Scientific thinking constitutes a vital component of scientific competencies, crucial for citizens to adapt to the evolving societal landscape. To cultivate students' scientific thinking, teachers should possess an adequate professional knowledge foundation, which encompasses pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). Assessing teachers' PCK of scientific thinking facilitates the development of effective curricula tailored to their continuous professional development. Despite its significance, empirical studies on biology teachers' PCK of scientific thinking are notably lacking. Hence, this research aimed to create a reliable and valid tool to evaluate upper-secondary school biology teachers' PCK of scientific thinking. The results showed that the instrument exhibits high reliability and good validity, affirming its efficiency for investigative purposes. A collective of 292 in-service biology teachers from upper-secondary schools participated in this investigation through the completion of an online survey. The results indicated that, overall, as well as for each component, upper-secondary school biology teachers' performance on PCK of scientific thinking fell within the lower to middle range. Specifically, the performance levels of four components: knowledge of students (KSU), knowledge of instructional strategies (KIS), knowledge of curriculum (KC), and knowledge of assessment (KA) declined sequentially.

Abstract Background Current research lacks comprehensive investigation into the biomechanical changes in the spinal cord and nerve roots during scoliosis correction. This study employs finite element analysis to extensively explore these biomechanical variations across different Cobb angles, providing valuable insights for clinical treatment. Methods A personalized finite element model, incorporating vertebrae, ligaments, spinal cord, and nerve roots, was constructed using engineering software. Forces and displacements were applied to achieve Cobb angle improvements, designating T1/2-T4/5 as the upper segment, T5/6-T8/9 as the middle segment, and T9/10-L1/2 as the lower segment. Simulations under traction, pushing, and traction + torsion conditions were conducted, and biomechanical changes in each spinal cord segment and nerve roots were analyzed. Results Throughout the scoliosis correction process, the middle spinal cord segment consistently exhibited a risk of injury under various conditions and displacements. The lower spinal cord segment showed no significant injury changes under traction + torsion conditions. In the early correction phase, the upper spinal cord segment demonstrated a risk of injury under all conditions, and the lower spinal cord segment presented a risk of injury under pushing conditions. Traction conditions posed a risk of nerve injury on both sides in the middle and lower segments. Under pushing conditions, there was a risk of nerve injury on both sides in all segments. Traction + torsion conditions implicated a risk of injury to the right nerves in the upper segment, both sides in the middle segment, and the left side in the lower segment. In the later correction stage, there was a risk of injury to the upper spinal cord segment under traction + torsion conditions, the left nerves in the middle segment under traction conditions, and the right nerves in the upper segment under pushing conditions. Conclusion When the correction rate reaches 61–68%, particular attention should be given to the upper-mid spinal cord. Pushing conditions also warrant attention to the lower spinal cord and the nerve roots on both sides of the main thoracic curve. Traction conditions require attention to nerve roots bilaterally in the middle and lower segments, while traction combined with torsion conditions necessitate focus on the right-side nerve roots in the upper segment, both sides in the middle segment, and the left-side nerve roots in the lower segment.

Abstract We present the analytic total cross section of top quark pair production in electron-positron annihilation at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). By utilizing the optical theorem, the NNLO corrections are related to the imaginary parts of three-loop self-energy Feynman diagrams, of which the master integrals are calculated with canonical differential equations. The analytic results for the NNLO corrections are expressed in terms of multiple polylogarithms as well as elliptic functions. We discuss the asymptotic expansions near the threshold and in the high energy limit in detail. Numerical results are provided for the total cross section of top quark pair production at future lepton colliders.

