Chinese ancient book catalogs are important cultural heritage and academic resources for the study of ancient Chinese history and culture. These catalogs need to be curated so that their value can be fully exploited in today's digital environment. This study is based on a collaborative curation project where eight representative ancient catalogs were curated into a diachronic dataset and tools to discover and analyze the data were developed. We reviewed literature and consulted humanities scholars to derive the characteristics and curation requirements of the ancient catalogs. A collaborative model was proposed based on the requirements to guide the curation process. This model reveals the duality of humanities scholars' role in collaborative curation and depicts main curation activities including metadata and description, appraisal and selection, data processing, developing tools, access and use, and evolution. Lessons learned from the curation practice include two main issues—project personnel and humanities scholars' acceptance of visualization. Background: Whether pain, jaw function and quality of life are correlated with disc positions is controversial, and similar studies evaluating disc positions by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are very limited. Objective: This study evaluated the pain, mandibular function and quality of life of the temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) patients with different disc positions according to MRI, and the relationship among them. Methods: Three hundred and thirty‐five participants were included. Patients completed questionnaires included the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), Jaw Functional Limitation Scale 8‐item (JFLS‐8), the Generalised Anxiety Disorder 7‐item (GAD‐7), Patient Health Questionnaire 9‐item (PHQ‐9) and Oral Health Impact Profile for TMD (OHIP‐TMD). MRI was conducted to evaluate these diagnoses, resulting in the identification of three distinct categories: normal positioning (NP), disc displacement with reduction (DDwR) and disc displacement without reduction (DDwoR). Results: Participants had the mean age of 28.55 ± 11.10 years (80.90% women). DDwR and DDwoR had a higher percentage of females compared with NP. Significant differences existed among patients in all questionnaires. The DDwoR group had significantly the highest pain, functional limitation and the worst quality of life. Moreover, they experienced the most difficulties in chewing tough foods, yawning, experiencing pain and psychological discomfort. Moreover, the multivariate regression showed that age, female gender, diagnosis as DDwoR, GAD‐7 and PHQ‐9 were significantly linked to higher functional limitation. Worse quality of life was associated with age, diagnosis as DDwoR, GAD‐7 and PHQ‐9. Conclusions: Among patients with different disc positions, DDwoR showed the highest pain, functional limitation and the worst quality of life. Also, NP showed a proportion of chronic pain. Physical pain, psychological discomfort and chewing tough food were regarded as the most impaired. In order to improve the dispersibility of inorganic fillers and enhance its ceramifiable flame‐retardant efficiency, the ceramifiable flame‐retardant silicone rubber composites were prepared using glass powder, zinc borate, ammonium polyphosphate, mica powder, platinum catalyst as ceramifiable flame‐retardant agent, and various silane coupling agents as interfacial modifier. The micromorphology, mechanical properties, flame retardancy, thermal stability, and combustion behavior of ceramifiable flame‐retardant silicone rubber composites, as well as the flexural strength of the corresponding ceramics generated after pyrolysis of the composites were examined. The results reveal that the inclusion of silane coupling agents improves the dispersibility of ceramifiable flame‐retardant agents substantially. The mechanical properties, flame retardancy, thermal stability, and combustion behavior of ceramifiable flame‐retardant silicone rubber composites are all improved. When compared to a composite without a silane coupling agent, the tensile strength of the composite can be improved by up to 1.9 times. Only 0.5phr silane coupling agent is required to raise the vertical combustion rating from V‐1 to V‐0, and the composite with 3 phr KH570 has a LOI value of 38.6. Meanwhile, the heat release rate of the composite is reduced to a certain extent, and the time to ignition and residue are dramatically enhanced after the addition of silane coupling agent in the cone calorimetry test. Moreover, flexural strength of the corresponding ceramics generated after pyrolysis of the composites rapidly increases with increasing silane coupling agent content, which can reach to 24.7 MPa with addition of 3 phr KH570. In this paper, we consider the path planning problem of the Unmanned Air‐Ground Vehicle (UAV‐UGV) system for large‐scale environmental persistent surveillance. The goal is to acquire a set of periodically visited surveillance nodes while minimizing the traveling distance. Some expected key problems are the limitations of UAV speed, UGV speed, UAV endurance, and UAV field of view. To address this issue, the path planning of UAV‐UGV surveillance system is modeled as a TSP optimization problem based on multiple constraints, aiming to minimize the total path length of the system to perform the task. UAV is responsible for visiting the surveillance node and UGV serves as a mobile charging station. And a two‐layer chaotic aptenodytes forsteri optimization algorithm (Two‐CAFO) is proposed to solve this problem. Our solution has been tested in several simulated and real‐world environments. Background: For patients with advanced non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have received frontline immunochemotherapy, subsequent treatment options are limited. As the first dual programmed cell death‐1 (PD‐1)/cytotoxic T lymphocyte‐associated antigen‐4 bispecific antibody approved globally, cadonilimab demonstrated potential antitumor activity in advanced NSCLC patients resistant to anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 antibodies. Methods: We retrospectively collected efficacy and safety data from advanced NSCLC patients treated with cadonilimab‐based regimens in later therapy lines. Results: A total of 41 advanced NSCLC patients refractory to anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 therapy were enrolled. More than half of the patients received cadonilimab‐based regimen as a fourth or later line of treatment. At the data cutoff date, treatment efficacy could be evaluated in 23 patients. One patient (4.3%) achieved partial response, eight patients (34.8%) experienced stable disease, and 14 patients (60.9%) progressed. The objective response rate and disease control rate were 4.3% and 39.1%, respectively. The median progression‐free survival for all evaluated patients was 108.0 days. Due to the short follow‐up period, the median overall survival has not yet been reached. Treatment‐related adverse events (TRAEs) and immune‐related AEs occurred in 63.4% and 22% patients, respectively. The