the assembly. The host‐guest interaction between the luminescent ligand and cyclodextrin drastically changes the kinetics of the coordinating self‐assembly, enabling the formation of transient structures. Different from the static equilibrium one with typical monomer emission in the UV region, the transient self‐assembly forms excimers, leading to visible emission. More intriguingly, the life cycle of the transient structures can be easily modulated by varying the host‐guest ratio, ligand‐metal ratio, as well as temperature. This makes it possible to create living patterns that mimic the growth of plants at different life stages. It is therefore envisioned that the creation of transient molecular self‐assembly will open a new paradigm in the field of molecular self‐assembly featuring advanced materials with dynamic functions. Repeated programmability has emerged as a desired property in smart device engineering, but the programmability will fatigue upon repeated applications due to the unmatched mechanical property between the layer materials and the polymeric glue that is required to integrate the two individual oriented layers. It is reported here that glue‐free antifatigue programmable laminate materials can be made with films resulted from solid‐phase molecular self‐assembly (SPMSA). The SPMSA films are created by squeezing the precipitates of oppositely charged polyelectrolytes and DTAB with a noodle machine, where the hydrophobic DTAB molecules self‐assembled into wormlike micelles and oriented along the squeezing direction. The surface molecules in this film are endowed with sufficient mobility in the presence of hydration water, so that two such films are able to be pressed into a laminate material owing to the hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions between the molecules on the two adjacent surfaces. As the water evaporated gradually, the left laminate materials are glue‐free with the same composition. When many of such films are integrated with specific designs, complicated shape programming is able to be achieved, and the programmability is reversible without fatigue. As one of the most common reasons for slippery roads in wintertime, hoar frost can reduce surface friction and affect traffic safety. The risk of winter road hoar frost is subjected to changes in the warming climate. A better understanding of these changes could lead to improved forecasting of hoar frost risk and provide information to policymakers in making climate adaptation strategies. In this work, the decadal variation in winter road hoar frost risk between 2000 and 2016 in Sweden was examined by using in situ observations from 244 stations in the Swedish Road Weather Information System. Results show that hoar frost risks have decreased in the south of Sweden (south of 59°N), whilst increasing in central Sweden (approximately 59°–65°N). Hoar frost risk tends to increase (decrease) in regions where there is a relatively high (low) mean number of hoar frost risk days. Further analysis indicates that the strengthened winter North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) over the last few decades, which resulted in warmer and wetter winters in Sweden, is the main cause of the changes. During strong positive NAO winters, the frequency of blocking anticyclones centred to the south‐west of Sweden significantly decreased and led to more warm and moist air from south‐west being transported to Sweden. The reduction in hoar frost risk in the southern part of Sweden is mainly due to an increase in road surface temperature, while the increasing hoar frost risk in central Sweden is dominated by the increase in relative humidity, which favours the occurrence of hoar frost. Clusterization‐triggered emission is emerging as a powerful strategy leading to useful luminescence such as room‐temperature phosphoresce (CTE‐RTP), yet people's recognition on CTE‐RTP is still very limited, so that it remains challenging to achieve multicolor CTE‐RTP due to the difficulty in tailoring the clustering state of the atoms with lone pair electrons. The authors report that phosphorescence resonance energy transfer (PRET) can occur in the CTE‐RTP system, which enables fine‐tuning the color of the CTE‐RTP. Since the CTE‐RTP is a broad band in the range of 400–700 nm, and the dipole orientations are diverse in the CTE material, PRET can always occur between the CTE‐RTP and arbitrary fluorescent dyes to obtain delayed fluorescence ranging from green to near infrared. Because the lifetime of the delayed fluorescence depends on their molecular structure, dynamic afterglow can be facilely achieved in the ensemble of a PRET‐CTE‐RTP system, making it very appealing in anticounterfeiting. Community detection is an important methodology for understanding the intrinsic structure and function of complex networks. Because overlapping community is one of the characteristics of real-world networks and should be considered for community detection, in this article, we propose an algorithm, called link-based label propagation algorithm (LinkLPA), to detect overlapping communities. Because the link partition is conceptually natural for the problem of overlapping community detection, LinkLPA first transforms node partition problem into link partition problem and employs a new label propagation algorithm with preference on links instead of nodes to detect communities due to the simplicity and efficiency of label propagation algorithm. Then the proposed LinkLPA performs a postprocessing to refine the detected overlapping communities by avoiding over-overlapping and incorrect partition of weak ties. Experimental results on a large number of real-world and synthetic networks show that the proposed method achieves high accuracy on detecting overlapping communities in networks. Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) enabled by chiral self‐assembly is very promising in diversified applications. However, temperature‐triggered disassembly or self‐assembly transition often results in reduction or even silence of CPL. Here, a strategy of coordinating self‐assembly is reported that offers temperature enhanced and retainable CPL that is resistant to further temperature variation. Upon co‐assembling commercial dyes with the coordinating hydrogel of cholate‐calcium, the chirality transfer from cholate to the dyes allows generation of CPL. With increasing temperature, the CPL intensity can be enhanced 4 times and the emission dissymmetry factor gem can be promoted from 0.04 to 0.1, then they remain stable either upon further elevating or lowering temperature. Mechanism study reveals that increasing temperature has triggered the coordination transition between the carbonate groups and Ca2+ from the metastable bidentate chelating to the thermal stable bridging mode, which drives the transition from flexible nanohelices to stiff helical bunches. This promotes the alignment of the dyes and in the meantime decreases its mobility, thus leads to increased CPL intensity and gem. Photo‐triggered chromism has emerged as critically important in materials for advanced soft photonic devices. The conventional photochromic units with reversible color change between two isomers are unstable either thermally or photochemically, which is an important challenge for long‐standing optical devices. Here, a novel photo‐enhanced coordination mechanism leading to stable chromism is reported. Upon tethering the aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) moiety diphenyldibenzofulvene (PBF) to a dicarboxylic pyridine group, photo‐irradiation triggers the coordination transition between the carbonate groups and Mg2+ from bidentate to the more stable bridging mode, which further influences the conformation of the remote PBF group, leading to transition of the emission color from cyan to yellow. Under ambient conditions, both coordinating isomers display excellent thermal and photochemical stability. As a result, the photo writings on the films based on the coordinating AIE materials exhibit the long‐term stability, which barely fades even upon heating, vapor fuming, or day‐light exposure. The co‐assembly of spherical colloids and surfactant–cyclodextrin microtubes yields a library of dynamic colloid‐in‐tube structures, including helices. In a wide range of graph analysis tasks such as community detection and event detection, densest subgraph mining is important and primitive. With the development of social network, densest subgraph mining not only need to consider the structural data but also the attributes information, which descripts the features of nodes or edges. However, there are few researches on densest subgraph mining with attribute description. In this article, we only focus on the node‐attributed graph. According to the properties of structure and attribute in node‐attributed graphs, we define a novel dense subgraph pattern, called hybridized k‐truss in attribute‐augmented graph. A hybridized k‐truss is a subgraph that consists of structural nodes and attribute nodes, of which there are at least (k − 2) common neighbors between any two connected nodes. We introduce the densest hybridized truss problem, and the densest hybridized truss mapping to a densely connected subgraph with homogenous attributes in the original graph. We propose a densest hybridized truss extraction (DHTE) algorithm for node‐attributed graphs, to automatically find the densest subgraph with high density and homogenous attributes at the same time. Extensive experimental results of 21 real world datasets demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of DHTE over state‐of‐the‐art methods, through comparison about structural cohesiveness and attributive homogeneity. In recent years, due to the rise of social, biological, and other rich content graphs, several novel community detection methods using structure and node attributes have been proposed. Moreover, nodes in a network are naturally characterized by multiple community memberships and there is growing interest in overlapping community detection algorithms. In this paper, we design a weighted vertex interaction model based on distance dynamics to divide the network, furthermore, we propose a distance Dynamics‐based Overlapping Semantic Community detection algorithm(DOSC) for node‐attribute networks. The method is divided into three phases: Firstly, we