Climate heterogeneity has enormous impacts on CO2 emissions of the transportation sector, especially in cold regions where the demand for in-car heating and anti-skid measures leads to high energy consumption, and the penetration rate of electric vehicles is low. It entails to propose targeted emission reduction measures in cold regions for peaking CO2 emissions as soon as possible. This paper constructs an integrated long-range energy alternatives planning system (LEAP) model that incorporates multi-transportation modes and multi-energy types to predict the CO2 emission trend of the urban transportation sector in a typical cold province of China. Five scenarios are set based on distinct level emission control for simulating the future trends during 2017–2050. The results indicate that the peak value is 704.7–742.1 thousand metric tons (TMT), and the peak time is 2023–2035. Energy-saving–low-carbon scenario (ELS) is the optimal scenario with the peak value of 716.6 TMT in 2028. Energy intensity plays a dominant role in increasing CO2 emissions of the urban transportation sector. Under ELS, CO2 emissions can be reduced by 68.66%, 6.56% and 1.38% through decreasing energy intensity, increasing the proportion of public transportation and reducing the proportion of fossil fuels, respectively. Simultaneously, this study provides practical reference for other cold regions to formulate CO2 reduction roadmaps.

Objective. The change of bacterial flora structure in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients after treatment is not clear. The aim of this study was to explore the change and function of intestinal microflora in CRC before and after treatment. Method. The 16S conserved region V3+V4 of intestinal flora obtained from CRC patients was sequenced and analyzed. Alpha and beta diversity indices were used to analyze the abundance and structure of gut flora. FAPROTAX, BugBase, and Tax4Fun software were used to analyze the species phenotypes and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes Ontology (KO) function pathways. Results. Total abundance and structure of species in CRC patients were significantly increased compared with healthy people (control group) ( P < 0.05 ), but there was no significant difference between CRC patients before and after treatment ( P > 0.05 ). There was significant difference in relative abundance of bacteria at different levels (phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species) between the CRC group with after operation (CRC_O group) and chemotherapy (CRC_C group) treatment, particularly Prevotellaceae_UCG-001, Akkermansia, Fusicatenibacter, Tyzzerella_4, Megamonas, etc. in genus level. The KO function analysis showed that most of the bacteria with differences were mainly involved in the biosynthesis of lipopolysaccharide (Megamonas, Megasphaera, and Ruminococcus torques_group), protein digestion and absorption, renin-angiotensin system pathway (Akkermansia, Eubacterium_ruminantium_group, and Eubacterium_nodatum_group genus), adipocytokine signaling pathway and peroxisome pathway (Tyzzerella_4, Phascolarctobacterium, Ruminococcus_gnavus_group), and so on. Conclusion. The abundance of intestinal microflora in CRC patients was increased significantly contrasted to healthy people, and surgery and chemotherapy were hard to reduce this phenomenon. Megamonas was involved in lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis and carcinogenesis in colorectal cancer. Surgery and drug treatment did not reduced lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis but increased the number of probiotic Akkermansia population and reduced the pathogenic bacteria Tyzzerella_4, participate in adipocytokine signaling pathway, and affect metabolism.

The lattice-based CRYSTALS-Dilithium scheme is one of the three thirdround digital signature finalists in the National Institute of Standards and Technology Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization Process. Due to the complex calculations and highly individualized functions in Dilithium, its hardware implementations face the problems of large area requirements and low efficiency. This paper proposes several optimization methods to achieve a compact and high-performance hardware architecture for round 3 Dilithium. Specifically, a segmented pipelined processing method is proposed to reduce both the storage requirements and the processing time. Moreover, several optimized modules are designed to improve the efficiency of the proposed architecture, including a pipelined number theoretic transform module, a SampleInBall module, a Decompose module, and three modular reduction modules. Compared with state-of-the-art designs for Dilithium on similar platforms, our implementation requires 1.4×/1.4×/3.0×/4.5× fewer LUTs/FFs/BRAMs/DSPs, respectively, and 4.4×/1.7×/1.4× less time for key generation, signature generation, and signature verification, respectively, for NIST security level 5.

