The knowledge graph based on research papers can accurately identify and present the latest developments in scientific and technological (S&T) innovation and is of great significance for supporting strategic decision-making relating to S&T innovation in undeveloped areas. Based on the international research papers produced in Gansu Province during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016–2020), five metrics, including the number and characteristics of papers, co-authors, main publications and their fields, major supporting institutions, and main research areas, are established herein. The results indicate that: (i) the total of 29,951 papers were published, which is about 2.89 times that in 2010–2015; (ii) Gansu Province collaborated with 149 countries/regions globally; (iii) the top 5 journals in terms of the number of papers were Medicine, Scientific Reports, RSC Advances, Science of the Total Environment, and Physical Reviews D; (iv) the funding sources were mainly from the national level; and (5) the top 5 research areas were chemistry, engineering, physics, material science, environmental science, and ecology, which accounted for 64.7% of all papers. Finally, the present study puts forward some recommendations for the decision-making process in the strategic layout of S&T innovation in Gansu Province. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper conducted a comparative analysis of the conference publications published by Chinese scholars from 2006 to 2019. The main results are as follows. First, the conference papers are unevenly distributed among the 31 provincial administrative regions. The annual number of conference papers published by scholars from different regions fluctuated during the study period. Second, there are different disciplinary distributions of China Proceedings of Conferences Full‐text Database (CPCD) papers and Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) papers, and the CPCI publications have a relatively centralized disciplinary distribution. Third, it is noteworthy that there are more CPCD papers than CPCI papers. Magnetotelluric (MT) and audio-magnetotelluric (AMT) studies are sensitive to the geothermal fluids filling the faults and/or fracture zones of the geothermal system. In India, MT/AMT studies have been carried out in NW Himalayas, central, eastern, and western India. In other areas, detailed MT/AMT studies need to be expedited. This review paper presents the art of geothermal exploration in India by using MT/AMT techniques and identifies potential zones that can be exploited for power generation and direct application. Improving green innovation efficiency (GIE) is the key to achieve high-quality economic development in China, and the introduction of foreign direct investment (FDI) has become an important path choice to promote the GIE. Based on the data of 30 provinces in China, this paper explores the linear and nonlinear effects of FDI on GIE from both quantity and quality perspectives, and further analyzes the mediating role of environmental regulation level. The results show that: (1) From 2011 to 2020, the GIE of all provinces in China generally shows an upward trend. (2) The quantity and quality of FDI have a significant positive impact on the improvement of GIE in China's provinces, and this impact has regional heterogeneity. (3) The quantity and quality of FDI can promote the improvement of GIE in China through the level of environmental regulation (ER). (4) With the level of knowledge accumulation and GIE as the threshold variables, the quantity and quality of FDI have a single threshold effect on the GIE of China's provinces. China eliminated rural poverty under current poverty standards in 2020. However, compared with rural poverty, urban poverty in China has been somewhat neglected. This paper aims to discover the changes and determinants of multidimensional urban poverty in Shandong Province, a representative province in Eastern China. Using a nationally representative panel dataset, the China Family Panel Studies, and the Dual Cutoff method, this study creates a multidimensional poverty index with four dimensions and 11 indicators to measure urban poverty in Shandong Province. This paper discovers that while the incidence of multidimensional urban poverty in Shandong Province decreased from 47.62% in 2010 to 36.45% in 2018, the intensity of multidimensional poverty only decreased from 41.27% to 37.25%, which indicates the inadequacy of urban anti-poverty efforts in Shandong Province. This paper also uses logistic regression to identify the determinants of multidimensional urban poverty. The findings suggest that income, health, drinking water, and durable goods are the main determinants of multidimensional urban poverty in Shandong Province. Tourism efficiency has become an important role in promoting tourism competitiveness and driving sustainable development. It is particularly important to identify and agnalyze the factors and mechanisms that affect efficiency. This paper firstly evaluates the tourism efficiency of 11 coastal provinces regions in China from 2010 to 2020 by using the DEA-BBC model that includes undesirable outputs. After that, it investigates the internal driving mechanism of the efficiency change through the Malmquist index and its decomposition. Finally, it analyzes the external influencing elements of tourist efficiency by the Tobit model. The results show that: (1) Although the average value of the tourism efficiency was changed from 0.727 to 0.707, it does not achieve the target. Its trend shows fluctuating from 2010–2020, which indicates that the tourism efficiency of most provincial regions is not optimal. The main factor that restricts tourism efficiency is scale efficiency. (2) By analyzing the dynamic trend, it is found that the average increase of technical efficiency is 14.0%, the average increase of technical change is 9.5%, and the average increase of MI index is 25.4%. It indicates that the overall tourism efficiency of 11 coastal provinces region in China is on the rise. (3) The spatial difference of tourism efficiency is significant, but there is no obvious spatial correlation. Since 2010, the Chinese government has developed several batches of low-carbon pilot provinces and cities continuously. And in the backdrop of carbon peak and carbon neutralisation recently, the carbon emission reduction policies and achievements of China have attracted more and more worldwide attention. In the field of human health, this paper investigates whether the Low-carbon Province Pilot Policy of China has positive effects on residents' health based on the micro data of China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) from 2010 to 2016. Using the time-varying difference-in-difference model to solve the endogeneity problem commonly faced in the literature, we find that Low-carbon Province Pilot Policy has a positive impact on public health through air quality improvement and the unemployment level alleviation mainly. And in urban