Abstract Objective To intelligently evaluate the invasiveness of pure ground-glass nodules with multiple classifications using deep learning. Methods pGGNs in 1136 patients were pathologically confirmed as lung precursor lesions [atypical adenomatous hyperplasia (AAH) and adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS)], minimally invasive adenocarcinoma (MIA), or invasive adenocarcinoma (IAC). Four different models [EfficientNet-b0 2D, dual-head ResNet_3D, a 3D model combining three features (3D_3F), and a 3D model combining 19 features (3D_19F)] were constructed to evaluate the invasiveness of pGGNs using the EfficientNet and ResNet networks. The Obuchowski index was used to evaluate the differences in diagnostic efficiency among the four models. Results The patients with pGGNs (360 men, 776 women; mean age, 54.63 ± 12.36 years) included 235 cases of AAH + AIS, 332 cases of MIA, and 569 cases of IAC. In the validation group, the areas under the curve in detecting the invasiveness of pGGNs as a three-category classification (AAH + AIS, MIA, IAC) were 0.8008, 0.8090, 0.8165, and 0.8158 for EfficientNet-b0 2D, dual-head ResNet_3D, 3D_3F, and 3D_19F, respectively, whereas the accuracies were 0.6422, 0.6158, 0.651, and 0.6364, respectively. The Obuchowski index revealed no significant differences in the diagnostic performance of the four models. Conclusions The dual-head ResNet_3D_3F model had the highest diagnostic efficiency for evaluating the invasiveness of pGGNs in the four models.

Abstract Neovaginas are surgically constructed to correct uterovaginal agenesis in women with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome or as part of gender-affirming surgery for transfeminine individuals. Understanding the assembly of the neovaginal microbiota is crucial for guiding its management. To address this, we conducted a longitudinal study on MRKH patients following laparoscopic peritoneal vaginoplasty. Our findings reveal that the early microbial assemblage exhibited stochastic characteristics, accompanied with a notable bloom of Enterococcus faecalis and genital Mycoplasmas. While both the pre-surgery dimple microbiota and the fecal microbiota constituted the primary species pool, the neovaginal microbiota developed into a microbiota that resembled that of a normal vagina at 6–12 months post-surgery, albeit with a bacterial vaginosis (BV)-like structure. By 2–4 years post-surgery, the neovaginal microbiota had further evolved into a structure closely resembling with the homeostatic pre-surgery dimple microbiota. This concords with the development of the squamous epithelium in the neovagina and highlights the pivotal roles of progressive selective forces imposed by the evolving neovaginal environment and the colonization tropism of vaginal species. Notably, we observed that strains of Lactobacillus crispatus colonizing the neovagina primarily originated from the dimple. Since L. crispatus is generally associated with vaginal health, this finding suggests potential avenues for future research to promote its colonization.

Abstract Background Breakthrough cancer pain (BTcP) has a negative impact on patients’ quality of life, general activities, and is related to worse clinical outcomes. Fentanyl inhalant is a hand-held combination drug-device delivery system providing rapid, multi-dose (25μg/dose) administration of fentanyl via inhalation of a thermally generated aerosol. This multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, multiple-crossover, double-blind study evaluated the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of fentanyl inhalant in treating BTcP in opioid-tolerant patients. Methods The trial was conducted in opioid-tolerant cancer patients with 1 ~ 4 BTcP outbursts per day. Each patient was treated and observed for 6 episodes of BTcP (4 with fentanyl inhalant, 2 with placebo). During each episode of targeted BTcP, patients were allowed up to six inhalations, with an interval of at least 4 min between doses. Primary outcome was the time-weighted sum of PID (pain intensity difference) scores at 30 min (SPID30). Results A total of 335 BTcP episodes in 59 patients were treated. In the continuous cooling process, the growth of the equiaxed α-phase grains in near-α high-temperature titanium alloys is controlled by the diffusion of alloying elements. Establishing a specific connection between the cooling rate and the diffusion behaviour of alloying elements aids in the precise prediction of the evolution of equiaxed α-phase grain size. This study meticulously controlled the cooling rate during the two-phase region annealing treatment of the Ti65 alloy. Using EPMA technology, the diffusion behaviour of solute elements during cooling was accurately characterized. The study found that slowing the cooling rate promotes the coarsening of the lamellar secondary α-phase grains and the growth of the primary equiaxed α-phase grains. At higher annealing temperatures, the growth of equiaxed α-phase grains can occur at faster cooling rates, while coarse lamellar secondary α-phase grains can be retained at slower cooling rates. The diffusion behaviour of solute elements Al, Ta, Mo, and W between the α-phase and transformed β-phase matrix is significantly influenced by the cooling rate, thus they are considered as the controlling elements for the growth of the equiaxed α-phase grains. Based on the diffusion behaviours of these controlling elements, their single-element diffusion models were categorized and integrated for predicting the grain size of the equiaxed α-phase. The predictions from the revised diffusion model show an excellent agreement with the actual results, with an error margin of about 5%.

