In the DC microgrid system, the bidirectional DC/DC converter is one of the most important components; thus, research on its control strategy has attracted widespread attention. Firstly, the single bidirectional DC/DC converter based on a sliding mode (variable structure) control (SMC) strategy exhibits an inherent contradiction between the reaching time and the chattering phenomenon. In order to address this problem, an SMC strategy based on the improved exponential reaching law was designed. This control strategy modifies the constant-speed reaching term and introduces the system state variable to indicate the chattering level, which not only improves the dynamic performance of the bidirectional DC/DC converter but also suppresses the chattering problem. Secondly, the bidirectional DC/DC converter group based on the traditional droop control strategy exhibits an inherent contradiction between load power allocation and bus voltage stabilization. In order to address this problem, an improved droop control strategy that takes the line impedance characteristics into account is proposed. This control strategy modifies the traditional droop control strategy by introducing virtual resistance and uses DC bus voltage information to replace the line impedance value. This ensures the accuracy of power allocation and stability of the DC bus voltage simultaneously. Finally, the stability of each designed strategy is verified individually. The combination of the two control strategies is applied to a group of bidirectional DC/DC converters group to conduct a semi-physical simulation experiment, and the results verify that the proposed control strategies are effective and feasible. Effective aggregation and rational allocation of flexible resources are the fundamental methods for solving the problem of an insufficient flexibility adjustment ability of a power system. The flexible scheduling resources of a distribution system are often small in scale and distributed mostly by different stakeholders. A virtual power plant (VPP) gathers small resources to participate in the day-ahead electricity market, but, due to the scale and characteristics of a VPP's internal flexible resources, it cannot reach the access threshold of a peak shaving market in some periods due to small differences. In order to solve the market bidding problem of a VPP limited by capacity, and to achieve economic goals, a virtual power plant operator (VPPO) not only needs to interact with internal subjects but also needs to interact with other subjects with flexible resources in the distribution network. In this study, an electric vehicle (EV) cluster is taken as the interactive object, and a day-ahead bidding strategy of a VPP with multi-level electric energy interaction is proposed. The VPP not only makes full-time game pricing for internal participants but also makes time-sharing bargaining with an EV operator. Intense light-matter interaction is critical for enabling high-sensitivity refractive index sensors, high-efficiency light sources, and high-performance nonlinear devices. A bowtie-hole photonic crystal micro-ring resonator is proposed and numerically demonstrated to enhance the light-matter interaction effectively through achieving strong spatial and temporal light confinement, simultaneously. Through engineering the photonic crystal unit cell, the bowtie-hole photonic crystal is proved to possess the ability to localize light with a highly tight spatial confinement. By optimizing the bowtie-hole radius and the bowtie angle, the Q factor of the air mode in the resonator is improved to 1.42 × 105, which denotes an excellent temporal confinement. With the advantages addressed, the refractive index sensing based on the high-Q air mode in the bowtie-hole photonic crystal micro-ring resonator is investigated. For the air mode in the bowtie-hole photonic crystal micro-ring resonator, the Q factor is comparable with that in the reported research, meanwhile the sensing sensitivity has a 2-fold enhancement.