areas, the policy effect is more obvious than that in rural regions. This paper expands the content of national low-carbon governance effects to residents' health further and contribute to China's low-carbon development. Specifically, it reminds us to focus on the dynamic adjustment and effective continuation of the policy, and also the all-round support for 'the disadvantaged' in environmental governance process. Based on the Office for National Statistics' delineation of the scope of the digital economy industry, this paper selects indicators from five industrial dimensions: digital product manufacturing, digital product service, digital technology application, digital factor drive and digital efficiency improvement, and constructs an evaluation system to measure the development level of China's digital economy at the provincial level. It is found that there is a wide gap in the development of China's provincial digital economy, with the eastern coastal provinces and cities having a high level of digital economy development. The coupling and coordination model was then applied to examine the interrelationships between the five industrial dimensions of the digital economy, and it was found that most of the coupling and coordination relationships of the five industrial dimensions are at the stage of medium-high coupling and low coupling and coordination, and each province and city has different coupling and coordination characteristics. The numerical evaluation results provide an intuitive understanding of the differences and deficiencies in the development of the digital economy in different regions, and serve as a reference for the medium and long-term digital economy development planning of provinces and municipalities as well as the whole country. In the future, the state should invest more in the digital economy in the central and western regions, and each province should cultivate and develop the digital economy in accordance with its own local conditions. The efficient exploitation of geothermal energy through enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) has been a relevant topic for hot dry rock (HDR) geothermal resources. When cryogenic fluid is injected into a thermal reservoir, improving heat exchange efficiency is key to achieving the optimal exploitation of HDR. In this paper, granite outcrops from Gonghe Basin were used as the testing sample. The natural fractures in the granite samples were relatively well developed. To simulate long-term injection and production from multi-wells in situ, physical experiments were performed in a newly-developed, in-house large-scale true triaxial experimental system. Geothermal extraction performance of an HDR was simulated for long-term injection and production operations. Simultaneously, the mode of one-injection and multiple-production wells was represented. In the paper, the effects of the production-injection well spacing, the number of production wells and the injection rate on the production temperature and flow rate are discussed. The results show that, during long-term injection and production, there are two stages of production temperature variation, namely stabilization and attenuation. When the number of the production wells is increased, the heat extraction efficiency is accelerated. Moreover, competitive diversion of fluid among fractures occurred due to different conductivities. Furthermore, under different production modes, the production flow rate contributed differently to the heat extraction. Finally, the effect of the production-injection wells spacing on the heat exchange performance was analyzed; this is mainly reflected in the change of the effective heat exchange area between the rock and the injected fluid. With the development of science and technology, the biometric market is developing rapidly. This paper analyzes the problems of the general rules of biometric technology, including the difficulty of information subjects participating in rule-making, the lack of provisions of general rules, and insufficient legal regulation. Drawing on the provisions of personal information related to biometrics in Europe and the United States and the protection of personal information related to biometrics in China, the paper suggests that biometric information protection should be improved and connected with the existing laws. The results show that the top three provinces in the number of cases based on biometric technology are Guangdong Province, Beijing Municipality and Jiangsu Province, with a total of 102 cases, accounting for 52.41% of the total number of cases, among which Guangdong Province tops the list with 75 cases in 10 years, far ahead of other provinces, indicating that the legal regulation of biometric technology is a pressing need. This research paper aims to study a type of geometric decorations that prevailed in all Islamic arts in Iran and some regions of Central Asia, especially Khorasan Province, from the 10th to the 13th G centuries. Then, it spread through the Islamic world and was found in the Ayyubid and Mamluk arts in Egypt and the arts of Morocco and Andalusia. The paper also explores the reasons for the emergence, relation to place, and symbolism of this decoration at the time. It highlights the origin of this decoration. The arts of the eastern area of the Islamic World experienced the prevalence of geometric decorations, including all types of knots on their products. The present paper explores the "knot of good luck" with its various forms known as decorative items in the ancient era and many cultures. It discusses this decoration's several names and symbolism. This paper investigates the intergovernmental transfer systems in South Africa, more specifically, the underlying determinants and formula of the unconditional grants of the education component of the Provincial Equitable Share (PES). The PES formula is a weighted shares formula that depends on the demographic shares of the provinces (population) to determine the equitable share outcomes to be transferred to individual provinces. We find that the variables used have two main weaknesses: Firstly, the enrolment variable, which could be contaminated with school repeats and dropouts, is too broad to be an effective measure for representing the real beneficiaries of the transfers. Secondly, infrequent updates about the school-age cohort population variables render the desired PES grant transfers for education outdated as well as serially inconsistent. The paper also provides an analysis of the PES formula's mathematical construct, followed by a few suggested variables to improve the relevance and accuracy of the formula of the revenue transfer. One such improvement is demonstrated by the inclusion of the Enrolment Survival Measure (ESR). More research and data are required to extrapolate nuanced results and to understand the socio-economic impacts of adopting these new variables in the PES formula going forward. Located in the Yangtze River Delta region, Jiangsu Province has become the major