Intracholecystic Papillary Neoplasm (ICPN) is a recently described, rare, mass forming, epithelial neoplasm originating in the mucosa of the gall bladder. It usually protrudes in the lumen and is generally non invasive, but may show dysplastic changes which may be low-grade or high-grade or may be associated with invasive carcinoma. Authors, hereby, describe a case of ICPN in a 57-year-old female patient who reported to Surgery Outpatient Department (OPD) with the chief complaint of pain in abdomen since last five days. On ultrasonography, gall stones were detected for which she underwent cholecystectomy. Histopathological Examination (HPE) revealed a papillary growth in the body of gall bladder measuring 1.0 cm in diameter. Sections from the growth showed back-to-back arranged glands exhibiting a papillary pattern. The glands were lined by columnar epithelium with basally located nuclei. Pyloric metaplasia was noted focally. No foci of invasion were seen. Papillary hyperplasia was noted in adjacent areas along with features consistent with chronic cholecystitis. Thus, a diagnosis of ICPN with low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia was made. The patient recovered well postsurgery and is on regular follow-up.

Extraskeletal soft tissue chondroma is a rare benign neoplasm predominantly composed of mature hyaline cartilage. It develops in the soft tissues without any connection to bone cortex, intra-articular synovium, or periosteum. It could have atypical features both radiological and histopathological simulating malignant tumors. We herein report 5 cases of soft tissue chondromas with their histopathological and radiological features and review the literature.

Folliculosebaceous Cystic Hamartoma (FSCH) is an uncommon cutaneous hamartomatous lesion. It is basically a tumour like malformations exhibiting abnormal overgrowth of biphasic elements i.e., epithelial and mesenchymal components that are normally found in the skin. Few other hamartomas of pilosebaceous origin are trichofolliculoma, trichodiscoma, fibrofolliculoma and pilar sheath acanthoma. Though distinct, this entity shares similar histological features to Sebaceous Trichofolliculoma (STF). Hence, a proper histological examination is must in differentiating it from STF and other clinical and histological entities. Authors hereby, describes a case of FSCH in a 37-year-old male who presented with a slow growing cystic mass on his left earlobe, an uncommon location for such lesion. The mass was excised, and a detailed histological evaluation showed a characteristic multinodular growth pattern with lobules of pilosebaceous glands forming nodules around cystically dilated follicular infundibular structures. No hair shafts were seen in the cystic cavity ruling out differential diagnosis of sebaceous hyperplasia which could have been a close mimic. The intervening stroma revealed dense collagen, sheets and lobules of adipocytes, many vascular channels filled with fibrinous deposits. Perivascular adipocytes were also noted along with few nerve tissues (perineurium). A detailed clinicopathological work-up helped in arriving at a final diagnosis of FSCH with neural component. The patient was doing well till last six months of follow-up. No recurrence of similar lesion was noted in the patient.

Osteoma cutis is a rare, benign condition characterised by dermal or subcutaneous bone formation that presents as stony hard nodules. The disease is classified into primary and secondary forms. Primary Osteoma Cutis (POC) is not associated with any predisposing conditions, whereas Secondary Osteoma Cutis (SOC) occurs as a result of metabolic conditions that lead to an increase in blood calcium levels. Here, author present a case of a 21-year-old girl having multiple tiny stony hard nodules on the right wrist and hand. Syndromic association was ruled out by obtaining a thorough clinical history, accompanied by physical examination and search for laboratory signs of pseudohypoparathyroidism. This ultimately led to a more accurate diagnosis of isolated primary osteoma cutis, a very rare condition reported in the literature.