detect local single‐attribute subcommunities in each attribute‐induced graph based on the weighted vertex interaction model. Then, a hypergraph is constructed by using the subcommunities obtained in the previous step. Finally, the weighted vertex interaction model is used in the hypergraph to get global semantic communities. Osteolysis is a common medical condition characterized by excessive activity of osteoclasts and bone resorption, leading to severe poor quality of life. It is essential to identify the medications that can effectively suppress the excessive differentiation and function of osteoclasts to prevent and reduce the osteolytic conditions. It has been reported that Carnosol (Car), isolated from rosemary and salvia, has anti‐inflammatory, antioxidative, and anticancer effects, but its activity on osteolysis has not been determined. In this study, we found that Car has a strong inhibitory effect on the receptor activator of nuclear factor‐κB ligand (RANKL)‐induced osteoclast differentiation dose‐dependently without any observable cytotoxicity. Moreover, Car can inhibit the RANKL‐induced osteoclastogenesis and resorptive function via suppressing NFATc1, which is a result of affecting MAPK, NF‐κB and Ca2+ signaling pathways. Moreover, the particle‐induced osteolysis mouse model confirmed that Car could be effective for the treatment of bone loss in vivo. Taken together, by suppressing the formation and function of RANKL‐induced osteoclast, Car, may be a therapeutic supplementary in the prevention or the treatment of osteolysis. Atmospheric moisture transport (AMT) is known to have an influence on the winter Arctic surface air temperature (SAT). However, a systematic investigation involving a verification of the physical linkages and spatial sensitivity within the Arctic, as well as a quantification of such contribution is still lacking. Our work first verifies the variation coherence between AMT and the SAT over the winters of 1979–2015, based on multiple data sets. Climate model projections reveal tendencies towards more frequent high values in both SAT and AMT from 2010 to 2065 relative to that from 1950 to 2005, as well as a high correlation coefficient between their detrended series. Then, a composite analysis is applied based on different AMT values. During high‐AMT episodes, enhanced AMT intrudes into the Arctic, with the Norwegian Sea as the gateway, and further induces unevenly distributed warming inside the Arctic. The greatest warming occurs in the Barents‐Kara Sea, which is tightly associated with the altered atmospheric moisture content and its subsequent changes of surface radiation balance. In addition, the intruding moisture can induce latent heat release and sea ice melting, which also influences the warming. Furthermore, by conducting numerical model experiments in the winter of 2012/2013, a total warming effect of 9.66 °C averaged across the Arctic for the original AMT is revealed. By setting different incremental AMT values in five cases, the leading role of AMT is found to switch in the 0.5MT case (the case wherein the AMT value is 0.5 times the original) from altering the atmospheric moisture content to producing precipitation. This finding suggests that evenly spaced AMTs result in the alleviation of SAT increases. The Barents‐Kara Sea is where the surface air temperature is most sensitive to atmospheric moisture transport (AMT) variations, and the altered atmospheric moisture content and consequent changes in the surface radiation balance are the dominant linkages. The tough polyacrylamide/Laponite/titania (TiO2) dual nanocomposite (NC) hydrogel was fabricated by in situ radical polymerization of acrylamide (AAm) in the dispersion of Laponite and TiO2. TiO2 nanoparticles were prepared by sol‐gel method and used as both the inorganic filler and multi‐functional crosslinking agent. The morphology of hydrogel was tuned as functions of the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) concentration and the ratio of Ti (mmol) to clay (g) (mmol Ti/g clay). SEM and HR‐TEM morphologies revealed that Laponite and TiO2 tended to form a uniform and regular microstructure like peasecod in poly(acrylamide) (PAAm) matrix due to the synergistic effect between electrostatic interaction and covalent interaction when the concentration of NaOH used in TiO2 hydrosol increased to 1 × 10−1 mol/L. This homogeneous microstructure enhanced mechanical properties of hydrogel. The compression strength, modulus and fracture energy reached 2,107 kPa, 247 kPa, and 1,837 J/m2, respectively. The gels exhibited excellent fatigue resistance and good UV protective performance. In social network analysis, community detection on plain graphs has been widely studied. With the proliferation of available data, each user in the network is usually associated with additional attributes for elaborate description. However, many existing methods only concentrate on the topological structure and fail to deal with node‐attributed networks. These approaches are incapable of extracting clear semantic meanings for communities detected. In this paper, we combine the topological structure and attribute information into a unified