This article discusses the evolution of public notice laws and the role of technology in enhancing accessibility. Public notices are information alerting citizens of government or government-related activities that may require action. Traditionally, public notices were published in newspapers, but with the rise of the internet, some states are now allowing public notices to be published on news websites or government websites. However, there are concerns about the accessibility and verifiability of notices on the internet, as well as the potential for government officials to hide information. The article also highlights examples of public notice legislation in different states. [Extracted from the article]