grain production area of China and plays an important role in ensuring national food security. With rapid economic development and urbanization, the amount of cultivated land has decreased, which greatly affects food security. Based on the statistical data of grain production in Jiangsu Province since 2000 and the remote sensing data of 2000, 2010, and 2020, this paper used the stochastic frontier production function to calculate the output elasticity of various factors and the technical efficiency of grain production. The agglomeration effect of food production was investigated by using spatial correlation analysis. Finally, regression analysis was applied to examine the impact of land use change on grain yield and the technical efficiency of production. The results show that the grain-sown area is the decisive factor for the increase in grain output in Jiangsu Province. The technical efficiency of grain production in the province has been maintained at a relatively high level since 2000, showing a fluctuating upward trend, and the efficiency value in southern Jiangsu Province is greater than that in central and northern Jiangsu. The analysis of the spatial distribution characteristics of grain production technical efficiency shows that grain production has an agglomeration effect. The regression results showed that the complexity of land use and the density of the cultivated land patch were negatively correlated with grain yield and grain production technical efficiency, while the location of cultivated land was positively correlated with grain yield and grain production technical efficiency. At present, China's equipment manufacturing industry and producer service industry are gradually ushered in the leapfrog high-quality development of the rising period. It is particularly important how Shanxi, as the vanguard of the transformation and development, positively responds to the national call to break the shackles of the current integrated development of equipment manufacturing and producer services, for Shanxi Province and even the country's future industrial integration, transformation, and upgrading to accumulate "Shanxi Experience." Therefore, this paper measures and analyzes the integration level of equipment manufacturing and production services between 2012 and 2017 using the input-output method. Then, by constructingthe model of the factors influencing the integration of Shanxi's equipment manufacturing industry and producer service industry, selecting the relevant indicators and bringing in the relevant data from 2009 to 2019, by using the principal component regression analysis method, and thus clarifies the main factors that influence the convergence of the equipment manufacturing industry and production service industry in Shanxi. The 2018-2023 legislature started with an autosubliminal show in South Kivu, a province of Congo-Kinshasa. The spectacle led to an unfavourable environment to significant impact work production on the provincial governance. Members of provincial Assembly, mainly those who regularly fell into disputes, lost opportunity to emerge as political or institutional actors with a development-axed target. Thus, this paper aimed at analysing these behaviours and practices to find out their effects on the governance in province. This study is then a functioning conceptualization of the SouthKivu provincial Assembly in interaction with the provincial government management for the progress of the province. It is based on quality features. The south-kivucentrist pathology conceptualization is the main innovant point of this study. It has widely explained the real living situation in South-Kivu during the 2018-2023 legislature with its consequences on the socioeconomic sector of this part of the country. Our results have shown that no governance that promotes socioeconomical area can emerge from that pathological situation. The obtained results have given a new explanation to the power or governance phenomenon of South-Kivu. This paper uses relevant mathematical statistical models to verify the interactive effect between population mobility and the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry based on the panel data of 43 counties in the Fujian province from 2007 to 2021. The results show that (1) the inflow areas of population flow in the Fujian province are mainly concentrated in the southeast region; (2) there is mutual promotion between population mobility and the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in the Fujian province, and the population mobility in adjacent areas has a significant promotion effect on the high-quality development of the local manufacturing industry; and (3) heterogeneity results show that after 2011, the interaction effect between population mobility and the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry has declined, and population inflow has a stronger role in promoting the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry than population outflow. The conclusions of this study are of great significance to the Fujian province for implementing a reasonable population policy and promoting the coordinated development of manufacturing enterprises. The Canadian Congenital Anomalies Surveillance Network was established in 2002 to address gaps in the national surveillance of congenital anomalies (CAs) and support the sustainability of high-quality, population-based, CA surveillance systems within provinces and territories. This article is based on a systematic analysis of the current situation of hydropower development and the degree of hydropower resource development and utilization in Liaoning Province, pointing out the problems, construction opportunities, advantages, and disadvantages faced by current hydropower development; Based on the relevant planning achievements of hydropower development in Liaoning Province for many years, this paper analyzes the planning situation of conventional hydropower stations and pumped storage power stations that can be constructed in the future in Liaoning Province; By analyzing specific cases of using upstream and downstream reservoirs to construct pumped storage power stations, suggestions for ensuring the development of hydropower in Liaoning Province are proposed, providing reference for the hydropower construction in Liaoning Province in the new era. The spatial correlation structure of provincial tourism economy development is an important factor to promote the overall tourism economy. This paper aims to construct the methodology of provincial tourism competitiveness evaluation system from the new perspective of networking. Firstly, by utilizing the panel data of 30 provinces from 2006 to 2019, the entropy method was developed to calculate the provincial tourism competitiveness. Then, the gravity model was introduced to the Social Network Analysis, and spatial correlation network and its characteristics of tourism competitiveness evaluation were elaborated. This paper reveals the spatial–temporal network evolution process