This paper examines the intricate task of translating the Divine Names attributed to Allah's act of creation within the Holy Qur'an. The study focuses on six specific Divine names, exploring their meanings and interpretations in Arabic, and scrutinising their translations in three wellknown English translations of the Qur'an by Yusuf Ali, Pickthall and Sahih International. The analysis reveals that while these names may appear synonymous, they actually denote distinct aspects of the Divine Act of Creation. The paper highlights the challenges translators face in faithfully conveying the profound depth and richness of these Divine names' meanings, given their unique attributes. The study underscores the complexity inherent in accurately conveying the comprehensive meaning of the Divine Names of Allah in Translation, emphasising the indispensable role of supplementary elucidatory mechanisms in bridging the gap between the Divine Names and their adaptations in translations. The discourse on Malayalam Text-to-Speech (TTS) Conversion emphasizes its crucial role as an assistive tool for the visually impaired, addressing the challenges they face in accessing printed and digital content. By enabling synthesized speech, Malayalam TTS technology enhances accessibility and inclusivity, allowing visually impaired individuals to engage with digital content independently. The flexibility of Malayalam TTS, including language preference and pacing options, facilitates efficient information consumption for users. Its applications in education and professional environments illustrate its role in levelling the playing field for visually impaired individuals. However, challenges such as adoption and usability persist, necessitating improvements in TTS quality and compatibility, alongside efforts to promote accessibility standards. Ultimately, Malayalam TTS serves as a means of empowerment, providing equitable access to information and fostering personal and professional development for the visually impaired community. In this study, we synthesized the visible-light-driven photocatalytic activity of CdO nanowires and g-C3N4/CdO hybrid nanostructure by the hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectrometry, and UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy studies were carried out to compare the structural, morphological, and optical properties of CdO nanowires and g-C3N4/CdO hybrid nanostructure. Also, we investigated how CdO nanowires and g-C3N4/CdO hybrid nanostructure function as photocatalysts in the photocatalytic oxidation of RhB under visible light illumination, which revealed that g-C3N4/CdO hybrid nanostructure exhibits better photocatalytic oxidation on RhB than CdO nanowires with the first-order degradation kinetics. The prepared g-C3N4/CdO hybrid nanostructure can provide hybridized conduction band or valence band, which facilitates better charge transport and reduces recombination electron-hole charge carriers leading to higher photocatalytic performance. Hence, making hybrid nanostructures such as g-C3N4/CdO can be a potential approach to develop effective photocatalysts for treating effluents discharged from textile and dyeing industries. The effect of g-C3N4 on the structural, optical, and photocatalytic properties of ZnO microcrystals under hydrothermal conditions was investigated in this research. The addition of g-C3N4 changed not only the phase composition, but also affect the growth of ZnO crystals, changing the lattice parameter and the transformation of hexagonal cylinder-like twinned ZnO microcrystals (1–2 μm length and 0.5–1 μm diameter) to g-C3N4 amalgamated rice-like ZnO nanostructure (500 nm length and 100 diameter) with type II heterojunction. The optical bandgap was found to be 3.27 and 3.21 eV for pristine ZnO and g-C3N4@ZnO, respectively. Owing to the narrow bandgap (2.7 eV) of g-C3N4, a red shift towards the visible region in optical absorption and a substantial reduction in the optical bandgap was observed for g-C3N4@ZnO heterostructure. Besides, it is also found that g-C3N4@ZnO has significantly higher photocatalytic effect (93 %) on RhB dye degradation than pristine ZnO (70 %) and g-C3N4 (68 %), because it produce a large number of reactive species (·OH and O2•− radicals) by hold-up the recombination of charge carriers via type II heterojunction. There have always been debates on how to teach, what to teach and when to teach what. Over time, teaching methods have frequently been revisited and updated. Recently, with the advent of computer technology, there emerged some new teaching methodologies like corpus-based learning (also called Data-Driven Learning (DDL)) and computer-assisted language learning (CALL). This means