Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of single Judkins left (JL) catheter to view right and left coronary artery in right transradial coronary angiography. Methods: A total of 266 patients underwent coronary angiography from the right radial artery were studied prospectively. Patients with ad-hoc percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), peripheral angiography, ventriculography or aortography procedures (67 patients) were excluded from the study. Coronary angiography was performed with the JL catheter as single catheter group in 171 of the remaining 199 patients, and with the Judkins right and left catheters as the control group in the other 28 patients. Complications, procedure success, procedure time and fluoroscopy time were evaluated between the two groups. Results: Procedure success were 93% (159/171) in patients with a single catheter group and 96.4% (27/28) in patients with two catheter (Judkins right and left) group (control group) (p = 0.49). Complications (spasm) are the same between the two groups (8 of 171 [4.7%] patients in study group and 1 of 28 [3.6%] patients in control group, p = 0.79). Fluroscopy time in single JL catheter group was significantly higher (6.20 ± 4.97 min vs 3.76 ± 2.78 min, p = 0.01). Conclusions: Single JL catheter using to view right and left coronary artery in right transradial coronary angiography was safe and effective. In our study, the success rate of getting left and right coronary artery images with a single JL catheter as high as 93%. However, insisting on imaging with a single catheter extends the duration of fluoroscopy time.

The facial artery musculomucosal flap (FAMM flap) is a convenient option for covering complicated palatal defects, as it is a local flap inside the oral cavity with good tissue quality and minimal drawbacks. The present prospective study included 17 patients, 7 males and 10 females. Most of the patients had palatal fistulae, after cleft palate surgical repair; only one had a post-traumatic palatal defect. Superiorly based FAMM flaps were used for eight patients, and inferiorly based FAMM flaps were used for nine patients. A speech specialist assessed all patients, postoperatively. The range of follow-up time was from two to four years. In the majority of cases, reconstruction was successful and uneventful. Patients were satisfied regarding oral function. Complications were minor, which include incomplete coverage, bulkiness, temporary hardness and dimpling. The FAMM flap is a very useful, versatile, and technically easy flap for covering difficult palatal defects.

Amaç: Akut ürtike rçocuklarda hastane başvurularının en sık nedenlerinden biridir. Çalışmanın amacı çocuk alerji polikliniğinde akut ürtikertanısı alan hastaların etiyolojik açıdan değerlendirilmesidir.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya 1 Ocak 2016 - 31 Aralık 2016 tarihleri arasında hastanemizin çocuk alerji polikliniklerinde akut ürtikertanısı alan hastalar alındı. Hasta bilgileri dosya kayıtlarından geriye dönük olarak kaydedildi.Bulgular: Çalışmada akut ürtiker tanısı alan 469 hasta değerlendirildi. Hastaların yaş ortancası (min-maks) 7 yıl (2 ay-18 yıl) olup, %48.8’ierkekti. Hastaların % 33.5’inde (n=157) tekrarlayan akut ürtiker öyküsü vardı ve % 20’sine anjiyoödem de eşlik ediyordu. Öyküde tetikleyiciolarak hastaların % 37.5’ünde (n=176) enfeksiyonlar, % 17.9’unda (n=84) ilaç, % 10.9’unda (n=51) besin, % 3.2’sinde (n=15) böcek ısırığıve % 0.2’sinde (n=1) aşı bulunuyordu. Hastalar anamnez, fizik muayene