This paper studies the distributed optimization problem (DOP) of discrete time‐varying linear multi‐agent systems (MASs), in which the global objective function is formed by a sum of local convex objective functions. Firstly, a DOP with discrete time‐varying MASs is considered, in which the time‐varying linear matrix satisfies a certain equality constraint. To solve this problem, a novel discrete‐time distributed optimization algorithm (DOA) with event‐triggered communication mechanism (ETCM) is proposed. Secondly, by constructing the error dynamical system and using a series of inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions for achieving consensus and obtaining the optimal solution are established. It is found that the considered MAS has generality and the proposed DOA has the advantage of reducing communication burden. Objective: Unilateral biportal endoscopic (UBE) surgery has recently been used as a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis and is associated with less perioperative blood loss. However, perioperative hidden blood loss (HBL) may be neglected during UBE. This study aimed to examine the volume of HBL and discuss the influential risk factors for HBL during unilateral biportal endoscopic surgery. Methods: From January 2022 to August 2022, 51 patients underwent percutaneous unilateral biportal endoscopic surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis at the Department of Spinal Surgery of the Affiliated Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Southwest Medical University and were enrolled in this study. The data included general indicators (age, sex and body mass index [BMI]), underlying disease (hypertension and diabetes), laboratory test results (prothrombin time [PT], activated partial thromboplastin time [APTT], fibrinogen [Fbg]), and preoperative and postoperative hematocrit and hemoglobin), related imaging parameters (severity of intervertebral disc [IVD] degeneration and soft tissue thickness of the interlaminar approach), number of operated vertebrae and operation time. Total blood loss (TBL) and HBL during surgical procedures were measured via the Gross formula. Influential factors were further analyzed by multivariate linear regression analysis and t‐tests. Results: The mean HBL was 257.89 ± 190.66 mL for single‐operation patients and 296.58 ± 269.75 mL for two‐operation patients. Patients with lower PT (p = 0.044), deeper tissue thickness (p = 0.047), and diabetes mellitus were determined to have more HBL during UBE. The operation time might also be an important factor (p = 0.047). However, sex (p = 0.265), age (p = 0.771/0.624), BMI (p = 0.655/0.664), APTT (p = 0.545/0.751), degree of degenerated IVD (p = 0.932/0.477), and hypertension (p = 0.356/0.896) were not related to HBL. Conclusion: This study determined the different influential factors of HBL during UBE. PT, tissue thickness, and diabetes mellitus are the independent risk factors that affect HBL incidence. Long PT may decrease the volume of HBL within a certain range. Tissue thickness and diabetes mellitus can lead to an increased volume of HBL. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Pyrotinib, an irreversible pan‐ErbB inhibitor, has been approved for treating HER2‐positive advanced breast cancer in China. We conducted a nationwide, prospective observational study to examine the real‐world data of pyrotinib‐based therapy in this population. Patients from 61 sites across China were included. Pyrotinib‐based regimens were prescribed at local physician's discretion. Demographics, treatment patterns, prognosis and safety were evaluated. The primary outcome was real‐world progression‐free survival (rwPFS). Of 1129 patients, pyrotinib‐based therapy was prescribed as first‐, second‐ and third‐ or later‐line treatment in 437 (38.7%), 476 (42.2%) and 216 (19.1%) patients, respectively. Median rwPFS (mrwPFS) was 14.3 (95% CI, 13.3‐15.2) months in the total population, with the longest mrwPFS of 17.8 (95% CI, 15.2‐24.9) months in the first‐line setting, followed by 14.4 (95% CI, 12.9‐15.3) months in the second‐line setting. Patients with third‐ or later‐line treatment also achieved a mrwPFS of 9.3 (95% CI, 8.4‐11.8) months. Patients with trastuzumab‐ or trastuzumab‐pertuzumab‐treated disease achieved a mrwPFS of 14.3 and 13.6 months, respectively. Dual HER2 blockade with pyrotinib plus trastuzumab showed a mrwPFS of 16.2 months in the total population, with data not mature in the first‐line setting. For patients with baseline brain metastases, the mrwPFS was 11.7 months. The most common