Objective The Hu sheep is a renowned breed known for its high reproductive rate. It is in estrus all year round, and its breeding population is gradually expanding. However, the current techniques for cryopreserving semen have limited effectiveness, which hinders the continuous development of this species. The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of different penetrating cryoprotectants (CPAs) and egg yolk (EY) concentrations on the cryopreservation of Hu ram semen to determine the most effective combination. To explore the influence of slightly acidic electrolyzed water (SAEW) with different pH and available chlorine contents (ACC) on the germination of tartary buckwheat (Fagopyrum tataricum), the germination rate was taken as the index, and the germination process of tartary buckwheat sprouts with SAEW was optimized by single factor and response surface experiments. Moreover, to obtain good quality selenium-enriched tartary buckwheat sprouts, the effects of different Na2SeO3 concentrations on tartary buckwheat were studied on the basis of SAEW germination, with the total selenium content and germination rate as indexes. The optimum technological parameters were determined as follows: soaking time 2.3 h, pH6.5, germination temperature 21 ℃ and germination time 108 h. Under these conditions, the germination rate was 84.96%, which was close to the predicted value of the response surface group (85.36%), being 14.3% and 11.71% higher than those of distilled water and tap water groups, respectively. The optimal concentration of Na2SeO3 was 60 mg/L, under which the total selenium content of tartary buckwheat sprouts was 15.5 mg/L, and the germination rate was 85.63%, which were both higher than the predicted and actual values of response surface group. This study provided a theoretical and scientific basis for the development of SAEW and selenium-enriched treatment of tartary buckwheat sprouts.

The inhibition of Mo segregation and phase precipitation is vital for improving the hot workability and corrosion resistance of superaustentic stainless steels (SASS). The boron non-equilibrium segregation of S31254 SASS was implemented through solid solution, air cooling, and diffusion at low-temperature treatment (SADT). The precipitation process and intergranular corrosion (IGC) of S31254 SASS with various boron distributions were researched at a sensitive temperature. The second phases were observed and identified by SEM and TEM. IGC susceptibility was evaluated by double-loop potentiodynamic reactivation (DL-EPR) measurements. The SADT treatment promoted more segregation of B at the grain boundary, leading to lower amounts of grain boundary precipitation before aging for 6 h. The decrease of σ phases in B-regulated samples enhances the IGC resistance, compared with the samples without B addition specimens.

The biomedical application of self-healing materials in wet or (under)water environments is quite challenging because the insulation and dissociation effects of water molecules significantly reduce the reconstruction of material–interface interactions. Rapid closure with uniform tension of high-tension wounds is often difficult, leading to further deterioration and scarring. Herein, a new type of thermosetting water-resistant self-healing bioelastomer (WRSHE) was designed by synergistically incorporating a stable polyglycerol sebacate (PGS) covalent crosslinking network and triple hybrid dynamic networks consisting of reversible disulfide metathesis (SS), and dimethylglyoxime urethane (Dou) and hydrogen bonds. And a resveratrol-loaded WRSHE (Res@WRSHE) was developed by a swelling, absorption, and crosslinked network locking strategy. WRSHEs exhibited skin-like mechanical properties in terms of nonlinear modulus behavior, biomimetic softness, high stretchability, and good elasticity, and they also achieved ultrafast and highly efficient self-healing in various liquid environments. For wound-healing applications of high-tension full-thickness skin defects, the convenient surface assembly by self-healing of WRSHEs provides uniform contraction stress to facilitate tight closure. Moreover, Res@WRSHEs gradually release resveratrol, which helps inflammatory response reduction, promotes blood vessel regeneration, and accelerates wound repair.

