Let CC be a linear code of length nn and dimension kk over the finite field Fqm{{\mathbb{F}}}_{{q}^{m}}. The trace code Tr(C){\rm{Tr}}\left(C) is a linear code of the same length nn over the subfield Fq{{\mathbb{F}}}_{q}. The obvious upper bound for the dimension of the trace code over Fq{{\mathbb{F}}}_{q} is mkmk. If equality holds, then we say that CC has maximum trace dimension. The problem of finding the true dimension of trace codes and their duals is relevant for the size of the public key of various code-based cryptographic protocols. Let Ca{C}_{{\boldsymbol{a}}} denote the code obtained from CC and a multiplier vector a∈(Fqm)n{\boldsymbol{a}}\in {\left({{\mathbb{F}}}_{{q}^{m}})}^{n}. In this study, we give a lower bound for the probability that a random multiplier vector produces a code Ca{C}_{{\boldsymbol{a}}} of maximum trace dimension. We give an interpretation of the bound for the class of algebraic geometry codes in terms of the degree of the defining divisor. The bound explains the experimental fact that random alternant codes have minimal dimension. Our bound holds whenever n≥m(k+h)n\ge m\left(k+h), where h≥0h\ge 0 is the Singleton defect of CC. For the extremal case n=m(h+k)n=m\left(h+k), numerical experiments reveal a closed connection between the probability of having maximum trace dimension and the probability that a random matrix has full rank.

In the last ten years, pedagogy has been evolving rapidly in terms of teaching approaches. This study is an attempt to analyze the recently developed novel pedagogy models. STEM integration and classroom engagement are primary approaches in pedagogy in recent times. The article aims to provide educators with some analytical tools to complement the modernization of STEM pedagogy. Integration flow and skill-set balancing, along with matrix analysis, are projected to be efficient solutions for evolved pedagogy. A novel PESTLE model is framed for tackling the changes in pedagogies during pandemics and emergencies. Inquiry-based learning can foster and accelerate the cause of integrating subjects in STEM pedagogy. In addition, the article discusses the post-pandemic scenario of pedagogy in the education system as a whole.

We set up a hydrodynamic description of the non-equilibrium dynamics of sine-Gordon quantum field theory for generic coupling. It is built upon an explicit form of the Bethe Ansatz description of general thermodynamic states, with the structure of the resulting coupled integral equations encoded in terms of graphical diagrams. The resulting framework is applied to derive results for the Drude weights of charge and energy. Quantities associated with the charge universally have fractal dependence on the coupling, which is notably absent from those associated with energy, a feature explained by the different roles played by reflective scattering in transporting these quantities. We then present far-from-equilibrium results, including explicit time evolution starting from bipartite initial states and dynamical correlation functions. Our framework can be applied to explore numerous other aspects of non-equilibrium dynamics, which opens the way to a wide array of theoretical studies and potential novel experimental predictions.

The use of big data in urban mobility research is growing dynamically. However, relatively few studies have been devoted to systematically review the results in this field. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to explore the general characteristics of the application of the big data approach in urban mobility research. For this purpose, the systematic literature review method was applied and the scientific Scopus database was accessed to collect publications relevant to the predefined criteria. Then the papers included in the sample were analysed using quantitative and qualitative techniques, focusing on the trends emerging from the years of publications in the database, the distribution of the papers by journal, the geographical distribution of case-study areas, the methods and data types employed, and their policy implications. This literature review demonstrates the diversity of big datadriven urban mobility research and provides lessons for geography and urban policy in Hungary.

