Bee venom serves as an essential defensive weapon for bees and also finds application as a medicinal drug. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) serve as critical regulators and have been demonstrated to perform a variety of biological functions. However, the presence of miRNAs in bee venom needs to be confirmed. Therefore, we conducted small RNA sequencing and identified 158 known miRNAs, 15 conserved miRNAs and 4 novel miRNAs. It is noteworthy that ame‐miR‐1‐3p, the most abundant among them, accounted for over a quarter of all miRNA reads. To validate the function of ame‐miR‐1‐3p, we screened 28 candidate target genes using transcriptome sequencing and three target gene prediction software (miRanda, PITA and TargetScan) for ame‐miR‐1‐3p. Subsequently, we employed real‐time quantitative reverse transcription PCR (qRT‐PCR), Western blot and other technologies to confirm that ame‐miR‐1‐3p inhibits the relative expression of antizyme inhibitor 1 (AZIN1) by targeting the 3′ untranslated region (UTR) of AZIN1. This, in turn, caused ODC antizyme 1 (OAZ1) to bind to ornithine decarboxylase 1 (ODC1) and mark ODC1 for proteolytic destruction. The reduction in functional ODC1 ultimately resulted in a decrease in polyamine biosynthesis. Furthermore, we determined that ame‐miR‐1‐3p accelerates cell death through the AZIN1/OAZ1‐ODC1‐polyamines pathway. Our studies demonstrate that ame‐miR‐1‐3p diminishes cell viability and it may collaborate with sPLA2 to enhance the defence capabilities of honeybees (Apis mellifera L.). Objective: Although the advantages of postoperative braces have been verified in many fields, it is not clear whether postoperative braces can help reduce patients' adverse psychological emotions such as kinesiophobia, anxiety, and depression. This study aims to analyze whether the use of a postoperative brace helps reduce adverse psychological emotions in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) patients undergoing spinal deformity surgeries. Methods: All consecutive patients who underwent spinal corrective surgeries at our institution between April 2023 and July 2023 formed the prospective cohort. Outcome measures were collected in the preoperative period, 3 months after surgery, and 6 months after surgery. All patients were assessed using the Tampa scale for kinesiophobia (TSK), the hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS), and the numerical rating scale (NRS). A statistical model of propensity score matching was used to eliminate potential selection bias and maintain comparability. Multivariate linear regression models were used to determine the relationship between postoperative brace and adverse psychological emotions. Results: After propensity score matching, this study ultimately enrolled 150 patients. There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of demographic and perioperative variables. The fully adjusted model showed that the TSK scores of the non‐brace group at the 3‐month (ꞵ = 2.50, 95% CI 0.80–4.20, p = 0.005) and 6‐month follow‐up (ꞵ = 2.75, 95% CI 0.75–4.74, p = 0.007) were significantly higher than those of the brace group. The HADS score of the non‐brace group at the 3‐month follow‐up was significantly higher than that of the brace group (ꞵ = 1.75, 95% CI 0.28–3.22, p = 0.019). The NRS score of the non‐brace group at the 3‐month follow‐up was significantly higher than that of the brace group (ꞵ = 0.69, 95% CI 0.05–1.33, p = 0.034). At the 6‐month follow‐up, there were no significant difference for HADS score or NRS score between the two groups. Conclusion: In the early postoperative period, the postoperative brace could provide AIS patients with psychological supports and help them reduce the frequency of adverse psychological emotions. The postoperative brace could continuously improve the fear of movement within 6 months after surgery, and help reduce anxiety, depression, and pain within 3 months after surgery. Background: This study aimed to investigate sex differences in risk factors for suicide attempts in first‐episode and drug naive (FEDN) major depressive disorder (MDD) with comorbid subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH). Methods: A total of 1034 FEDN MDD patients with comorbid SCH were enrolled. The Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), and Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) positive subscale were used to assess patients' symptoms. Thyroid hormone levels and metabolic parameters were measured. Results: MDD patients with SCH had a significantly higher risk of suicide attempts than those without SCH (25.4% vs. 12.2%). Logistic regression showed that HAMA score, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels, and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) levels were significantly associated with an increased risk for suicide attempts in both male and female MDD patients comorbid SCH, while low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐C) was significantly associated with an increased risk for suicide attempts only in male patients, HAMD score and systolic blood pressure were significantly associated with an increased risk for suicide attempts only in female patients. Conclusion: SCH comorbidities may increase suicide attempts in MDD patients. Our results showed significant sex differences in clinical and metabolic factors associated with suicide attempts among FEDN MDD patients with comorbid SCH, highlighting appropriate sex‐based preventive interventions are needed. An asymmetric 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition of β‐fluoroalkylated α,β‐unsaturated 2‐acyl imidazole with nitrones or N,N'‐cyclic azomethine imines to construct chiral α‐fluoroalkylated γ‐amino alcohols or chiral α‐fluoroalkylated 1,3‐diamino compounds has catalyzed by chiral‐at‐metal rhodium complexes is reported. The corresponding products with three contiguous tertiary stereocenters were obtained in 62%–98% yields with stereoselectivities up to >20:1 dr and 99% ee. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the associations of general and central obesity with risk of first cardiometabolic disease (FCMD), cardiometabolic multimorbidity (CMM), and death. Methods: A total of 86,169 participants who were CMD‐free were included from the Kailuan cohort and categorized into four groups by quartiles of BMI, waist to hip ratio (WHR), weight‐adjusted waist index, and waist to height ratio. We defined FCMD as the first onset of diabetes, stroke, or myocardial infarction and CMM as co‐occurrence of at least two CMDs. Multistate models were used to estimate hazard ratios and 95% CI. Results: A total of 18,461 participants developed FCMD, of whom 1476 progressed to CMM, and 10,009 died during follow‐ups. Both general and central adiposity indices increased the risk of transition from baseline to FCMD and from FCMD to CMM. However, compared with the first quartile, the hazard ratio (95% CI) of the fourth quartile of BMI was 0.86 (95% CI: 0.80–0.91) for transition from health to death and 0.66 (95% CI: 0.59–0.74) from FCMD to death, whereas the corresponding estimates of WHR were 1.22 (95% CI: 1.14–1.31) and 1.16 (95% CI: 1.02–1.32), respectively. Conclusions: Central adiposity indices such as WHR were associated with an increased risk of CMD and mortality, showing no evidence for the obesity paradox and thereby supporting a shift of public focus from BMI only to both general obesity and adiposity distribution. Anlotinib is used for the treatment of advanced