ve laboratuvar bulguları ile değerlendirildiğinde; %59’unda (n=276)tetikleyici saptanamadı ve bu hastalar idiopatik akut ürtiker olarak tanı aldılar. Tetikleyici saptanan hastalarda enfeksiyonlar (% 37.5; n=176)ilk sırada yer alıyordu. Besin ve ilaç alerjisi ise sadece 1’er hastada doğrulandı. Yaş gruplarına gore etiyolojik dağılıma bakıldığında, 12-18yaş grubunda daha çok idiyopatik akut ürtiker, 2 yaş altı grupta ise enfeksiyonla tetiklenen akut ürtiker olduğu görüldü (p=0.009).Sonuç: Akut ürtiker nedeniyle alerji kliniğine başvuran çocuklarda çoğunlukla tetikleyici bulunamamaktadır. Tetikleyici tespit edilebilenhastalarda ise enfeksiyonlar ilk sırada yer almaktadır. Ancak hastaların klinik öykülerinde şüpheli tetikleyici olarak yiyecek veya ilaç(lar) dabulunabilir ve bu hastaların tanısal alerji testleri ile değerlendirilmesi önemlidir. Böylece hastaların yanlış tanı almaları ve gereksiz besin veyailaç kısıtlamaları önlenebilecektir., Objective: Acute urticaria is one of the most common causes of admission to hospitals in children. The aim of the studyis to evaluate the etiology of acute urticaria in patients who admitted to pediatric allergy outpatient clinics.Material and Methods: The patients who were diagnosed as acute urticaria in pediatric allergy outpatient clinicsbetween January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016 were included in the study. Patient information was recordedretrospectively from medical files.Results: In this study, 469 patients with acute urticaria were evaluated. The median (min-max) age of the patients was7 years (2 months-18 years), and 48.8 % of them were male. Angioedema was accompanying in 20 % of the patients.Recurrent acute urticaria was seen in 33.5 % (n = 157) of the patients. In the history, infections were the triggers in37.5 % (n=176) of the patients, drugs in 17.9 % (n=84), food in 10.9 % (n=51), insect bites in 3.2 % (n=15), and 0.2 %(n=1) of them had the vaccine. When the patients were evaluated with the medical histories, physical examination andlaboratory findings; triggers could not be detected in 59 % (n=276) and these patients were diagnosed as idiopathicacute urticaria. Infections (37.5 %; n=176) were in the first place in patients with triggers. Food and drug allergies wereconfirmed in only one patient each. Considering the etiological distribution according to age groups, it was seen thatidiopathic acute urticaria was more common in the 12-18 age group and infection-associated acute urticaria in thegroup under 2 years old (p=0.009).Conclusion: Mostly, triggers cannot be found in children who apply to the allergy clinic due to acute urticaria. In patientswho can be identified triggers, infections are in the first place. However, patients’ clinical histories may also include food ordrug(s) as a suspected trigger, and it is important to evaluate these patients with diagnostic allergy tests. Thus, misdiagnosisof patients and unnecessary food or drug restrictions would be prevented.

Çalışma bölgesi faunası için Pentodon algerinus dispar Baudi di Selve, 1870 yeni kayıttır. Her bir türün Palearktik ve Türkiye yayılışları verilmiştir., In this study, samples of the Scarabaeidae (Coleoptera), collected from different regions of Mersin-Tarsus in 2012, were evaluated. Six taxa belong to genera of Euonthophagus, Euoniticellus, Gymnopleurus, Onthophagus and Pentodon were determined. Pentodon algerinus dispar Baudi, 1870 was new record for fauna of study area. Distribution of Palearctic and Turkey for each species were also given.