of regional tourism competitiveness in China. Additionally, it provides a scientific basis for obtaining a deeper understanding of China's provincial tourism competitiveness and a theoretical basis for the government to formulate the future direction and differentiation policy of provincial tourism competitiveness. In the Midlands province of Zimbabwe, there are mainly three languages, Shona, Ndebele, and English that are used in schools although at home it is mainly Shona and Ndebele. Midlands lies right on the isogloss where Shona is predominant on one side and Ndebele on the other. The paper scrutinises how translanguaging as a method of teaching takes place in a situation where there are three languages at play but such languages are not at par. Shona and Ndebele are the learners' first languages where some learners are conversant with both and some with one of the two, and English is the main language of instruction. The paper also problematizes the idea of diglossia and that of a clearly defined isogloss in the Midlands province. Qualitative research approach guides all the methodological trajectories followed in this paper. Semi-structured interviews were the key data gathering tools from teachers in both peri-urban and the urban settings of the Midlands province capital, Gweru. The theory guiding this study is dynamic bilingualism. The results of the study revealed that in facilitating learning through translanguaging in a triglossic situation, teachers face challenges of balancing the languages and as a result code switching dominates the translanguaging process. It is therefore concluded that language inequalities in multilingual settings have negative impacts when it comes to translanguaging and negatively affects the learning process where other learners feel side lined on the grounds of their first language. Using the panel data of 31 provinces in China between 2000 and 2018, this study theoretically and empirically analyses the impact of environmental regulations on the adjustment of the agriculture industrial structure from the perspectives of rationalisation and optimisation. Overall, variability in the impact of environmental regulation on the adjustment of the agricultural industrial structure is identified: a negative influence on the rationalisation of agricultural industrial structure and a positive influence on the optimisation of agricultural industrial structure. The impact of environmental regulations on the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure also reflects "large country characteristics": environmental regulations are more significant at the medium and low industrial structure levels. Environmental regulation significantly impacts the rationalisation of agricultural industrial structure in central and western regions and its optimisation in eastern and central regions. Through the panel threshold model test, this paper further finds that the effect of environmental regulations on the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure is not invariant. The advancement of the sports industry's development constitutes a critical concern shared by regional authorities and the scholarly community, reflecting its significant role in economic and social development. This study employs a Fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) methodology to examine the 31 provincial-level administrative units in China. The objective is to elucidate the influence of technological, organizational, and environmental factors on the industry's development level, considering both a holistic national framework and dissected regional approaches (Eastern, Central, and Western China). This paper's contribution to the literature is structured around the following core findings: (1) The study establishes that a singular condition does not suffice as an essential prerequisite for achieving a heightened development state within the sports industry. (2) At the national level, there are three pathways to enhance the development level of the sports industry, specifically identified as "network-human resources dominant pathway," "technological innovation-human resources dominant pathway," and "comprehensive synergistic pathway."(3) From a regional perspective, the Eastern region has two pathways for sports industry enhancement: "network-economic pathway" and "comprehensive synergistic pathway." The Central region follows a "technology pathway," while the Western region has three pathways: "organization-environment pathway," "network-organization-environment pathway," and "organization pathway."(4) The synthesis of these findings underscores the multifactorial nature of sports industry development, suggesting a paradigm where diverse routes can lead to equivalent outcomes. Traditional settlements are vital carriers of Chinese history and culture, reflecting the direct and original needs of generations. However, the modernization of settlements will inevitably disrupt the spontaneous growth patterns inherent in traditional settlements. The degree of disorder of the settlement is not only the embodiment of its form, but also the concrete manifestation of its construction intention. We use the degree of disorder in settlements to assess the construction intentions of the settlements, the results allow us to assess whether new planning aligns with the original construction logic, thereby assessing the extent of interference by modernization in traditional villages. This can provide guidance and assistance for settlement conservation and future planning. By using the Delaunay triangulation network, street polar histogram and direction entropy, and comprehensibility of settlements, this paper quantitatively analyzes the degree of disorder in the three levels of architecture, street and local environment of the settlement. Liangjia Village, the example in this research, is divided into three areas—two new and one old. degree of disorders in architecture, streets, and local environment are calculated and compared with the overall settlement. The study finds that the construction logic for buildings and streets remains stable throughout development. However, notable differences exist in environmental construction principles between new and old sections. The analysis suggests that traditional settlements, guided by inherent principles, maintain stability under external influences, serving as a benchmark for future planning and modernization decisions. China is actively heeding the call and striving for a low-carbon and environmentally friendly development route as part of the general trend toward a global low-carbon economy. The rapid economic development of our nation has brought to light the issue of carbon emissions resulting from the consumption habits of residents. This paper delves into the topic by conducting a thorough analysis of the carbon emission of residents' consumption using the input-output method. Based on the survey findings, the disparity in carbon emission between urban and rural communities in Shandong