most common TRAEs included gamma‐glutamyl transferase elevation (17.1%), coughing (14.6%), and fatigue (12.2%). Five patients (12.2%) experienced grade ≥3 TRAEs. Conclusions: In this heavily pretreated cohort of advanced NSCLC patients, cadonilimab‐based regimens showed moderate antitumor efficacy with a generally tolerable and manageable safety profile. Accurately synthesizing coordination‐driven metal‐organic cages with customized shape and cavity remains a great challenge for chemists. In this work, a bottom‐up step‐wise coordination‐driven self‐assembly approach was put forward. Employing this strategy, three terpyridyl heterometallic‐organic truncated tetrahedral cages with different sizes and cavity were precisely synthesized. Firstly, the coordination of tripodal organic ligands with Ru2+ afforded dendritic metal‐organic ligands L1‐L3. Then the Ru building blocks complexed with Fe2+ and shrunk to form the desired heterometallic‐organic cages (C1‐C3). These discrete heterometallic‐organic supramolecular cages were fully characterized and displayed the large and open cavities varied from 7205 Å3 to 9384 Å3. Notably, these cages could not be directly constructed by single‐step assembly process using initial organic ligands or dimeric metal‐organic ligands, indicative of the irreplaceability of a bottom‐up step‐wise assembly strategy for size‐customized architectures. Optical metasurfaces with pronounced spectral characteristics are promising for sensor applications. Currently, deep learning (DL) offers a rapid manner to design various metasurfaces. However, conventional DL models are usually assumed as black boxes, which is difficult to explain how a DL model learns physical features, and they usually predict optical responses of metasurfaces in a fuzzy way. This makes them incapable of capturing critical spectral features precisely, such as high quality (Q) resonances, and hinders their use in designing metasurface sensors. Here, a transformer‐based explainable DL model named Metaformer for the high‐intelligence design, which adopts a spectrum‐splitting scheme to elevate 99% prediction accuracy through reducing 99% training parameters, is established. Based on the Metaformer, all‐dielectric metasurfaces based on quasi‐bound states in the continuum (Q‐BIC) for high‐performance metasensing are designed, and fabrication experiments are guided potently. The explainable learning relies on spectral position encoding and multi‐head attention of meta‐optics features, which overwhelms traditional black‐box models dramatically. ER-phagy, a selective form of autophagic degradation of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) fragments, plays an essential role in governing ER homeostasis. Dysregulation of ER-phagy is associated with the unfolded protein response (UPR), which is a major clue for evoking inflammatory diseases. However, the molecular mechanism underpinning the connection between ER-phagy and disease remains poorly defined. Here, we identified ubiquitin-associated domain-containing protein 2 (UBAC2) as a receptor for ER-phagy, while at the same time being a negative regulator of inflammatory responses. UBAC2 harbors a canonical LC3-interacting region (LIR) in its cytoplasmic domain, which binds to autophagosomal GABARAP. Upon ER-stress or autophagy activation, microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 2 (MARK2) phosphorylates UBAC2 at serine (S) 223, promoting its dimerization. Dimerized UBAC2 interacts more strongly with GABARAP, thus facilitating selective degradation of the ER. Moreover, by affecting ER-phagy, UBAC2 restrains inflammatory responses and acute ulcerative colitis (UC) in mice. Our findings indicate that ER-phagy directed by a MARK2-UBAC2 axis may provide targets for the treatment of inflammatory disease. Synopsis: Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) homeostasis is critical for maintaining optimal host immune responses. This study identifies UBAC2 as a phospho-regulated ER-phagy receptor that can suppress the unfolded protein response and sterile inflammation. A surface water body fed by groundwater is normally known as a terminal place of groundwater flow systems originating from precipitation recharge on highlands. The theory of Tóth predicted that these flow systems form a hierarchically nested structure of groundwater circulation in a composite basin. In this study, we will report new flow paths among groundwater flow systems that were unknown in Tóth's theory, identified as special seepage paths linking different surface water bodies. These seepage paths do not start from the groundwater table but can transmit water between lakes or streams that already serve as discharge zones of traditional local flow systems. As indicated in theoretical models and two real‐world cases, special seepage paths are developed if some parametric conditions are satisfied, especially when surface water bodies cut deeply below the water table or are large enough. Different surface water bodies or different river reaches can directly exchange water, chemicals and heat through deep seepage paths even when both surface and subsurface water divides exist between them. Special seepage paths may play a role in the regional scale hyporheic flow or contribute to inter‐basin groundwater flow. The knowledge of special seepage paths could greatly improve our conventional perception of surface water‐groundwater interaction, groundwater age and geochemical and heat transport at the river basin scale. Background: Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) is a type of lung cancer that develops in the squamous cells. It is known to be promoted by the activation of various signaling pathways and the dysregulation of key regulatory molecules. One such molecule, 5′‐nucleotidase domain containing 2 (NT5DC2), has been identified as a critical regulator in various cancers including lung cancer. However, there are no data regarding its role in LUSC. Methods: The mRNA expression of insulin‐like growth factor 2 mRNA–binding protein 3 (IGF2BP3), CCCTC‐binding factor (CTCF), and NT5DC2 was analyzed using quantitative real‐time polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR), whereas their protein expression was assessed using a western blotting assay. Cell proliferation was determined using a cell counting kit‐8 (CCK‐8) assay. Cell apoptosis, CD11b expression, and CD206 expression were analyzed using flow cytometry. Tube formation was assessed through a tube formation assay. Glucose consumption, lactate production, and ATP levels were measured using colorimetric methods. The effect of NT5DC2 on the malignant progression of LUSC cells was analyzed using a xenograft mouse model assay. The levels of transforming growth factor‐beta 1 (TGF‐β1) and interleukin‐10 (IL‐10) were detected using enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assays. The associations among IGF2BP3, CTCF and NT5DC2 were identified using dual‐luciferase reporter assay, RNA immunoprecipitation assay and m6A RNA immunoprecipitation assay. Results: The expression of NT5DC2 was found to be upregulated in LUSC tissues