adverse event was diarrhea (any grade, 73.5%; grade ≥ 3, 15.3%). In real world, pyrotinib‐based therapy shows promising effectiveness in the first‐, as well as second‐ and later‐line treatment, with acceptable tolerability. In the fabric manufacturing industry, fabric defect detection is a practical yet challenging task, due to the problem of defects with small sizes or unremarkable appearances distributed in fabric images with high resolution. Some deep‐learning‐based solutions try to tackle the aforementioned problem but with limited achievements. Herein, a brand new module called adaptively fused attention module (AFAM) is proposed to improve the detection performance by enabling the network to concentrate more on the small or unremarkable defects in terms of 1) enhancing the feature maps both spatial‐wise and channel‐wise, 2) enhancing the attention information flow between the channel‐attention feature map and the spatial‐attention feature map, and 3) enriching background information. Experiments on the MS‐COCO dataset show that AFAM reaches higher AP than other state‐of‐the‐art (SOTA) attention modules (e.g., squeeze‐and‐excitation network [SE], efficient channel attention [ECA], convolutional block attention module [CBAM]). Meanwhile, on the Smart Diagnosis of Cloth Flaw Dataset (CloF), the Cascade R‐CNN (Resnext101) + AFAM outperforms the SOTA in the official leaderboard of the CloF dataset. Speed‐wisely, the solution achieves a 12.19‐FPS on RTX 3090, thus making it practical to be applied in the industry of fabric defect detection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article considers the fixed‐time distributed optimization problem of multi‐agent systems with external disturbances, in which the global optimization objective is a convex combination of local objective functions. To solve this issue, a directed communication network is carefully designed, and an integral sliding mode control protocol is proposed based on the gradient of global objective function first. Moreover, two distributed optimal protocols are designed by using the gradient and the Hessian matrix of local objective function, respectively. By employing Lyapunov stability theory, graph theory, convex analysis, and inequality techniques, we prove that all proposed protocols can make agents achieve consensus and converge accurately to the optimal solution of the considered problem in some fixed‐time intervals. In this study, the dielectric properties of SrTiO3 ceramics prepared by plasma‐activated sintering (PAS) were investigated. One of the striking findings is that the material exhibits giant room temperature permittivity (k∼3.5 × 104) and low dielectric loss (∼0.05) at 1 kHz, with the permittivity exceeding that of the conventionally prepared SrTiO3（ST） ceramics (k∼300) by two orders of magnitude. The enhancement of the polarizability was caused by the high concentration of defect dipoles. In this paper, two dielectric relaxation modes of the PAS ceramics below 0°C have been mainly discussed. One dielectric relaxation mode showed higher activation energy than that of the dielectric peak in the same temperature range for the conventional SrTiO3‐based ceramics. This mode was sensitive to humidity, and the strength of this mode was associated with the oxygen vacancies concentration in the ceramics. The other mode exhibited abnormal slowing down of relaxation rate with increasing temperature, which is contrary to the typical dielectric relaxation behavior, and the anomaly persisted over a narrow temperature range. It has been previously shown that (never in mitosis gene A)‐related kinase 2 (NEK2) is upregulated in multiple myeloma (MM) and contributes to drug resistance. However, the mechanisms behind this upregulation remain poorly understood. In this study, it is found that amplification of NEK2 and hypermethylation of distal CpG islands in its promoter correlate strongly with increased NEK2 expression. Patients with NEK2 amplification have a poor rate of survival and often exhibit TP53 deletion, which is an independent prognostic factor in MM. This combination of TP53 knockout and NEK2 overexpression induces asymmetric mitosis, proliferation, drug resistance, and tumorigenic behaviors in MM in vitro and in vivo. In contrast, delivery of wild type p53 and suppression of NEK2 in TP53−/− MM cell lines inhibit tumor formation and enhance the effect of Bortezomib against MM. It is also discovered that inactivating p53 elevates NEK2 expression genetically by inducing NEK2 amplification, transcriptionally by increased activity of cell cycle‐related