Dampak Pandemi Covid-19 telah mempengaruhi segala aspek tatanan kehidupan manusia, tidak hanya sebatas aspek kesehatan saja tanpa kecuali termasuk berdampak pada aspek pendidikan. Pemerintah melakukan pembatasan kegiatan pembelajaran untuk menghindari penyebaran covid-19 melalui pembelajaran secara daring. Terdapat banyak media pembelajaran daring yang dapat digunakan seperti Zoom Meeting, WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Meeting, Edmodo dan lainnya. Akan tetapi, pendidik guru harus cerdas dan kreatif dalam memilih media pembelajaran yang sesuai. Maka pendampingan dan penguatan kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan media sangat penting dan mendesak untuk dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode pengabdian berbasis Service learning. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan dengan melakukan bimbingan, pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran dengan bijak dan cermat. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan, dilakukan juga evaluasi terhadap kegiatan bimbingan dan pendampingan penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran bagi guru untuk mengetahui dampak dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan bahwa hampir semua (97%) guru madrasah dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran secara daring secara signifikan terjadi peningkatan baik dari aspek pemahaman, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Dapat dimpulkan kegiatan masayarakat yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran secara daring

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode penyekoran dan kecemasan tes terhadap ketidakwajaran sekor tes setelah mengontrol pengetahuan awal. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain treatment by level 2x2. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada MTs Negeri Pandeglang 1, Banten dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 orang siswa yang diambil dengan teknik pengambilan sampel multi stage random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik Analisis Kovarian (ANAKOVA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah mengontrol pengetahuan awal: (1) indeks ketidakwajaran sekor tes matematika antara kelompok siswa yang di sekor dengan menggunakan metode penalty lebih tinggi daripada kelompok siswa yang di sekor dengan menggunakan metode correct, (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode penyekoran tes dan kecemasan tes terhadap indeks ketidakwajaran sekor tes matematika, (3) untuk kelompok siswa yang memiliki kecemasan tes ringan, indeks ketidakwajaran sekor tes matematika antara kelompok siswa yang di sekor dengan menggunakan metode penalty lebih tinggi daripada kelompok siswa yang di sekor dengan menggunakan metode correct, dan (4) untuk kelompok siswa yang memiliki kecemasan tes berat, indeks ketidakwajaran sekor tes matematika antara kelompok siswa yang di sekor dengan menggunakan metode penalty lebih rendah daripada kelompok siswa yang di sekor dengan menggunakan metode correct.AbstractThis study is aimed to determine the effect of scoring method and test anxiety toward inappropriacy index of math test score after controlling the prior knowledge. This research method was experimental design with treatment by level 2x2. The research was conducted at MTs Pandeglang 1, Banten with sample of 80 students were using multi stage random sampling technique. Data analysis was done by using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results of this study after controlling prior knowledge showed that: (1) the inappropriacy index of math test scores between groups of students whom are scored using penalty test method is higher than those whom are scored using correct test; (2) there is an interaction effect between scoring method and the test anxiety toward inappropriacy index of math test scores; (3) for the group of students having of anxiety easy test, the inappropriacy index of math test scores between groups of students whom are scored using penalty is higher than those who are scored using correct method; and (4) for the group of students who having of anxiety difficult test, the inappropriacy index of math test scores between groups of students whom are scored using penalty test is lower than those whom are scored using correct.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan pemahaman yang berkaitan pentingnya manajemen berbasis sekolah/madrasah dan kepemimpinan untuk mencapai efektifitas dalam pengelolaan sekolah/madrasah. Kepemimpinan sekolah/madrasah berpacu dengan cepatnya perubahan regulasi maupun teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, terjadinya persaingan yang ketat, globalisasi, perampingan organisasi, dan perubahan ekonomi. Sehingga pimpinan dalam lembaga pendidikan dalam hal ini adalah Kepala Sekolah/Madrasah perlu terus melakukan perubahan terhadap paradigma pendidikan yang muncul menuju yang lebih baik, sehingga perlu kearifan dan kejelian terhadap konsep atau paradigma yang mana harus diadopsi oleh para pemimpin pendidikan. Salah satu model kepemimpinan sekolah/madrasah yang dipandang efektif dalam pengelolaan pendidikan di sekolah/madrasah adalah Manajamen Berbasis Sekolah/Madrasah (MBS/M). Sebagai paradigma baru manajemen pendidikan, MBS/M merupakan suatu konsep inovatif, yang bukan hanya perlu dikaji sebagai wacana baru dalam manajemen pendidikan, tetapi juga perlu dipertimbangkan sebagai langkah inovatif dan strategis ke arah peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui pembenahan dan peningkatan manajemen berdasarkan pendekatan akar rumput. Implikasi dari tulisan ini diharapkan bahwa para guru, kepala sekolah/ madrasah, dan pengelola pendidikan untuk memahami dan mengimplementasikan konsep-konsep Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah/Madrasah sehingga menjadikan sekolah/madrasah itu efektif, yang pada akhirnya bermuara dengan munculnya hasil dan prestasi belajar perserta didik yang lebih bermutu.

