Ferromagnetic van der Waals (vdW) materials are of large current interest for the fundamental study of low‐dimensional magnetism and for potential applications in multilayer heterostructures. Cr2Ge2Te6 (CGT) is particularly exciting because it is a ferromagnetic semiconductor with tunable electronic and magnetic properties. Controlling the magnetic domain structure of CGT is a requirement for understanding its novel interface physics and for tuning behavior for potential devices. Herein, cryo‐Lorentz transmission electron microscopy is performed in the temperature range of 12–50K to directly image the magnetic domain structures in CGT. A rich phase diagram of domain structures including stripe domains, magnetic bubble lattices of mixed‐chirality, and topologically‐protected lattices of homochiral magnetic bubbles is observed. The types and chiralities of the bubbles can be controlled by topographical changes in the CGT flakes. Additionally, it is observed that in‐plane strain and magnetoelastic coupling can align and organize both bubble lattices and stripe domains. This study provides insights into creating and controlling complex magnetic domain structures for integration into multilayer heterostructures and for future studies of 2D magnetism. In the treatment of solid tumors, the complex barriers composed of cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) prevent drug delivery and T cells infiltration into tumor tissues. Although nanocarriers hold great prospects in drug delivery, fibrosis causes the biological barrier and immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (ITM) that impairs the anti‐tumor efficacy of nanocarriers. Here, a small dendritic macromolecule loaded with doxorubicin (PAMAM‐ss‐DOX) (DP) is synthesized and encapsulated into pH‐responsive nanoliposome, together with adjuvant toll‐like receptor 7/8 (TLR7/8) agonist resiquimod (R848) and losartan (LOS). The pH‐responsive liposome facilitates the simultaneous and effective delivery of DP, R848, and LOS, which can decompose and release these drugs under the acidic tumor microenvironment. The small sized DP (≈25 nm) with the ability to penetrate into tumor tissue and immunogenic cell death (ICD) can reverse the ITM and elicit immune response, which is equivalent to the effect of an in situ vaccine. Moreover, LOS reduces the activity of CAFs effectively, which can contribute to the infiltration of T cells. Lead halide perovskites have recently attracted intensive attention as competitive alternative candidates of legacy compound materials CdTe, CdZnTe, and TlBr for high sensitivity energy‐resolving gamma‐ray detection at room temperature. However, the use of lead in these lead halide perovskites, which is necessary for increasing the stopping power of gamma radiation, poses a serious environmental concern due to the high toxicity of lead. In this regard, environmental‐friendly perovskite‐based gamma‐ray detector materials with key energy‐resolving capabilities are highly desired. Here, the gamma energy‐resolving performance of a new class of all‐inorganic and lead‐free Cs2AgBiBr6 double perovskite single crystals (SCs) is reported. Two types of Cs2AgBiBr6 SCs, prepared by Bi‐normal and Bi‐poor precursor solutions, respectively, have been grown. Their mobilities and response to gamma radiation are presented. Density of trap states in Bi‐poor Cs2AgBiBr6 SCs (2.65 × 109 cm−3) is one order of magnitude lower than that in Bi‐normal Cs2AgBiBr6 SCs (3.85 × 1010 cm−3). Using laser‐induced photocurrent measurements, the obtained mobility–lifetime (μ–τ) product in Bi‐poor Cs2AgBiBr6 SCs is 1.47 × 10−3 cm2 V−1, indicating their great potentials for gamma‐ray detection. Further, the fabricated detector based on Bi‐poor Cs2AgBiBr6 SC shows response to 59.5 keV gamma‐ray with an energy resolution of 13.91%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Periostin ( POSTN) is a limiting factor in the metastatic colonization of disseminated tumour cells. However, the role of POSTN in regulating the immunosuppressive function of immature myeloid cells in tumour metastasis has not been documented. Here, we demonstrate that POSTN promotes the pulmonary accumulation of myeloid-derived suppressor cells ( MDSCs) during the early stage of breast tumour metastasis. Postn deletion decreases neutrophil and monocytic cell populations in the bone marrow of mice and suppresses the accumulation of MDSCs to premetastatic sites. We also found that POSTN-deficient MDSCs display reduced activation of ERK, AKT and STAT3 and that POSTN deficiency decreases the immunosuppressive functions of MDSCs during tumour progression. Moreover, the pro-metastatic role of POSTN is largely limited to ER-negative breast cancer patients. Lysyl oxidase contributes to POSTN-promoted premetastatic niche formation and tumour metastasis. Our findings indicate that POSTN is essential for immunosuppressive premetastatic niche formation in the lungs during breast tumour metastasis and is a potential target for the prevention and treatment of breast tumour metastasis.