A better understanding of the mechanisms of beige and brown adipogenesis is needed for developing strategies to prevent and treat obesity and associated metabolic disorders. Phytanic acid (PA) exists in a wide range of foods, especially in milk fat and marine foods, but its effects on obesity and beige adipogenesis remain poorly defined. The objective is to investigate the effects and regulatory mechanisms of PA in the beige adipogenesis. In 3T3-L1 preadipocytes, PA elevated the expression of brown adipogenic markers, suggesting that PA promotes beige adipogenic differentiation in committed adipogenic cells. In uncommitted C3H10T1/2 cells, while PA increased PGC1α expression, it did not increase brown adipogenic regulators PRDM16 or UCP1 expression, suggesting that PA had no significant effects on brown adipocyte commitment. PA also enhanced mitochondrial biogenesis and oxygen consumption. Promotion of both mitochondriogenesis and beige adipogenic differentiation were blocked by using PPARα antagonist or with Pparα knockdown, showing that PA-mediated beige/brown adipogenic differentiation is dependent on PPARα. Additionally, the PA-regulated effect is independent on β3-adrenergic receptor. Taken together, PA promotes beige adipogenic differentiation, but not the commitment of progenitor cells to the brown adipocyte lineage. PPARα is a key mediator during PA-induced beige/brown adipogenic differentiation.

The low-cost, highly efficient online finance credit provides underfunded individuals and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with an indispensable credit channel. Most of the previous studies focus on the client crediting and screening of online finance. Few have studied the risk rating under a complete credit risk management system. This paper introduces the improved neural network technology to the credit risk rating of online finance. Firstly, the study period was divided into the early phase and late phase after the launch of an online finance credit product. In the early phase, there are few manually labeled samples and many unlabeled samples. Therefore, a cold start method was designed for the credit risk rating of online finance, and the similarity and abnormality of credit default were calculated. In the late phase, there are few unlabeled samples. Hence, the backpropagation neural network (BPNN) was improved for online finance credit risk rating. Our strategy was proved valid through experiments.

Cattle have emerged as one of the most important domestic animals widely used for meat, milk, and fur. Derivation of bovine pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) can be applied in drug selecting and human disease modeling and facilitated agriculture-related applications such as production of genetically excellent cattle by gene editing. Extended PSCs (EPSCs), capable of differentiating into embryonic and extraembryonic parts, have been generated in mouse, human, and pig. Whether bovine EPSCs could be generated, and their chimeric competency remains unclear. This study focused on derivation of bovine EPSCs using LCDM medium and exploring the characteristics of EPSCs among different species, including bovine, mouse, and human EPSCs. Here, using LCDM medium (consisting of hLIF, CHIR99021, (S)-(+)-dimethindene maleate, and minocycline hydrochloride) enables the derivation of bovine EPSCs from induced PSCs (iPSCs) and bovine fetal fibroblasts (BFF) with stable morphology, pluripotent marker expression, and in vitro differentiation ability. Notably, bovine EPSCs exhibited interspecies chimeric contribution to embryonic and extraembryonic tissues in pre-implantation blastocysts and postimplantation bovine-mouse chimeras. Transcriptome analysis revealed the unique molecular characteristics of bovine EPSCs compared with iPSCs. The similarities and differences in molecular features across bovine, human, and mouse EPSCs were also described by transcriptome analysis. Taken together, the LCDM culture system containing chemical cocktails can be used for the establishment and long-term passaging of bovine EPSCs with embryonic and extraembryonic potency in bovine-mouse chimeras. Our findings lay the foundation of generating PSCs in domestic animals and open avenues for basic and applied research in biology, medicine, and agriculture. Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) is an essential security block in security systems, which can be used for authentication and key generation. Its security is related to the security of the entire security system, thus it has received widespread attention and it is necessary for designers and users to know the security threats and solutions for PUFs before working on PUFs. The paper mainly introduces and summarizes a variety of side-channel attacks, machine learning attacks, and corresponding countermeasures for PUFs. Side-channel attacks are usually combined with machine learning attacks to improve the effectiveness of attacks. Attackers can use machine learning methods to achieve mathematical modeling of PUFs and most of the existing PUFs are vulnerable to machine learning attacks.

