application/pdf, 論文(Article), A total of ７０ nursing students took part in a voluntary postgraduate clinical nursing program at a local university. The participants received training in venous blood sampling, intravenous drip preparation, infusion pump operation, temporary urethral catheterization and oronasal suction. An anonymous questionnaire completed by students after the training showed that participants were generally satisfied with the tasks they performed. In addition, the training provided them with an opportunity to reaffirm areas of insufficient skills and knowledge. The results from this program are very similar to the research done a year earlier and therefore may indicate that the research is still highly relevant., 昨年に引き続き２度目となる、卒業直前の看護学生４年生を対象に、卒業後の臨床での看護実践に備え、就職後すぐに必要とする看護技術の自主的なトレーニングを実施した。参加学生は７０名で、①静脈血採血、②点滴準備・輸液ポンプの操作、③一時的導尿、④口鼻腔内吸引を実施した。トレーニング終了後、参加学生を対象に無記名によるアンケート調査を実施。その結果、体験技術を概ね実施できたと評価し、また、自身の技術や知識の不十分さを再確認する機会となり、そのことが学生自身の今後の課題認識へつながっていたことが確認され、これは、昨年度の結果とほぼ同様であった。このことから、昨年同様、本取り組みが有効であったことが示唆された。

Cancer patients require not only medical treatment but also palliative care for cancer from the early stage both in hospital wards and at own home. Since the foundation of our university, the education for palliative care has been carried out, however, only limited number of students consider of palliative care in their laboratory course. This report discusses the education for future palliative care, based on the role of nurses in Citrus Valley Hospital., わが国では、がん患者の増加に伴い、より質の高いがん医療・がん看護が求められている。がんに罹患している患者に対しては、がんの治療のみならず、緩和ケアががんの治療初期段階から行われ、一般病棟や在宅においても緩和ケアは必要であるとされている。本学では開学当初より緩和ケアに関しての教育を行っている。しかし、学生は緩和ケアが重要な看護であることを知っていても、実習において、緩和ケアを看護計画に挙げてケアを実践する学生は少ない。本報告はCitrus Valley Hospiceにおける看護師の役割から今後の緩和ケア教育のあり方について考察したものである。

application/pdf, 論文(Article), The objective of this study is to ascertain the effects of PBL tutorial education program with respect to the relation between heuristic learning ability and communication skill (social skill). The research subjects are university nursing students, 88 freshmen and 87 sophomores. These subjects answered a questionnaire, comprised of 30 items from studyevaluation scales developed by MG. Laduceur, et al., and 18 items from social skill measures KiSS-18 developed by Kikuchi. The result was that, among the three sub-scales of the studyevaluation scales, group-study skill was the highest for both the freshmen and the sophomores. With respect to the relation between study-evaluation scales and social skill, it was revealed that students with higher communication skills tended to have higher heuristic study ability. The results suggested, therefore, that acquisition of communication skills contributed to the development of heuristic study ability., 本研究はPBLを用いたテュートリアル教育における教育効果について、主体的学習能力と対人関係技能（社会的スキル）との関連から明らかにすることを目的とする。看護大学1年生88名と2年生87名を対象とし、MG．Laduceurら 1）の開発による学習評価スケール（30項目）と菊池 2）による社会的スキル尺度KiSS-18（18項目）を質問紙により調査した。その結果、学習評価スケールにおける3つのサブスケールのうち『グループ学習技術』が両学年ともに最も高かった。また、学習評価スケールと社会的スキルとの関連では、社会的スキルの高い学生ほど、主体的学習能力が高い傾向にあることがわかった。主体的な学習能力を身につけていくことにおいて、対人関係技能の習得も関与していることが示唆された。

1. We investigated the inhibitory effects of a non-acylguanidine Na(+)-H(+) exchange (NHE) inhibitor, T-162559 ((5E,7S)-[7-(5-fluoro-2-methylphenyl)-4-methyl-7,8-dihydro-5(6H)-quinolinylideneamino] guanidine dimethanesulphonate), on NHE-1, and its cardioprotective effect against ischaemia and reperfusion injury in rats and rabbits. 2. T-162559 inhibited human platelet NHE-1 in a concentration-dependent manner, with an IC(50) value of 13+/-3 nmol l(-1), making it 16 and three times more potent than cariporide IC(50): 209+/-75 nmol l(-1), P0.01) and eniporide (IC(50): 40+/-11 nmol l(-1), P=0.066), respectively. T-162559 also inhibited rat NHE-1 with an IC(50) value of 14+/-2 nmol l(-1), which was five and three times lower than that of cariporide (IC(50): 75+/-7 nmol l(-1), P0.01) and eniporide (IC(50): 44+/-2 nmol l(-1), P0.01), respectively. 3. T-162559 inhibited, in a concentration-dependent manner, the reduction in cardiac contractility, progression of cardiac contracture, and increase in lactate dehydrogenase release after global ischaemia and reperfusion in perfused rat hearts. The inhibitory effects of T-162559 were observed at a lower concentration range (10 - 100 nmol l(-1)) than with cariporide and eniporide. T-162559 did not alter basal cardiac contractility or coronary flow after reperfusion, suggesting that it exerts direct cardioprotective effects on the heart. 4. Intravenous administration of T-162559 (0.03 and 0.1 mg kg(-1)) significantly inhibited the progression of myocardial infarction induced by left coronary artery occlusion and reperfusion in rabbits; the infarct size normalized by area at risk was 74+/-6% in the vehicle group, and 47+/-5% and 51+/-7% in the T-162559-0.03 mg kg(-1) and T-162559-0.1 mg kg(-1) groups (both P0.05), respectively. 5. These results indicate that the new structural NHE-1 inhibitor T-162559 is more potent than cariporide and eniporide and possesses a cardioprotective effect against ischaemia and reperfusion injury in rat and rabbit models.