In this paper we study the isotopism classes of two-step nilpotent algebras. We show that every nilpotent Leibniz algebra g with dim [ g , g ] = 1 is isotopic to the Heisenberg Lie algebra or to the Heisenberg algebra l 2 n + 1 J 1 , where J1 is the n × n Jordan block of eigenvalue 1. We also prove that two such algebras are isotopic if and only if the Lie racks integrating them are isotopic. This gives the classification of Lie racks whose tangent space at the unit element is a nilpotent Leibniz algebra with one-dimensional commutator ideal. The focus of our research is the examination of Hermitian curves over finite fields, specifically concentrating on places of degree three and their role in constructing Hermitian codes. We begin by studying the structure of the Riemann–Roch space associated with these degree-three places, aiming to determine essential characteristics such as the basis. The investigation then turns to Hermitian codes, where we analyze both functional and differential codes of degree-three places, focusing on their parameters and automorphisms. In addition, we explore the study of subfield subcodes and trace codes, determining their structure by giving lower bounds for their dimensions. This presents a complex problem in coding theory. Based on numerical experiments, we formulate a conjecture for the dimension of some subfield subcodes of Hermitian codes. Our comprehensive exploration seeks to deepen the understanding of Hermitian codes and their associated subfield subcodes related to degree-three places, thus contributing to the advancement of algebraic coding theory and code-based cryptography. Magyarország Kormánya kiadta Magyarország Nemzeti Biztonsági Stratégiájáról szóló 1163/2020. (IV. 21.) Korm. határozatát, amelyben átfogó képet kapunk Magyarország jelenlegi biztonsági helyzetéről és a nemzet által elérni kívánt célokról, irányelvekről, valamint az azok megvalósításához szükséges eszközökről, feladatokról. Számos, a Nemzeti Biztonsági Stratégiában foglalt célkitűzés megvalósítását képes elősegíteni egy magyar műholdrendszeren alapuló űrképesség kialakítása. Jelen tanulmányban ezt az állítást kívánjuk bizonyítani, továbbá egy átfogó kép bemutatására törekszünk egy lehetséges magyar űrképesség megvalósításának előnyeiről, igényjogosultságáról, tulajdonságairól és a megvalósításához szükséges általános feladatokról.

A városi terek fogyasztásközpontú átalakítása, a folyamat szereplői és viszonyrendszereik a társadalmi-térbeli egyenlőtlenségek kritikai megközelítésű kutatásának fontos kérdéskörévé vált az utóbbi két évtizedben. A fogyasztás dinamikus társadalmi viszonyrendszerként történő értelmezéséből kiindulva – amellyel egyszerre ragadható meg a fennálló társadalmi struktúrák működése, kulturális logikája, és az egyén (mint fogyasztó) ezekre adott válasza – az állam piaci szabályozó-ellenőrző szerepét, pontosabban ennek és társadalmi-térbeli egyenlőtlenségeket „termelő” mechanizmusait mutatjuk be a magyarországi (posztszocialista) átmenet és „perifériás” kapitalizmus kontextusában. Koncepciónkban az állam a piaci szereplők közötti viszonyok alakítója szabályozók és intézményi gyakorlatok révén, amelyek lenyomatai az állam működését formáló társadalmi/hatalmi-térbeli viszonyoknak. Az állam fogyasztáshoz kapcsolódó, egyenlőtlenségeket „termelő” szerepe több térbeli léptékben és dimenzióban is megragadható, tanulmányunkban azonban a városi terekben zajló folyamatokra koncentrálunk. Elemzésünk empirikus része győri esettanulmányra épül, amelynek során kvalitatív módszerekkel próbáltuk feltárni a helyi állam és a többi szereplő viszonyát. A tanulmányban a mellett érvelünk, hogy (i) a fogyasztás szervezeti és térbeli kereteit alakító szabályozás alapvetően a városi gazdaságok/terek fogyasztásközpontú átalakítása irányába hatott, az ebben résztvevők körét a piaci szelekcióra „bízva”; ii) az előbbi folyamatok eredményként kialakult koniktusok egyrészt lassan és inkonzisztens módon formálódó állami szabályozás, és a mögötte húzódó, tőke/állam kapcsolatok metszetében, másrészt a központi állam/lokális állam változó viszonyrendszerében értelmezhetők; (iii) a városi terek fogyasztásközpontú átrendeződésében fölfedezhető a (perifériás kapitalizmusra jellemző) függőségi viszonyok bonyolult rendszere, ami a „sikeresnek” tekintett városok helyi szereplőinek mozgásterét is behatárolja.