Bu çalışma ile ilk kez Kütahya ilinde Calliphoridae familyası türlerinin faunası, süksesyonu ve fenolojileri detaylı olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma bölgesi olarak Dumlupınar Üniversitesine ait olan Evliya Çelebi Yerleşkesi seçilmiştir. Tezin arazi çalışması Haziran 2012 ile Mayıs 2013 tarihleri arasında 12 ay süre ile yapılmıştır. Calliphoridae familyasının Calliphora, Chrysomya ve Lucilia cinslerine ait toplanan 757 birey elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada planlı çürümeye bırakılmış domuz leşi üzerine gelen Calliphoridae familyasına bağlı toplam 4 tür tespit edilmiştir., In this study, the fauna, succession and phenologies of Calliphoridae family have been determined in details for the first time. Turkey Evliya Çelebi Campus in Dumlupınar University was selected as the study area. Field study of thesis continued for 12 months between the dates of June, 2012 and May, 2013. The collection of 757 samples belonging to Calliphora, Chrysomya and Lucilia genera of Calliphoridae family have been constructed. In this study, total of 4 species linked taxonomially to Calliphoridae family, travelled on to pig carcass, were determined.

Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia in adults, and is encountered in 10-15% of the patients with hyperthyroidism. Unless euthyroidism is restored, pharmacological or electrical cardioversion is controversial in patients with AF who remain hyperthyroid. Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of electrical cardioversion and predictors of AF recurrence in hyperthyroid and euthyroid patients. Methods: The study included 33 hyperthyroid (21 males) and 48 euthyroid (17 males) patients with persistent AF. The patients were sedated with intravenous midazolam before undergoing electrical cardioversion delivered by synchronized biphasic shocks. Rates of AF recurrence were recorded. Results: Mean follow-up was 23.63 ± 3.74 months in the hyperthyroid group and 22.78 ± 3.15 months in the euthyroid group (p = 0.51). AF recurred in 14 (43.8%) and 21 (44.7%) patients in each group, respectively (p = 0.93). Multivariate regression analysis in each group showed that AF duration was the only predictor of AF recurrence, with odds ratios of 1.38 (95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.05 - 1.82, p = 0.02) in the hyperthyroid group and 1.42 (95% CI = 1.05 - 1.91, p= 0.02) in the euthyroid group. Conclusion: Rates of long-term AF recurrence were similar in successfully cardioverted hyperthyroid and euthyroid patients. The only predictor of AF recurrence in both groups was AF duration. Fundamento: A fibrilação atrial (FA) é a arritmia mais comum em adultos e é encontrada em 10-15% dos pacientes com hipertireoidismo. A menos que haja retorno ao eutireoidismo, a cardioversão farmacológica ou elétrica é controversa em pacientes com FA que permanecem com hipertireoidismo. Objetivo: O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a eficácia da cardioversão elétrica e os preditores de recorrência de FA em pacientes com hipertireoidismo e eutireoidismo. Métodos: O estudo incluiu pacientes com FA persistente, dos quais 33 (21 homens) apresentavam hipertireoidismo e 48 (17 homens) eutireoidismo. Os pacientes foram sedados com midazolam endovenoso antes de serem submetidos à cardioversão elétrica com choques sincronizados bifásicos. As taxas de recorrência da FA foram registradas. Resultados: O tempo médio de seguimento foi de 23,63 ± 3,74 meses no grupo com hipertireoidismo e 22,78 ± 3,15 meses no grupo com eutireoidismo (p = 0,51). A FA recorreu em 14 (43,8%) e 21 (44,7%) pacientes em cada grupo, respectivamente (p = 0,93). Uma análise de regressão multivariada em cada grupo mostrou que a duração da FA foi o único preditor de recorrência de FA com odds ratios de 1,38 (intervalo de confiança [IC] 95% = 1,05 - 1,82, p = 0,02) no grupo com hipertireoidismo e 1,42 (IC 95% = 1,05 - 1,91, p = 0,02) no grupo com eutireoidismo. Conclusão: As taxas de recorrência da FA a longo prazo foram semelhantes em pacientes com hipertireoidismo e eutireoidismo submetidos com sucesso à cardioversão. A duração da FA foi o único preditor de recorrência da FA em ambos os grupos.