genes like E2F8 and epigenetically by upregulating DNA methyltransferases. Dual defects of TP53 and NEK2 may define patients with the poorest outcomes in MM with p53 inactivation, and NEK2 may serve as a novel therapeutic target in aggressive MM with p53 abnormalities. This paper is concerned with the exact controllability of linear mean‐field stochastic systems with time‐variant random coefficients. We prove that the exact controllability, the validity of the observability inequality for the dual equation, the unique solvability of a family of optimal control problems, the unique solvability of a family of mean‐field forward‐backward stochastic differential equations (MF‐FBSDEs), and the unique solvability of a family of norm optimal control problems are all equivalent. The previous studies had demonstrated the promising effectiveness and acceptable safety of pyrotinib in patients with HER2‐positive metastatic breast cancer. We aimed to investigate the real‐world data of pyrotinib in complex clinical practice and complement the findings of clinical trials. Two hundred and eighteen patients were included for effectiveness analysis. A total of 62.0% had received two or more lines of systematic therapy, and 95.4% had been exposed to prior anti‐HER2 therapy, with 95.4% receiving trastuzumab, 5.0% receiving pertuzumab, and 40.8% receiving lapatinib. The median progression‐free survival (PFS) was 9.3 months and the objective response rate (ORR) was 44.0%. Patients treated with pyrotinib‐based therapy as first, second, or later line had a median PFS of 15.0, 10.3, and 6.8 months, respectively. Patients treated with pyrotinib and trastuzumab received significant benefit in terms of median PFS compared with pyrotinib alone (10.7 (9.1–12.3) vs. 8.8 (8.1–9.5), p = 0.016). Patients pretreated with lapatinib had a median PFS of 6.9 months. The median PFS time was 7.0 months in patients with brain metastasis. Multivariate Cox regression analyses showed that lines of pyrotinib‐based therapy (1 vs. 2 vs. ≥3), prior treatment with lapatinib, and combination treatments with trastuzumab proved to be independent predictors of PFS. Two hundred and forty‐eight patients were included in the safety analysis, and the results showed that the toxicity of pyrotinib was tolerable, with the most common grade 3/4 adverse event being diarrhea (19.8%). Pyrotinib‐based therapy demonstrated promising efficacy and tolerable toxicity in first‐, second‐, and later‐line treatments and in lapatinib‐treated patients. The combination of pyrotinib and trastuzumab showed advantages in PFS, even for patients resisting trastuzumab. This article considers the consensus of multi‐agent systems (MASs) with external disturbances by using sliding mode control. First, by establishing a novel sliding mode surface and designing a sliding mode control protocol with constant gains, the consensus of MASs with unknown bounded disturbances is studied. Second, based on the barrier function, a new type of adaptive sliding mode switching protocol is proposed, in which the control gains can be chosen randomly and the upper bound of the disturbance does not need to be known in a prior. By using this protocol, the consensus error can converge to any given region of zero in finite time. Moreover, the leaderless consensus and leader‐following tracking problem of MASs with general dynamics and external disturbances are also investigated via extending the proposed adaptive sliding mode protocol. Numerous studies have revealed that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) with oncogene properties play vital roles in gastric cancer (GC). In this study, we aimed to elucidate the function of TMEM92‐AS1 in GC progression and to investigate its underlying mechanisms. TMEM92‐AS1 was filtered from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. GC tissues and adjacent normal tissues were used to detect the expression level of TMEM92‐AS1. MTT, colony‐formation assays, Edu, cell cycle, apoptosis and subcutaneous tumour formation assays were used to detect the role of TMEM92‐AS1 in cell function. RNA transcriptome sequencing was used to seek downstream target genes. Reverse transcription (RT)‐qPCR, western blot, RNA and chromatin immunoprecipitation assays were used to investigate the mechanisms involved. TMEM92‐AS1 was significantly overexpressed in GC tissues and correlated with poor overall survival and disease‐free survival. Furthermore, TMEM92‐AS1 promoted GC cell proliferation and migration in vitro and tumorigenic ability in vivo. RNA transcriptome sequence analysis revealed