process and propose a novel algorithm to detect overlapping semantic communities. Moreover, a new metric is designed to measure the density of semantic communities. The proposed algorithm is divided into 3 phases. First, we detect local semantic subcommunities from each node's perspective using a greedy strategy on the metric. Then, a supergraph, which consists of all these subcommunities is created. Finally, we find global semantic communities on the supergraph. The polyacrylic acid (PAA)/silica nanocomposite hydrogels with high mechanical property were prepared by combining sol‐gel process and in situ free radical polymerization using 3‐methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS) as silane and acrylic acid (AA) as monomers. The structure‐property relationship of nanocomposite hydrogels was characterized by FT‐IR, DMA, TGA, XRD, TEM, and static mechanical testing. The dependence of mechanical property on the network parameter was investigated. The elastic modulus and compression fracture stress of PAA/silica nanocomposite hydrogels reached 1.27 and 1.35 MPa at molar ratio of MPTMS to AA of 0.034. The enhancement of mechanical property was attributed to the multiple cross‐linking networks between MPTMS and AA by covalent bonding and hydrogen bonding. POLYM. Abstract: Host–guest interactions are widely employed in constructing responsive materials, although less is known to manipulate the chiral property of materials using such host–guest dynamics. With the supramolecular self‐assembly based on β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) and alkyl amines (CH3(CH2)n‐1NH2), we report that faster host–guest dynamics induces a dipole located above the cavity of β‐CD, whereas slower dynamics create in‐cavity dipole. These two scenarios correspond to negative and positive chiral signals, respectively. Considering that a larger fraction of amines facilitates faster exchange between the threaded and unthreaded amines, the chiral signal for the right‐handed helical ribbons can be manipulated simply by alternatively increasing the fraction of amines and β‐CD. Excitingly, enzyme responsive supramolecular chirality is obtained as a result of shifting the molar ratio by enzyme triggered hydrolysis of β‐CD. Abstract: Caking of powder materials is undesired in various industries, and for thousands of years people are fighting against caking. Herein, the principle of caking is employed to create macroscopic plastic supramolecular films through a cold sintering process. A nanometer‐sized, irregular coordinating cluster is first generated with a bulky head surfactant and multifunctional ligand, and the addition of metal ions immediately leads to amorphous white precipitates. Upon adsorbing moisture, a rearrangement of the molecules in the precipitates results in cold sintering, so that the particles in the precipitates grow into a transparent macroscopic film. The mechanical strength of the film is comparable to plastics, but allows welding and molding with finger at ambient temperature in moist environment. Mechanical tests suggest the supramolecular plastic does not fatigue even after several tens circles' remolding, indicating their superior material engineering capability. This strategy can be extended to different chemistries to fabricate films with different mechanical strength. Various functional components can be doped into the resultant films, rendering them a platform toward multifunctional materials, such as luminescent devices or sensors for pollution gases. Anisotropic and binary colloids self-assemble into a variety of novel supracolloidal structures within the thermo-switchable confinement of molecular microtubes, achieving structuring at multiple length scales and dimensionalities. The multistage self-assembly strategy involving hard colloidal particles and a soft supramolecular template is generic for colloids with different geometries and materials as well as their binary mixtures. The colloidal architectures can be controlled by colloid shape, size, and concentration. Colloidal cubes align in chains with face-to-face arrangement, whereas rod-like colloids predominantly self-organize in end-to-end configurations with their long axis parallel with the long axis of the microtubes. The 1D microconfinement imposed on binary mixtures of anisotropic and isotropic colloids further increases the diversity of colloid-in-tube structures. In cube-sphere mixtures, cubes may act as additional confiners, locking in colloidal sphere chains, while a 'colloidal Morse code' is generated where rods and spheres alternate in the case of rod-sphere mixtures. The versatile confined colloidal superstructures including their thermoresponsive assembly and disassembly are relevant for the development of stimulus-responsive materials where controlled release and encapsulation are desired. Hierarchical self‐assembly is often exploited by nature to build complex functional entities. A similar approach yielded a library of dynamic colloid‐in‐tube structures, such as colloidal zigzags, double‐ and triple‐helices, by utilizing the thermo‐reversible co‐assembly of colloidal spheres and molecular microtubes, as reported by J.
