Dielectric films with high discharged energy density are highly desired in electrical and electronic systems. Adding inorganic nanoparticles, especially for 1D inorganic fillers, in polymer films is recognized as one of the most effective methods to improve the electric breakdown strength, which is a key parameter of energy storage. However, 1D inorganic fillers added into thin films will undoubtedly introduce many defects and reduce the electric insulation performance. Herein, homogeneous epoxy fiber derived all‐polymer films are fabricated by electrospinning, laminating, and curing in sequence. The existing 1D structure of the epoxy films significantly enhance the dielectric constant and electric breakdown strength, resulting in a very high enhancement of 2.7 times the discharged energy storage density at 25 °C, up to 9.6 J cm−3. Assisted by the simulation analysis, the enhanced dipole polarization and reduced current density are found to be the main reasons for the improved energy storage performances. Background: Marginal zone lymphomas (MZLs) comprise a diverse group of indolent lymphoproliferative disorders; however, some patients develop histologic transformation (HT) with rapid progression to aggressive lymphoma. Methods: Forty‐three MZLs with HT (HT‐MZLs), 535 MZLs, and 174 de novo diffuse large B‐cell lymphomas (DLBCLs) without rearrangements of MYC, BCL2, and BCL6 were collected. Among these, 22 HT‐MZLs, 39 MZLs, and 174 DLBCLs were subjected to 148‐gene targeted exome sequencing. The clinicopathologic features of patients who had HT‐MZL and their genetic alterations were compared with those of patients who had MZLs and DLBCLs. Results: All 43 HT‐MZLs corresponded to DLBCLs. No HT‐MZLs harbored BCL2 and MYC and/or BCL6 rearrangements. Bone marrow involvement and higher levels of lactate dehydrogenase were significantly more common in HT‐MZLs than in MZLs. Furthermore, upregulated BCL6, MUM1, C‐MYC, and Ki‐67 expression was observed more frequently in HT‐MZLs than in MZLs. TBL1XR1 was the most frequently altered gene (63.6%) in HT‐MZLs, followed by CCND3 (31.8%), CARD11, ID3, and TP53 (22.7%). A trend toward worse progression‐free survival in patients with TBL1XR1 mutations was observed. Compared with MZLs and non–germinal center B‐cell (GCB) type DLBCLs, significantly higher frequencies of TBL1XR1 and ID3 mutations were identified in HT‐MZLs. PIM1 mutations frequently occurred in DLBCLs and were significantly associated with TBL1XR1 mutations but were mutated less in HT‐MZLs that had TBL1XR1 mutations. Conclusions: The current findings reveal the clinicopathologic and genetic features of HT‐MZLs, suggesting that these tumors might constitute a group distinct from MZL and de novo non–GCB type DLBCL. TBL1XR1 mutations may be considered a predictor of HT in MZL. A majority of marginal zone lymphomas with histologic transformation harbor TBL1XR1 mutations. Marginal zone lymphomas with histologic transformation exhibit immunophenotypic and genetic features that differ from those of marginal zone lymphomas and de novo diffuse large B‐cell lymphomas. Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) have garnered significant attention due to their high efficiency and low emissions. However, PEMFC always suffers mass transfer and water management in performance improvement. Herein, an integrated gas diffusion layer (GDL) with wavy channel and micro‐tunneled rib is designed and prepared to achieve faster and gentler mass transfer and excellent water management capability by laser engraving. Outstandingly, the new integrated GDL can use the back pressure of air as low as 0 and 50 kPa to respectively achieve 80% and 90% of fuel cell performance realized under pure oxygen. Such high performance is mainly due to the turbulent flow caused by wavy channel and express removing pathway of liquid water provided by micro‐tunneled rib. Moreover, the new integrated GDL also shows wide humidity tolerance from 40% to 100% and a very high specific volume power density of 16,300 W L−1 due to the thin thickness of new integrated GDL. Dear Editor, Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is an oncogenic virus and a major risk factor for developing hepatocellular carcinoma.[1] Growing evidence also suggests that HBV infection is linked to an increased incidence of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).