that the practices and the attitudes towards English teaching need to be updated, too. This is not, however, the case in English classes in MENA countries where teachers predominantly use the traditional methods of teaching. Consequently, recent reports have shown that MENA countries have the very lowest proficiency in English language in the world. This paper introduces corpus linguistics and corpus-based learning to the MENA English classrooms in order to improve the English language learning process and make, for the time being, a balance between traditional and modern teaching methods. This balance can be realized in incorporating inductive learning with ductive learning one the one hand, and student-centered classes and teacher-centered classes on the other. In order to showcase the advantages of using corpus-based method in the language classroom, corpus-based materials and concordances are designed using the Sketch Engine and the Brown corpus. A facile approach for the synthesis of La2CuO4, CeO2, La2CuO4/CeO2 and novel La2CuO4/CeO2/rGO hybrid nanocomposites were demonstrated via solvothermal assisted homogeneous precipitation method. The surface morphology, phase and crystal structure of the synthesized materials were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), High resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The photocatalytic performance to oxidize a target pollutant RB160 dye and inactivation of bacteria in aqueous solution was investigated under the illumination of visible light. Absorption range and band gap energy were investigated by UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS). The combination of rGO with La2CuO4/CeO2 nanocomposites leads to a better photocatalytic activity than other bare synthesized materials. Typically, 10 mg/l of RB160 could be almost completely oxidized in 150 min and 0.01 g/l of La2CuO4/CeO2/rGO, exhibiting a promising application of the photocatalyst in the degradation of aqueous organic pollutants. The efficiency of RB160 decomposition increased with increasing pH (5-11) and catalyst dosage (0.01-0.03 g/l), but it gets decreased with increasing initial RB160 concentration (10-30 mg/l) and from that the optimum condition for the better photocatalytic performance was identified. Furthermore, the antibacterial activity of La2CuO4/CeO2/rGO hybrid nanocomposite was also investigated by using two different bacteria in typical aqueous medium and the results were showed highly efficient visible light driven photocatalytic antibacterial activity. The enhanced photocatalytic and antibacterial activity of La2CuO4/CeO2/rGO is promising for the further application of visible light driven photocatalyst in polluted water treatment. A series of Pb doped CeO2 nanocubes with seven different Pb loadings (2–12 mol%) were synthesized via modified hydrothermal technique. The prepared samples were characterized by XRD, XPS, FT-IR, TGA, SEM, HR-TEM, EDS and UV–Vis DRS analysis. According to XRD analysis, the crystalline structure of synthesized pure CeO2 and Pb-doped CeO2 samples are cubic structure. The ceria nanocubes showed an increase in amount of oxygen vacancies with increasing the dopant concentrations. When the doping level of Pb is 6 mol%, the optical band gap of Pb-CeO2 is smaller than that of pure CeO2 nanocubes. The HR-TEM results confirms the cubic structure of 6% Pb-CeO2 with average crystallite size of about 15 nm. The photocatalytic ability of Pb-CeO2 catalysts were studied by degrading several anionic and cationic organic pollutants like methylene blue (MB), methylene orange (MO), methylene red (MR), rhodamine B (RhB), reactive blue 160 (RB160), salicylic acid (SA), coumarin and phenol. The 6% Pb-CeO2 nanocubes shows better photocatalytic performance against anionic dyes especially for MB. To find the optimum condition for better photocatalytic performance of 6% Pb-CeO2 nanocubes, the photocatalytic process was conducted in different initial reaction conditions like reaction temperature, catalytic dosage, dye concentration and pH of the reaction solution. The stability and recyclability of 6% Pb-CeO2 photocatalyst was studied by XRD, FT-IR and EDS analysis after 5 cycles of MB degradation. The hydroxyl radical estimation and trapping experiments were conducted to observe the photocatalytic mechanism process in 6% Pb-CeO2 nanocubes. The perfect doping concentration for better organic pollutant degradation by Pb-CeO2 is found to be 6 mol% of Pb. The development and study of Na ion batteries are expanding. This study employs the hydrothermal technique to produce single-phase, well-crystallized, fluorine-added O3-type NaFe1-xMgxO2. Using XRD, FESEM, and HRTEM, the sample’s phase structure