non‐small cell lung cancer; however, the emergence of drug resistance limits its clinical application. β‐sitosterol may also be used to treat lung cancer, but there have been no studies evaluating β‐sitosterol against anlotinib‐resistant lung cancer. The purpose of this study was to determine the mechanism by which β‐sitosterol enhances the sensitivity of lung cancer cells to anlotinib. A549 cells were treated with different concentrations of anlotinib to generate anlotinib‐resistant cells (A549/anlotinib cells). miR‐181a‐3p mimics were transfected into A549/anlotinib cells. A549 and A549/anlotinib cells were treated with β‐sitosterol at various concentrations. The Cell Counting Kit‐8 (CCK‐8) assay was used to measure cell proliferation. Apoptosis was assessed by flow cytometry. Real‐time quantitative PCR was used to measure the expression of miR‐181a‐3p. The interaction of miR‐181a‐3p with the H/ACA ribonucleoprotein assembly factor (SHQ1) was predicted using the miRDB and TargetScan Human databases and verified with a luciferase reporter assay. The expression of SHQ1, activating transcription factor 6 (ATF6), and glucose‐regulated protein 78 (GRP78) were measured by western blot analysis. β‐Sitosterol effectively suppressed A549/anlotinib cell proliferation and promoted apoptosis. SHQ1 is a downstream target of miR‐181a‐3p. The expression of miR‐181a‐3p was inhibited; however, SHQ1 expression was increased by β‐sitosterol treatment of A549/anlotinib cells. The inhibition of SHQ1, ATF6, and GRP78 protein expression by β‐sitosterol in A549/anlotinib cells was rescued by increased miR‐181a‐3p. β‐Sitosterol markedly promotes anlotinib‐resistant A549 cell apoptosis and inhibits cell proliferation by activating SHQ1/UPR signaling through miR‐181a‐3p inhibition. Aims: To investigate the associations of baseline and longitudinal cardiovascular health (CVH) measured by 'Life's Essential 8' (LE8) metrics with the risk of diabetes in Chinese people with normoglycaemia or prediabetes. Materials and Methods: A total 86,149 participants without diabetes were enroled from the Kailuan study and were stratified by baseline glycaemic status (normoglycaemia or prediabetes). Cardiovascular health score ranged from 0 to 100 points was categorised into low (0–49), middle (50–79), and high (80–100) CVH status. Cox regressions were used to assess the associations of baseline and time‐updated CVH status with incident diabetes in the overall cohort and across baseline glycaemic statuses. Results: During a median follow‐up of 12.94 (interquartile rage: 12.48–13.16) years, we identified 13,097 (15.20%) cases of incident diabetes. Baseline and time‐updated high CVH status was associated with a lower risk of diabetes, the corresponding hazard ratio (HR) versus low CVH status was 0.27 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.23–0.31) and 0.26 (95% CI, 0.23–0.30) in the overall cohort, respectively. Additionally, the effect of high CVH on diabetes was more prominent in participants with normoglycaemia than those with prediabetes (P < 0.0001), with an HR of 0.26 (95% CI, 0.22–0.31) versus 0.50 (95% CI, 0.41–0.62) for baseline CVH, and 0.25 (95% CI, 0.21–0.30) versus 0.39 (95% CI, 0.32–0.48) for time‐updated CVH. Conclusions: Elevated baseline and longitudinal CVH score assessed by LE8 metrics is associated with a lower risk of subsequent diabetes, especially in normoglycaemic adults. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Surgical removal of the thyroid gland (TG) for treating thyroid disorders leaves the patients on lifelong hormone replacement that partially compensates the physiological needs, but regenerating TG is challenging. Here, an approach is reported to regenerate TG within the spleen for fully restoring the thyroid's functions in mice, by transplanting thyroid tissue blocks to the spleen. Within 48 h, the transplanted tissue efficiently revascularizes, forming thyroid follicles similar to the native gland after 4 weeks. Structurally, the ectopically generated thyroid integrates with the surrounding splenic tissue while maintaining its integrity, separate from the lymphatic tissue. Functionally, it fully restores the native functions of the TG in hormone regulation in response to physiological stimuli, outperforming the established method of oral levothyroxine therapy in maintaining systemic homeostasis. The study demonstrates the full restoration of thyroid functions post‐thyroidectomy by intrasplenic TG regeneration, providing fresh insights for designing novel therapies for thyroid‐related disorders. Objectives: We aimed to explore the efficacy and safety of tailored therapy guided by genotypic resistance in the first‐line treatment of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection in treatment‐naive patients. Methods: Gastric mucosal specimens were taken during gastroscopy, and main mutations of clarithromycin‐ and levofloxacin‐resistant genes were detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Sensitive antibiotics were selected individually for treating H. pylori infection with tailored bismuth‐containing quadruple therapy (BQT) consisting of esomeprazole 20 mg twice daily, bismuth potassium citrate 220 mg twice daily, amoxicillin 1 g twice daily, and clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily, or levofloxacin 500 mg once daily, or metronidazole 400 mg four times daily. Safety and patient compliance were assessed 1–3 days after eradication. Treatment outcome was evaluated by urea breath test 4–8 weeks after eradication. Results: One hundred and thirty‐two treatment‐naive patients with H. pylori infection were included. PCR results suggested resistance rates of 47.7% and 34.9% for clarithromycin and levofloxacin, respectively, and a dual resistance rate of 18.2%. Eradication rates of tailored BQT were 87.1% and 95.8% by intention‐to‐treat (ITT) analysis and per‐protocol (PP) analysis, respectively. There was no statistically significant difference in the efficacy of 7‐day clarithromycin‐containing, 7‐day levofloxacin‐containing, and 14‐day full‐dose metronidazole‐containing BQT (ITT analysis: P = 0.488; PP analysis: P = 0.833). The incidence of adverse events was 19.7%, and patient compliance was 97.7%. Conclusion: Tailored BQT guided by genotypic resistance can achieve satisfactory efficacy, safety, and patient compliance in the first‐line treatment of H. pylori infection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Antimony‐based anode materials are recognized for their high potassium storage capacities and appropriate operating potentials. However, the large volume expansion of Sb during the potassiation/depotassiation process, which results in a quick capacity decay, severely limits its practical application in potassium‐ion batteries (PIBs). Here, a carbon‐coated Sb/MXene heterostructure composite (CSM) is synthesized by adsorption of Sb3+ on MXene nanosheets via Sb‐O‐Ti bonds followed by carbothermic reduction to construct dual‐confined MXene@carbon conductive framework capable of withstanding high volume expansion of Sb and conducive to enabling accelerated electron transfer kinetics. The CSM composite, particularly CSM‐700, when configured as an anode for PIBs, realized high capacity (484.4 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1), an ultra‐stable cycling performance with a high reversible capacity of 435.9 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 after 100 cycles corresponding to a capacity retention rate of 90.0%, and superior