La presente propuesta de investigación formativa en el contexto de la didáctica de las ciencias naturales, matemáticas y tecnología, tiene el objetivo de convertirse en una estrategia didáctica que desarrollará las capacidades científicas y entrará en tensión con las competencias exigidas por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN) para la presentación de la prueba saber 11, esta misma profundizará en la búsqueda de respuestas frente al desinterés evidente por el estudio de las ciencias en estudiantes cursando ciclo V de instituciones educativas distritales. Para ello realizaremos una prueba piloto con estudiantes del ciclo V del colegio Japón IED, más específicamente con la participación de aquellos alumnos que cuenten con capacidades y aptitudes científicas para conformar y ser parte del semillero “EduQVersa Junior” del mismo colegio. Lo anterior con el fin de obtener resultados cualitativos y cuantitativos para posteriormente organizar una feria científica, ésta misma pretenderá potencializar el interés y asombro en el estudio de las ciencias por medio de proyectos basados con la metodología STEAM, para ulteriormente ser expuesto el día del campo científico, el Workshop, entre otros eventos de difusión de índole local, nacional e internacional. Con los anteriores objetivos se espera fomentar procesos investigativos iniciales en el campo de las ciencias y buscarán incentivar en general en los estudiantes de ciclo V un mayor interés y continuidad en la formación de su educación superior en el estudio de esta área, siendo una apuesta de focalización que se entrecruza con el componente académico y la consolidación del proyecto de v

In this work, the performance of copper(II) hexacyanoferrate(III) (CuHCF) as a cathode material for lithium-ion batteries was studied. The compound was synthesized by a precipitation reaction in aqueous solution in a closed system. The morphology and structure show nanoparticles with sizes between 40 and 70 nm with a high agglomeration and a crystalline phase with a cubic structure, respectively. The material exhibited a stable performance with a working potential of around 3.6 V vs Li+/Li and a decrease in the charge transfer resistance due to increased ionic conductivity. The gravimetric capacity obtained is near 60 mAh g−1 during 300 cycles at a rate of C/20, close to the practical capacity. Considering its electrochemical performance, CuHCF could be a promising cathode material for lithium-ion batteries.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic demyelinating disease of the central nervous system that provokes motor, cognitive and neuropsychiatric symptoms. Cognitive symptoms are a core feature of the disease, affecting everyday life functioning in 40 to 70% of patients. Working Memory impairment is one of the most common cognitive deficits, crucially affecting goal-directed behavior. However, evidence of the neurobiological mechanisms underlying these impairments is scarce. To address this issue, we investigated a working memory task concomitantly with electroencephalographic records in twenty patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis who had minimal clinical cognitive alteration, and in twenty healthy control subjects. Participants first watched a memory set of two, four, or six consonants that had to be memorized and, after a black screen that was shown for two seconds, a target stimulus was displayed. We correlated both time-frequency and functional brain connectivity with memory load and behavioral performance. We found that patients and healthy controls presented similar accuracy rates. For high memory loads, patients demonstrated longer reaction times for incorrect responses when the probe was part of the memory set, revealing an increase in cognitive effort. We then evaluated the single trial correlation between the power of the oscillatory activity and the memory load. The healthy control group showed an increase of left frontal and parietal theta activity, while the patient group did not show this increase. The analysis of the successful memory performances demonstrated that controls presented a greater medial theta activity during the maintenance stage; whereas, the patient group showed a decrease in this activity. Interestingly, cortical connectivity analyses using Granger Causality revealed that healthy controls presented a load-modulated progression of the frontal-to-parietal connectivity that indicated successful memory performance, while the patients did not show this pattern. Consistently, phase-amplitude coupling analyses showed that this connectivity was carried out by frontal delta/theta phase to parietal gamma amplitude modulation. Frontal-to-parietal connectivity correlated with working memory capacity in patients measure by Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test. These results indicate that patients with multiple sclerosis present alterations in their capacity to sustain oscillatory dynamics that maintain information in working memory. Thus, differences in brain oscillations and connectivity could be useful for early detection and to study working memory alterations in multiple sclerosis, as well as to implement new therapeutic interventions using non-invasive brain stimulation.