and morphological information were characterized. Initially, without adding fluorine the electrode suffers from poor stability at high voltage ranges and also during long-term cycling. So, fluorine was added to the structure and the electrochemical performance of the material was greatly increased. The electrochemical performance of O3-type positive electrode materials for rechargeable Na ion batteries is evaluated. The capacity of fluorine-added O3-type NaFe1-xMgxO2 is approximately 163 mAh g−1 (50 mA g−1). Adding fluorine to the host structure increases the stability of the electrode, leading to improved electrochemical performance during long-term cycling. The electrochemical results indicate that fluorine-added O3-type NaFe1-xMgxO2 cathode material for cost-effective and environmentally friendly sodium-ion batteries is promising. Atmospheric pollution has become a critical problem for modern society; therefore, the research in this area continually aims to develop a high-performance gas sensor for health care and environmental safety. Researchers have made a significant contribution in this field by developing highly sensitive sensor-based novel selective materials. The aim of this article is to review recent developments and progress in the selective and sensitive detection of environmentally toxic gases. Different classifications of gas sensor devices are discussed based on their structure, the materials used, and their properties. The mechanisms of the sensing devices, identified by measuring the change in physical property using adsorption/desorption processes as well as chemical reactions on the gas-sensitive material surface, are also discussed. Additionally, the article presents a comprehensive review of the different morphologies and dimensions of mixed heterostructure, multilayered heterostructure, composite, core-shell, hollow heterostructure, and decorated heterostructure, which tune the gas-sensing properties towards hazardous gases. The article investigates in detail the growth and interface properties, concentrating on the material configurations that could be employed to prepare nanomaterials for commercial gas-sensing devices.

In the present work, multi-objective optimization of the input welding parameters influencing the quality of weld joint of AA 5052 H32 aluminium alloy by FSW process is investigated using response surface methodology and grey relational analysis. The quality of the welded joint is measured based on the higher value of tensile strength and hardness of the joint obtained by experimentation. A central composite design technique consists of 31 sets of experiments using four factors and five levels are used. Tool pin profile, rotational speed, welding speed, and tool tilt angle are selected as the significant input parameters. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used to analyze the effect of each input welding parameters on the output responses. Statistical results show that the developed regression model is adequate. Optimum levels of welding parameters are finally identified using grey relation grade. Grain structure of the welded joint is examined by observing the micro and macro structures of the weld.

The present study aims to assess the genetic and multivariate component analysis of processing traits, yield traits, weevil resistance and other tuber traits in sweet potatoes based on the evaluation of 12 genotypes, including checks for yield and processing. Significant variability for tuber physical, processing and vine traits was observed. Nearly 75% of the genotypes had dry matter content (>30%), 50% had starch content (>20%), and none was resistant to sweet potato weevils. High genotypic and phenotypic variation, heritability and genetic advance were observed for tuber yield, tuber girth, total sugar and weight. Among the 13 phenotypic traits used in the present study, multivariate analysis identified only eight, contributing to 83.67% of the variation. UPGMA clustering yielded two major clusters and five sub-clusters. S27, Palakkad local, Trivandrum local, Sree Arun, S346, S27, Indira Madhur, EC 321693 and S444 were found suitable for processing. These genotypes can serve as breeding material for developing high-yielding varieties, thereby promoting the industrial utilization of sweet potatoes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