rate performance of 323.0 mAh g−1 at 1 A g−1. Aims: The monocyte to high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (MHR) has emerged as a novel inflammatory biomarker of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. However, it has not yet been identified whether MHR can predict the long‐term prognosis of ischemic stroke. We aimed to investigate the associations of MHR levels with clinical outcomes in patients with ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) at 3 months and 1 year. Methods: We derived data from the Third China National Stroke Registry (CNSR‐III). Enrolled patients were divided into four groups by quartiles of MHR. Multivariable Cox regression for all‐cause death and stroke recurrence and logistic regression for the poor functional outcome (modified Rankin Scale score 3–6) were used. Results: Among 13,865 enrolled patients, the median MHR was 0.39 (interquartile range, 0.27–0.53). After adjustment for conventional confounding factors, the MHR level in quartile 4 was associated with an increased risk of all‐cause death (hazard ratio [HR], 1.45; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.10–1.90), and poor functional outcome (odd ratio [OR], 1.47; 95% CI, 1.22–1.76), but not with stroke recurrence (HR, 1.02; 95% CI, 0.85–1.21) at 1 year follow‐up, compared with MHR level in quartile 1. Similar results were observed for outcomes at 3 months. The addition of MHR to a basic model including conventional factors improved predictive ability for all‐cause death and poor functional outcome validated by the C‐statistic and net reclassification index (all p < 0.05). Utilization of N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF) as an amine source and reductant for synthesizing tertiary amines is a promising way to replace the substrates formaldehyde and dimethylamine, and it is desirable to seek porous acid‐resistant catalysts for heterogeneous catalysis of this reaction. Herein, a robust metal–organic framework (MOF) {[Th6O4(OH)4(H2O)6(BCP)3]⋅10 DMF}n (1) containing stacked nanocages with a diameter of 1.55 nm was constructed. Compound 1 can maintain its single‐crystal structure even kept in air at 400 °C for 3 h, and in DMF or water at 200 °C for 7 days. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggested that the high interaction energy between the [Th6O4(OH)4(H2O)6]12+ clusters and ligands was responsible for the excellent stability of 1. Catalytic investigations revealed that 1 can effectively and size‐selectively catalyze the reductive amination of aldehydes with DMF, and it can be reused at least five times without obvious loss in catalytic activity. Summary: Quercus dentata Thunb., a dominant forest tree species in northern China, has significant ecological and ornamental value due to its adaptability and beautiful autumn coloration, with color changes from green to yellow into red resulting from the autumnal shifts in leaf pigmentation. However, the key genes and molecular regulatory mechanisms for leaf color transition remain to be investigated.First, we presented a high‐quality chromosome‐scale assembly for Q. dentata. This 893.54 Mb sized genome (contig N50 = 4.21 Mb, scaffold N50 = 75.55 Mb; 2n = 24) harbors 31 584 protein‐coding genes. Second, our metabolome analyses uncovered pelargonidin‐3‐O‐glucoside, cyanidin‐3‐O‐arabinoside, and cyanidin‐3‐O‐glucoside as the main pigments involved in leaf color transition. Third, gene co‐expression further identified the MYB‐bHLH‐WD40 (MBW) transcription activation complex as central to anthocyanin biosynthesis regulation.Notably, transcription factor (TF) QdNAC (QD08G038820) was highly co‐expressed with this MBW complex and may regulate anthocyanin accumulation and chlorophyll degradation during leaf senescence through direct interaction with another TF, QdMYB (QD01G020890), as revealed by our further protein–protein and DNA–protein interaction assays.Our high‐quality genome assembly, metabolome, and transcriptome resources further enrich Quercus genomics and will facilitate upcoming exploration of ornamental values and environmental adaptability in this important genus. Background: Serum albumin to globulin ratio (A/G) has been widely used as a representative biomarker for assessing inflammation and nutrition status. However, in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS), the predictive value of serum A/G has rarely been reported. We aimed to evaluate whether serum A/G is associated with prognosis in stroke. Methods: We analyzed data from the Third China National Stroke Registry. The patients were categorized into quartile groups according to the serum A/G at admission. Clinical outcomes included poor functional outcomes (modified Rankin Scale [mRS] score of 3–6 or 2–6) and all‐cause mortality at 3 months and1 year. Multivariable logistic regressions and Cox proportional hazards regressions were used to evaluate the association of serum A/G with the risk of poor functional outcomes and all‐cause mortality. Results: A total of 11, 298 patients were included in this study. After adjustment for confounding factors, patients in the highest serum A/G quartile had a lower proportion of mRS score 2–6 (odds ratio [OR], 0.87; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.76–1.00) and mRS score 3–6 (OR, 0.87; 95% CI, 0.73–1.03) at 3 months follow‐up. At 1 year follow‐up, there was a significant association between higher serum A/G and mRS score 3–6 (OR, 0.68; 95% CI, 0.57–0.81). We also found that the highest serum A/G was related to decreased risk of all‐cause mortality (hazard ratio [HR], 0.58; 95% CI, 0.36–0.94) at 3 months follow‐up. Similar results were found at 1‐year follow‐up. Conclusions: Lower serum A/G levels were associated with poor functional outcomes and all‐cause mortality at 3 months and 1‐year follow‐up in patients with acute ischemic stroke. BACKGROUND: To study the effect of changing the piperidine ring of oxathiapiprolin on the fungicidal activity, we designed and synthesized novel piperazine thiazole derivatives containing oxime ether or oxime ester moieties, and studied their fungicidal activities against Phytophthora capsici in vitro. RESULTS: These derivatives showed moderate to good fungicidal activities against Phytophthora capsici, two oxime ether derivatives showed higher fungicidal activity in vitro than dimethomorph (EC50 = 0.1331 μg mL−1) and comparable to oxathiapiprolin (EC50 = 0.0042 μg mL−1). Oxime ester derivatives showed significantly reduced activities compared with oxime ether derivatives. Most of these derivatives showed broad‐spectrum fungicidal activity against the other eight kinds of fungi. Moreover, four derivatives exhibited good antifungal activities in vivo against Phytophthora capsici, Pseudoperonospora cubensis, and Phytophthora infestans. The hyphae morphology study showed that compound 10d might cause mycelial abnormalities of Phytophthora capsici. CONCLUSION: The activity of 10b against Phytophthora infestans was better than that of mandipropamid, and compound 10d exhibited higher fungicidal activities against Pseudoperonospora cubensis and Phytophthora infestans than mandipropamid. Stomatal closure is regulated by plant hormones and some small molecules to reduce water loss under stress conditions. Both abscisic acid (ABA) and polyamines alone induce stomatal closure; however, whether the physiological functions of ABA and polyamines are synergistic or antagonistic with respect to inducing stomatal closure is still unknown. Here, stomatal movement