Bu araştırma, Van ilinde yetiştirilen Norduz koyununun urogenital sistem organlarının Alkid resin metoduyla hazırlanarak veteriner anatomi eğitim-öğretiminde pratik olarak kullanılabilecek ürünlerin ortaya konulması, Alkid resin metoduyla hazırlanmış kadavralarla taze ve formaldehitle hazırlanmış kadavraların karşılaştırılması amaçlarıyla yapıldı. Çalışmada 20 adet ergin Norduz koyunu kullanıldı. Bu hayvanlardan 6 tanesi ile G1 grubu oluşturuldu, kalan 14 hayvanın açılan arterlerinden Spence’in solüsyonu kullanılarak hayvanlar tespit edildi. Tespit edilen kadavralardan 6 tanesi ile G2 grubu oluşturuldu. Geriye kalan 8 kadavra ise G3 grubunu oluşturdu. Bu gruptaki materyaller yıkama, yağ ve sudan arındırma, gömme, ön kurutma, emdirme ve son kurutma safhalarından geçirildi. G1, G2 ve G3 gruplarının tamamının böbrek, vesicae urinaria, ovarium, cornu uteri, corpus uteri, vagina ve vulva’larının sertlik, elastikiyet, yapışkanlık, ezilebilirlik, dirençlilik ve sakızlı olma, değerleri ile urethra ve clitoris’in de renk değerlerini yansıtan L, a, b değerleri incelenebilirken, ureter ve tuba uterina’larda textür ve renk analizleri gerçekleştirilemedi. Alkid resin metodu ile hazırlanan materyaller (G3), taze (G1) ve formaldehitle hazırlanan materyallerle (G2) karşılaştırıldığında; kimi zaman taze dokuya yakın, kimi zaman formaldehitli materyallerin özelliklerini yansıtan, kimi zamanda kendine has özellikler ortaya koyan, kokusuz, uzun süre muhafaza edilebilecek, orijinal rengine yakın, kuru ve anatomi eğitim öğretiminde kullanılabilecek materyaller elde edildi. Alkid resin metodu ile hazırlanan böbrek materyallerin normal dokudan daha sert olduğu, ovarium’larda normal dokudan daha yumuşak karakter gösterdiği fakat organda deformasyona rastlanmadığı, sarı renk değerlerinin taze ve formaldehitli materyallere göre tüm organlarda daha fazla olduğu belirlendi. Norduz koyununun urogenital sistem organlarının diğer koyun tiplerine benzediği, farklı çıkan makroanatomik ve subgross ölçülerin yaş, doğal yaşam, besleme gibi çevresel ve etkisel faktörler neticesinde değişmiş olabileceği düşünülmektedir. Tüm bu anlatımlar çerçevesinde bazı dokularda oluşan problemlerin giderilmesi ve Alkid resin metodunun sağlık riskinin araştırılması için yeni çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır, This study had two aims. First was to determine whether urogenital system organs of Norduz Sheep that prepared by the method of Alkyd resin, can be used in practice of education and teaching of Veterinary Anatomy. Second was to compare the fresh and formaldehyde prepared cadavers with the Alkyd resin prepared one. Twenty adult Norduz sheep were used in the study. These animals consisted groups G1 (six animals), G2 (six animals), G3 (eight animals). Animals of G2 and G3 perfused with Spence fixative via arteria. Animals of G3 were passed from the stages of washing, removing