The relevance of this research lies in the in-depth exploration of bone tissue remodeling dynamics following the creation of a defect and its filling with osteoplastic material. Despite the known results of osteoplastic materials application in clinical practice, complete and high-quality regeneration of the maxillofacial bone, its mechanisms and dynamics remain incompletely understood, requiring further clarification and detailed study. Aim. The aim of this study is to determine the dynamics of histoarchitectural changes in the bone-ceramic regenerate after transplantation of octacalcium phosphate into an experimental defect in the rabbit mandible. Materials and methods. Adult male rabbits aged 6–7 months and weighing 2.5–3.0 kg were used for the study. The control group consisted of animals with a bone defect that healed under a blood clot. The experimental group consisted of rabbits in which the bone defect was filled with an osteotropic material containing octacalcium phosphate. Post-traumatic bone tissue status within the defect area was monitored for 84 days. Ultrastructural changes were studied using transmission and scanning electron microscopy. To determine changes in the regenerate composition, three parameters were counted. The data was analyzed using the Student’s t-test, and a difference at p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results. Studying the surface relief characteristics of the experimental bone defect in the lower jaw after implantation of the octacalcium phosphate material revealed numerous regenerative changes that occurred after the injury and correlated with the dynamics of changes in the relative area of bone tissue, osteoplastic material, and connective tissue in the regenerate. Morphometric analysis of the relative area of the regenerative components of the experimental defect established a phased nature of the dynamics of the studied changes. It was established that the osteocytic lacunar-canalicular system formed after implantation of the material acquired features of typical structure. Foci of incomplete osteogenesis were not visualized. Unlike control animals, in the zone of the outer bone plate after application of the octacalcium phosphate material, the osteons of the regenerate in their structure and geometry did not differ from the typical structure of the maternal bone. Conclusions. It was established that in the experimental group of animals where the defect was filled with octacalcium phosphate material, a regular increase in the relative area of bone tissue in the regenerate was observed, which in terms of dynamics was similar to that in the control group, however, in terms of intensity of changes it significantly differed from the control, approaching the norm in terms of the studied indicators.

The aim of our work was to study the structural organization of the components of vertebral disc of rats on the microscopic level in the normal state.This goal was achieved by means of microscopic method of visualization of cellular components of the intervertebral disc of rats. Histological preparations were made in accordance with the conventional method of using the dye hematoxylin, eosin and azan according to the method of Heidenhain, PAS reaction according to MacManus and Alcian blue according to Steedman.As a result of the microstructural study, it was ascertained that the rat’s intervertebral disc normally consists of a gelatinous (pulpal) nucleus and a fibrous ring. It is separated from the vertebral bodies by a thin layer of cartilaginous tissue of the locking plates and hyaline cartilage, which covers the bodies of adjacent vertebrae. The data that rats do not have locking plates can be rarely found in the literature. The vessels verging the intervertebral disc radially -in front, back and from the sides, branch out from the vessels of vertebral periosteum. In the cartilaginous tissue of intervertebral disc, vessels are not visualized.

Background. Over the last decade, there has been a global pending to increase the incidence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by 25% in men and 69% in women. Objective. To study the role of sialoglycans according to wheat germ lectin receptors (WGA) and morphofunctional features of offspring rats, which developed in conditions of hyperfunction of the thyroid gland of the maternal organism. Methods. The experimental study was performed on the offsprings of 20 females (10 control, 10 experimental) rats of the Wistar line. For 20 days before coupling the females of the experimental group received the drug L-thyroxine (Berlin-Chemie) at a dose of 150 μg / kg body weight. After euthanasia by overdose of ether anesthesia, the offspring from control and experimental females were taken lungs on the 1st, 10th, 20th and 40th day of postnatal development. Histological material was fixed in 4% neutral formalin, compacted and poured into paraffin blocks, made sections 5-7 μm thick. Review preparations were stained with hematoxylin and eosin according to standard methods. Wheat germ lectin WGA (Triticum vulgare) labeled with peroxidase-specific DGlcNAc NeuNAc was used to detect sialoglycans. Results. On the 1-40th day of postnatal development, the lungs of rats of the intact group show up typical morphology characteristic of rat lungs. On the tenth day of postnatal development in the offsprings lungs from females receiving L-thyroxine visually increases the number of alveoli, indicating an intensification of morphogenesis of lung tissue. Lectinohistochemical studies showed that on the first day of postnatal development in the lungs of rats of the intact group, receptors for sialospecific lectin WGA were identified on the surface of ciliated cells of the bronchial tree and vascular endothelium, while in the experimental group receptors for this lectin were found significantly in alveolar macrophages, visualised more often than in the lungs of the offspring from rats of the control group. Whereas on the 20th-40th day of postnatal development the number of macrophages with the presence of sialoglycans decreased. Conclusion. Studies have shown that in the lungs of offsprings from females receiving L-thyroxine, there are processes of intensification of the structural components of the lungs and the appearance of alveolar macrophages with the presence of sialospecific lectin WGA receptors, the number of which decreases during postnatal ontogenesi, that indicating a decrease of the immunity.