in response to ABA and/or polyamines was tested in Vicia faba and Arabidopsis thaliana, and the change in the signaling components under stomatal closure was analyzed. We found that both polyamines and ABA could induce stomatal closure through similar signaling components, including the synthesis of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and nitric oxide (NO) and the accumulation of Ca2+. However, polyamines partially inhibited ABA‐induced stomatal closure both in epidermal peels and in planta by activating antioxidant enzymes, including superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), and catalase (CAT), to eliminate the ABA‐induced increase in H2O2. These results strongly indicate that polyamines inhibit abscisic acid‐induced stomatal closure, suggesting that polyamines could be used as potential plant growth regulators to increase photosynthesis under mild drought stress. Aim: The association between magnesium and outcomes after stroke is uncertain. We aimed to investigate the association of serum magnesium with all‐cause mortality and poor functional outcome. Methods: We included patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) or transient ischemic attack (TIA) from the China National Stroke Registry III. We used Cox proportional hazards model for all‐cause mortality and logistic regression model for poor functional outcome (modified Rankin Scale [mRS] 2–6/3–6) to examine the relationships. Results: Among the 6483 patients, the median (interquartile range) magnesium was 0.87 (0.80–0.93) mmol/L. Patients in the first quartile had a higher risk of mRS score 3–6/2–6 at 3 months (adjusted odds ratio [OR]: 1.30; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.02, 1.64; adjusted OR: 1.29; 95% CI: 1.04–1.59) compared with those in the fourth quartile. Similar results were found for mRS score 26 at 1 year. The age‐ and sex‐adjusted hazard ratio (HR) with 95% CI in first quartile magnesium was 1.40 (1.02–1.93) for all‐cause mortality within 1 year, but became insignificant (HR: 1.03; 95% CI: 0.71–1.50) after adjusting for potential variables. Cyber‐aggression is a serious social problem worldwide. Its risks have been frequently explored, and violence exposure in daily life has been regarded as an important risk factor of cyber‐aggression. However, the longitudinal association between violence exposure in daily life and cyber‐aggression has not yet been examined, and the mechanisms underlying the link between violence exposure and cyber‐aggression remain largely unclear. Based on the General Aggression Model and Script Theory, we explored the circular relation between violence exposure in daily life, hostile automatic thoughts, and cyber‐aggression. The current study adopted a longitudinal design to address these issues among 941 college students. The results indicated violence exposure in daily life predicted hostile automatic thoughts and cyber‐aggression 6 months later; hostile automatic thoughts predicted violence exposure and cyber‐aggression 6 months later; and cyber‐aggression predicted hostile automatic thoughts and violence exposure 6 months later. Moreover, each of them plays a mediating role in the association between the other two variables. Background: Due to general unavailability and common side effects of tetracycline, the clinical application of bismuth quadruple therapy (BQT) is greatly limited. Whether amoxicillin can replace tetracycline in BQT remains unknown. This study aimed to compare the eradication rate, safety and compliance between amoxicillin‐containing and tetracycline‐containing BQT as a first‐line regimen for Helicobacter pylori eradication. Methods: This randomized trial was conducted on 404 naïve patients for H. pylori eradication. The participants were randomly assigned to 14‐day amoxicillin‐containing (bismuth potassium citrate 110 mg four times/day, esomeprazole 20 mg twice daily, metronidazole 400 mg four times/day and amoxicillin 500 mg four times/day) and tetracycline‐containing (tetracycline 500 mg four times/day and the other three drugs used as above) BQT. Safety and compliance were assessed within 3 days after eradication. Urea breath test was performed 4–8 weeks after eradication to evaluate outcome. Results: As for the eradication rates of amoxicillin‐containing and tetracycline‐containing BQT, the results of both intention‐to‐treat and per‐protocol analyses showed that the difference rate of the lower limit of 95% confidence interval was above −10.0% (intention‐to‐treat analysis: 81.7% vs. 83.2%, with a rate difference of −1.5% [−6.3% to 9.3%]; per‐protocol analysis: 89.0% vs. 91.6%, −2.6% [−4.1% to 9.3%]). The incidence of adverse events in amoxicillin‐containing BQT was significantly lower than tetracycline‐containing BQT (29.5% vs. 39.7%). Both groups achieved relatively good compliance (92.0% vs. 89.9%). Conclusion: The eradication efficacy of amoxicillin‐containing BQT was non‐inferior to tetracycline‐containing BQT as a first‐line regimen for H. pylori eradication with better safety and similar compliance. Background: Postoperative pain after video‐assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) is common in lung cancer patients, and it is unclear whether cancer itself participates in pain regulation. Programmed cell death ligand‐1 (PD‐L1) expressed by tumours may be analgesic. Our study aimed to detect the association between PD‐L1 and acute postoperative pain. Methods: We reviewed patients who underwent VATS for lung cancer with tumour PD‐L1 expression analysed in our centre from Jan 2017 to Jul 2020. They were divided into PD‐L1 (−) group and PD‐L1 (+) group and were further divided into four subgroups according to opioids for postoperative analgesia: sufentanil PD‐L1 (−), sufentanil PD‐L1 (+), oxycodone PD‐L1 (−), and oxycodone PD‐L1 (+). We compared the numeric rating scale (NRS) for the first three postoperative days at rest or cough between groups. Results: A total of 369 patients (167 in PD‐L1 (−) vs. 202 in PD‐L1 (+)) were included. On the first postoperative day, NRS at cough in the PD‐L1 (+) patients were higher than those in the PD‐L1 (−) patients (2.91 ± 1.07 vs. 2.66 ± 1.01, p = 0.018). On the third day, NRS at cough in PD‐L1 (+) patients was higher (2.50 ± 1.02 vs. 2.26 ± 1.09, p = 0.043). For patients with oxycodone, NRS was higher in PD‐L1 (+) than in PD‐L1 (−) (p = 0.041) at cough after surgery. In contrast, those with sufentanil did not significantly differ in NRS between groups. Conclusions: Patients with PD‐L1 (+) suffered graver pain in the early postoperative period after VATS for lung cancer compared with PD‐L1 (−) on tumours. Analgesia with sufentanil seemed to overcome this effect better than oxycodone. Significance: We demonstrated that patients with positive programmed cell death ligand‐1 (PD‐L1) on tumours suffered graver pain in the early postoperative period after video‐assisted thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer and reacted differently with opioids. Early growth response 3 (Egr3) is required for embryogenesis, but little understanding is usable about its function in embryo implantation and decidualization. The present study exhibited an obvious localization of Egr3 in luminal epithelium and subluminal stroma at implantation sites. Administration of estrogen brought about a distinct gather of Egr3 mRNA in uterine luminal and glandular epithelia. Meanwhile, Egr3 was visualized in the decidua where it might facilitate the proliferation of stromal cells via Ccnd3 and