Abstract Anion exchange membrane water electrolysis (AEMWE) has seen rapid advancements over the past decade due to its promising role in green hydrogen production. Ensuring long-term functionality is as crucial as optimizing performance to achieve commercial viability and industrial integration. However, few studies have systematically discussed the degradation issues of this technology. Therefore, a thorough understanding of AEMWE degradation is needed to guide the design, assembly, operation, and maintenance of the device over its lifetime. To address this gap, this review systematically overviewed the heterogeneous degradation of AEMWE across different material and interface levels, focusing on several key components including catalysts, ionomers, membranes, and gas diffusion layers. The influences of these components and their interfaces on the catalytic efficiency, active site density, and mass and electron transfer capabilities were discussed. Moreover, the impacts of operation conditions, including temperature, electrolyte composition, and clamping pressure, on the stable operation of AEMWE were assessed. Accordingly, current mitigation strategies to resolve these degradation phenomena were rigorously evaluated. By offering insights into optimizing operations, designing materials, and improving assessment protocols for AEMWE, this work will contribute to enhancing its stability for large-scale hydrogen production.

Abstract This review compares the efficacy of Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE) and Myomectomy (MYO) in managing symptomatic Uterine Fibroids (UFs) in women who do not want hysterectomy. A meta-analysis was performed on all available studies that evaluated the relative benefits and harms of MYO and UEA for the management of patients suffering from UFs. Outcomes evaluated reintervention, UFs scores for quality of life (QOL) and symptom severity, and other complications. To determine mean differences (MDs) or odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs), a random or fixed-effects model was utilized. In this work, the Hypselotriton populations distributed in eastern Guangdong, China are studied in detail to clarify their taxonomic status. Based on morphological comparison and phylogenetic analysis, H. glaucus syn. nov. is synonymised with H. orphicus. Hypselotriton (Cynotriton) oolong sp. nov. from Mt Fenghuang in Chaozhou which used to be misidentified as H. orphicus, is revealed to be an independent lineage of subgenus Cynotriton and can be distinguished from all known congeners in morphology. By contrast, H. orphicus did not cluster within Cynotriton, but gathered with H. jiaoren comb. nov. to form a distinct unnamed clade within the genus. We therefore re-delimitate the intrageneric classification of the genus and a new subgenus Hakkatriton subgen. nov. is erected, corresponding to this unnamed clade. The Chinese Fire-bellied Newt genus Hypselotriton currently contains three subgenera and about ten known species. Identified keys to the subgenera and related congeners of genus Hypselotriton are further provided.

Abstract Receptor-interacting protein kinase 1 (RIPK1) is a therapeutic target in treating neurodegenerative diseases and cancers. RIPK1 has three distinct functional domains, with the center domain containing a receptor-interacting protein homotypic interaction motif (RHIM), which mediates amyloid formation. The functional amyloid formed by RIPK1 and/or RIPK3 is a crucial intermediate in regulating cell necroptosis. In this study, the amyloid structure of mouse RIPK1, formed by an 82-residue sequence centered at RHIM, is presented. It reveals the “N”-shaped folding of the protein subunit in the fibril with four β-strands. The folding pattern is shared by several amyloid structures formed by proteins with RHIM, with the central β-strand formed by the most conserved tetrad sequence I/VQI/VG. However, the solid-state NMR results indicate a structural difference between mouse RIPK1 and mouse RIPK3. A change in the structural rigidity is also suggested by the observation of weakened signals for mouse RIPK3 upon mixing with RIPK1 to form the RIPK1/RIPK3 complex fibrils. Our results provide vital information to understand the interactions between different proteins with RHIM, which will help us further comprehend the regulation mechanism in cell necroptosis.