and cells when compared with normal lung tissues and normal human bronchial epithelial cells. Silencing of NT5DC2 inhibited LUSC cell proliferation, tube formation, glycolysis, M2 macrophage polarization, and tumor formation while inducing cell apoptosis. In addition, CTCF was found to transcriptionally activate NT5DC2 in LUSC cells. IGF2BP3 stabilized the mRNA expression of CTCF through m6A methylation. Further, overexpression of CTCF or NT5DC2 attenuated the effects of IGF2BP3 silencing in both NCI‐520 and SK‐MES‐1 cells. Conclusion: The IGF2BP3/CTCF axis–dependent NT5DC2 promotes M2 macrophage polarization, thereby enhancing the malignant progression of LUSC. This study was the first to reveal the role of NT5DC2 in LUSC and the underlying mechanism. Summary: Despite the clinical and molecular heterogeneity of follicular lymphoma (FL), there remains a lack of biomarker‐directed therapeutic approaches in routine clinical practice, with the notable exception of the EZH2 inhibitor tazemetostat in EZH2‐mutant FL. Here we examined whether gene mutation status predicts response to clinical mTOR inhibitors (mTORi) in FL, by performing targeted mutational profiling of biopsies from 21 relapsed/refractory FL patients treated with mTORi everolimus or temsirolimus within clinical trials. We observed an enrichment of mutations within the catalytic histone acetyltransferase (HAT) domain of CREBBP in mTORi‐responders, and describe distinct transcriptional characteristics and co‐occurring mutations of FL harbouring these mutations; reinforcing the growing appreciation of CREBBPHAT mutation as a key biological determinant and its promise as a therapeutic biomarker in FL. Conventional research on linear polarization photodetector for 2D materials has focused on the search for different anisotropic materials, combinations between materials, introducing plasmonic structures, and patterning 2D materials to improve performance. However, these methods provide limited improvement in polarization sensitivity. Here, a balanced photodetector structure is proposed that does not require an additional process and relies only on the presence of anisotropy in the material itself to substantially improve the polarization sensitivity. The balanced photodetector consists of two ReS2 photodetectors, where the single ReS2 photodetector exhibits excellent performance at 650 nm illumination, including a responsivity and detectivity of 0.28 A W−1 and 4.22 × 109 Jones. Benefiting from the anisotropy of ReS2, the single photodetector achieves excellent polarization sensitivity of 2.79 at 650 nm. The balanced photodetector system achieves an excellent performance of ≈20 dB linear polarization extinction ratio and 0.003° Hz−1/2 noise equivalent light polarization difference at 100 kHz. These performances can also be further optimized by adjusting the gate voltage. The results provide a basis for further development of high‐performance polarization photodetector for 2D materials. Parasite‐mediated selection is widely believed to play a crucial role in maintaining the diversity of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) genes, which is thought to be maintained through heterozygote advantage, rare‐allele advantage, and fluctuating selection. However, the relationship between parasite pressure and MHC diversity has yielded inconsistent findings. These inconsistencies may arise from the influence of environmental factors and individual variations in traits on host–parasite interactions. To address these issues, our study extensively investigated populations of striped hamsters inhabiting regions characterized by environmental heterogeneity. The primary objective was to examine the universality of parasite‐mediated selection mechanisms. Our observations revealed the presence of multiple parasite infections, accompanied by spatial and temporal variations in parasite communities and infection patterns among individual hamsters. Specifically, the temperature was found to influence all four parasite indices, while the presence of gamasid mites and parasite richness decreased with increasing precipitation. We also noted significant seasonal variation in parasite dynamics. Moreover, a significant sexual dimorphism was observed with males exhibiting a considerably higher parasite burden compared to their female counterparts. Lastly, we identified the maintenance of MHC polymorphism in striped hamsters as being driven by the heterozygote advantage and fluctuating selection mechanisms. This study underscores the significance of ecological processes in comprehending host–parasite systems and highlights the necessity of considering environmental factors and individual traits when elucidating the mechanisms underlying MHC diversity mediated by parasites. Nowadays, sodium‐ion batteries are considered the most promising large‐scale energy storage systems (EESs) due to the low cost and wide distribution of sodium sources as well as the similar working principle to lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). Therefore, screening suitable materials with high abundance, low cost, and excellent reliability and modified with different strategies based on them is the key point for the development of sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs). In addition, the ideal anodes with high abundance, and low cost elements also greatly influence the cost of SIB systems, determining the large‐scale application. Herein, recent advances in carbon, iron, manganese, and phosphorus‐based anodes of various types, such as hard carbon, iron oxides, manganese oxides, and red phosphorus, are highlighted. The various sodium storage mechanisms and structure‐function properties for these four types of materials are summarized and analyzed in detail. Considering the commercial profits that the EESs can bring and their suitability for mass electrode manufacturing, the participation of high‐abundance and low‐cost elements such as Fe, Mn, C, and P is convincing and encouraging. Polarization‐sensitive photodetectors have garnered significant interest due to their promising applications in navigation, remote sensing, and optical communication. However, conventional polarized light detectors relying on optical filters face challenges due to intricate fabrication and calibration procedures. While structures based on in‐plane anisotropic 2D materials have the potential to offer viable solutions for polarization detection, achieving both low power consumption and high performance remains challenging. Herein, a self‐powered anisotropic/isotropic ReS2/SnSe2 van der Waals (vdWs) heterojunction detector with high‐performance features is constructed. This device exhibits outstanding photovoltaic (PV) performance across a wide spectral range from 405 to 850 nm without bias, featuring excellent responsivity (0.966 A W−1) and specific detectivity (1.47 × 1010 Jones) under 650 nm laser illumination. Moreover, benefiting from the built‐in electric field that promotes carrier separation and extremely low dark current, the device shows fast response time (230/240 µs) with an on/off ratio of up to 104. Furthermore, the