The network science, based on network theory is a fairly new and innovative field and its approaches are groundbreaking in many aspects. The social scientific applications of the network analysis methods and concepts have been built on the results of network science. Thus, the social network analysis of religious networks is grounded on the methodological principles and assumptions of network analysis, especially social network analysis as it has developed in recent years. In this study the author gives a review of the application of social network theory and social network analysis in the sociology of religion in Central and Eastern Europe. This approach of sociological study of religious faith and religious groups is usually based on empirical research and interpretation of the research results. The sociology of religion has a broader perspective in studying religious life, but the religious social networks usually mirror other characteristics of the studied religious entities and phenomena to make it an interesting subject of research.

A Vidékfejlesztési Minisztérium tanyapályázatának keretében, 2013-ban nagy léptékű külterületi felmérés elkészítésére nyílt lehetőség, melynek során csaknem teljes adatfelvételt készíthettünk Békés megye külterületi népességéről és épületeiről. Bár az adatlapok tematikája rögzített volt, a pótlólagos kérdések, illetve a tanyasi interjúk alapján olyan – térben rendezett – információtömeghez jutottunk, melyre még nem volt példa a megye történetében. A jelen tanulmány célja az eredmények elsődleges bemutatása, az eltérő térségi vagy települési fejlődési pályák felvillantása, illetve a megye tanyatípusainak leírása egy generációval a rendszerváltást követően. A Békés megyei tanyavilágban 1990 után nem indult el külterületi kitelepülési hullám, de nem beszélhetünk a tanyafelszámolódás folytatódásáról sem a szocialista periódust követően. A túlélés záloga már csak részben az agrárium, egyre erősebb a hétvégi, rekreációs célú külterületi építkezés, tanyamegújítás. Nem bizonyult valósnak az a „városi legenda” sem, hogy a tanyákon kizárólag az idősek és a szociálisan leszakadó rétegek „torlódtak fel”, mint ahogy nem létezik összetartó, egymást segítő tanyasi közösség sem. Valójában a tanyahálózat erőteljes térbeli differenciálódása zajlik, egy-egy település eltérő határrészei között is. A tanyák számának csökkenése a nem túl távoli jövőben aligha elkerülhető, erre utal a romos és láthatóan nem lakott, nem használt épületek magas száma. Ez a folyamat azonban szintén differenciáltan fog végbemenni, amelyben a választóvonal az alapvető infrastrukturális elemek megléte vagy hiánya lesz.

Tanulmányunkban a szakmai diskurzusokban hátrányos helyzetűként megjelenített rurális térségekre fókuszálunk, azok marginalizációs folyamataira helyezve a hangsúlyt. Kiindulópontunk az, hogy a marginalitáskoncepció releváns értelmezési keret a „leszakadó” vidéki térségek társadalmi problémáinak megértéséhez. Az ilyen térségekben élő-működő, marginalizált helyzetű társadalmi csoportok – helyi lakosok és gazdasági szereplők – napi gyakorlatain keresztül vizsgáljuk azokat a mechanizmusokat, amelyekkel újratermelődnek a gazdasági-társadalmi hátrányok, a függőségek és a kirekesztettség. Írásunkban amellett érvelünk, hogy egyrészt a társadalmi marginalizálódás és a térbeli hátrányok halmozódása nem választhatók el egymástól; a vidéki terek marginalizálódása az ott élő-működő egyének, csoportok marginalizálódását is eredményezi, tovább rontva a térség helyzetét; másrészt hogy a vidéki terekben élő, marginalizált helyzetű társadalmi csoportok maguk is arra kényszerülnek, hogy napi gyakorlataikkal fenntartsák/újratermeljék saját (marginalizált) helyzetüket a fennálló társadalmi-térbeli struktúrák keretei között. Következtetéseinket négy magyarországi – a társadalmi és a térbeli marginalizáció számos összetevőjét hordozó – terepen végzett empirikus vizsgálatra alapozzuk.