Abstract Background The MACF1 gene, found on chromosome 1p34.3, is vital for controlling cytoskeleton dynamics, cell movement, growth, and differentiation. It consists of 101 exons, spanning over 270 kb. The 16p13.11 microduplication syndrome results from the duplication of 16p13.11 chromosome copies and is associated with various neurodevelopmental and physiological abnormalities. Both MACF1 and 16p13.11 microduplication have significant impacts on neural development, potentially leading to nerve damage or neurological diseases. This study presents a unique case of a patient simultaneously experiencing a de novo MACF1 mutation and a hereditary 16p13.11 microduplication, which has not been reported previously. Case presentation In this report, we describe a Chinese preterm newborn girl exhibiting the typical characteristics of 16.13.11 microduplication syndrome. These features include developmental delay, respiratory issues, feeding problems, muscle weakness, excessive joint movement, and multiple congenital abnormalities. Through whole-exome sequencing, we identified a disease-causing mutation in the MACF1 gene (c.15266T > C / p. Met5089Thr). Additionally, after microarray analysis, we confirmed the presence of a 16p13.11 microduplication (chr16:14,916,289 − 16,315,688), which was inherited from the mother. Conclusions The patient’s clinical presentation, marked by muscle weakness and multiple birth defects, may be attributed to both the de novo MACF1 mutation and the 16p13.11 duplication, which could have further amplified her severe symptoms. Genetic testing for individuals with complex clinical manifestations can offer valuable insights for diagnosis and serve as a reference for genetic counseling for both patients and their families.

Abstract Introduction Physical activity (PA) is believed to play an important part in many aspects during childhood and adolescence, especially cardiorespiratory fitness and cardiometabolic health. However, whether different levels of PA in daily life influence the structure or function of heart in school-aged children remains unknown. We aimed to investigate the association between PA and cardiovascular parameters in 7-year-old children. Methods Follow-up data from the Shanghai Prenatal Cohort Study and the Shanghai Birth Cohort was analyzed. Perinatal information including both maternal and offspring datum was recorded. A refined questionnaire was used to evaluate the frequency and duration of children’s PA levels. Blood pressure, echocardiography, and anthropometry assessment were conducted during the follow-up of 7-year-old children. Results Overall, high PA level was associated with higher left ventricle posterior wall thickness in diastole (LVPWd, β coefficient: 0.36, 95% CI: 0.12, 0.61), higher left ventricle mass index (LVMI, β = 0.28, 95% CI: 0.07, 0.48), mitral E/a ratio (β = 0.47, 95% CI: 0.22, 0.71) and slower heart rate (β = -0.32, 95% CI: -0.57, -0.07), compared to low PA level. Medium PA level was associated with lower diastolic blood pressure (DBP, β = -0.18, 95% CI: -0.35, -0.01). In subgroup analysis, increased relative wall thickness (RWT) was found in high PA level boys (β = 0.36, 95% CI: 0.05, 0.67), and systolic blood pressure (SBP) showed a significant decrease in high PA level girls (β = -0.42, 95% CI: -0.78, -0.06). Conclusions This study suggested non-athlete children having higher PA level were associated with thicker left ventricle (LV) walls and better LV diastolic function, as well as slower heart rate and DBP at the age of 7. Furthermore, disparity in the association between PA level with morphological heart patterns and blood pressure existed in different sex category.