It is not fully clear why there is a higher contribution of pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) to the chimera produced by injection of PSCs into 4-cell or 8-cell stage embryos compared with blastocyst injection. Here, we show that not only embryonic stem cells (ESCs) but also induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) can generate F0 nearly 100% donor cell-derived mice by 4-cell stage embryo injection, and the approach has a “dose effect”. Through an analysis of the PSC-secreted proteins, Activin A was found to impede epiblast (EPI) lineage development while promoting trophectoderm (TE) differentiation, resulting in replacement of the EPI lineage of host embryos with PSCs. Interestingly, the injection of ESCs into blastocysts cultured with Activin A (cultured from 4-cell stage to early blastocyst at E3.5) could increase the contribution of ESCs to the chimera. The results indicated that PSCs secrete protein Activin A to improve their EPI competency after injection into recipient embryos through influencing the development of mouse early embryos. This result is useful for optimizing the chimera production system and for a deep understanding of PSCs effects on early embryo development. This study looks at the sources of anti-Japanese sentiment in today's China. Using original survey data collected in June 2014 from 1,458 students at three elite universities in Beijing, we quantitatively investigate which factors are associated with stronger anti-Japanese sentiment among elite university students. In particular, we examine the link between the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s nationalist propaganda (especially patriotic education) and university students’ anti-Japanese sentiment. We find that nationalist propaganda does indeed have a significant effect on negative sentiment towards Japan. Reliance on state-sanctioned textbooks for information about Japan, visiting museums and memorials or watching television programmes and movies relating to the War of Resistance against Japan are all associated with higher levels of anti-Japanese sentiment. The findings suggest the effectiveness of nationalist propaganda in promoting anti-Japanese sentiment. We also find that alternative sources of information, especially personal contact with Japan, can mitigate anti-Japanese sentiment. Thus, visiting Japan and knowing Japanese people in person can potentially offset some of the influences of nationalist propaganda.

To explore the effectiveness of patellar tendon reconstruction by using LARS artificial ligament in treatment of old patellar tendon rupture.A clinical data of 12 patients with old patellar ligament ruptures, who met the inclusive criteria and reconstructed with LARS artificial ligament between December 2011 and December 2017, was retrospectively analyzed. There were 8 males and 4 females with an average age of 33.5 years (range, 18-55 years). The cause of injury included traffic accident injury in 4 cases, sport injury in 5 cases, and violent injury in 3 cases. There were 5 cases in the left knee and 7 cases in the right knee. The disease duration was 2-12 weeks (mean, 2.5 weeks). The preoperative Lysholm score and Kujala score were 43.2±3.2 and 43.9±2.6, respectively. The knee range of motion was (106.5±14.7)°. The thigh circumference which was measured at 10 cm above the upper end of the patella was (40.92±1.93) cm. There were 4 cases of patellar ligament body rupture, 1 case of patella distal pola rupture, and 7 cases of tibial tuberosity attachment rupture. Preoperative Caton-Deschamps index was 1.47±0.13.All patients were followed up 12-30 months (mean, 20.5 months). All incisions healed by first intention. And no complication such as infection, recurrent rupture, and neurovascular injury occurred. At 1 year after operation, the knee range of motion was (131.0±10.2)°, Lysholm score was 87.4±2.4, Kujala score was 88.3±4.8, the thigh circumference which was measured at 10 cm above the upper end of the patella was (42.58±1.93) cm; all showing significant differences when compared with preoperative values (Patellar tendon reconstruction with LARS artificial ligament is an effective method for the old patellar ligament rupture, which can effectively repair the knee extension device and restore knee function.探讨 LARS 人工韧带重建治疗陈旧性髌韧带断裂的疗效。.回顾分析 2011 年 12 月—2017 年 12 月收治并符合选择标准的 12 例陈旧性髌韧带断裂患者临床资料，患者均采用 LARS 人工韧带重建治疗。男 8 例，女 4 例；年龄 18～55 岁，平均 33.5 岁。致伤原因：交通事故伤 4 例，运动伤 5 例，暴力伤 3 例。左膝 5 例，右膝 7 例。病程 2～12 周，平均 2.5 周。术前膝关节 Lysholm 评分为（43.2±3.2）分，Kujala 评分为（43.9±2.6）分，膝关节活动度为（106.5±14.7）°，髌上 10 cm 处大腿周径为（40.92±1.93）cm。影像学检查示髌韧带体部断裂 4 例，髌骨下极处断裂 1 例，胫骨结节止点处断裂 7 例；Caton-Deschamps 指数为 1.47±0.13。.所有患者术后均获随访，随访时间 12～30 个月，平均 20.5 个月。切口均Ⅰ期愈合，无感染、韧带再断裂以及神经血管损伤等并发症发生。术后 1 年，患者膝关节活动度为（131.0±10.2）°，Lysholm 评分为（87.4±2.4）分，Kujala 评分为（88.3±4.8）分，髌上 10 cm 处大腿周径为（42.58±1.93）cm，与术前比较差异均有统计学意义（LARS 人工韧带重建治疗陈旧性髌韧带断裂疗效确切，能够有效修复伸膝装置及恢复膝关节功能。.