a potential downstream target gene, C‐C motif chemokine ligand 5 (CCL5), and a mechanistic study found that TMEM92‐AS1 regulated CCL5 by binding to the transcription factor Y‐box binding protein 1(YBX1), which has oncogene properties. In addition, TMEM92‐AS1 was found to be associated with peripheral blood leukocyte counts, especially neutrophils. Further investigation found that TMEM92‐AS1 may affect leukocytes via regulation of the expression of granulocyte colony‐stimulating factor in GC tissues. Our data provide an in‐depth insight into the mechanism behind the lncRNA TMEM92‐AS1, how it promotes GC progression and the possible mechanism in affecting peripheral leukocyte counts. Without the response variation constraint, the main‐lobe responses of wideband beamforming usually vary with the frequencies of interest, and the beam pointing may deviate from the incident angle of the desired signal. If the interference‐plus‐noise covariance matrix (INCM) is directly replaced by the sample covariance matrix, the desired signal in the sample data may result in self‐null problem, which can lead to the degradation of the performance of wideband beamformers. Through frequency division, a novel wideband adaptive beamforming is proposed by reconstructing the INCM and solving the convex optimisation problem. Using fast Fourier transform (FFT), the time‐domain samples are transformed into the frequency field, and the covariance matrix of each subband can be obtained from the frequency‐domain data. In the spatial‐frequency domain, the INCM and signal‐plus‐noise covariance matrix can be respectively reconstructed by integrating the stacked steering vector and the Capon spatial spectrum over the corresponding angular region. Then, we establish the optimisation criteria, that is, minimising the output interference‐plus‐noise power, minimising the main‐lobe spatial response variation, and constraining the response deviation of the desired signal. A novel convex optimisation model can be established, and then the weight coefficients for time‐domain wideband beamforming can be obtained by solving the optimisation problem. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed beamformer can provide better performance compared with other tested beamformers and maintain good robustness in various applications. Defect chemistry of Sr site nonstoichiometry in SrxTi0.985(Nb2/3Zn1/3)0.015O3 ceramics and the resulting effects on the structure and dielectric behavior are systematically investigated by experiment and density functional theory (DFT) methods. The results indicate that, appropriate Sr deficiency benefits the dielectric properties and grain growth due to the creation of Sr vacancy. While Sr excess deteriorates the dielectric properties and inhibits the grain growth by forming a Ruddlesden‐Popper structure. In Sr‐deficient sample, more point defects arise and aggregate into defect clusters, resulting in great changes in local structures and the enhancement of dielectric properties. The Sr vacancy benefits the generation of oxygen vacancy, thus facilitating the localization of electrons and the decrease in dielectric loss. Besides, the electronic polarization and structural polarization are also improved by Sr vacancy and the resultant oxygen vacancy, leading to the further enhanced dielectric properties. This study investigated the limited‐budget finite‐time average consensus problem of multi‐agent systems. Different from the existing results about the guaranteed‐cost asymptotical consensus, all agents can achieve the average consensus within a finite time and the limited budget can be given previously. Firstly, a novel consensus protocol is proposed with non‐linear cost indexes to trade off the control energy consumption against the consensus regulation performance for the limited budget within a finite time. Then, sufficient conditions for limited‐budget finite‐time average consensus design and analysis are respectively given, where the limited budget is utilised to determine the value range of the control gain, and the consensus value obtained by all agents is the average of initial states. Moreover, for the case without giving the limited budget, guaranteed‐cost finite‐time average consensus design and analysis criteria are presented, respectively, in which an upper bound of the cost index is determined. Summary: In this paper, the problem of pinning synchronization for delayed complex directed networks via generalized intermittent adaptive control strategy is considered. First, a dynamical mode of delayed network is investigated. Second, a