of oil and water from the materials, purification, burial, pre-drying, impregnation and drying. Kidneys, bladders, ovaries, cornu uteries, corpus uteries, vagens, vulvas of animals in G1, G2 and G3 were investigated, for their hardness, springiness, adhesiveness, chewiness, resilience, gumminess and the color values that reflecting the urethra and clitoris as L, a, b. In comparison, Alkyd resin-prepared materials sometimes demonstrated close similarity to the fresh tissue, sometimes reflected the characteristics of formaldehyde materials, sometimes demonstrated its unique features such as odorless, long time preservation, close to the original color, dry, and can be used as materials for teaching of anatomy education. It was observed that the urogenital organs of Norduz sheep were similar to other sheep species. Norduz sheep were thought to be altered by the environmental factors such as age, habitat and nutrition. Within the framework of all of these narratives new studies are necessary to eliminate the problems which occur in some tissues and to investigate the health risk of the method

Mevcut sistem dezavantajlı gruplar için çocuk hakları, yardım organizasyonları ve politik yaptırımlar ile göstermelik, yetersiz çözümler üretmektedir.Çalışan çocuklar günümüzde küresel bir sorun olarak görülmektedir. Çalışan çocuklar gibi grupların varlığı ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeyleri ile ilişkilendirilmekte, bu çocuklara yönelik sosyal politikalar beraberinde siyasi yaptırımları da getirmektedir. Sorunun çözümü, sadece kısa vadeli ağırlıklı olan uygulamalarla değil, uzun vadeli yapısal sorunlar ve ekonomik eşitsizliklerin düzeltilmesini ve aile refah düzeyinin her yönden yükseltilmesini gerektirmektedir. Working children are seen as aglobal problem. The existance of groups as well as working children is linked with development levels of countries. Social politics aimed at these children lead the political sanctions. Bu çalışma yerli ördeklerin cloaca’sının yerini, komşuluklarını, makroskobik ve subgross yapılarını belirlemek amacı ile her iki cinsiyetten altı adet hayvan kullanılarak yapıldı. Bu amaçla anestezi sonrası uyutulan ördeklerin cloaca’sı ve bağırsaklarına tespit, yıkama, alkol ve aseton serisi, gliserola gömme, alkyd resin içeren vernik ve tiner solüsyonunu emdirme ve kurutma işlemleri uygulandı. Bu işlemlerden sonra cloaca ve yapıları diseksiyon mikroskobu ile incelendi ve resimlenerek sunuldu. Rectum’un genişlemesinden oluşan cloaca’nın jejunum, duodenum, cecum, bursa cloacalis ile komşu olduğu, coprodeum, urodeum ve proctodeum adlı boşluklardan oluştuğu tespit edildi. Bu bölümler arasında önden arkaya doğru plica rectocoprodealis, plica coprourodealis ve plica uroproctodealis adlı üç plikanın bulunduğu, urodeum’a ureter, erkekte ductus deferens’in; proctodeum’a ise bursa cloacalis’in açıldığı belirlendi.