accelerate stromal differentiation, testifying the significance of Egr3 in decidualization. In ovariectomized mice uteri or stromal cells, progesterone advanced the expression of Egr3 whose obstruction counteracted the inducement of stromal differentiation by progesterone. Consistently, Egr3 mediated the influence of cAMP and heparin‐binding EGF‐like growth factor (HB‐EGF) on the differentiation program. Additionally, cAMP‐protein kinase A (PKA) signaling mediated the adjustment of progesterone on Egr3. Impediment of HB‐EGF antagonized the ascendance of Egr3 conferred by cAMP. In stromal cells, Egr3 activated the transcription of Hand2 whose promoter region exhibited the binding enrichment of Egr3. Activation of Hand2 relieved the weakness of stromal differentiation by Egr3 hinderance, whereas knockdown of Hand2 neutralized the guidance of Egr3 overexpression on the differentiation program. Previous studies showed a controversial result on the relationship between probiotics treatment duration and blood pressure (BP). The present meta‐analysis is performed to summarize the effects of long‐term (≥8 weeks) use of probiotics on office and ambulatory BP using combined evidence from randomized, controlled trials. We searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library, and the ClinicalTrials.gov till January, 2021 to identify eligible articles. Primary outcomes were changes in office BP. In the presence of heterogeneity, a random‐effects model was used to calculate the combined treatment effect. Begg's funnel plots and Egger's regression test were used to assess the publication bias. Meta‐analysis of 26 trials in 1624 participants demonstrated that probiotic consumption significantly decreased office systolic BP by 2.18 mmHg (95% confidence interval [CI], −3.41 to −0.94 mmHg) and diastolic BP by 1.07 mmHg (95% CI, −1.72 to −0.41 mmHg). The analysis on ambulatory BP from three trials showed a similar reduction by −2.35/−1.61 mmHg (p ≤.052). Subgroup analysis in hypertensive and diabetic patients showed a significant reduction in systolic and diastolic BP (p ≤.02). The reductions in diabetic and hypertensive patients were comparatively larger than nondiabetic and normotensive patients (p ≥.052). With the increase of age, baseline body mass index (BMI), treatment duration, and systolic BP, the effects of probiotics on BP did not increase significantly (ptrend ≥.18). The present meta‐analysis suggests a beneficial effect of probiotics on BP by a modest degree, especially in the diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Main problem: The prognostic value of soluble lectin‐like oxidized low‐density lipoproteinreceptor‐1 (sLOX‐1) for stroke was unclearly. This study aimed to investigate the association between sLOX‐1 and recurrent stroke in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) or transient ischemic attack (TIA). Methods: Data were obtained from the Third China National Stroke Registry. Eligible cases consisted of 400 patients who developed recurrent stroke within 1‐year follow‐up, 800 controls were selected using age‐ and sex‐matched with a 1:2 case–control ratio. Conditional logistic regressions were used to evaluate the association between sLOX‐1 and recurrent stroke. Results: Among 1200 patients included in this study, the median (interquartile range) of sLOX‐1 was 247.12 (132.81–413.58) ng/L. After adjustment for conventional confounding factors, the odds ratio with 95% confidence interval in the highest tertile versus the lowest tertile was 2.23 (1.61–3.08) for recurrent stroke, 2.31 (1.64–3.24) for ischemic stroke, 2.30 (1.66–3.19) for combined vascular events within 1‐year follow‐up. Furthermore, the addition of sLOX‐1 to a conventional risk model had an incremental effect on predictive value for recurrent stroke (C‐statistics 0.76, p < 0.0001; integrated discrimination improvement 13.38%, p < 0.0001; net reclassification improvement 55.39%, p < 0.0001). Similar results were observed when the timepoint was set up as 3 months. Subgroup analysis showed the association between higher sLOX‐1 and recurrent stroke was more pronounced in patients with a history of stroke (p for interaction = 0.0062). Background and purpose: The role of serum uric acid (SUA) in prognosis is controversial because SUA levels largely depend on renal clearance function. This study aimed to investigate the association between renal function‐normalized SUA (SUA to serum creatinine [SCr] ratio [SUA/SCr ratio]) and poor functional outcomes in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Methods: All patients were recruited from the Third China National Stroke Registry. Poor functional outcomes were defined by modified Rankin Scale (mRS) scores of 3–6 or 2‐6 at 3 months and 1 year. Results: Among 8169 enrolled patients, the median (interquartile range) SUA/SCr ratio was 4.19 (3.47–5.08). Compared with patients in the fourth quintile group, those in the first quintile group had higher proportions of mRS scores 3–6 (odds ratio [OR] 1.55, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.24–1.93) and mRS scores 2–6 (OR 1.28, 95% CI 1.08–1.53) at 3 months. The addition of SUA/SCr ratio to the conventional risk model had a greater incremental value than the addition of either SUA or SCr alone. Subgroup analysis showed that the association was only significant in patients with normal kidney function (p for interaction<0.05). Similar results were found for outcomes at 1 year. Conclusions: A lower SUA/SCr ratio was associated with poor functional outcomes in patients with AIS at 3 months and at 1 year, suggesting the potential use of SUA/SCr ratio in clinical practice as a preferable marker for stroke outcomes. Aims: Gamma‐glutamyl transferase (GGT) is considered a marker of oxidative stress in vivo. In this study, we aimed to examine the association of serum GGT levels with 3‐month and 1‐year stroke recurrence in patients with acute ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA). Methods: We conducted a large and multicenter cohort study. Participants with ischemic stroke or TIA who had a baseline GGT measurement were enrolled in the China National Stroke Registry‐3 study from August 2015 to March 2018. They were divided into four groups according to sex‐specific quartiles of GGT levels. The effect of GGT on stroke recurrence and other vascular events was examined during the 1‐year follow‐up period. Multivariate Cox regression models were performed to evaluate the association. Discrimination tests were used to examine the degree to which incorporating GGT into the conventional model predicted stroke adverse outcomes. Results: A total of 12,504 patients were enrolled. At both the 3‐month and 1‐year follow‐ups, patients in the highest quartile group of GGT levels exhibited a higher risk of stroke recurrence [HR 1.32 (95% CI 1.07–1.63), HR 1.34 (95% CI 1.13–1.60)], ischemic stroke [HR 1.37 (95% CI 1.10–1.71), HR 1.37 (95% CI 1.14–1.64)], and combined vascular events [HR 1.34 (95% CI 1.09–1.65), HR 1.34 (95% CI 1.13–1.59)] than those in the lowest quartile group. Moreover, the Kaplan–Meier curves revealed that the incidence rates of stroke adverse outcomes were quite different in the four groups. The highest quartile group showed the highest cumulative incidence, while the lowest quartile group showed the lowest cumulative incidence. After applying discrimination tests, adding GGT into the conventional model resulted in slight improvements in predicting stroke adverse outcomes (NRI: 10%–14%). Conclusion: This