[1] Among 1925 newly diagnosed DLBCL patients (Figure S1), we revealed that DLBCLs with current HBV infection (HBV-surface-antigen [HBsAg]+), instead of those with previous HBV infection (HBsAg- and antibodies against HBV-core-antigen+), correlated with high-risk clinical features (Table S1), as previously reported.[[2]] The prognostic impact of HBV infection in DLBCL remained controversial in the rituximab era,[[2]] largely due to the relatively small sample size of patients receiving rituximab-containing treatment. Besides, B-cell surface markers for B-cell development[5] were significantly higher in DLBCLs of current HBV infection than in non-HBV infection (Figure 1D). Here, among 1490 patients with R-CHOP treatment, we observed that the progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) of DLBCLs with current HBV infection were significantly worse than those of non-HBV infection (Figure 1A,B). Smaller volume/weight and higher output power/energy density are always the goals of electrochemistry energy devices. Here, a simple strategy is proposed to prepare an integrated gas diffusion electrode (GDE) with high conductivity through skin electroplating. The skin electroplating is the combination of magnetron sputtering and spatial confinement electroplating. The electroplated metal obtained by skin electroplating is uniformly, continuously, and tightly attached to the surface of carbon paper like a layer of skin. Uniform and continuous electroplating metal layer endows the integrated electrode excellent conductivity with the square resistance as low as 27 mΩ sq−1. In application, the self‐breathing fuel cell with 1 cm2 active area can harvest ultrahigh volume specific power density (20.9 kW L−1). Additionally, the weight of the fuel cell stack (23 W) with the integrated electrode is only 20 g, which is only 7% of the commercial stack with the same power. The mass specific power density reaches 1150 W kg−1, which is 15 times of the commercial stack. Outstandingly, the stack can charge 4 mobile phones at the same time. More importantly, the skin electroplating provides an effective strategy to improve the specific power density of other energy devices including Zn‐air batteries, Li‐air batteries, and so on. With the rapid development of portable and wearable electronics, safety concerns over flexible energy devices are inevitable. Therefore, it is important to develop energy supplies that are safe for use. In this work, a highly safe, durable, adaptable, and flexible air‐breathing direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) is successfully prepared by synthesizing and applying a new composite material with agar gel and wood sponge, that is, a gel/sponge composite. The gel/sponge composite has a high absorption rate, high cyclic performance, high methanol absorption capacity, high energy content, and high flexibility. Moreover, the gel/sponge composite with 1.5% agar gel retains approximately 90% of the methanol solution at a pressure of 29.4 kPa, and the areal energy density of the proposed DMFC approaches 13.7 mWh cm−2. Both the single‐cell and stack of DMFC with the new composite material successfully survive a series of destructive tests, including needle penetration, cutting, and compression. Therefore, it is successfully demonstrated that absorbent materials can greatly boost the safety, adaptability, flexibility, and energy density of air‐breathing DMFCs. 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have been widely investigated for possible application in field‐effect transistors and optoelectronic devices. However, due to the wide band gap of most TMDs, photoresponse to infrared wavelength is still a big challenge. Here, a lateral molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)‐on‐metal Schottky photodetector operating in internal photoemission mode for near‐infrared wavelength with high responsivity is reported. With moderate Schottky barrier height, a low dark current of 0.12 nA at −0.5 V and a remarkable rectification ratio of 103 at ±0.8 V are realized in the MoS2‐on‐Au Schottky photodetector. The maximum responsivity of 1.9 A W−1 at −1 V is achieved at 1310 nm due to the photoemission from the underlayering Au electrode, which absorbs most of the incident light through the transparent MoS2 layers, and the generated photocurrent gain in MoS2 layers. Furthermore, the MoS2 Schottky photodetectors are self‐powered. The high responsivity of 0.68 A W−1 and the excellent specific detectivity of 1.89 × 1012 Jones at 1310 nm are obtained under 0 V. The excellent performance demonstrates that internal photoemission mechanism can be well applied in 2D material Schottky photodetectors for infrared wavelengths. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