Maternal obesity (MO) predisposes offspring to metabolic disorders, but the mechanisms remain poorly defined. Recent studies emphasize the importance of brown adipose tissue (BAT) in maintaining metabolic health, and MO was recently demonstrated to impair BAT thermogenic function in offspring. The current study aimed to investigate the mechanisms leading to the impairment in fetal BAT development due to MO. Female C57BL/6J mice were fed a control diet or a 60% high-fat diet for 10 weeks, mated and maintained on their respective diets during pregnancy. Fetal tissue was collected at E18.5, the late stage of pregnancy. Fetal BAT contained more triglycerides compared to the control, which was correlated with higher expression of white adipogenic markers. On the other hand, the expression of BAT markers was down-regulated in the MO fetal BAT. Based on RNA-sequencing analyses, genes related to mitochondriogenesis and myogenesis were found to be down-regulated, while those related to white adipocyte differentiation were up-regulated in MO fetal BAT. Because brown adipocytes are derived from myogenic progenitors, the down-regulation of myogenic genes might partially explain hampered brown adipogenesis in MO fetal BAT. Consistently, mitochondrial DNA and mitochondrial biogenesis markers were also down-regulated in MO fetal BAT. MicroRNA-sequencing identified that miR-204-5p expression was elevated in MO fetal BAT. This microRNA targeted the 3′-untranslated regions of PGC1α and Sirt1 mRNA to suppress their expression and impair mitochondriogenesis. In summary, MO impaired fetal BAT development through suppressing myogenesis and brown adipogenesis while enhancing white adipogenic commitment, and inhibited mitochondriogenesis partially through enhancing miR-204-5p expression.

The urban household sector is considered to be an essential source of climate change. In order to obtain detailed information concerning the description of household consumption activities, this paper combined consumer lifestyle approach and input-output analysis to estimate indirect carbon emissions of urban household from 2002 to 2012. Besides, we further analysed the driving forces and inequality of indirect carbon emissions. The results showed that the total indirect carbon emissions during the study period increased rapidly, rising from 894.08 MtCO2 to 1957.03 MtCO2. ¬ More than 58% of carbon emissions were from 40% of the high income population. The highest income group, 10% of total urban households, deduced 21% of urban indirect carbon emissions. The per capita carbon emissions of different households showed a remarkable disparity, and the per capita carbon emissions of high income groups decreased from 2011 to 2012. The effective mitigation efforts should focus on reducing carbon intensity and shifting consumption structure. For high inequality consumption activities caused by rich households, rich urban households should consume less goods and services from this consumption activities. For high inequality consumption activities caused by low income households, the redistribution of income from rich to poor and low carbon intensity lifestyles may be better options to reduce carbon emissions and inequalities of urban households.

Large numbers of lipids exist in the porcine oocytes and early embryos and have the positive effects on their development, suggesting that the lipids may play an important role in pluripotency establishment and maintenance in pigs. However, the effects of lipids and their metabolites, such as fatty acids on reprogramming and the pluripotency gene expression of porcine-induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), are unclear. Here, we generated the porcine iPSCs that resemble the mouse embryonic stem cells (ESCs) under lipid and fatty-acid-enriched cultural conditions (supplement of AlbuMAX). These porcine iPSCs show positive for the ESCs pluripotency markers and have the differentiation abilities to all three germ layers, and importantly, have the capability of aggregation into the inner cell mass (ICM) of porcine blastocysts. We further confirmed that lipid and fatty acid enriched condition can promote the cell proliferation and improve reprogramming efficiency by elevating cAMP levels. Interestingly, this lipids supplement promotes mesenchymal–epithelial transition (MET) through the cAMP/PKA/CREB signal pathway and upregulates the E-cadherin expression during porcine somatic cell reprogramming. The lipids supplement also makes a contribution to lipid droplets accumulation in the porcine iPSCs that resemble porcine preimplantation embryos. These findings may facilitate understanding of the lipid metabolism in porcine iPSCs and lay the foundation of bona fide porcine embryonic stem cell derivation.