ReS2/SnSe2 photodetector demonstrates exceptional polarization encoding performance, with a polarization ratio of 1.56 under 650 nm illumination, opening up new possibilities in optical communication technology development. BACKGROUND: Ensuring the efficient recognition and management of crop pests is crucial for maintaining the balance in global agricultural ecosystems and ecological harmony. Deep learning‐based methods have shown promise in crop pest recognition. However, prevailing methods often fail to address a critical issue: biased pest training dataset distribution stemming from the tendency to collect images primarily in certain environmental contexts, such as paddy fields. This oversight hampers recognition accuracy when encountering pest images dissimilar to training samples, highlighting the need for a novel approach to overcome this limitation. RESULTS: We introduce the Decoupled Feature Learning (DFL) framework, leveraging causal inference techniques to handle training dataset bias. DFL manipulates the training data based on classification confidence to construct different training domains and employs center triplet loss for learning class‐core features. The proposed DFL framework significantly boosts existing baseline models, attaining unprecedented recognition accuracies of 95.33%, 92.59%, and 74.86% on the Li, DFSPD, and IP102 datasets, respectively. CONCLUSION: Extensive testing on three pest datasets using standard baseline models demonstrates the superiority of DFL in pest recognition. The visualization results show that DFL encourages the baseline models to capture the class‐core features. ABSTRACT Wild species of domesticated crops provide valuable genetic resources for resistance breeding. Prunus davidiana, a wild relative of peach with high heterozygosity and diverse stress tolerance, exhibits high resistance against aphids. However, the highly heterozygous genome of P. davidiana makes determining the underlying factors influencing resistance traits challenging. Here, we present the 501.7 Mb haplotype‐resolved genome assembly of P. davidiana. Genomic comparisons of the two haplotypes revealed 18,152 structural variations, 2,699 Pda_hap1‐specific and 2,702 Pda_hap2‐specific genes, and 1,118 allele‐specific expressed genes. Genome composition indicated 4.1% of the P. davidiana genome was non‐peach origin, out of which 94.5% was derived from almond. Based on the haplotype genome, the aphid resistance quantitative trait locus (QTL) was mapped at the end of Pda03. From the aphid resistance QTL, PdaWRKY4 was identified as the major dominant gene, with a 9‐bp deletion in its promoter of the resistant phenotype. Specifically, PdaWRKY4 regulates aphid resistance by promoting PdaCYP716A1‐mediated anti‐aphid metabolite betulin biosynthesis. Moreover, we employed a genome design to develop a breeding workflow for rapidly and precisely producing aphid‐resistant peaches. RNA‐based therapeutics have emerged as a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy, encompassing the silencing of immune checkpoint genes, chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR‐T) cell production, and antitumor vaccines. Despite their tremendous potential, the urgent need for the development of clinically applicable delivery systems remains paramount. In this study, vesicle‐like nanoparticles (VNPs) are devised using clinically approved amphiphilic polymers and lipids as the delivery system for siRNA and mRNA. Through meticulous formulation adjustments of cationic lipids and ionizable lipids, a VNP formulation with exceptional transfection efficiency is identified. Notably, the VNPs maintained their remarkable transfection efficiency even after 6 months of storage. When loaded with siPD‐L1 and siCD47, these VNPs effectively silenced two critical immune checkpoint genes, enabling successful cancer immunotherapy. Moreover, when employed as a delivery system for mRNA vaccines, the VNPs induced a robust population of antigen‐specific CD8+ T cells in immunized mice. This led to the successful suppression of tumor growth (5 out of 8 subjects becoming tumor‐free) and nearly complete inhibition of lung metastasis. Constructing organic‐inorganic composites presents a promising approach to enhance the nonlinear optical (NLO) response of materials. However, the effectiveness of this approach is impeded by the complexity of synthesis procedures and challenges in controlling the loading amount. Herein, a convenient and controllable electrodeposition method to non‐covalently combine SnS2 with tetracationic porphyrin (TMPyP) and the remarkable enhancement in NLO absorption of the resultant composite, are introduced. Through this method, a series of SnS2/TMPyP thin films are synthesized, allowing for the regulation of porphyrin loading via varying the deposition time. These resultant SnS2/TMPyP composites exhibit prominent nonlinear absorption coefficients when subjected to femtosecond laser irradiation of varying wavelengths. Notably, the compound with an electrochemical deposition time of 30 s achieves the largest third‐order nonlinear absorption coefficient of 6155 ± 243 cm GW−1 under 800 nm laser excitation, marking an 8.9‐fold increase compared to pristine SnS2 nanosheets. Based on the staggered energy level structure between TMPyP and SnS2, effective enhancement of charge separation/transfer is achieved by leveraging the unique π‐conjugated groups of porphyrins, which facilitates the NLO process and improves the NLO performance of films. To enhance the photoluminescence (PL) of unconventional luminescent compounds, particularly their persistent room temperature phosphorescence (p‐RTP) performance, compressing the powder into tablets has been demonstrated as a viable approach. Nevertheless, the alterations in the emission capability of PL in compacted tablets have not been comprehensively investigated. In this study, four polyacrylamide (PAM) with controllable molecular weight (MW) are fabricated from powder to tablets, and their PL emission properties are thoroughly examined and compared with corresponding powders to elucidate the emission mechanism. As MW increases, both PL and p‐RTP emissions of the tablets gradually intensify, exhibiting significant enhancement compared to the corresponding powder while retaining the characteristic blue shift. Through small angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS), construction of molecular models for tablets, detailed analysis of molecular interactions, and theoretical calculations are conducted to reasonably explain these emission phenomena using clustering‐triggered emission (CTE) and average packing density promoted emission (PDE) mechanisms. These findings not only advance the understanding of nonconventional luminogens' emission mechanisms but also offer new insights for preparing nonconventional luminescent polymers with controllable p‐RTP emission performance. Graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) assisted photocatalytic production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2 has already attracted the interest of many researchers due to its