generalized intermittent adaptive control strategy which unified the traditional periodic intermittent control and the aperiodic case is introduced. Additionally, by constructing a piecewise Lyapunov auxiliary function and making use of piecewise analysis technique, some effective and novel criteria to ensure the global synchronization of delayed complex networks based on the designed control protocols are obtained. Isobutanol serves as an ideal gasoline additive owing to its good compatibility with current engine technology, high energy density, and high octane number. Herein, an efficient and selective Mn‐catalyzed upgrading of ethanol with methanol into isobutanol is reported. This is the first example of deoxygenative coupling of lower alcohols to isobutanol by using a homogeneous non‐noble‐metal catalyst. This transformation proceeded at very low catalyst loading with a high turnover number (9233) and up to 96 % isobutanol selectivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: (Nb+Al) co‐doped SrTiO3 ceramics with a nominal composition of Sr(Nb0.5Al0.5)xTi1‐xO3 (x = 0, 0.02, 0.04, and 0.06) were fabricated using the conventional solid‐state reaction method; giant permittivity (10500) and low dielectric loss (0.03) were obtained at x = 0.06. Dielectric and impedance spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy, were employed to study why the dielectric property improved. The results indicate that the giant dielectric response occurs because of the combined effects of the off‐center Ti3+ reorientation and conduction of electrons with the polar ordering structure Ti3+/Ti4+. In contrast, the low dielectric loss can be attributed to electron localization that occurs because of the defect dipole Ti 4 + · e − V o · · − Ti 4 + · e. The leader‐following guaranteed‐performance consensus problems for second‐order multi‐agent systems with and without communication time delays are investigated, where a guaranteed performance function is proposed to consider the consensus regulation performance. For the case without the time delay, the coupling gain and pinning strength are carefully considered. When the time delays exist in the communication, we find that the inequality (Seuret and Gouaisbaut) cannot be used to investigate the consensus problems proposed in the study since the obtained conditions cannot be satisfied. Therefore, Jensen's inequality and Newton–Leibniz formula, which can solve this issue well, are introduced. By using the state space decomposition approach, linear matrix inequality and Lyapunov stability theory, some sufficient conditions are derived for achieving the guaranteed performance consensus. This paper discusses the consensus problem of second-order multiagent systems with nonlinear dynamics. A directed spanning tree--based adaptive control protocol is developed, which overcomes the drawback that the spectrum of the Laplacian matrix must be known a priori. A scheme for reordering the nodes is proposed. Applying the developed method and the Lyapunov stability theory, some distributed adaptive laws are designed in the directed network. It is found that the consensus can be achieved by randomly choosing a directed spanning tree and using the developed distributed adaptive law. In this paper, we concern the exponential synchronization problem for hybrid-coupled delayed dynamical networks via aperiodically intermittent control. Different from previous works, the delayed coupling term considered here contains the transmission delay and self-feedback delay, and the intermittent control can be aperiodic. By utilizing a different technique compared with some previous results, several useful criteria are derived analytically to realise exponential synchronization for a class of coupled complex network. As a special case, some sufficient conditions ensuring the exponential synchronization for a class of coupled neural network are obtained. An efficient method for the highly regio- and stereoselective synthesis of 1,2,3-trisubstituted indanes from diarylmethanols and allylamides through iron(III) chloride hexahydrate-catalyzed intermolecular [3+2] cycloaddition reaction is reported. A range of 1,2,3-trisubstituted indanes were prepared in good to excellent yields with excellent stereoselectivities for various combinations of diarylmethanols and allylamides. The choice of solvent is critical to the catalysis. Mechanistic studies indicated that the generation of a benzylic cation is involved in this catalytic process, and the reaction proceeds via the initial formation of diarylmethyl ethers. The