Wavelet is able to adapt to the requirements of time-frequency signal analysis automatically and can focus on any details of the signal and then decompose the function into the representation of a series of simple basis functions. It is of theoretical and practical significance. Therefore, this paper does subdivision on track irregularity time series based on the idea of wavelet decomposition-reconstruction and tries to find the best fitting forecast model of detail signal and approximate signal obtained through track irregularity time series wavelet decomposition, respectively. On this ideology, piecewise gray-ARMA recursive based on wavelet decomposition and reconstruction (PG-ARMARWDR) and piecewise ANN-ARMA recursive based on wavelet decomposition and reconstruction (PANN-ARMARWDR) models are proposed. Comparison and analysis of two models have shown that both these models can achieve higher accuracy.

Focusing on problems existing in track irregularity time series data quality, this paper first presents abnormal data identification, data offset correction algorithm, local outlier data identification, and noise cancellation algorithms. And then proposes track irregularity time series decomposition and reconstruction through the wavelet decomposition and reconstruction approach. Finally, the patterns and features of track irregularity standard deviation data sequence in unit sections are studied, and the changing trend of track irregularity time series is discovered and described.

The aim was to explore the potential application of novel self-assembled nanoparticles cross-linking thermosensitive hydrogels composed of polyvinyl caprolactam-polyvinyl acetate-polyethylene glycol (Soluplus) and tacrolimus (FK-506) for local therapy of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The sol-gel transition temperature (Tsol-gel), gelation time, rheological behaviors, in vitro release, in vivo gelation and retention, and therapeutic efficacy against adjuvant-induced arthritis (AIA) rats were compared between the Soluplus hydrogels and widely studied poloxamer 407 (P407) delivery systems. In sol, the spherical and uniform FK506 loaded Soluplus nanoparticles (Soluplus-SNPs) were self-assembled with encapsulation efficiency of 99.5±1.5% and particle size of 73.9±2.9nm. The decreased Tsol-gel of Soluplus-SNPs hydrogels was associated with the addition of salts, elevation of pH and ionic strength. The optimal Tsol-gel of Soluplus-SNPs with concentrations of 10%-30% in phosphate buffer (50mM, pH 7.4) was from 37.4±0.1°C to 32.8±0.3°C and the gelation time was not greater than 2min. Soluplus-SNPs gelling systems showed lower viscosity and wider range concentrations in sol state at 25°C and stronger gel strength at 37°C than P407, which resulting in longer sustained release of FK506 but without burst-release in vitro, and longer retention time in the local injection site in vivo. The therapeutic efficacy to treat AIA rats was significantly enhanced from d10 to d17 after a single dose of FK506 loaded in 10% and 20% Soluplus-SNPs hydrogels. In conclusion, Soluplus-SNPs hydrogel is a potential sustainable delivery system for FK506 to treat RA locally.

The ability to generate germ cells from pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) is valuable for human regenerative medicine and animal breeding. Germ cell-like cells (GCLCs) have been differentiated from mouse and human PSCs, but not from porcine PSCs, which are considered an ideal model for stem cell applications. Here, we developed a defined culture system for the induction of primordial germ cell-like cells (PGCLCs) from porcine induced PSCs (piPSCs). The identity of the PGCLCs was characterized by observing cell morphology, detecting germ cell marker gene expression and evaluating epigenetic properties. PGCLCs could further differentiate into spermatogonial stem cell-like cells (SSCLCs) in vitro. Importantly, meiosis occurred during SSCLC induction. Xenotransplantation of GCLCs into seminiferous tubules of infertile immunodeficient mice resulted in immunohistochemically identifiable germ cells in vivo. Overall, our study provides a feasible strategy for directing piPSCs to the germ cell fate and lays a foundation for exploring germ cell development mechanisms.

Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) have variable expression levels of a series of genes that affect their pluripotent potential, but the regulatory mechanisms controlling reprogramming remain unclear. By testing the efficiency of iPSC generation using Oct4, Sox2, Klf4 (termed OSK) plus one additional gene, we found that Rab32 improved reprogramming efficiency. We established a system for detecting the number and the size of lipid droplets and autophagosomes per cell for tracking their morphological changes during reprogramming. Our results showed that Rab32 increased lipid storage during the early and middle stages and also increased autophagy during the middle stage of reprogramming. These findings were further confirmed by the up-regulation of lipid biosynthesis and autophagosome formation related genes, of which their expression could improve iPSC induction. The inhibition of lipid biosynthesis and autophagosome formation significantly reduced reprogramming efficiency and the inhibition of lipid synthesis phenotype could be rescued by the overexpression of Rab32. In addition, the expression of pluripotency genes such as Klf2, Nr5a2 and Tbx3, was up-regulated by Rab32. These results demonstrated that Rab32 could improve the induction of iPSCs through the enhancement of lipid biosynthesis, highlighting the importance of lipid metabolism during reprogramming.