environmental sustainability. Nevertheless, the inherent drawbacks of g‐C3N4 limit its progress. Metal‐free modification strategies, including nanostructure design, defect introduction, doping, and heterojunction construction, have been developed to improve the efficiency of g‐C3N4 photocatalytic H2O2 production. Compared to metal modification, metal‐free strategies avoid the use of precious metals and the leaching of heavy metal ions, which have the advantages of good stability and environmental friendliness. However, a comprehensive review of H2O2 production from g‐C3N4 modified by metal‐free strategies is still lacking. This review first recaps the mechanism of photocatalytic H2O2 production by g‐C3N4, including photoexcitation, carrier separation and redox reactions. Then, the perspective advances in metal‐free modified g‐C3N4 photocatalysts are presented, with the special focus on the kernel connection between different strategies and mechanism based on the pivotal stages of H2O2 production. Subsequently, recent applications of g‐C3N4‐based photocatalysts for in situ generated H2O2, mainly including water purification and organic synthesis, are briefly discussed. Percolation behavior is highly significant for mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties, as well as manufacturing processes of conductive polymer composites (CPCs). It has been reported that temperature and external loads are important parameters directly affecting the percolation threshold. Herein, carbon black/polypropylene (CB/PP) and carbon black/multiwalled carbon nanotubes/polypropylene (CB/MWCNTs/PP) composites are prepared via the melt blending method. After the synthesis of composites, the rheological properties, the filler distribution, crystallization, and conductive network formation within the composite are evaluated. The effect of conductive network structure on conductive percolation behavior is studied under various compressive strains and temperatures. Finally, the sensing performance under compressive strain and temperature cycling is discussed. Obtained results reveal that MWCNTs work as "bridges" between segregated CB particles leading to a synergic effect on the conducting properties. The volume resistivity of PP‐based CPCs exhibits a critical strain and a positive temperature coefficient (PTC), resulting in altered percolation. PP‐based CPCs with the addition of MWCNTs have greater PTC intensity, demonstrating sensing stability and sensitivity to compressive strain under temperature cycling. This study underscores the essential contribution of MWCNTs in building conductive networks and elucidates the potential application of PP‐based CPCs with superior sensing performance under compressive strain and varying temperatures. Summary Although chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with obesity, few studies have used visceral adipose tissue (VAT) as an indicator to investigate its causal effect on CKD. Therefore, Mendelian randomization (MR) was employed to study the causal effects of VAT on CKD and its potential mediation by hypertension. Genome‐wide association study (GWAS) statistics on VAT exposure were obtained from the UK Biobank, while GWAS datasets of CKD outcomes were obtained from CKDGen and FinnGen (validation study). Furthermore, VAT was considered the exposure, with the estimated glomerular filtration rate based on creatinine (eGFR (crea)), estimated glomerular filtration rate based on cystatin C (eGFR(cys)), and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) employed to assess the causal effect of VAT on kidney test indicators. Lastly, a two‐step MR method was used to study the mediating role of hypertension in the pathogenesis of VAT among patients with CKD. VAT exhibited a positive causal association with CKD, irrespective of whether the GWAS datasets from CKDGen (odds ratio [OR] = 1.18, 95% CI: 1.08 to 1.29, P = 1.433140e−04) or FinnGen (1.47, 1.30 to 1.67, p = 2.500000e−09). VAT was not causally associated with eGFR (crea) (1.00, 0.99 to 1.00, p = 0.53), was negatively associated with eGFR (cys) (0.95, 0.93 to 0.97, P = 5.070000e−10), and was positively associated with BUN (1.02,1.01 to 1.02, P = 7.824860e−04). The multifunctional composite elastomers serve as thermal interface materials for heat dissipation in electronic devices when their thermal transport performance is enhanced. The common method for enhancement, continuously raising the thermal conductive filler loading only can improve thermal conductivity of composite elastomers but reduces compliance, resulting in elevated contact thermal resistance with solid surfaces, compromising thermal transport. To address this, we propose grafting short dangling chains onto the composite elastomer matrix to further promote compliance under a certain filler loading. Characterization results demonstrate that the grafted chains effectively reduce relaxation time, enabling faster deformation for the material under pressure. This approach enhances interfacial compatibility, widening the thermal transport path at contact interfaces to contact thermal resistance by 94% (from 17.8 to 1.07 mm2W/K), significantly improving overall thermal transport. Additionally, we discussed the feasibility of employing composite elastomers as thermal interface materials for efficient chip heat dissipation. Spherical harmonics are a favorable technique for 3D representation, employing a frequency‐based approach through the spherical harmonic transform (SHT). Typically, SHT is performed using equiangular sampling grids. However, these grids are non‐uniform on spherical surfaces and exhibit local anisotropy, a common limitation in existing spherical harmonic decomposition methods. This paper proposes a 3D representation method using Fibonacci Spherical Harmonics (FSH3D). We introduce a spherical Fibonacci grid (SFG), which is more uniform than equiangular grids for SHT in the frequency domain. Our method employs analytical weights for SHT on SFG, effectively assigning sampling errors to spherical harmonic degrees higher than the recovered band‐limited function. This provides a novel solution for spherical harmonic transformation on non‐equiangular grids. The key advantages of our FSH3D method include: 1) With the same number of sampling points, SFG captures more features without bias compared to equiangular grids; 2) The root mean square error of 32‐degree spherical harmonic coefficients is reduced by approximately 34.6% for SFG compared to equiangular grids; and 3) FSH3D offers more stable frequency domain representations, especially for rotating functions. FSH3D enhances the stability of frequency domain representations under rotational transformations. Its application in 3D shape reconstruction and 3D shape classification results in more accurate and robust representations. In this work, different kinds of silane coupling agents modified expanded graphite (MEG) fillers were successfully prepared and then incorporated into silicon rubber matrix to fabricate flame‐retardant composite materials (SR/MEG). The inserted MEG fillers with siloxane chains exhibited good compatibility with the