Abstract

Background Marital status is one of the socio-economic factors associated with health. Several studies have indicated a significant association between marital status and insomnia. The increases in the percentages of unmarried people in Japan are expected to produce a significant impact on insomnia. The purpose of this study was to examine the association between marital status and insomnia. Methods The participants were 35 288 people aged 30–59 years selected from the 2010 comprehensive survey of living conditions. We categorized marital status into five groups: single, married couples living with other family members, married couples living without other family members, widowed and divorced. Insomnia-related symptoms (IRS) were based on the participants who chose the answer, 'I couldn't sleep'. Sex-specific multivariable odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) of IRS according to marital status were calculated using the logistic regression model, which was adjusted for potential confounding factors. Results The proportions of people with IRS were 2.5% in men and 2.8% in women. The multivariable ORs (95% CI) were 1.15 (0.89–1.49) for single, 1.69 (1.11–2.58) for divorced and 1.01 (0.73–1.39) for married couples living without other family members in men, and 1.56 (1.20–2.03) for single, 2.43 (1.83–3.22) for divorced and 1.31 (1.01–1.71) for married couples living without other family members in women. Conclusions We found divorced men and single, divorced and married women living without other family members had higher IRS than those who were married couples living with other family members in Japanese. Abstract

平成23（2011）年3月11日に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震の本震発生直後より，飛騨山脈南部の焼岳から乗鞍岳の周辺で顕著な地震活動の活発化がみられた。この活動は本震の発生後約10分以内に始まり，約一カ月間継続した。活動の初期には，焼岳北方と焼岳・乗鞍岳間の2か所に活動の中心があったが，後者は3月20日頃までに鎮静化し，前者の活動は4月初旬まで継続した。焼岳北方約3kmの地点で，3月11日14時57分にMjma4.7，3月21日13時15分にMjma4.8の地震が発生するなど，2個のM>4.5の地震を含む活発な地震活動がみられた。焼岳北方の地震の発震機構解は，本地域の広域応力場である北西―南東圧縮の場を示しており，過去の研究と整合的である。また，解析期間に限れば，マグマ貫入等があれば発現する可能性のある，応力場の局所的な擾乱による発震機構解の時間的な変化は見られなかった。, Seismic activity near the Yake-dake volcano in the Hida mountain range that took place immediate after the 2011 off the Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake was investigated. It initiated about ten minutes after the mainshock of the Tohoku earthquake and lasted for about one month. At the beginning, two active swarms were observed. One is at the northern flank of the Yake-dake volcano and the other is located between Yake-dake and Mt. Norikura volcanoes. The latter activity decreased by March 20, and the former activity lasted until early April. It includes two M>4.5 earthquakes at about 3km north of the Yake-dake volcano. Focal mechanism solutions of these swarm earthquake show NW-SE compression stress field, which coincides with regional stress field indicated by previous studies. No temporal changes of focal mechanisms are shown during March and April, which probably indicates no magmatic activity related to the Yake-dake volcano took place in this time period.

Abstract

福井県及び周辺は, 濃尾地震(1981, M8.0)や福井地震(1948, M7.1)に代表される内陸型地震の発生が認められる地域で、現在でも余震活動や断層に沿う線状の地震活動が存在する。その中で地震の発生が少ない地域も存在する。帯状に地震の発生が認められる中にある低活動域(以下空白域という)として, 特に鯖江市付近を中心とする地域が顕著である。この周辺では地殻内の地震発生の下限が最も浅くなり, また, 空白域の東西で主圧力軸の向きが変化していることが分かったので, 詳しく報告する。, Hokuriku Observatory, D. P. R. I., Kyoto University has been studying the seismicity in and around the Fukui Prefecture since 1976. One of the most distinct characters of seismicity is the clear seismic gap in Sabae City. The Sabae fault ( an active fault ) is in the center part of this seismic gap. Directions of P-axis for the earthquakes occurred around the seismic gap differ east side to west side. To study the physics of seismic gap acquires greater importance for disaster prevention in Fukui Prefecture.

防災研究所での研究成果は，防災研究所の刊行物，研究集会や学会において，一般社会に発信されてはいるものの，研究成果の登録や発信が効率よく行われるよう，統合的に整備されている環境であるとは言い難い。つまり，研究成果が集約・整備された形で登録・配信されることは、研究者間との情報共有や防災教育，調査・研究を進めることは重要なことであると考えられる。本稿では，研究者自身が簡単に研究成果物を登録することができ，かつ登録後，様々な配信・検索手法を用いてユーザが求める情報を適切に効率よく利用できる環境を構築するため，次世代に向けた防災情報検索システムについて提案する。, At DPRI, many research achievements of disaster prevention research have been stored. However, it is hardly adequate that a sufficient number of the research achievements is compiled from the database and delivered. Accordingly, it is important that the achievements organized is registered in database and delivered. Because the researcher can share the intelligence and information of the disaster prevention well by the research achievements. And the research achievements become an important source in advancing the disaster prevention education and the investigation and the research. In this paper, we propose the following system. The system is that easily it is possible to register the achievements. And user can use it easily, which is provided by the researcher, with a variety of retrieval.

Abstract

福井県は, 1948年に福井地震(M7.1)を被り, 近代における最初の都市直下型地震の震災を経験した県である。余震活動も顕著に認められていたが, 2003年末より直上で有感をもたらす地震の発生が, 余震域で認められなくなった。このことは, 福井地方気象台の報告書でもふれられている。同時に奥越を除く嶺北地域で, 地震の発生数の減少が指摘されている。2007年12月21日にM4.5が鯖江市東部付近に発生したが, 2004年10月5日のM4.8とは推定断層面が直交関係になっていることが確認できた。M3クラス以上は, 嶺北地域では奥越付近のみに限定され, 応力に揺らぎが発生している可能性を指摘できる。, In and around the Fukui Prefecture, several large active faults exist and some destructive earthquakes occurred recently. These are very characteristics. Small and micro earthquakes occur along the large active fault. But now, earthquakes caused the felt area in Fukui Prefecture occur only at Okuetsu area in Reihoku region. Okuetsu area exists in the NKTZ. The b-value of Okuetsu area is relatively low against any other Reihoku region. On Dec. 21-th 2007, an earthquake with M4.5 occurred at the eastern part of Sabae City. We will explain these phenomena in detail.

Abstract

京都大学防災研究所地震予知研究センター北陸観測所は，1976年より北陸地域の微小地震活動を把握してきた。データの一元化により気象庁，Hi-netの情報を入れて現在解析を行っている。2003年の末あたりより，嶺北地域の地震発生数に減少傾向が伺えるようになった。また，奥越地域では顕著な変化は認められなかった。同時に，福井県内で発生する有感地震の分布が，奥越地域で顕著になった。奥越地域は，現在注目されている歪集中帯に位置し，最近の主要な地震のメカニズム解のp軸と集中帯の主圧力軸が一致している。このことはb値の解析結果とも一致し，奥越での地震活動の推移に注意する必要性を示しているのかも知れない。, In Reihoku region, several large active faults, for example Fukui Earthquake Fault, exist. Micro earthquakes occurred along the some active faults. In recently, small earthquakes which caused the intensities in Fukui Prefecture occurred at Okuetsu region and Kanmuridake area. Those earthquakes had about same p-axis and did not occur along the large active fault. We will study this phenomenon in detail. In this report, we explain the properties of those phenomena by fault plane solution, b-value and seismicity