Province is evident not only in terms of total emissions but also in different categories and regions. Urban residents generate a total carbon emission of approximately 70.2921 million tons, which is three times higher than that of rural residents at 23.7846 million tons. The carbon emission of both urban and rural residents is primarily attributed to their embodied carbon emission. In examining the composition of the implied carbon emission of residents' consumption in Shandong Province, urban residents' carbon emission is concentrated in three areas, namely, food, culture, education, entertainment, transportation, and communication, accounting for 21.45%, 20.88%, and 15.10%, respectively. Conversely, rural residents' carbon emission is concentrated in four areas, including clothing, food, culture, education, entertainment, transportation, and communication, accounting for 29.01%, 17.45%, 15.43%, and 13.36%, respectively. Finally, according to the characteristics of the consumption carbon emission of urban and rural residents in Shandong Province, we give corresponding emission reduction strategies. Extreme precipitation usually cause grievous losses&casualties, which varies greatly under different scenarios. This paper took Henan province as an example, it innovatively constructed three different extreme precipitation scenarios and built indicators system of social vulnerability from exposure, sensitivity and resilience based on MOVE framework. Social Vulnerability Indexs(SoVI) were then calculated by mathematical models under three different reoccurrence intervals. The results show that SoVI was low in the west and high in the north. High SoVI areas expanded to the middle and south as recurrence intervals increased. SoVI in each area of Henan province increased along with the recurrence intervals at different growth rates. The larger the recurrence interval was, the faster the SoVI increased. The results indicate SoVI is greatly affected by disaster levels, which need to be incorporated into social vulnerability. Guizhou Province is one of the main producing areas of Camellia oleifera in China. In recent years, the area of newly planted C. oleifera forest has been expanding, which led to a larger yield potential in Guizhou Province. This paper combeded the main problems of camellia processing industry development in Guizhou Province, including a lack of scale production, basic research and deep processing technology, as sell as a lack of powerful brands and quality management system. It foucused on discussion of processing industry, and pointed out keys to healthy develop Guizhou camellia processing industry. In addition, it also put forward suggestions and countermeasures for development of camellia processing industry in Guizhou from 6 aspects: promoting the transformation and upgrading of camellia processing, extending the industrial chain of camellia processing, encouraging the diversified development of industry, cultivating large and medium-sized camellia processing enterprises, implementing brand development strategy, building scientific research platform, accelerating technological innovation and upgrading, and improving product quality standard system, in order to promote healthy and rapid development of camellia processing industry in Guizhou Province. Under the influence of development strategies with regard to national fitness and health in China, the interactive development between national fitness and national health is becoming increasingly strong. To explore the coupling and coordination relationship between national fitness and national health, this paper conducts an empirical analysis of the coupling and coordination relationship between national fitness and national health in 11 provinces and cities in Eastern China using the entropy weight method, a coupling coordination model, spatial visualization of the coupling coordination degree and spatial autocorrelation analysis. The research confirms that the comprehensive development level of national fitness and national health in Eastern China shows a steady upward trend, with a lag in national fitness as a whole, and that the growth rate of national fitness development is faster than that of national health development. The coupling coordination degree of the two systems of national fitness and national health in Eastern China shows a slow upward trend, and the coupling coordination degree rises from barely coordinated to primary coordination. There are significant differences in the spatial pattern of coupling coordination: the spatial pattern from north to south generally shows 'low-high-high-low-high-low' characteristics, and the spatial spillover effect of coupling coordination in various regions has not yet appeared. The revised GM(1.1) prediction results indicate that the level and improvement rate of coupling coordination will accelerate significantly in the next 10 years, but the spatial differences will still exist. Finally, suggestions are proposed to optimize the coupling and coordinated development of national fitness and national health based on policy guarantees as well as strengthening and cross-regional cooperation. The purpose of this study is to explore what are the determinant influencing factors of the dilemma faced by state‐owned enterprises (SOEs) in implementing innovation‐driven development strategy (IDDS), to propose a suitable localized theory. It also suggests specific actions to break the post‐effects dilemma with the support of this theory. Based on the innovation‐driven survey data of provincial SOEs in Gansu Province, this study adopts grounded theory to conduct exploratory research. This paper constructs a behavior process model of "pre‐motivation, innovation path, and post‐effects dilemma" to drive SOE's innovation and expounds on the incidence relation among the three. The results show that the external administrative force and institutional mechanism drive have both indirect and direct impacts on the innovation path choice of SOEs. The endogenous drive is distorted by external administrative force and institutional mechanism drive, leading to the limited innovation path choice and post‐effects dilemma. This paper puts forward the theory of "Attribute Imbalance–Weakened Autonomy–Sluggish Innovation" and explains why it is sometimes difficult to implement the IDDS of SOEs. However, there are some regional limitations in the application scenarios of the theory. Whether it has broader implications need to further explore. Future theoretical testing should be conducted with a sample of SOEs in developed market regions. It is possible to study the differences in the degree of government intervention in SOEs, the ways of intervention, and the impact of these differences on SOEs' balancing dual attribute conflicts. In response to a series of problems brought about by rapid economic development, such as global warming and the continuous deterioration of the ecological environment, China has taken the initiative to shoulder the responsibility of a major