study demonstrated that elevated GGT levels were positively associated with an increased risk of stroke adverse outcomes, namely, recurrence, ischemic stroke, and combined vascular events. To study the influence of changing the piperidine ring on the fungicidal activity, at the same time based on the successful experience of opening the oxazoline ring, a series of novel ethylenediamine bridged thiazole derivatives containing oxime ether and oxime ester moieties were designed, synthesized, and first evaluated for their fungicidal activities against phytophthora capsaicae in vitro. The bioassays results showed that the target compounds possessed moderate fungicidal activities against phytophtho‐ra capsaicae. Compound 28b showed 53.6% fungicidal activity at 50 μg/ml. Oxime ether and oxime ester derivatives showed the similar level of activities. However, the activities of these compounds were lower than that of oxathiapiprolin, suggesting the piperidine ring was essential to maintain the fungicidal activities of these compounds. For the oxime ether derivatives, 16b, 22a, 25b, and 28b, the substituents on ethylenediamine have certain influence on the activity. Increasing the chain length of substituents is beneficial to the fungicidal activity. Meanwhile, these compounds were tested their fungicidal activities against other 9 fungi, and these compounds showed broad spectrum fungicidal activities. Background and Objectives: To advance blood transfusion safety, the Chinese Haemovigilance Network (CHN) was put into operation in 2018. This report describes the development of the CHN and evaluates its role by analysing reported adverse transfusion reactions (ATRs) from 2018 to 2020. Materials and Methods: All data in this study were obtained from the CHN online reporting platform. A timeline of CHN development is presented, and the activities of CHN‐enrolled facilities are analysed by year. The reported ATRs were analysed in detail for ATR types, blood components involved and adherence to case definition, severity and imputability criteria. Incidence rates were calculated and compared with international examples. Results: During 2018–2020, a total of 3061 ATRs were reported through the CHN online reporting system. The rate of reported ATRs in all facilities and the 10 highest reporting facilities was 0.7‰ and 1.8‰, respectively. When analysed by year, the incidence rate showed an increasing trend from 2018 to 2020. Allergic (68.2%) and febrile non‐haemolytic transfusion reaction (27.1%) were the most common. The vast majority of ATRs (92.0%) were not serious, but serious cases of transfusion‐associated circulatory overload, transfusion‐associated dyspnoea and hypotensive reaction were common. Most (86.0%) of reported cases were definitely or probably associated with transfusion. Conclusion: Under‐reporting of ATRs occurs in many Chinese hospitals, but the establishment of CHN has increased ATR recognition and management. Background: This study aimed to investigate whether the relationship of prediabetes with the risk of stroke and its subtypes differed among individuals with or without hypertension. Methods: This prospective study included 85,763 participants without diabetes or a history of stroke at the baseline from the Kailuan study (2006). Prediabetes was defined as a fasting plasma glucose concentration between 5.6 and 6.9 mmol/L. We performed multiplicative and additive interaction analyses to assess the interaction effect between prediabetes and hypertension on the risk of incident stroke. Results: We found that 47.13% of all participants had no prediabetes or hypertension, 11.45% had prediabetes alone, 30.12% had hypertension alone, and 11.31% had both prediabetes and hypertension at baseline. During a median follow‐up period of 11.05 years, we documented 3972 events of incident stroke. We found that hypertension modified the relationship of prediabetes with total stroke and ischaemic stroke (p for interaction <0.05). After adjustment for potential confounders, prediabetes was significantly associated with the risk of total stroke (hazard ratio [HR] 1.33, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.18–1.52], p for interaction = 0.0147) and ischaemic stroke (HR 1.33, [95% CI 1.16–1.54], p for interaction = 0.0413) among participants without hypertension, but not among participants with hypertension. However, no interaction effect of the association between prediabetes and hypertension was observed on the risk of haemorrhagic stroke. Conclusions: Hypertension modified the association between prediabetes and risk of total and ischaemic stroke. Regulating Lewis acid–base sites in catalysts to investigate their influence in the chemical fixation of CO2 is significant but challenging. A metal–organic framework (MOF) with open metal Co sites, {(NH2Me2)[Co3(μ3‐OH)(BTB)2(H2O)]⋅9 H2O⋅5 DMF}n (1), was obtained and the results of the catalytic investigation show that 1 can catalyze cycloaddition of CO2 and aziridines to give 99 % yield. The efficiency of the cyclization of CO2 with propargyl amines is only 32 %. To improve the catalytic ability of 1, ligand XN with Lewis base sites was introduced into 1 and coordinated with the open Co sites, resulting in a decrease of the Lewis acid sites and an increase in the Lewis base sites in a related MOF 2 ({(NH2Me2)[Co3(μ3‐OH)(NHMe2)(BTB)2(XN)]⋅8 H2O⋅4 DMF}n). Selective regulation of the type of active centers causes the yield of oxazolidinones to be enhanced by about 2.4 times, suggesting that this strategy can turn on/off the catalytic activity for different reactions. The catalytic results from 2 treated with acid solution support this conclusion. This work illuminates a MOF‐construction strategy that produces efficient catalysts for CO2 conversion. Objective: This study was undertaken to identify the risk of bleeding events and potential risk factors within 90 days in patients who carried CYP2C19 loss‐of‐function alleles and received dual antiplatelet therapy after minor stroke or transient ischemic attack. Methods: A total of 6,412 patients were enrolled from the CHANCE‐2 (Clopidogrel with Aspirin in High‐Risk Patients with Acute Non‐disabling Cerebrovascular Events II) trial. The main outcome was any bleeding within 90 days defined by the criteria from GUSTO (Global Utilization of Streptokinase and Tissue Plasminogen Activator for Occluded Coronary Arteries). Results: A total of 250 (3.9%) bleeding events were reported, which occurred mainly within the 21 days of dual antiplatelet therapy (200 cases, 3.1%). Minor bleeding of the skin bruises, epistaxis, and gum bleeding were most frequent. Multivariate analysis showed that treatment with ticagrelor‐aspirin compared with clopidogrel‐aspirin was associated with increased bleeding (hazard ratio [HR] = 2.21, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.68–2.89, p < 0.001). Current smoking was associated with a lower risk of bleeding (HR = 0.70, 95% CI = 0.52–0.95, p = 0.02). Additionally, ticagrelor‐aspirin compared with clopidogrel‐aspirin was associated with higher risk of bleeding in patients aged <65 years (HR = 2.87, 95% CI = 1.95–4.22) and those without diabetes mellitus (HR = 2.65, 95% CI = 1.88–3.73; p for interaction = 0.04 and 0.03, respectively). Interpretation: Bleeding events mostly occurred within the 21‐day dual antiplatelet therapy stage and were generally mild. The risk of bleeding was greater in nonsmoking patients, and was associated with treatment with ticagrelor‐aspirin compared with