Resumen: Este artículo expone los resultados de una experiencia de investigación realizada el año 2013 con estudiantes de 8vo grado de Educación Básica en un Colegio Particular Subvencionado de Santiago de Chile. El objetivo fue caracterizar los mecanismos histórico-discursivos que los estudiantes utilizaron para responder una pregunta considerando evidencia histórica. El diseño analítico y el metodológico se basan en la noción de género histórico (Coffin, 2006) y el modelo de la VALORACIÓN elaborado desde la Lingüística Sistémica Funcional (LSF) (Coffin, 2006; Martin & Rose, 2008; Martin, 2009). De la tipología de géneros históricos elaborada y desarrolladas por Coffin (2006) Martin y Rose (2008) se reformuló el género ‘recuento histórico’ como ‘tarea de escritura de recuento histórico’. A partir de la identificación de los recursos lingüísticos recurrentes en los textos se pudo caracterizar 4 etapas (inicio, contextualización, reformulación y cierre) y diferentes fases de realización al interior de cada una de las etapas. Los resultados indican que existen criterios de calidad dados por la cercanía a la evidencia histórica y que se expresan en cada una de las fases al interior de las cuatro etapas caracterizadas en este estudio. Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to identify and characterize the structure of the historical genre and discursive mechanisms utilized by Chilean 8th graders as evidenced in a written task. This task consists of students responding to a historical question using on historical evidence. Our analytical framework and methodological design are based on the notion of historical genre and Appraisal Framework used in Systemic Functional Linguistics (Coffin 2006; Martin & Rose, 2008; Martin, 2009). Considering the characterization of historical genres developed by Coffin (2006) and Martin and Rose (2008), the concept of ‘historical account’ genre is reformulated and defined as a ‘historical account writing task.’ Our analysis helped identify and characterize four stages to develop the historical account: a) Start, b) Contextualization, c) Reformulation and c) Closing. We unpack each stage into smaller phases. The results show that there exists a set of criteria afforded by the proximity of the response to the historical evidence, which are expressed in the stages and phases characterized in this study. This set of criteria shapes the quality of the response as evidence of students’ historical understanding.

El presente artículo tiene por objetivo dar a conocer los resultados de una metasíntesis de literatura especializada que ha abordado los sentidos del lugar que adscriben turistas y residentes a áreas silvestres protegidas, y si estos sentidos son similares entre sí, independiente de los contextos socio ambientales donde se desenvuelve la experiencia de ocio y turismo. La literatura consultada fue analizada exhaustiva e interpretativamente con la finalidad de comprender de manera general la construcción social de los sentidos del lugar. Se identificaron cinco categorías, que se consideran sentidos del lugar generales adscritos por turistas y residentes de áreas silvestres protegidas. Estos son: (1) relaciones sociales, (2) naturaleza, (3) experiencia en áreas silvestres protegidas, (4) beneficios e (5) identidad individual, social y comunitaria. Se afirma que este conocimiento puede ser considerado como fundamento para diseñar y desarrollar oportunidades experienciales que fortalezcan la relación de apego entre los turistas y los espacios naturales. The present article offers the results of a meta‑synthesis of specialist literature on sense of place as ascribed by tourists and residents to protected wildlife areas, with the aim of comparing whether these views coincide independent of the social and environmental contexts. A review and interpretation of the existing literature on the subject was carried out to understand the social construct of sense of place. The constructs of (1) social relations, (2) nature, (3) experiences in protected wildlife areas, (4) benefits, and (5) individual, family and community identity were identified as general categories influencing sense of place for both visitors and residents to protected wildlife areas. This knowledge is basic when designing and developing experiences that strengthen the bonds of tourists with the natural environment.

Tesis (Ingeniero en Computación e Informática) El objetivo del proyecto es desarrollar un sistema web de administración de control de propiedades y clientes para Propiedades Daval, para así aumentar su prestigio y lograr una expansión en el mercado respecto a las demás corredoras de propiedades. Para llevar a cabo el proyecto y cumplir con su objetivo es necesario contar con una metodología de desarrollo de software. Esta debe ser una guía ordenada de pasos dividida en fases para el desarrollo software. En este caso en particular fue elegida la metodología denominada Xtream Programing (XP) donde se ocuparan una serie de herramientas como UML (Lenguaje unificado de modelado) entre otras, para poder modelar con diseños de alto nivel la solución propuesta de cómo estará donstituido el sistema. El resultado final del trabajo fue el desarrollo exitoso de un sistema web para Propiedades Daval, que permite darle el control al usuario de las operaciones necesarias a la hora de querer arrendar, comprar, vender y poner en amendo propiedades.