ı.oz Bu çalışmada, her iki cinsten 20' şer adet evcil kedi ve Beyaz Yeni Zelanda tavşanı kafasının extracranial ve intracranial venleri karşılaştırmalı makro-anatomik ve subgros olarak incelendi. Materyallere corrozyon cast, latex injeksiyonu ve venografı teknikleri uygulandı. V. jugularis externa' nın kedide v. brachiocephalica'dan tavşanda doğrudan v. cava cranialis'ten ayrıldığı gözlendi. V. jugularis interaa'nın kedide her iki tarafta tek başına v. jugularis externa'dan çıkmasına rağmen kedide sağ tarafta v. colli mediana ile birlikte, sol tarafta ise tek başına aynı adlı damardan orjin aldığı belirlendi. V. linguofacial ve v. maxillaris'in her iki türde de v. jugularis externa'mn son dalları olduğu görüldü. V. linguofacialis'in kedide genellikle arcus hyoideus ile birbirine bağlandığı, her iki türde de v. lingualis ile v. facialis'i vererek sonlandığı tespit edildi. V. facialis'in, her iki türde de yüz bölgesinin lateral yüzünde seyrettiği, v. dorsalis nasi ve v. angularis oculi'ye ayrılarak sonlandığı saptandı. V. maxillaris'in, tavşanda genellikle ayrı ayrı, kedide ortak bir kök halinde v. auricularis caudalis ile v. temporalis superficialis'i verdiği ve daha sonra her iki türde de plexus pterygoideus'u oluşturduğu belirlendi. V. temporalis superfıcialis'in orbita'nın caudodorsal'inde kedide plexus ophthalmicus'a tavşanda ise sinus ophthalmicus'a bağlandığı görüldü. Her iki türde de sinus sagittalis dorsalis, confluens sinuum, sinus rectus, sinus transversus, sinus petrosus dorsalis, sinus temporalis ve sinus sigmoideus'un dorsal, sinus cavernosus, sinus intercavernosi rostralis, sinus intercavernosi caudalis, sinus petrosus ventralis ve sinus basilaris'in ise ventral olarak yerleştiği gözlendi. Sinus durae matris'in, her iki türde de w. cerebri ile w. cerebelli'yi verdiği, w. emissariae vasıtası ile extracranial venler ile bağlantı kurduğu görüldü. ABSTRACT In this study extracranial and intracranial veins of 20 domestic cats and New Zealand Rabbits were investigated comparative macroanatomically. Corrosion cast, injection latex and venography tecniques were used in these materials. It was observed that external jugular vein (v. jugularis externa) arised from brachiocephalic vein (v. brachiocephalica) in the cat but it arised from cranial vena cava (v. cava cranialis) in the rabbit. It was observed that internal jugular vein (v. jugularis interna) arised from bilaterally external jugular vein (v. jugularis externa) in the cat. Although internal jugular vein (v. jugularis interna) sprang from bilaterally external jugular vein (v. jugularis externa) at the left side in the rabbit, it originated from togetter median cervical vein (v. colli mediana) at the right side. It was observed that linguofacial vein (v. linguofacialis) and maxillar vein (v. maxillaris) were terminal branches of external jugular vein (v. jugularis externa) in both species. Linguofacial vein (v. linguofacialis), usually were tied with hyoid arcus (arcus hyoideus) in the cat. It was obtained that linguofacial vein (v. linguofacialis) terminated giving lingual vein (v. lingualis) and facial vein (v. facialis) in both species. Facial vein (v. facialis) travelled on the lateral side of the face and terminated giving dorsal nasal vein (v. dorsalis nasi) and angular oculi vein (v. angularis oculi). It was observed that maxillar vein (v. maxillaris) gave v. auricularis caudalis and superficial temporal vein (v. temporalis superficialis) as apart in the rabbit but it gave these branches as single root in the cat. It was also observed that maxillar vein (v. maxillaris) constitued pterygoid plexus (plexus pterygoides) in both species. Superficial temporal vein (v. temporalis superficialis) was tied with ophtalmic plexus (plexus ophthalmicus) in the cat and with ophtalmic sinus (sinus ophthalmicus) at the caudodorsad orbit in the rabbit. In both species, dorsal sagittal sinus (sinus sagitalis dorsalis), confluence of sinuses (confluens sinuum), sraight sinus (sinus rectus), sinus trans vetsus (transverse sinus), dorsalpetrosal sinus (sinus petrosus dorsalis), temporal sinus (sinus temporalis) and sigmoid sinus (sinus sigmoideus) took place dorsally, cavernous sinuses (sinus cavernosus), rostral intercavernous sinus (sinus intercavernosi rostralis), caudal intercavernous sinus (sinus intercavernosi caudalis), ventral petrosal sinus (sinus petrosus ventralis), and basilar sinus (sinus basilaris) took place ventrally. It was observed that dural sinuses (sinus durae matris) gave cerebral veins (w. cerebri) and cerebellar veins (w. cerebelli) and recevied emissar veins (w. emissariae) in the both species.
