Abstract

The article presents the case study of a 59 year old woman, who was diagnosed with Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS) six years ago and was treated with leukotriene receptor antagonist, montelukast for preceding two years. She suffered from asthma, bilateral sinusitis and mononeuritis as revealed by a transbronchial lung biopsy. She was admitted in the hospital due to severe shortness of breath and suspicion of asthma exacerbation. The article discusses the role of heart involvement in CCS patient.