Abstract Background Preeclampsia is a severe obstetric disorder that significantly affects the maternal and neonatal peri-partum safety and long-term quality of life. However, there is limited research exploring the common mechanisms and potential clinical significance between early-onset preeclampsia and full-term preeclampsia from an immunological perspective. Methods In this study, data analysis was conducted. Initially, immune-related co-expressed genes involving both subtypes of preeclampsia were identified through Weighted Gene Co-expression Network Analysis (WGCNA). Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses were further employed to investigate the shared pathways regulated by immune-related genes. Binary logistic regression identified co-expressed genes with diagnostic value for preeclampsia, and a diagnostic model was constructed. Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) predicted the potential biological functions of the selected genes. Lasso and Cox regression analyses identified genes closely associated with gestational duration, and a risk score model was established. A 4-gene feature, immune-related gene model for predicting the risk of preterm birth in preeclamptic pregnant women, was developed and validated through qPCR experiments. Immune cell infiltration analysis determined differences in immune cell infiltration between the two subtypes of preeclampsia. Results This study identified 4 immune-related co-expressed genes (CXCR6, PIK3CB, IL1RAP, and OSMR). Additionally, diagnostic and preterm birth risk prediction models for preeclampsia were constructed based on these genes. GSEA analysis suggested the involvement of these genes in the regulation of galactose metabolism, notch signaling pathway, and RIG-I like receptor signaling pathway. Immune pathway analysis indicated that the activation of T cell co-inhibition could be a potential intervention target for immunotherapy in early-onset preeclampsia. Conclusion Our study provides promising insights into immunotherapy and mechanistic research for preeclampsia, discovering novel diagnostic and intervention biomarkers, and offering personalized diagnostic tools for preeclampsia.

Abstract Background Postoperative delirium (POD) is a common surgical complication. However, the incidence and risk factors associated with postoperative delirium after revision total knee arthroplasty (rTKA) have not been comprehensively explored through extensive national databases. Methods Utilizing the National Inpatient Sample (NIS), the largest comprehensive U.S. hospital healthcare database, we undertook a retrospective investigation involving 127,400 patients who underwent rTKA between 2010 and 2019. We assessed various aspects, including patient demographics, hospital characteristics, pre-existing medical conditions, and perioperative complications. Results The overall incidence of postoperative delirium (POD) in patients undergoing rTKA between 2010 and 2019 was 0.97%. The highest incidence rate of 1.31% was recorded in 2013. Notably, this patient cohort demonstrated advanced age, increased burden of co-morbidities, prolonged hospital stays, increased hospitalization costs, and elevated in-hospital mortality rates (P

Abstract On-chip optical power monitors are indispensable for functional implementation and stabilization of large-scale and complex photonic integrated circuits (PICs). Traditional on-chip optical monitoring is implemented by tapping a small portion of optical power from the waveguide, which leads to significant loss. Due to its advantages like non-invasive nature, miniaturization, and complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) process compatibility, a transparent monitor named the contactless integrated photonic probe (CLIPP), has been attracting great attention in recent years. The CLIPP indirectly monitors the optical power in the waveguide by detecting the conductance variation of the local optical waveguide caused by the surface state absorption (SSA) effect. In this review, we first introduce the fundamentals of the CLIPP including the concept, the equivalent electric model and the impedance read-out method, and then summarize some characteristics of the CLIPP. Finally, the functional applications of the CLIPP on the identification and feedback control of optical signal are discussed, followed by a brief outlook on the prospects of the CLIPP. Abstract Polymeric-based dielectric materials hold great potential as energy storage media in electrostatic capacitors. However, the inferior thermal resistance of polymers leads to severely degraded dielectric energy storage capabilities at elevated temperatures, limiting their applications in harsh environments. Here we present a flexible laminated polymer nanocomposite where the polymer component is confined at the nanoscale, achieving improved thermal-mechanical-electrical stability within the resulting nanocomposite. The nanolaminate, consisting of nanoconfined polyetherimide (PEI) polymer sandwiched between solid Al2O3 layers, exhibits a high energy density of 18.9 J/cm3 with a high energy efficiency of ~ 91% at elevated temperature of 200°C. Our work demonstrates that nanoconfinement of PEI polymer results in reduced diffusion coefficient and constrained thermal dynamics, leading to a remarkable increase of 37°C in glass-transition temperature compared to bulk PEI polymer. The combined effects of nanoconfinement and interfacial trapping within the nanolaminates synergistically contribute to improved electrical breakdown strength and enhanced energy storage performance across temperature range up to 250°C. By utilizing the flexible ultrathin nanolaminate on curved surfaces such as thin metal wires, we introduce an innovative concept that enables the creation of a highly efficient and compact metal-wired capacitor, achieving substantial capacitance despite the minimal device volume.