silicon rubber matrix, which cannot only reduce the negative impact of adding fillers on mechanical properties but also endow the silicon rubber composites with ideal flame retardancy. Subsequently, platinum (Pt) catalyst was incorporated into the SR/MEG composites to prepare SR/MEG/Pt composites, and the synergistic effects of MEG and Pt catalyst on the thermal stability, flame retardancy, and combustion behavior of silicon rubber composites were systematically investigated. The target SR/MEG/Pt composite with appropriate addition of MEG and Pt catalyst can obtain relatively high char residue of 41.9% and limiting oxygen index value of 29.6%, as well as achieve V‐0 rating in the vertical combustion test, owing to the formation of expanded and dense silicon–carbon protective layer under the catalysis of Pt catalyst. Moreover, the cone calorimeter test results showed that the peak of heat release rate and total heat release of SR/MEG composites were further reduced after the addition of an appropriate amount of Pt catalyst, manifesting the good synergistic effect of MEG and Pt catalyst on the flame retardancy performance of silicon rubber. Summary: Apple is an important cash crop in China, and it is susceptible to fungal infections that have deleterious effects on its yield. Apple bitter rot caused by Colletorichum gloeosporioides is one of the most severe fungal diseases of apple. Salicylic acid (SA) is a key signalling molecule in the plant disease resistance signalling pathways. Lignin synthesis also plays a key role in conferring disease resistance. However, few studies have clarified the relationship between the SA disease resistance signalling pathway and the lignin disease resistance pathway in apple. MdMYB46 has previously been shown to promote lignin accumulation in apple and enhance salt and osmotic stress tolerance. Here, we investigated the relationship between MdMYB46 and biological stress; we found that MdMYB46 overexpression enhances the resistance of apple to C. gloeosporioides. We also identified MdARF1, a transcription factor upstream of MdMYB46, via yeast library screening and determined that MdARF1 was regulated by miR7125 through psRNATarget prediction. This regulatory relationship was confirmed through LUC and qRT‐PCR experiments, demonstrating that miR7125 negatively regulates MdARF1. Analysis of the miR7125 promoter revealed that miR7125 responds to SA signals. The accumulation of SA level will result in the decrease of miR7125 expression level. In sum, the results of our study provide novel insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the resistance of apple to C. gloeosporioides and reveal a new pathway that enhances lignin accumulation in apple in response to SA signals. The aim of this work was to investigate the therapeutic effect of modified Shisiwei Jianzhong Decoction (SJD) on aplastic anemia (AA) and its potential pharmacological mechanism from the perspective of mitophagy. A comprehensive approach combining network pharmacology, mendelian randomization, molecular docking and animal experiments was applied to evaluate the properties of SJD against AA. By integrating multiple databases, it was determined that SJD exerted its therapeutic effect on AA by targeting three key targets [mammalian target of rapamycin (MTOR), poly(ADP‐ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1) and Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1)] through four core compounds (quercetin, resveratrol, genistein and curcumin). Mendelian randomization analysis identified MTOR as a risk factor for AA occurrence while PARP1 was a protective factor. Results of animal experiments showed that SJD improved peripheral blood counts and promoted the proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells. Mechanistically, SJD, especially at high dose, played a therapeutic role in AA by activating mitophagy‐related proteins PTEN induced kinase 1 (PINK1)/Parkin and inhibiting the phosphatidylinositol 3‐kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase (AKT)/MTOR pathway. This study revealed for the first time the core chemical composition of SJD and its pharmacological effects against AA, which can restore hematopoietic function by activating mitophagy. For the multistage progression of prostate cancer (PCa) and resistance to immunotherapy, tumour‐associated macrophage is an essential contributor. Although immunotherapy is an important and promising treatment modality for cancer, most patients with PCa are not responsive towards it. In addition to exploring new therapeutic targets, it is imperative to identify highly immunotherapy‐sensitive individuals. This research aimed to establish a signature risk model, which derived from the macrophage, to assess immunotherapeutic responses and predict prognosis. Data from the UCSC‐XENA, GEO and TISCH databases were extracted for analysis. Based on both single‐cell datasets and bulk transcriptome profiles, a macrophage‐related score (MRS) consisting of the 10‐gene panel was constructed using the gene set variation analysis. MRS was highly correlated with hypoxia, angiogenesis, and epithelial‐mesenchymal transition, suggesting its potential as a risk indicator. Moreover, poor immunotherapy responses and worse prognostic performance were observed in the high‐MRS group of various immunotherapy cohorts. Additionally, APOE, one of the constituent genes of the MRS, affected the polarisation of macrophages. In particular, the reduced level of M2 macrophage and tumour progression suppression were observed in PCa xenografts which implanted in Apolipoprotein E‐knockout mice. Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is currently one of the most popular technologies for measuring brain activity in both research and clinical contexts. However, clinical constraints often result in short fMRI scan durations, limiting the diagnostic performance for brain disorders. To address this limitation, we developed an end‐to‐end frequency‐specific dual‐attention‐based adversarial network (FDAA‐Net) to extend the time series of existing blood oxygen level‐dependent (BOLD) data, enhancing their diagnostic utility. Our approach leverages the frequency‐dependent nature of fMRI signals using variational mode decomposition (VMD), which adaptively tracks brain activity across different frequency bands. We integrated the generative adversarial network (GAN) with a spatial–temporal attention mechanism to fully capture relationships among spatially distributed brain regions and temporally continuous time windows. We also introduced a novel loss function to estimate the upward and downward trends of each frequency component. We validated FDAA‐Net on the Human Connectome Project (HCP) database by comparing the original and predicted time series of brain regions in the default mode network (DMN), a key network activated during rest. FDAA‐Net effectively overcame linear frequency‐specific challenges and outperformed other popular prediction models. Test–retest reliability experiments demonstrated high consistency between the functional connectivity of predicted outcomes and targets. Furthermore, we