iridium-catalyzed highly regioselective transfer hydrogenation of a variety of 2-substituted and 2,9-disubstituted 1,10-phenanthrolines under mild conditions with formic acid as the hydrogen source is described. In the presence of a catalytic amount of the iridium complex [Cp*IrCl2]2, the transfer hydrogenation proceeded smoothly in 1,4-dioxane under ligand-free conditions, exclusively leading to a range of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,10-phenanthroline products in high yields. The catalyst generated in situ from [Cp*IrCl2]2 and ( R, R)-(CF3)2C6H3SO2-dpen [ N-(2-amino-1,2-diphenylethyl)-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzenesulfonamide] could efficiently catalyze the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of these 1,10-phenanthrolines in isopropyl alcohol ( i-PrOH) to afford chiral 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,10-phenanthrolines in high yields with up to >99% ee. Output swarm stability and stabilization problems for high-order linear swarm systems with directed interaction topologies are investigated. First, sufficient conditions for output swarm stability are presented, and an approach is proposed to determine the absolute output motion, where the influences of initial states of agents and swarm stabilizing protocols are given. Moreover, it is shown that swarm systems with the same initial states but different balanced interaction topologies have the same absolute output motion. Then, sufficient conditions for output swarm stabilization, which are independent of the number of agents, are presented. The marine natural product (+)-discodermolide was first isolated in 1990 and, to this day, remains a compelling synthesis target. Not only does the compound possess fascinating biological activity, but it also presents an opportunity to test current methods for chemical synthesis and provides an inspiration for new reaction development. A new synthesis of discodermolide employs a previously undisclosed stereoselective catalytic diene hydroboration and also establishes a strategy for the alkylation of chiral enolates. Furthermore, this synthesis of discodermolide provides the first examples of the asymmetric 1,4-diboration of dienes and borylative diene-aldehyde couplings in complex-molecule synthesis. An existence and uniqueness result for one kind of forward-backward stochastic differential equations with double dimensions was obtained under some monotonicity conditions. Then this result was applied to the linear-quadratic stochastic optimal control and nonzero-sum differential game of forward-backward stochastic system. The explicit forms of the optimal control and the Nash equilibrium point are obtained respectively. We note that our method is effective in studying the uniqueness of Nash equilibrium point. Surface plasmon resonance in plasmonic nanostructures has become a powerful analytical tool in ultrasensitive label‐free biomolecule sensing. However, the fabrication of plasmonic nanostructure sensors relies on lithography‐based top‐down nanofabrication approaches, which have inherent shortcomings, such as high manufacturing cost, time‐consuming fabrication, and a small fabrication footprint. In particular, the small footprint of fabricated plasmonic nanostructures has significantly restrained the study of their angle‐dependent sensitivity. Here, a centimeter‐scale, high sensitivity sensing platform with low cost and high yield is experimentally demonstrated, fabricated through a transfer nanoprinting approach based on an ultrathin anodic aluminum oxide membrane. Two angle‐dependent resonant modes from the plasmonic nanodisk structure are observed at nonzero incidence angles. The dependence of the bulk sensitivity and surface sensitivity on the incidence angle under these two modes is systematically investigated. By functionalizing the plasmonic nanostructure, monitoring of binding of protein at dilute concentration is performed in real time at different incidence angles. The specific label‐free lowest detection limit is found to be 1.8 nanomolar for the longer wavelength resonant mode at a 10° incidence angle. This plasmonic nanostructure sensing platform should hold promise in the development of low cost and high throughput biosensing chips. A centimeter‐scale, high sensitivity sensing platform with low cost and high yield fabricated through a transfer nanoprinting approach based on an ultrathin anodic aluminum oxide membrane is demonstrated. The sensing properties of this platform are investigated systematically at various incidence angles.
