鲁克沁构造带稠油藏属于吐哈盆地前侏罗系稠油分布区.研究表明，其油源为台北凹陷二叠系，中高孔、渗的中上三叠统为其提供了良好的储层条件.鲁克沁构造带三叠系油藏烃类注入至少有两期，早期为晚三叠世-早侏罗世，晚期是晚白垩世，并以早期注入为主.稠油成藏则由多因素综合作用造成，由于早期源岩成熟度较低，原油本身较稠，而油气运移过程中轻质组分散失、生物降解和盆地抬升剥蚀阶段大气水下渗所导致的水洗氧化等作用则使其进一步稠化.

油气的运移、聚集与地下水动力场的形成与演化密切相关.随着沉积盆地的形成与演化,地下水动力场也有形成、发展和消亡的过程.讨论鄂尔多斯盆地地下水动力场的形成与演化,推断其油气的分布规律:大气水下渗——向心流处为水区,天然气离心流区为气区,越流天然气漏失区对应于气水共存过渡区.