examined the clinical applicability of FDAA‐Net using short‐term fMRI data from individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and major depressive disorder (MDD). The model achieved a maximum predicted sequence length of 40% of the original scan durations. The prolonged time series improved diagnostic performance by 8.0% for ASD and 11.3% for MDD compared with the original sequences. As the online market rapidly develops, firms will face strategic consumers who differ in buying times. Given that the leadership structure in supply chains affects the chain members' decision‐making and performance, we study this impact in a two‐period dynamic pricing setting with an upstream manufacturer and a downstream retailer, where the patience degree of consumers is the retailer's private information. We examine two leadership scenarios: retailer dominance and manufacturer dominance. The two members play a signaling game under retailer dominance, whereas the manufacturer can only set its wholesale price based on its prior belief under manufacturer dominance. Our analysis indicates that when consumers are more patient, the retailer tends to share its private information with the manufacturer under retailer dominance to avoid the reduction of its retail margin and enhance its profitability. However, the retailer may keep the consumers' patience information private when the manufacturer dominates the supply chain because the manufacturer will set a compromised wholesale price and passively cede profits to the retailer. Extractive distillation is used for separating oxygenates from other components in the C6 cut oil from Fischer‐Tropsch Synthesis followed by separating 1‐hexene from N‐hexane using the same solvent as the extractant. Furfural (FUR) is identified as an excellent solvent for extractive distillation of the C6 cut from FTS oil for separating oxygenates from other components as well as for separating 1‐hexene from N‐hexane via searching from more than 100 solvents by simulation using Aspen Plus. The behavior of the newly found solvent FUR is compared with that of the reported best solvent N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (NMP) and the results show that FUR scheme has the advantages of lower market price, lower dosage needed, less reboiler duty required and higher overall tray efficiency for fulfilling the same separation task. Background: Despite patients with successful revascularization as evidenced by angiographic findings, inadequate clinical management of coronary microcirculatory dysfunction (CMD) may result in preventable adverse outcomes. Therefore, it is imperative to use a multimodal data‑driven predictive model for the occurrence of CMD in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) following emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: A prospective case−control analysis was conducted on a cohort of 77 patients with AMI who underwent PCI. The most informative predictors were selected for the predictive model through the application of LASSO analysis and multi‐factor logistic regression. The diagnosis of CMD is based on findings from cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR). Results: Based on the findings from LASSO analysis and multi‐factor logistic regression, variables including sex, neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (NLR), Gensini score, and diabetes mellitus were identified as independent predictors for the development of CMD in AMI patients who underwent emergency PCI. The predictive model was evaluated using bootstrap self‐sampling 500 times. The resulting predictive model demonstrated an AUC value of 0.897 (95% CI: 0.827−0.958). The calibration curves exhibited good concordance between the predictions generated by the model and the CMR analysis. Furthermore, decision curve analysis revealed that the predictive model provided valuable clinical benefit in predicting CMD. Conclusions: The multivariate predictive model, constructed using readily available clinical variables in patients with AMI who underwent PCI, demonstrates satisfactory predictability for identifying comorbid CMD, thereby facilitating the identification of high‐risk patients. Background: Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMDs) are common in young adults, and the link between chronotype profile and TMDs is unclear. Objective: This study examined TMD prevalence and chronotype distribution and explored the relationship between chronotype and TMDs in young adults. Materials and Methods: A total of 663 students from Sichuan University completed questionnaires. Chronotype profiles were assessed using the Morningness‐Eveningness Questionnaire, and TMDs were screened using the Fonseca Memory Index. To validate the findings, 68 TMD patients and 136 controls were enrolled. Results: The prevalence of TMDs was 69.7%, with significant differences among chronotype profiles. The intermediate profile was the most common chronotype. Eveningness profile was associated with higher TMDs prevalence and severity. Muscle pain and side movement difficulty scores were higher in eveningness and intermediate profiles. Female gender (OR 2.345; 95% CI 1.668–3.297) was a TMD risk factor, while morningness profile (OR 0.537; 95% CI 0.297–0.970) was protective. Validation with TMD patients and controls supported these findings, showing higher eveningness profile prevalence in the TMD groups. Conclusions: TMDs have a high prevalence in college students, chronotype profiles shown to be associated with TMDs. Many chemical transport models treat mineral dust as spherical. Solar backscatter retrievals of trace gases (e.g., OMI and TROPOMI) implicitly treat mineral dust as spherical. The impact of the morphology of mineral dust particles is studied to assess its implications for global chemical transport model (GEOS‐Chem) simulations and solar backscatter trace gas retrievals at ultraviolet and visible (UV‐Vis) wavelengths. We investigate how the morphology of mineral dust particles affects the simulated dust aerosol optical depth; surface area, reaction, and diffusion parameters for heterogeneous chemistry; phase function, and scattering weights for air mass factor (AMF) calculations used in solar backscatter retrievals. We use a mixture of various aspect ratios of spheroids to model the dust optical properties and a combination of shape and porosity to model the surface area, reaction, and diffusion parameters. We find that assuming spherical particles can introduce size‐dependent and wavelength‐dependent errors of up to 14% in simulated dust extinction efficiency with corresponding error in simulated dust optical depth typically within 5%. We find that use of spheroids rather than spheres increases forward scattered radiance and decreases backward scattering that in turn decrease the sensitivity of solar backscatter retrievals of NO2 to aerosols by factors of 2.0–2.5. We develop and apply a theoretical framework based on porosity and surface fractal dimension with corresponding increase in the reactive uptake coefficient driven by increased surface area and species reactivity. Differences are