One‐carbon metabolism (OCM) plays a pivotal role in both the stability and integrity of DNA and is mainly regulated by B‐vitamins. This study aims to investigate the clinical relevance of B‐vitamins and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) on OCM‐related genes in diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (DLBCL). A total of 322 newly diagnosed DLBCL patients who received rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone‐based immunochemotherapy were recruited into this study. The serum levels of B‐vitamins (folate, vitamin B2 [riboflavin], vitamin B6 [pyridoxal 5′‐phosphate], and vitamin B12 [cobalamin]), as well as SNPs on methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase, methionine synthase (MTR), MTR reductase (MTRR) and cystathionine gamma‐lyase (CTH) genes, were assessed at diagnosis. The prognostic values were estimated using the Kaplan‐Meier method and Cox proportional hazards regression methods. Overall, the low serum concentration of folate and vitamin B2, as well as the presence of CTH1364 TT genotype, were significantly associated with poor treatment response in DLBCL. Multivariate analysis indicated that compared with patients in the medium and high serum folate tertiles, low serum folate tertile patients had both significantly inferior progression‐free survival (P =.033, Tertile 2 vs Tertile 1, and P =.031, Tertile 3 vs Tertile 1) and overall survival time (P <.001, Tertile 2 vs Tertile 1, and P =.001, Tertile 3 vs Tertile 1). Compared with patients in the medium and high serum vitamin B2 tertiles, low serum vitamin B2 tertile patients had both significantly inferior progression‐free survival (P =.006, Tertile 2 vs Tertile 1, and P =.001, Tertile 3 vs Tertile 1) and overall survival time (P =.030, Tertile 2 vs Tertile 1, and P =.255, Tertile 3 vs Tertile 1). SnO2-TiO2/fly ash cenospheres ( FAC) were prepared via hydrothermal method and used as an active photocatalyst in a photocatalytic system. Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and N2 adsorption-desorption measurements were used to determine the structure and optical property of SnO2-TiO2/ FAC. Phenol was selected as the model substance for photocatalytic reactions to evaluate catalytic ability. Results showed that the degradation efficiency of phenol by SnO2-TiO2/ FAC was 90.7% higher than that decomposed by TiO2/ FAC. Increased efficiency could be due to the enhanced synergistic effect of semiconductors and FAC could provide more adsorption sites for the pollutant in the photocatalytic reaction. Furthermore, SnO2-TiO2/ FAC composites exhibited excellent photocatalytic stability in four reuse cycles. Radical-trapping experiments further revealed the dominating functions of holes in the photocatalytic reaction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introducing nanoparticles in a polymer matrix to simultaneously enhance permittivity and electric breakdown strength is a challenge for the polymer‐based dielectric films to obtain improved energy‐storage density and efficiency. Herein, it is demonstrated that both of the aforementioned properties are enhanced by using an ultralow content of BaSrTiO3 nanofibers (BST NFs) with high aspect ratios (9–18) in the polyacrylonitrile (PAN) matrix. As the filler loading is 0.1–0.9 wt%, the permittivities of the composites are increased from 6.3 of the pure PAN to 6.93–7.92 at 1 kHz. The maximum electrical breakdown strength achieved at 0.3 wt% is 3865 kV cm−1, which is much higher than that of the pure PAN of ≈2987 kV cm−1. Significantly enhanced discharged energy density of 8.25 J cm−3 at a high charge–discharge efficiency of 83% is achieved. The electrical breakdown mechanism at ultralow filler content is investigated based on the simulation of space charges distribution. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