Актуальність. Опіоїдним аналгетикам властиво як аналгетичний так і наркогенний ефекти. Серед патології органів порожнини рота тканини пародонта займають провідне місце, оскільки вони яскраво відображають вплив негативних чинників, у зв’язку з чим вивчення патологічних змін в пародонті при тривалій дії наркотичних речовин є актуальною проблемою. Мета. Вивчити морфометричні показники структурних компонентів пародонта при дії опіоїду впродовж шести і восьми тижнів в експерименті. Методи дослідження. Матеріалом дослідження слугували 26 білих щурів-самців, початковою масою 160 г, віком 4,5 – 6,5 міс. Тварин поділили на 3 групи. Перша група – інтактні, у другій групі щурам протягом 5 і 6 тижня вводили внутрішньом’язево налбуфін у дозі 0,252 мг/кг, у третій групі (7 і 8 тижні) дозу збільшили до 0,260 мг/кг. Для морфометричних досліджень використали гістологічні зрізи ясен з фрагментів нижньої щелепи щурів. Аналіз результатів морфометричного дослідження і статистичну обробку даних проводили за загальноприйнятими статистичними методами. Результати. Морфометричновстановлено, що при дії опіоїдного аналгетика впродовж шести і восьми тижнів експерименту, середнє значення товщини епітелію ясен та висота сполучнотканинних сосочків достовірно зменшується. Показники середніх значень ширини періодонта практично не змінюються. У сполучній тканині спостерігаються судинні розлади, зростає середнє значення діаметру просвіту венул, гемокапілярів та артеріол. Висновки. Отримані результати морфометричних досліджень свідчать про наростання патологічних змін вдинаміці упродовж шеститижневого і восьмитижневого впливу опіоїду, що є наслідком суттєвих порушень трофіки складових компонентів пародонта, розвитком застійних явищ і прогресування явищ гіпоксії тканин.

Актуальність. Застосування електронномікроскопічного дослідження для вивчення структурної організації клітин може бути використано як стандарт при подальших гістологічних дослідженнях та характеристиці морфологічних змін у патологічно змінених тканинах пародонта. Оцінка нормальної незміненої тканини забезпечує важливі дані для аналізу патологічних порушень або активізації регенеративних процесів в структурах пародонта. Метою роботи було дослідити ультраструктурну організацію м’яких тканин пародонтального комплексу щура в нормі. Методи. В експерименті було використано 12 безпородних білих щурів-самців, віком 3,5 місяці, масою тіла 130-160 г. Для проведення електронномікроскопічного дослідження вирізали шматочки м’яких тканин пародонта в межах ясенного сосочка з різних ділянок верхньої та нижньої щелеп щура. Маленькі шматочки тканини фіксували в 2,5 % розчині глютаральдегіду, постфіксували в 1 % розчині тетраокису осмію на фосфатному буфері рН 7,2-7,4, зневоднювали в спиртах і пропіленоксиді та заливали в суміш епоксидних смол з аралдитом. Ультратонкі зрізи, виготовлені на ультрамікротомі УМПТ3м вивчали в електронному мікроскопі ПЕМ-100-01. Результати. Було встановлено, що клітини базального і остистого шарів складають росткову зону епітелію. Зернистий шар невеликої ширини, клітини осміофільні, з нерівними контурами каріолеми ядра. Роговий шар утворений дегенеративно зміненими епітеліоцитами. Періодонт складається з колагенових волокон, прошарків пухкої сполучної тканини, а також клітин фібробластів, базофілів, лімфоцитів та плазмоцитів. У просвітах гемокапілярів спостерігаються еритроцити, стінку утворюють ендотеліоцити та базальна мембрана. Висновки. Таким чином, проведені електронномікроскопічні дослідження м’яких тканин пародонта щура в нормі встановили видові особливості будови ясен, періодонта та гемокапілярів слизової оболонки ясен.