clopidogrel‐aspirin, particularly in patients aged <65 years and nondiabetic patients. Background and Aim: Fusobacterium nucleatum is increasingly being recognized as an important risk factor in colorectal cancer and colorectal adenoma. Endoscopic polypectomy is associated with a decreased incidence of colorectal cancer; however, patients still suffer from a risk of metachronous adenoma. Currently, there are few effective non‐invasive factors that may predict metachronous colorectal adenoma. Here, we evaluated the performance of F. nucleatum in predicting metachronous adenoma. Methods: Fecal samples and clinical information of patients before endoscopic polypectomy were collected from 367 patients in a retrospective cohort, and 238 patients in a prospective cohort. The abundance of fecal F. nucleatum was measured via quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Surveillance colonoscopies were conducted between 1 and 3 years after polypectomy (average follow‐up 27.07 months for the retrospective cohort & 22.57 months for the prospective cohort) to identify metachronous adenoma. Candidate predictive factors and cut‐off value of F. nucleatum abundance were identified from the retrospective cohort and then validated in the prospective cohort. Results: A high abundance of fecal F. nucleatum was found to be an independent risk factor for metachronous adenomas (odds ratio, 6.38; P < 0.001) in the retrospective cohort and was validated in the prospective cohort with a specificity of 65.00%, and a sensitivity of 73.04%, and an overall performance with the area under the curve of 0.73. It has been suggested that a trade‐off between hydraulic efficiency and safety is related to drought adaptation across species. However, whether leaf hydraulic efficiency is sacrificed for safety during woody resprout regrowth after crown removal is not well understood. We measured leaf water potential (ψleaf) at predawn (ψpd) and midday (ψmid), leaf maximum hydraulic conductance (Kleaf‐max), ψleaf at induction 50% loss of Kleaf‐max (KleafP50), leaf area‐specific whole‐plant hydraulic conductance (LSC), leaf vein structure and turgor loss point (πtlp) in 1‐ to 13‐year‐old resprouts of the aridland shrub (Caragana korshinskii). ψpd was similar, ψmid and KleafP50 became more negative, and Kleaf–max decreased in resprouts with the increasing age; thus, leaf hydraulic efficiency clearly traded off against safety. The difference between ψmid and KleafP50, leaf hydraulic safety margin, increased gradually with increasing resprout age. More negative ψmid and KleafP50 were closely related to decreasing LSC and more negative πtlp, respectively, and the decreasing Kleaf‐max arose from the lower minor vein density and the narrower midrib xylem vessels. Our results showed that a clear trade‐off between leaf hydraulic efficiency and safety helps C. korshinskii resprouts adapt to increasing water stress as they approach final size. A trade‐off between leaf hydraulic efficiency and safety is proposed to be related to drought adaptation, but it is still under debate. Background and objectives: Haemovigilance involves surveillance of the whole chain of blood transfusion with the aim of identifying adverse events and errors and improving outcomes for patients. The Chinese Haemovigilance Network, founded in August 2017, has witnessed a rapid development in the last three years. Materials and methods: Based on the 1,022 cases in 2019, we analysed the adverse reactions (ARs) by blood component, clinical outcome severity and demography of recipients in an effort to publish the first annual Chinese haemovigilance report. Results: The AR rate associated with blood transfusion in 2019 was 0·2% in China. Allergic reactions and FNHTR were the two most common adverse symptoms, accounting for 97·7% of the reports. Two‐thirds of the TAD, AHTR and TACO and all of the HTR and DHTR resulted in hospitalization or prolongation of hospitalization. Plasma and AP were usually associated with allergic reaction (81·1%), whereas red cells more commonly cause FNHTR (68·8%) and all the AHTR, HTR, DSTR and DHTR. 84·1% of patients were aged 16 years or over, and the majority of the TAD, AHTR, TACO and HTR involved patients aged 60 and above. The ratio of serious adverse reactions (SARs) was 8·2%. Allergic reaction and FNHTR were top two (85·7%) SARs. The first case related to anti‐D immunoglobulin was detected in a DHTR report. Conclusion: This report provides the world's first overview of transfusion‐related adverse reactions in China. This report is useful for better understanding transfusion risks in China. Electro‐optic (E‐O) materials are essential to modern information society, especially for optical switches, modulators, and filters in optical communication. In this paper, ultrahigh transparent (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3‐xPbTiO3 (PMN‐PT) relaxor ferroelectric ceramics are fabricated. The effect of Sm‐doping content (0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 mol%) on PMN‐PT transparent ceramics is systematically investigated on the optical transparency, electro‐optic coefficient, extinction ratio, and half‐wave voltage. Results indicate that 0.5 mol% Sm‐doped PMN‐PT ceramic shows the optimal comprehensive performance, including high transparency of 69.6%, large quadratic E‐O coefficient of 35 × 10–16 m2 V−2, decent extinction ratio of 32 dB, and low half‐wave voltage (113 V at d = L = 1 mm). An electro‐optic modulator is designed based on the PMN‐PT transparent ceramics and its application in optical communication is realized, such as rapid information modulation, analog signal (audio frequency), and digital signal (graphic patterns) transmission. "Water‐in‐salt" (WIS) electrolytes, which have more salt than the solvent in both mass and volume, show promising prospects for application in supercapacitors due to their wide electrochemical stability window (about 3 V), considerable ion transport, high safety, low cost, and environmental friendliness. This Review summarizes the advances, progress, and challenges of WIS electrolytes in supercapacitors. The working mechanisms, reason for the wide electrochemical stability window, typical systems, challenges, and modification strategies of the WIS electrolytes in supercapacitors are discussed. Moreover, the application of WIS electrolytes in symmetric and asymmetric supercapacitors are presented. Finally, perspectives and the future development direction of WIS electrolytes are given. This Review is expected to provide inspiration and guidance for designing WIS electrolytes with advanced performance and push forward the development of high‐performance aqueous supercapacitors with high cell voltage, good rate performance, and thus high energy density and power density. Prehypertension is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and all-cause mortality. However, it is unclear whether prehypertension combined with diabetes associate with a higher risk for cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between prehypertension and the risk of CVD and all-cause mortality was different among individuals with or without diabetes. In the prospective community-based Kailuan study, 67 344 participants without hypertension or a history of CVD at baseline (2006) were included. Prehypertension was defined as systolic blood pressure of 120-139 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure of 80-89 mmHg. The outcomes were CVD and all-cause mortality were followed up through December 31, 2017. We