Summary: Most of previous analyses on the active earth pressure were performed in two‐dimensional cases using the Mohr‐Coulomb (M‐C) failure function to describe the soil strength. However, all failures of retained slopes indicate a somewhat three‐dimensional (3D) feature, and the M‐C function is found to overestimate the tensile strength of cohesive soil. In this work, a kinematic limit analysis–based approach is developed for computing the 3D active earth pressure resulting from cohesive backfills. The concept of tensile strength cutoff is adopted to implement the reduction or elimination of tensile strength from the strength envelope. An extended 3D horn failure mechanism that is associated with the modified strength envelope is developed to characterize the collapse of retained slopes. The resultant of active earth pressure is evaluated from the work rate balance equation and expressed as an unfactored coefficient. The obtained results indicate that less support provided by the wall is required when allowing the existence of soil cohesion and 3D effects and that eliminating the tensile strength can observably increase the active earth pressure, especially for the backfill with a great level of cohesion. Recently, microRNAs (miRNAs) are confirmed to be important molecules within many crucial biological processes and therefore related to various complex human diseases. However, previous methods of predicting miRNA-disease associations have their own deficiencies. Under this circumstance, we developed a prediction method called deep representations-based miRNA-disease association (DRMDA) prediction. The original miRNA-disease association data were extracted from HDMM database. Meanwhile, stacked auto-encoder, greedy layer-wise unsupervised pre-training algorithm and support vector machine were implemented to predict potential associations. We compared DRMDA with five previous classical prediction models (HGIMDA, RLSMDA, HDMP, WBSMDA and RWRMDA) in global leave-one-out cross-validation (LOOCV), local LOOCV and fivefold cross-validation, respectively. The AUCs achieved by DRMDA were 0.9177, 08339 and 0.9156 ± 0.0006 in the three tests above, respectively. In further case studies, we predicted the top 50 potential miRNAs for colon neoplasms, lymphoma and prostate neoplasms, and 88%, 90% and 86% of the predicted miRNA can be verified by experimental evidence, respectively. The title compound, C34H38Cl6O14·C4H8O2·H2O, prepared by the reaction of 10-deacetyl baccatin III with 2,2,2-trichloroethyl chloroformate in pyridine, crystallizes via strong intermolecular hydrogen bonds and noncovalent interactions between 7,10-bis- O-(2,2,2-trichloroethoxycarbonyl)-10-deacetyl baccatin III (7,10-di-Troc-DAB), water and ethyl acetate. In the title compound, C12H12N2O2, synthesized by ammonolysis of 3-phenyl-isoxazole-5-carbonyl chloride in di-chloro-methane, the dihedral angle between the isoxazole ring and the phenyl ring is 14.05 (7)°. In the crystal, centrosym-metrically related mol-ecules are linked into dimers by pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, generating rings of graph-set motif R 2 (2)(10).