country and continued to contribute Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" at an early date. In this paper, Henan Province has been selected as the study area, and the changes in land use and carbon storage in Henan Province from 2000 to 2020 have been analyzed spatially and temporally. The PLUS model is used to predict future land use changes under different scenarios, and the InVEST model is used to estimate carbon storage under the corresponding scenarios. The results showed that (1) During 2000–2020, the farmland in Henan Province has been in a decreasing trend, grassland and construction land showed a decreasing trend and then an increasing trend, and woodland showed a decreasing trend. From 2000 to 2020, Henan's overall carbon storage showed a downward trend each year, with storage mainly in the western and southern regions of the province, with a spatial distribution of high storage in the west and low storage in the east. (2) Under the normal development scenario (SSP2-RCP4.5) from 2030 to 2050, the area of farmland and woodland basically showed a continuous downward trend, while construction land showed an upward trend annually, and farmland and construction land showed an increasing trend under the normal development scenario (SSP2-RCP4.5) and economic priority scenario (SSP5-RCP8.5). The decreasing trend of carbon storage was the smallest under the normal development scenario (SSP2-RCP4.5) and the ecological protection scenario (SSP1-RCP2.6). This paper aims to test whether agricultural insurance significantly impacts farmers' income increase or not. We have used the ordinary least squares method (OLS), panel fixed effects, and system generalized moment estimation (GMM) for the test. The results show that the increase in agricultural insurance density and the increase in agricultural insurance per capita compensation positively impact farmers' income growth significantly. Agricultural insurance density and per capita compensation are the indicators used in this article to measure agricultural insurance development. Therefore, it can be considered that the development of agricultural insurance in Guangdong Province (China) can effectively increase the income level of farmers. Based on the results of theoretical and empirical analysis, combined with the current situation of agricultural insurance development in Guangdong Province, this paper finally puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions. It provides some ideas for giving full play to the role of agricultural insurance in promoting farmers' income from the perspectives of pertinent system design, subsidy methods, insurance innovation, service level, and publicity. Bai Yuchan's Taoist thought is an important part of Taoist health-preserving thought. Excavating, sorting out, and translating Bai Yuchan's Taoist thought will not only help increase cultural self-confidence and protect traditional culture but also become an important medium for foreign exchanges. With the advent of the digital age, artificial intelligence has helped the dissemination of excellent traditional Chinese culture with its unique technological advantages, improving the effectiveness, intensity, and breadth of cultural dissemination. In domain machine translation, whether domain terms can be correctly translated plays a decisive role in the translation quality. It is of practical significance to effectively integrate domain terms into neural machine translation models and improve the translation quality of domain terms. This paper proposes a method of incorporating new Bai Yuchan's thought term information as prior knowledge into neural machine translation. Using the term dictionary constructed from Bai Yuchan's thought bilingual terminology knowledge base as a medium, two different knowledge integration methods are proposed and compared: (1) term replacement, which means using the target term to replace the source term on the source language side, and (2) term addition, which means splicing the source term and the target term on the source language side and both the source language side and the target language side. Use identifiers as special external knowledge to identify the beginning and end of the target term. Based on the Chinese-English bilingual alignment corpus of New Bai Yuchan's thoughts and the constructed Chinese-English alignment termbase, the experiments are carried out. The results show that on the test set, the BLEU value of the proposed method is 6.38 and 6.38 higher than the baseline experiments, respectively, which proves that the proposed method can effectively incorporate domain terminology knowledge into the translation model and improve the translation quality of domain terminology. With the rapid development of re‐electrification, traditional load forecasting faces a significant increase of influencing factors. Existing literature focuses on examining the influencing factors related to load profiles in order to improve the prediction accuracy. However, a large number of redundant features may lead to the overfitting of the forecasting engine. To enhance the performance of extreme learning machine (ELM) under massive data scale, this paper presents a kernel extreme learning machine (KELM) based method which can be used for short‐term load prediction. First, a feature dimensionality reduction is performed using a kernelized principal component analysis, which aims to eliminate redundant input vectors. Then, the hyperparameters of KELM are optimized to improve the prediction accuracy and generalization. Case studies based on a province‐level power system in China demonstrate that the presented method can significantly improve the accuracy of load forecasting by 3.14% in contrast to traditional ELM. As an important means of environmental regulation, environmental punishment lacks in empirical evidence on its impact on regional green technology innovation in China. Based on panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2020, this paper systematically examines the relationship between environmental punishment and regional green technology innovation. It is found that environmental punishment has the quantity and quality enhancing effects on regional green technology innovation, and the quantity enhancing effect is greater than the quality enhancing effect. There is no significant effect difference between monetary punishment and non monetary punishment on green technology innovation effect, but the effect of punishment on institutions is obviously greater than that of punishment on individuals. And the performance of ecological provinces and provinces with better legal environment is also relatively better. Environmental punishment enhances the quantity and quality of green technology innovation through pressure, and improves the quality of green technology innovation through deterrence. Besides, in China, deterrence promotes regional green technology innovation together with the Central Government's environmental protection inspection, the national