Актуальність. Злами кісток сьогодні посідають одне з чільних місць серед травматичних уражень. В стоматологічній практиці більше 50% екстракцій зубів супроводжується руйнуванням кісткової тканини коміркових ділянок щелеп. Необхідною умовою адекватної діагностики відхилень показників якості кісткової тканини від норми є знання нормативних показників данного параметра як інтактної кістки, так і після нанесення хірургічної травми. Мета. Метою нашого дослідження стало визначення нормативних показників щільності кісткової тканини нижньої щелепи щура та її мінерального складу в інтактних тварин, а також з’ясування закономірностей динаміки цих показників після нанесення хірургічної травми. Методи дослідження. Дослідження виконане на 20 статевозрілих безпородних щурах-самцях массою тіла 180–200 г та віком 3,5 місяці. Травму моделювали шляхом порушення цілісності кісткової тканини нижньої щелепи в ділянці великих кутніх зубів за допомогою стоматологічного бора. Операцію проводили під тіопенталовим наркозом. Контроль якості кісткової тканини травмованої ділянки нижньої щелепи здійснювали з використанням дентального радіовізіографа фірми Siemens з програмним забезпеченням TrophyRadiology. Дослідження якості і мінерального складу кісткової тканини нижньої щелепи проводили через 1, 2 і 3 тижні після нанесення травми (по 5 тварин на кожному терміні експерименту), ще 5 тварин склали контрольну групу Результати. Проведене дослідження засвідчило наявність вираженої динаміки якості кісткової тканини нижньої щелепи впродовж трьох тижнів після нанесення кісткоруйнуючої травми.Впродовж двох тижнів після нанесення травми щільність кісткової тканини нижньої щелепи в травмованій ділянці поступово зростає, збільшуючись до кінця другого тижня вдвічі у порівнянні з нормою. Впродовж третього тижня після нанесення травми досліджуваний показник знижується, але залишається дещо вищим, ніж у інтактних тварин. Серед досліджуваних макроелементів найбільша питома частка належить кальцію, дещо менша фосфору, найменшими є питомі частки натрію та магнію. Серед досліджуваних мікроелементів найбільша частка належить калію. Питома частка заліза була дещо меншою, а найменшими були частки стронцію та цинку. Абсолютні показники вмісту досліджуваних макро- та мікроелементів мають виражену динаміку, характерну для кожного елемента. Підсумок. Серед всіх досліджуваних мінеральних елементів впродовж посттравматичного періоду тільки фосфор має динаміку, подібну до динаміки щільності кісткової тканини.

In general, the modern literature pays attention to the issues of spine pathology and intervertebral discs. A significant percentage of vertebral disorders - scoliosis, osteochondrosis, spinal disc herniation, etc., occur as a result of exposure to various factors and manifest in changes of the intervertebral discs. The aim of our work was to study at the ultrastructural level the features of pathomorphological manifestations in the structural components of the intervertebral disc at the end of the seventh and fourteenth days of experimental opioid exposure. Materials and methods of research. The objects of the study were 32 sexually mature, white, male rats, weighing 92 - 103 g, aged 4.5 months. Animals were injected with nalbupine intramuscularly once daily (at 10-11 a.m.) for 14 days. The initial dose of nalbuphine was 8 mg/kg during the first week, 15 mg/kg during the second week. It created the conditions of chronic opioid exposure. Before sampling, the animals were withdrawn from the experiment using dibutyl ether. Intervertebral discs of rats were used as a material for ultrastructural study. Ultrastructural specimens were prepared according to the accepted methods. The results of the study. As a result of the sampling after 7 days of opioid exposure we found inhomogeneous osmiophilicity and compaction of the nucleus pulposus matrix in which intensively accumulated osmiophilic grains of glycogen proteoglycans, increased the number of collagen fibers, some of them were heterogeneous. It was also noted the development of moderate degenerative changes in some notochondral cells, which was accompanied by increased vacuolization of the cytoplasm by inhomogeneous compaction of the nucleus and an increase of heterochromatin there. After 14 days necrotic changes in the cells of the nucleus pulposus, as well as the destruction of collagen fibers of the annulus fibrosus were found. In particular, an increase in the amount of heterochromatin in the nucleui of notochondral cells, which was accompanied by a decrease in the volume of the nucleui and inhomogeneous swelling of the cytoplasm. Active fibroblasts were often visualized in the annulus fibrosus. Intense osmiophilicity and thickening of collagen fibers of the annulus fibrosus were observed in some areas of the fibrous ring. Focal destruction of collagen fibers was also noted. In the areas of destruction the fibrils of collagen fibers disintegrated into an inhomogeneous fine-grained stratified mass and were located loosely. Conclusions. At the end of the first week we found that the cytoplasmic processes of chondrocytes decreased in volume, shortened, underwent fragmentation and destruction, some of them detached from the surface of the plasmolemma. At the end of the second week signs of opioid exposure progressed and manifested by an increase in the destruction of cytoplasmic processes in chondrocytes. Also focal destruction of collagen fibers was noted.
