Abstract

Seismic inversion is one of the important methods to realize reservoir prediction in oil and gas field exploration. The seismic stochastic inversion based on Metropolis-Hastings algorithm makes full use of well logging data and improves the vertical resolution of inversion results. However, conventional Metropolis-Hastings algorithm has slow convergence speed and poor stability. In this paper, an elastic impedance inversion method based on optimized Metropolis-Hastings algorithm is established by combining quantum annealing algorithm with Metropolis-Hastings algorithm. The feasibility of the method is verified by model calculation and actual data test.

Abstract

The dyadic Green's function (DGF) is applied to examine the effect of focal shift in a spherical microlens with the variation of the numerical aperture for a given Fresnel number when a monochromatic plane wave with x linear polarization is incident on the microlens. By comparing the results based on the method for the vector Kirchhoff diffraction theory [J. Opt. Soc. Am. A 22, 68-76 (2005)], the effect of the spherical aberration on focal shift in a microlens is evaluated, and the influences of NA as well as the spherical aberration on the transverse electric energy density distribution in the focal plane are also investigated. In contrast with other vector formulations of imaging theory, which mainly focus on the focal shift in an aplanatic system, the DGF method is more practical and effective to locate the principal maximum energy density along the normal axis and to study transverse electric energy density distribution, because the actual shape of a microlens and the effects of aberrations are considered. Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of Yiqihuoxue prescription (YQHX) from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) on myocardial glucose and lipid metabolism after myocardial infarction via the cross talk between the liver kinase B1 (LKB1)-dependent Notch1 and adenosine 5'-monophosphate (AMP)-activated protein kinase (AMPK). YQHX was prepared with substances with properties that benefit, to activate blood circulation based on the TCM theory. Methods Animal models of myocardial infarction were established by ligating Sprague Dawley rats' left anterior descending coronary arteries. The animals were randomly divided into a myocardial infarction (MI) group, a YQHX group, a perindopril group, a γ-secretase inhibitor, Notch signal inhibitor (DAPT) group, a DAPT+YQHX group and a sham group. The related drugs were administered on the second day after operation, and changes in the relevant indexes were examined on weeks 1 and 4. Changes in cardiac structure and function were examined by echocardiography. The glucose and free fatty acids (FFA) were examined by ELISA. The expression of Notch, LKB1 and AMPK mRNA was examined by a real-time fluorescence quantitative method. The expression of glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4), and the expression of total acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) and its phosphorylation were examined by western blotting. Results Compared with the sham group, the expression of Notch, LKB1 and AMPK mRNA in the MI group was lower. Compared with the MI group, the expression of these mRNAs in the YQHX and perindopril groups was higher, and their expression in the DAPT group was lower. At all time points, the protein expression of GLUT4 and pACC decreased in the MI group. On week 1, the expression of pACC protein was higher. In the DAPT group, the expression of pACC protein decreased. Compared with the YQHX group, the expression of pACC protein in the DAPT + YQHX group was lower. On week 4, compared with the MI group, the expression of GLUT4 protein in the YQHX group and the perindopril group was higher. The expression of GLUT4 protein in the DAPT group decreased. Compared with the YQHX group, the expression of GLUT4 protein in the DAPT+YQHX group was lower. There was no significant difference in the expression of ACC protein between the groups. Conclusion YQHX promoted cross talk between the LKB1-dependent Notch1 and AMPK in myocardial tissue after myocardial infarction. Furthermore, it regulated the glucose and lipid metabolism of cardiomyocytes at different time points, thereby ameliorating the cardiac energy metabolism via different mechanisms and protecting the heart.

Abstract

Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) is regarded as an effective project delivery method that can deal with the challenge of the rapid development of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. In the IPD team, the alliance profit is not distributed fairly and effectively due to uncertainty, preventing the achievement of the IPD project goals. This study focuses on optimizing the profit distribution among stakeholders in IPD projects and uses quadratic programming models to solve fuzzy cooperative games in the IPD. A payoff function is used in the fuzzy alliance to determine the characteristics of the interval-valued fuzzy numbers, and different weights of the alliance and the efficiency of the player's participation in the IPD are considered in the profit distribution. A case study is conducted, and the results of the proposed method are compared with those of crisp cooperative games. The results show that the fuzzy cooperative game increases the profit of participants in IPD projects. It is more practical to use weight fuzzy cooperative games than crisp games to express imputation. Moreover, the quadratic programming models and methods result in a fair and efficient profit distribution scheme in IPD projects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

An analysis procedure for evaluating the refractive index and the thickness of 5-10-[[micro]meter]-thick transparent films has been developed based on variable-angle spectroscopic ellipsometry. As an example of application, results from an analysis of benzocyclobutene films are presented. The sensitivities in [Psi] and [Delta] with respect to the refractive index and the thickness of the films are also discussed. In myocardial ischemia, hypoxia leads to destruction of the cytoskeleton, and especially the imbalance of microtubule polymerization-depolymerization, which seriously affects the structure and function of cardiomyocytes. We previously showed that a Yiqi HuoxueDecoction (YQHX) improves mitochondrial function and decreases anti-oxidative effects in hypoxia-induced H9c2 cell injury. Therefore, in this study we investigated whether YQHX protects against hypoxia-induced damage by decreasing damage to the cardiac cytoskeleton.