green manufacturing strategies and other policies concerned. Each type of administrative unit, including cities, towns and villages, plays a different role in the regional economy. In the case of rural areas, their most important function is agricultural production. This paper offers a contribution to the discussion on the review of the agricultural development strategy for Lubuskie Province. It attempts to present selected characteristics of the agricultural sector in a cross-section of municipalities of Lubuskie Province against the background of the general features of the agricultural sector in the region. Its purpose is to draw the attention of regional authorities and institutions to the heterogeneity of agricultural development within its territory. The research was conducted using a principal component analysis as one of the methods of the graphical presentation of multivariate data. Data from the National Agricultural Census 2020 was used in the analysis. The results of the research corroborate the hypothesis of the existence of significant differences in the agricultural sector in the area of the examined rural and urban-rural municipalities in the region, and the need for differentiation of the measures used by the regional authorities to support agriculture in its territorial cross-section. The paper presents the results of a research on the heterogeneity of the development of the agricultural sector in the municipalities of the examined region. This paper offers an updated and current picture of the history of research carried out by scholars affiliated with Austrian universities and institutions on late antique caskets found in the territories of the provinces of Noricum and Pannonia. The central figure in this research was Helmut Buschhausen who, notably in his monograph on the subject, collected a large number of casket mounts found particularly in the Pannonian provinces. Starting with Buschhausen's research, this paper focuses on the evolution of studies carried out in Austria on late Roman caskets to define the status quaestionis , also in consideration of the research carried out in this area by Hungarian scholars. The description of an interesting case study concerning the casket mounts found at the Austrian site of Traismauer (Augustianis) allows us to take stock of current studies of late antique caskets. In this paper, taking the jurisdiction of Anhui Province as the research area, a vulnerability assessment index system of human settlements was constructed from "exposure–sensitivity–coping ability". Based on the GIS spatial analysis method, the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of human settlements in Anhui Province were analyzed. The influences of human factors and natural factors on the spatial differentiation of human settlement vulnerability were explored by using geographic detectors, and the driving mechanism of the evolution of human settlement vulnerability was analyzed. An analysis of the results showed the following: ① With a change in the time scale, the human settlement vulnerability index showed a trend of decreasing year by year, the exposure and sensitivity show a downward trend year by year in the three major subsystems, and the coping ability shows an upward trend year by year. ② The evolution of the vulnerability subsystems of exposure, sensitivity, and coping ability in human settlement environments showed the directions of "medium–high–low (M-H-L)" in the early stage, "low–high–medium (L-H-M)" in the middle stage, and "low–medium–high (L-M-H)" in the later stage. ③ The causes of high vulnerability were as follows: The leading factors in the early stage were natural factors, the leading factors in the middle period were natural and human factors, and the leading factors in the later stage were human factors. ④ One-factor and two-factor interactive detection using a geodetector showed that urbanization, industrialization, land use control, and per capita income levels have become key and "short-board" factors that control the vulnerability of human settlements. Ocean economy is the sum of various industrial activities for developing, utilizing, and protecting the ocean, as well as the activities associated with it. As the globe gradually pays more attention to ocean economic growth, China, as a significant maritime country, has begun to pay attention to the sector and put up ocean economic development policies. The marine economy has great potential, and the development of the marine economy is of great significance to the economic development of China. The Fujian Province is located at the junction of the Belt and Road and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, with a unique geographical location and natural resource advantages. Analyzing the state of the ocean economy in the Fujian Province, identifying challenges, and developing ocean economic development strategies to promote the long-term growth of the ocean economy in the Fujian Province has become a pressing issue that must be addressed. Because there is currently limited research on ocean economic systems and a paucity of ocean economic data, this paper uses a deep neural network to forecast the ocean production output value of the Fujian Province. The experimental results show that the model proposed in this paper can predict the ocean invention value of the Fujian Province well, which confirms the effectiveness of the model. Strengthening the construction of ecological civilization is an inevitable requirement for promoting high-quality economic and social development. It is of great significance to study the evolutionary trend and relationship between urban spatial structure and ecological efficiency to promote high-quality social development. Taking Shandong Province as an example, this paper obtains data on urban factors such as points of interest, night light, number of employed people at the end of the year and water supply; uses Anselin Local Moran's I index to identify urban centers; analyzes the distribution form characteristics and agglomeration degree of urban space; and studies the spatial distribution characteristics and causes of differences in ecological efficiency based on the Super-SBM DEA model with undesirable output. The results show that all cities in Shandong Province show an inverse S-shaped circle decreasing trend, Laiwu city has the highest compactness (compactness index is 2.96), and Tai 'an city has the lowest compactness index of 0.04. The level of eco-efficiency in Shandong Province is "low in the west and high in the east", and the difference in eco-efficiency between regions is increasing year by year. Urban compactness has a "first increasing and then decreasing" effect on eco-efficiency. Technological innovation and industrial structure narrow the spatial difference in eco-efficiency, and the level of economic development expands it to a certain extent. This study aims to fill the gaps in existing research. By analyzing data on the evolution of urban spatial structure and resource