Někteří Slováci se v průběhu 18. století rozhodli opustit svojí domovinu a vydat se hledat nový a lepší domov. Většina z nich se z jihu Slovenska a severu Maďarska vydala dále na jih do tehdejších Dolních Uher, kde jejich potomci pobývají dodnes. V Srbsku, ve Vojvodině, nalezneme velmi aktivní spolky pečující o tradiční slovenskou kulturu. Jedná se o celosvětově nejaktivnější a nejpočetnější skupinu Slováků žijících v zahraničí, o něco méně početné spolky jsou i v severním Chorvatsku kolem města Ilok. Nejméně početná je skupina Slováků žijících v Černé Hoře.

Abstract: The research of the high temperature mechanical properties of Fe28Al4Cr with additives Ce, TiB2 and Zr is completed using as additive Zr combined with TiB2. The alloy was prepared using vacuum induction melting and rolling at 1200 °C and finally applying annealing at 1150°C for 2 hours. During alloying the majority of Ti in TiB2 was replaced by Zr. The majority of (Zr,Ti)B2 particles is situated along the grain boundaries. Fine ZrC carbide particles appear mainly on dislocations. Tensile and creep tests were performed at 600, 650, 700, 800 and 900 °C. Transmission electron microscopy showed precipitation of fine particles on dislocations, subgrain boundaries and also in the matrix. Coarsening of these particles during creep at 800 °C and 900 °C takes place. The high temperature mechanical properties of alloys with additives Ce, TiB2, Zr and Zr combined with TiB2 are compared. The Larson–Miller parameter is used to describe the creep strength. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

The creep behaviour of the intermetallic Fe–28Al–3Cr alloy with Ce additive was investigated at temperatures from 500 to 900 °C. The effect of the thermal processing was studied. The properties (e.g. time to rupture, minimum creep rate (MCR), the ultimate deformation) were improved by introducing small particles originating in the temperature interval from 600 to 800 °C. The effect of phase composition and morphology on high-temperature strength in the compression of Fe-Al-Si-based iron aluminides manufactured by casting was investigated. The structure and high-temperature strength in the compression of three alloys-Fe28Al5Si, Fe28Al5Si2Mo, and Fe28Al5Si2Ti-were studied. Long-term (at 800 °C for 100 h) annealing was performed for the achievement of structural stability. The phase composition and grain size of alloys were primarily described by means of scanning electron microscopy equipped with energy dispersive analysis and Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD). The phase composition was verified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The effect of Mo and Ti addition as well as the effect of long-term annealing on high-temperature yield stress in compression were investigated. Both additives-Mo and Ti-affected the yield stress values positively. Long-term annealing of Fe28Al5Si-X iron aluminide alloyed with Mo and Ti deteriorates yield stress values slightly due to grain coarsening.