In this paper, management information system of railway permanent way safety risks and comprehensive evaluation is built through the integration of existing resources of the railway permanent way department, to achieve scientific and standardized management. It provides the effective solution for innovation of railway permanent way management and the mode of administration. This system is operational in February, 2008 in the Kunming railway bureau.

In this paper, a three-component decomposition algorithm is proposed for processing compact polarimetric SAR images. By using the correspondence between the covariance matrix and the Stokes vector, three-component scattering models for CTLR and DCP modes are established. The explicit expression of decomposition results is then derived by setting the contribution of volume scattering as a free parameter. The degree of depolarization is taken as the upper bound of the free parameter, for the constraint that the weighting factor of each scattering component should be nonnegative. Several methods are investigated to estimate the free parameter suitable for decomposition. The feasibility of this algorithm is validated by AIRSAR data over San Francisco and RADARSAT-2 data over Flevoland.

Railway distributed system integration needs to realize information exchange, resources sharing and coordination process across fields, departments and application systems. And railway data integration is essential to implement this integration. In order to resolve the problem of heterogeneity of data models among data sources of different railway operation systems, this paper has brought forth the concept of metadata dictionary that abstracts related information and information content of each data source. Based on the metadata dictionary, this paper presents a novel integration data model of spatial structure, a XML-oriented 3-dimension common data model. The proposed model accommodates both the flexibility of level relationship and syntax expression in data integration. In this model, a spatial data pattern is used to describe and express the characteristic relationship of data items among all types of data. Based on the data model with rooted directed graph and the organization of level as well as the flexibility of the expression, the model can represent the mapping between different data models, including relationship model and object-oriented model. A consistent concept and algebraic description of the data set is given to function as the metadata in data integration, so that the algebraic manipulation of data integration is standardized to support the data integration of distributed system.

As an important component of China’s transportation data sharing system, high-speed railway data sharing is a typical application of data-intensive computing. Currently, most high-speed railway data is shared in cloud computing environment. Thus, there is an urgent need for an effective cloud-computing-based data placement strategy in high-speed railway. In this paper, a new data placement strategy named hierarchical structure data placement strategy is proposed. The proposed method combines the semidefinite programming algorithm with the dynamic interval mapping algorithm. The semi-definite programming algorithm is suitable for the placement of files with various replications, ensuring that different replications of a file are placed on different storage devices, while the dynamic interval mapping algorithm ensures better self-adaptability of the data storage system. A hierarchical data placement strategy is proposed for large-scale networks. In this paper, a new theoretical analysis is provided, which is put in comparison with several other previous data placement approaches, showing the efficacy of the new analysis in several experiments.

Pluripotent stem cells (PSCs), including embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced PSCs (iPSCs), can differentiate into cells of the three germ layers, suggesting that PSCs have great potential for basic developmental biology research and wide applications for clinical medicine. Genuine ESCs and iPSCs have been derived from mice and rats, but not from livestock such as the pig─an ideal animal model for studying human disease and regenerative medicine due to similarities with human physiologic processes. Efforts to derive porcine ESCs and iPSCs have not yielded high-quality PSCs that can produce chimeras with germline transmission. Thus, exploration of the unique porcine gene regulation network of preimplantation embryonic development may permit optimization of in vitro culture systems for raising porcine PSCs. Here we summarize the recent progress in porcine PSC generation as well as the problems encountered during this progress and we depict prospects for generating porcine naive PSCs.

In the environment of cloud computing, real-time mass data about high-speed rail which is based on the intense monitoring of large scale perceived equipment provides strong support for the safety and maintenance of high-speed rail. In this paper, we focus on the Top- k algorithm of continuous distribution based on Multisource distributed data stream for high-speed rail monitoring. Specifically, we formalized Top- k monitoring model of high-speed rail and proposed DTMR that is the Top- k monitoring algorithm with random, continuous, or strictly monotone aggregation functions. The DTMR was proved to be valid by lots of experiments.