performed Cox proportional hazards models to evaluate the relationships between prehypertension and CVD and all-cause mortality by diabetes status. During a median follow-up of 11.03 years, 2981 CVD events and 4655 all-cause mortality occurred. After adjusting age, sex, and other factors, the associations of prehypertension with risk of CVD and all-cause mortality were significant in participants without diabetes (hazard ratio and 95% confidence interval: 1.54 [1.38-1.71] and 1.27 [1.17-1.38]), but not in participants with diabetes (1.20 [0.93-1.56] and 0.88 [0.73-1.07]). The interactions between prehypertension and diabetes for the risk of CVD and all-cause mortality were all significant (all p < .05). Prehypertension was only associated with an increased risk for CVD and all-cause mortality in non-diabetes participants. Conventional chemotherapeutic agents are limited by their lack of targeting and penetration and their short retention time, and chemotherapy might induce an immune suppressive environment. Peptide self‐assembly can result in a specific morphology, and the resulting morphological changes are stimuli responsive to the external environment, which is important for drug permeation and retention of encapsulated chemotherapeutic agents. In this study, a polypeptide (Pep1) containing the peptide sequences PLGLAG and RGD that is responsive to matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP‐2) was successfully developed. Pep1 underwent a morphological transformation from a spherical structure to aggregates with a high aspect ratio in response to MMP‐2 induction. This drug delivery system (DI/Pep1) can transport doxorubicin (DOX) and indomethacin (IND) simultaneously to target tumor cells for subsequent drug release while extending drug retention within tumor cells, which increases immunogenic cell death and facilitates the immunotherapeutic effect of CD4+ T cells. Ultimately, DI/Pep1 attenuated tumor‐associated inflammation, enhanced the body's immune response, and inhibited breast cancer growth by combining the actions of DOX and IND. Radiographically assisted dental identification is an important means for individual identification. Specific identifiers help to quickly filter some of the possible corresponding AM and PM images at the beginning. The study seeks specific oral and maxillofacial identifiers in panoramic radiographs. A total of 920 panoramic radiographs from 460 live patients were used. The most recent radiograph served as the surrogate post‐mortem (PM) record of an unidentified person, and the earliest radiograph served as the ante‐mortem (AM) record of the same person. We evaluated the following four groups of identifiers of the images: (1) dental morphology, tooth number, and position; (2) dental treatment and pathology; (3) morphological identifiers of the jaw; and (4) pathological identifiers of the jaw. The ratio of each identifier being identified simultaneously in the AM and PM databases was determined. Specific identifiers were defined as those that appeared at low frequency (ratio: 0%–0.250%). A total of 18 specific oral and maxillofacial identifiers were determined. The specific identifiers were a retained deciduous tooth (0.011%), S‐shaped deflection of a tooth root (0.012%), distal deflection of tooth root (0.017%), inverted impaction (0.018%), malposition (0.038%), supernumerary teeth (0.061%), mesial deflection of tooth root (0.092%), microdontia (0.136%), buccal/lingual impaction (0.188%), cementoma (0.002%), hypercementosis (0.002%), continuous crown (0.004%), pulp calcification (0.023%), attrition (0.030%), residual root (0.106%), root resorption (0.137%), implant (0.156%), and osteomyelitis (0.002%). AMOLED mirror display, with a mirror integrated on the AMOLED panel, was fabricated for the first time. The metal mirror structure, aluminum layer as an example, was developed on the top of encapsulation layer using lithography technology. Aims: Perioperative neurocognitive disorders (PND) are associated with cognitive impairment in the preoperative or postoperative period, and neuroinflammation is thought to be the most important mechanisms especially during the postoperative period. The GABAergic system is easily disrupted by neuroinflammation. This study investigated the impact of the GABAergic system on PND after anesthesia and surgery. Methods: An animal model of laparotomy with inhalation anesthesia in 16‐month‐old mice was addressed. Effects of the GABAergic system were assessed using biochemical analysis. Pharmacological blocking of α5GABAARs or P38 mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) were applied to investigate the effects of the GABAergic system. Results: After laparotomy, the hippocampus‐dependent memory and long‐term potentiation were impaired, the levels of IL‐6, IL‐1β and TNF‐α up‐regulated in the hippocampus, the concentration of GABA decreased, and the protein levels of the surface α5GABAARs up‐regulated. Pharmacological blocking of α5GABAARs with L655,708 alleviated laparotomy induced cognitive deficits. Further studies found that the P38 MAPK signaling pathway was involved and pharmacological blocking with SB203,580 alleviated memory dysfunctions. Conclusions: Anesthesia and surgery caused neuroinflammation in the hippocampus, which consequently disrupted the GABAergic system, increased the expressions of surface α5GABAARs especially through the P38 MAPK signaling pathway, and eventually led to hippocampus‐dependent memory dysfunctions. As a high‐efficient photocatalyst, g‐C3N4/TiO2 (PCN) was successfully prepared by thermal polymerization. In addition, the structure and morphological characteristics of the as‐prepared samples were investigated by XRD, BET, XPS, SEM, TEM, and UV‐vis DRS. The results revealed that in the presence of g‐C3N4, the physicochemical properties of the catalyst and the band gap of PCN decreased from 3.09 eV to 2.98 eV, clearly indicative of the enhanced photocatalytic performance relative to pure P25 or g‐C3N4 under sunlight. Furthermore, the photocatalytic properties of PCN were examined by the degradation of pyridine and other nitrogen heterocyclic pollutants under sunlight irradiation. Next, the main factors affecting the photocatalytic activity were investigated in detail, including the initial concentration of the pollutant, the mass of the photocatalyst, the initial pH of the solution, and the doping amount of g‐C3N4, as well as different free‐radical scavengers. On the other hand, the reusability of PCN demonstrated that photocatalysts exhibit outstanding photocatalytic stability after 10 cycles. A new metal‐organic framework (MOF) {[Cd2(bbib)2(ndc)2]⋅2DMF}n (JXUST‐1) (bbib=1,3‐bis(benzimidazolyl)benzene, H2ndc=1,4‐naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, DMF=N,N‐dimethylformamide) has been solvothermally synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, PXRD, TGA, IR and elemental analysis. JXUST‐1 exhibits a three‐dimensional 6‐connected pcu topology with a Schläfli symbol {412.63} constructed by [Cd2(CO2)3] secondary building units. Fluorescence studies show that this MOF can sensitively and selectively recognize Al3+ via a fluorescence enhancement effect, and the detection limit is 0.048 ppm. Furthermore, JXUST‐1 displays relatively good thermal and chemical stabilities as well as reusability. All these results suggest JXUST‐1 to be a highly selective and recyclable luminescent sensing material for the detection of Al3+. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