An eco-friendly ternary CeO 2 /SnO 2 /rGO (CSG) nanostructured photocatalyst was successfully synthesized via hydrothermal process. The nanocomposites material was characterized various analytical techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The synthesized CSG nanocomposites were used to remove methylene blue (MB) as a model organic pollution under solar light irradiation. The MB removal efficiency of CSG was found 95% for 90 min, which is showing synergy between binary composites CeO 2 /rGO and SnO 2 /rGO. The enhanced photocatalytic system is described in terms of increased light absorption intensity, reduced bandgap which enable the electron transfer, scavengers of the reactive species and prolonged photogenerated charge carriers. Also, this material was used to remove heavy metal ions (Pb 2+ and Cd 2+ ) in wastewater via batch equilibrium method have been studied. Unexpectedly, CSG nanocomposites was used photocatalyst against bacterial growth (gram-negative E. coli and gram-positive S. aureus ) in aqueous solution. Diabetic retinopathy is a secondary microvascular complication of diabetes mellitus. This disease progresses from two stages, non-proliferative and proliferative diabetic retinopathy, the latter characterized by retinal abnormal angiogenesis. Pharmacological management of retinal angiogenesis employs expensive and invasive intravitreal injections of biologic drugs (anti-vascular endothelial growth factor agents). To search small molecules able to act as anti-angiogenic agents, we focused our study on axitinib, which is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor and represents the second line treatment for renal cell carcinoma. Axitinib is an inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors, and among the others tyrosine kinase inhibitors (sunitinib and sorafenib) is the most selective towards vascular endothelial growth factor receptors 1 and 2. Besides the well-known anti-angiogenic and immune-modulatory functions, we hereby explored the polypharmacological profile of axitinib, through a bioinformatic/molecular modeling approach and in vitro models of diabetic retinopathy. We showed the anti-angiogenic activity of axitinib in two different in vitro models of diabetic retinopathy, by challenging retinal endothelial cells with high glucose concentration (fluctuating and non-fluctuating). We found that axitinib, along with inhibition of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors 1 (1.82 ± 0.10; 0.54 ± 0.13, phosphorylated protein levels in fluctuating high glucose vs . axitinib 1 µM, respectively) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptors 2 (2.38 ± 0.21; 0.98 ± 0.20, phosphorylated protein levels in fluctuating high glucose vs . axitinib 1 µM, respectively), was able to significantly reduce ( p < 0.05) the expression of Nrf2 (1.43 ± 0.04; 0.85 ± 0.01, protein levels in fluctuating high glucose vs . axitinib 1 µM, respectively) in retinal endothelial cells exposed to high glucose, through predicted Keap1 interaction and activation of melanocortin receptor 1. Furthermore, axitinib treatment significantly ( p < 0.05) decreased reactive oxygen species production (0.90 ± 0.10; 0.44 ± 0.06, fluorescence units in high glucose vs . axitinib 1 µM, respectively) and inhibited ERK pathway (1.64 ± 0.09; 0.73 ± 0.06, phosphorylated protein levels in fluctuating high glucose vs . axitinib 1 µM, respectively) in HRECs exposed to high glucose. Pharmaceutical contaminations in the water resources becomes very serious global environmental issue. Therefore, these pharmaceutical molecules should be removed from the water resources. In the current work, 3D/3D/2D-Co 3 O 4 /TiO 2 /rGO nanostructures were synthesized through a facile self-assembly-assisted solvothermal method for an effective removal of pharmaceutical contaminations. The nanocomposite was finely optimized through the response surface methodology (RSM) technique with different initial reaction parameters and different molar ratios. Various characterization techniques were used to understand the physical and chemical properties of 3D/3D/2D heterojunction and its photocatalytic performance. The degradation performance of ternary nanostructure was rapidly increased owing formation of 3D/3D/2D heterojunction nanochannels. The 2D-rGO nanosheets play an essential role in trapping photoexcited charge carriers to reduce the recombination process rapidly as confirmed by photoluminescence analysis. Tetracycline and ibuprofen were used as model carcinogen molecules to examine the degradation efficiency of Co 3 O 4 /TiO 2 /rGO under visible light irradiation using halogen lamp. The intermediates produced during the degradation process were studied using LC-TOF/MS analysis. The pharmaceutical molecules tetracycline and ibuprofen follows pseudo first order kinetics model. The photodegradation results show that the 6:4 M ratio of Co 3 O 4 :TiO 2 with 5% rGO exhibits 12.4 times and 12.3 higher degradation ability than pristine Co 3 O 4 nanostructures against tetracycline and ibuprofen, respectively.
