This deliverable sets out the current status of the EOSC-hub service portfolios, both the internal one (to be contributed to EOSC-Core) and the external, researcher facing one (Which will form part of EOSC-Exchange). To do this it highlights the changes in the EOSC landscape in the last year, as the community moves toward a more cohesive and coordinated structure, and shows the contributions of EOSC-hub to the Core, Exchange and Governance of EOSC. In this way it provides a solid overview of what EOSC-hub will leave behind at its conclusion, which can be adopted or adapted to support the next phase of EOSC construction, in the proposed EOSC-Future project.

This document provides a final report on the key exploitable results, including aspects such as the definition, value proposition, IP management, exploitation path and dissemination activities and adoption.

This session aimedto showcase the ecosystem of thematic marketplaces for the EOSC and their role as aggregators.EOSChubkickstarted the session by painting the landscape of science discovery marketplaces.All 5 EOSC cluster projects highlighted how each of their value propositions relate to the EOSC portal based on key lines of activities that cluster projectsfor aggregation. The EOSC-hub project operates many of the core elements of the European Open Science Cloud, and acts as the main facilitator of onboarding new providers in EOSC through the EOSC Portal. This handbook provides practical information to providers about their responsibilities after they registered their services in the EOSC Portal. The document provides guidance on how to handle user access requests in the EOSC Marketplace, how to respond to EOSC user helpdesk tickets, how to react to and stay informed about security incidents, how to collect user feedback, where to raise issues about EOSC elements to other stakeholders, how to ensure customer-centric service delivery, and how to keep service profiles up-to-date in EOSC. The handbook aims to support service providers operating professionally in the EOSC context.

The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) will “enable a trusted, virtual, federated environment in Europe to store, share and reuse digital outputs from research (including publications, data, metadata and software) across borders and scientific disciplines”1. Today, at the end of 2020, many building blocks are in place and on-going EOSC projects endeavour to enrich the EOSC ecosystem. To ensure strong engagement by research communities, we believe that this is the time to re-orient the EOSC activities towards higher relevance for these communities. The Science Clusters ENVRI-FAIR , EOSC-LIFE , ESCAPE , PaNOSC , SSHOC bring together 72 world-class research infrastructures from the ESFRI roadmap and beyond to work on FAIR data management and connecting their user communities to the EOSC. The European e-infrastructures EGI , EUDAT , GÉANT , and OpenAIRE provide inclusive services across Europe and beyond to the benefit of science.

This deliverable provides an overview of the operational processes, policies and procedures applicable to the services of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Portfolios. This is achieved by providing a description of the proposed EOSC hub Service Management System including background of its development and plans for future activities.&nbsp

This report presents the first version of the EOSC-Hub service roadmap, the service portfolio, and the service catalog. The document also describes the service portfolio management process established within the project.

With this paper,EGI proposes the Open Science Commons as a new approach to digital research, tackling policy challenges and embracing open science as a new paradigm for knowledge creation and collaboration. EGI invites organisations from the research landscape to join it in this journey to develop these concepts, and through them to advance the implementation of the European Research Area.

This document presents a way to categorise different arrangements of federations in the e-Infrastructure domain and looks at the business models that these arrangements imply. This includes developing some simple tools to assist in this process.