large enough to warrant consideration of dust non‐sphericity for chemical transport models and UV‐Vis trace gas retrievals. Flood forecasting in data‐scarce catchments is challenging for hydrologists. To address this issue, a regional long short‐term memory model (R‐LSTM) is proposed. Given the diverse physical characteristics of sub‐catchments, this model scalarises the runoff data based on catchment attributes including area, confluence path length, slope and minimum and maximum runoff values, thereby eliminating the local influence and producing a geomorphological‐runoff factor as the model input. To assess the effectiveness of R‐LSTMs for flood forecasting in data‐scarce basins, the Jiaodong Peninsula in China was selected as the study area. The proposed R‐LSTMs are compared with local LSTMs, regional LSTMs that do not use catchment attributes, or regional LSTMs that incorporate catchment attributes in different ways. The results show that R‐LSTMs outperform the benchmarking LSTM models, especially in the simulation of flood peaks. The study indicates the potential of regionalization and the benefit of building the scalarised inputs of runoff data for regional LSTM that consider catchment attributes meticulously. BACKGROUND: Water content and chlorophyll content are important indicators for monitoring rice growth status. Simultaneous detection of water content and chlorophyll content is of significance. Different varieties of rice show differences in phenotype, resulting in the difficulties of establishing a universal model. In this study, hyperspectral imaging was used to detect the Soil and Plant Analyzer Development (SPAD) values and water content of fresh rice leaves of three rice varieties (Jiahua 1, Xiushui 121 and Xiushui 134). RESULTS: Both partial least squares regression and convolutional neural networks were used to establish single‐task and multi‐task models. Transfer component analysis (TCA) was used as transfer learning to learn the common features to achieve an approximate identical distribution between any two varieties. Single‐task and multi‐task models were also built using the features of the source domain, and these models were applied to the target domain. These results indicated that for models of each rice variety the prediction accuracy of most multi‐task models was close to that of single‐task models. As for TCA, the results showed that the single‐task model achieved good performance for all transfer learning tasks. CONCLUSION: Compared with the original model, good and differentiated results were obtained for the models using features learned by TCA for both the source domain and target domain. The multi‐task models could be constructed to predict SPAD values and water content simultaneously and then transferred to another rice variety, which could improve the efficiency of model construction and realize rapid detection of rice growth indicators. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry. BACKGROUND: Natural emulsifiers are increasingly preferred by the food industry to meet consumers' demand for 'clean‐label' emulsion products. In the present study, 10 short‐term retrograded starches with unique molecular structures were explored to examine the relationships between starch structures and their ability to form stable oil‐in‐water emulsions. RESULTS: Waxy maize starch showed the largest value of contact angle and conductivity of emulsion, whereas potato and lentil starch showed the lowest value of contact angle and conductivity of emulsion, respectively. Emulsion prepared by rice starch showed the lowest, whereas that of sweet potato starch showed the highest value of viscosity. Consequentially, the emulsion stabilized with waxy maize and tapioca starch showed the smallest and less polydisperse droplets, resulting in a much higher emulsifying index. On the other hand, emulsion prepared with potato starch showed the highest stability compared to other starches. Correlation analysis suggested that starches with larger molecular size, a lower amylose content and shorter amylopectin short chains had a higher emulsification ability, whereas the amount of starch molecular interactions formed during short‐term retrogradation revealed no obvious linking to emulsion performances. Secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formed through the atmospheric transformation of organic vapors constitutes a significant portion of fine particulate matter or PM2.5. While recent laboratory studies underscore the importance of intermediate‐volatility organic compounds (IVOCs) as key precursors to SOA, field observations that recognize the role of both volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and IVOCs in SOA formation remain scarce. In this study, we conducted concurrent measurements of VOCs and IVOCs in ambient air at urban and suburban sites in Guangzhou during a PM2.5 pollution event in winter 2021. The results reveal that between 12:00–15:00 local time, the photochemically adjusted initial concentrations of VOCs at both sites were approximately 7 times higher than that of IVOCs. However, the SOA formation potential (SOAFP) of primary hydrocarbon IVOCs exceeded that of VOCs by over 3–4 times. Receptor modeling results further indicated that while ship emissions contributed to less than 10% of the C2–C22 primary hydrocarbons concentration (VOCs + primary carbonaceous IVOCs), they accounted for the most significant source (approximately 40%) of SOA formation. This study highlights the substantial role of IVOCs in SOA formation and emphasizes the importance of future PM2.5 pollution control measures targeting major IVOCs contributors, such as ship emissions in harbor cities. Defects and microstructures have been utilized to effectively modulate electromagnetic (EM) wave absorption for mitigating electromagnetic pollution and stealth issues. However, precisely feasibly tailoring them still remains challenging. Here, by using a multilevel hollow cobalt sulfide embedded in a heteroatomic sulfur (S) ‐doped carbon aerogel, a preferential reaction strategy of modulating point defects and hollow microstructures via controllable S atoms migration is proposed to improve the EM wave absorption. S atoms contribute to the creation of hollow structures via Kirkendall effects, as well as inducing point defects in the carbon lattice through doping. More significantly, the mechanisms prioritizing the formation of hollow structures over defects have been discovered, with low‐velocity atomic migration primarily modulating the microstructure for interfacial polarization and impedance matching, and high‐velocity atom migration focused on introducing defects to achieve polarization and conductive loss. The resulting aerogel exhibits an exceptionally maximum reflection loss of −52.82 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth of 8.82 GHz, which far exceeds most of the currently reported materials. Experimental and theoretical approaches, including microwave heating, Tesla interaction, first principles, and far‐field simulation, are comprehensively employed to verify its absorption effect and mechanism.