consumption, it will reveal the trends of changes in the urban spatial structure of Shandong Province and study the impact of these changes on ecological benefits. Many communities and territories in developing countries experience significant gaps in access to and use of information and communication technology (ICT), which is viewed as a major impediment to socioeconomic and health-related vulnerabilities. Geographic considerations, on the other hand, as well as variations in motivation for ICT usage and technology adoption within and across nations, as well as between cultures, have exacerbated the digital divide. This paper investigates disparities in access to and utilization of ICT in 31 Iranian provinces from 2011 to 2020. The research discovers evidence that family income and the number of R&D centers affected the formation of the digital divide, albeit the degree of the split has fluctuated through time and space. This study discovered that digital inequality is associated with social exclusion throughout Iranian regions, and it went on to try to better understand the underlying issues and potential solutions. In this regard, some policy avenues are suggested for government action, particularly for marginalized socioeconomic groups, such as the provision of infrastructure, training and skill augmentation, and the easing of digital services supplied by the government or private sector. Rabies is a prevalent endemic and zoonotic fatal disease, which is normally transmitted to humans by contact (scratches and bites) from infected animals. The present paper deals with the first documented evidence of rabies in the stone marten (Martes foina). Rabies symptoms were observed in a marten in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. The animal with a strange demeanour approached people without fear, which was died after some while. Samples were taken from its brain (cerebellum, hippocampus, and hypothalamus), shortly after death. In this report, laboratory evidence of rabies by fluorescent antibody (FAT) was proved. The present work is valuable because of the environmental importance of the stone marten. Hence, sensitive surveillance and advanced reporting systems should be regularly monitored on suspected cases of rabies in animals and humans to control and prevent this deadly disease. We have found 117 taxa of lichenicolous fungi in the studied area. In this paper, we describe five taxa: Arthonia boomiana on Nephromopsis chlorophylla, Lawalreea burgaziana on Platismatia glauca, Pronectria scrobiculatae on Lobarina scrobiculata, Trichonectria parmeliellae on Parmeliella testacea and Trichonectria rubefaciens ssp. cryptoramalinae on Ramalina. Furthermore, the next records are interesting chorologically from the Iberian Peninsula: Arthophacopsis parmeliarum, Catillaria lobariicola, Lichenopuccinia poeltii, Myxotrichum bicolor, Nanostictis christiansenii, Niesslia lobariae, Opegrpaha sphaerophoricola, Pronectria fragmospora, Rhymbocarpus aggregatus, R. neglectus, and Tremella cetrariicola. This paper examines the update patterns of urban–rural gap and regional inequality within Jiangsu Province from a perspective of local household income. A comprehensive model is proposed to quantitively analyse the contributions of socioeconomic factors to the household income level at local areas. We find the household income level is rising rapidly in Jiangsu Province and the urban–rural gap shows a convergence trend over the past decade. Hotspot analysis indicates the low-income clusters at the north and two high-income clusters at the south. The high-income clustering regions cover Greater Nanjing Area and the Sunan region including Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou which are geographically around the Tai Hu Lake. A range of socioeconomic factors play roles in the local household income. Population urbanization is a key variable, and highly educated labour make contributions particularly. Output of the service sector proves a significant correlation, while that of the manufacturing sector is not distinct. Multinational companies can also exert positive effects on the household income level at local areas. It is widely recognized that urban resilience is one of the core goals of urban development. As an important part of a city, the resilience level of urban human settlements directly affects the development trend of urban resilience. However, at present, research results on the resilience of urban human settlements are very rare, are mainly concentrated in the central region of China, and rarely take into account the economically backward northeastern region. Therefore, in order to better improve the anti-risk ability of the urban human settlement environment system in three provinces of Northeast China, fully implement the strategic goal of "Comprehensive Revitalization of Northeast China", and achieve high-quality urban development, this paper focuses on 34 prefecture-level cities in three provinces of Northeast China and proposes an urban human settlement resilience evaluation system with 36 indicators in five dimensions, namely, the natural system, human system, housing system, supporting system, and social system. Using the entropy weight method, the Dagum Gini coefficient, and a geographical probe model, the changes in the resilience level of each city from 2005 to 2020 were measured, and the urban living environment was assessed in terms of the adaptability and resilience of the development level in each subsystem based on the temporal and spatial evolution law and its influencing factors. The following conclusions were drawn: (1) The development level of urban human settlement resilience in the three provinces in Northeast China showed an N-shaped development trend from 2005 to 2020, but the regional differences were significant, and the overall spatial pattern was "high in the south and low in the north". (2) In terms of the overall difference, the overall difference in urban human settlement resilience in the three northeastern provinces of China was small: the inter-regional difference was the main source of the difference, and the intra-regional difference was the secondary source. The regional differences were in the order of Heilongjiang Province > Liaoning Province > Jilin Province, indicating that Jilin Province had the smallest difference and that the resilience level of urban human settlements does not show a balanced development trend. In terms of the average Gini coefficient between regions, the order of difference was Liaoning Province–Heilongjiang Province > Jilin Province–Liaoning Province > Jilin Province–Heilongjiang Province, indicating that the difference between Liaoning Province and Heilongjiang Province was the most significant. (3) The "natural system", "human system", "living system", "supporting system", and "social system" had significant spatial and temporal heterogeneity and significantly affected the resilience level of urban human settlements in the three provinces in Northeast China.