Abstract Strong early growth vigor is an essential target in both direct seeded rice breeding and high-yielding rice breeding for rice varieties with relatively short growth duration in the double-cropping region. Shoot dry weight (SDW) is one of the important traits associated with early growth vigor, and breeders have been working to improve this trait. Finding stable QTLs or functional genes for SDW is crucial for improving the early growth vigor by implementing molecular breeding in rice. Here, a genome-wide association analysis revealed that the QTL for SDW, qSDW-5, was stably detected in the three cultivation methods commonly used in production practice. Through gene-based haplotype analysis of the annotated genes within the putative region of qSDW-5, and validated by gene expression and knockout transgenic experiments, LOC_Os05g09520, which is identical to the reported GW5/GSE5 controlling grain width (GW) and thousand grain weight (TGW) was identified as the causal gene for qSDW-5. Five main haplotypes of LOC_Os05g09520 were identified in the diverse international rice collection used in this study and their effects on SDW, GW and TGW were analyzed. Phenotypic comparisons of the major haplotypes of LOC_Os05g09520 in the three subpopulations (indica, japonica and aus) revealed the same patterns of wider GW and higher TGW along with higher SDW. Furtherly, the haplotype analysis of 138 rice varieties/lines widely used in southern China showed that 97.8% of the cultivars/lines carry Hap2 LOC_Os05g09520 . These results not only provide a promising gene source for the molecular breeding of rice varieties with strong early growth vigor, but also elucidate the effect of the LOC_Os05g09520 haplotypes on SDW, GW, and TGW in rice. Importantly, this study provides direct genetic evidence that these three traits are significantly correlated, and suggests a breeding strategy for developing high-yielding and slender grain-shaped indica cultivars with strong early growth vigor.

Abstract Energy management strategy is the essential approach for achieving high energy utilization efficiency of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) due to their ultra-high intrinsic impedance. However, the proven management efficiency in practical applications remains low, and the output regulation functionality is still lacking. Herein, we propose a detailed energy transfer and extraction mechanism addressing voltage and charge losses caused by the crucial switches in energy management circuits. The energy conversion efficiency is increased by 8.5 times through synergistical optimization of TENG and switch configurations. Furthermore, a TENG-based power supply with energy storage and regularization functions is realized through system circuit design, demonstrating the stable powering electronic devices under irregular mechanical stimuli. A rotating TENG that only works for 21 s can make a hygrothermograph work stably for 417 s. Even under hand driving, various types of TENGs can consistently provide stable power to electronic devices such as calculators and mini-game consoles. This work provides an in-depth energy transfer and conversion mechanism between TENGs and energy management circuits, and also addresses the technical challenge in converting unstable mechanical energy into stable and usable electricity in the TENG field.

Abstract Dielectric capacitors are highly desired for electronic systems owing to their high-power density and ultrafast charge/discharge capability. However, the current dielectric capacitors suffer severely from the thermal instabilities, with sharp deterioration of energy storage performance at elevated temperatures. Here, guided by phase-field simulations, we conceived and fabricated the self-assembled metadielectric nanostructure with HfO2 as second-phase in BaHf0.17Ti0.83O3 relaxor ferroelectric matrix. The metadielectric structure can not only effectively increase breakdown strength, but also broaden the working temperature to 400 oC due to the enhanced relaxation behavior and substantially reduced conduction loss. The energy storage density of the metadielectric film capacitors can achieve to 85 joules per cubic centimeter with energy efficiency exceeding 81% in the temperature range from 25 °C to 400 °C. This work shows the fabrication of capacitors with potential applications in high-temperature electric power systems and provides a strategy for designing advanced electrostatic capacitors through a metadielectric strategy.

This paper presents a wide-bandwidth back-illuminated modified uni-traveling-carrier photodiode (MUTC-PD) packaged with standard WR-5 rectangular waveguide for high-speed wireless communications. With optimized epitaxy structure and coplanar waveguide electrodes, the fabricated 4-μm-diameter PD exhibits ultra-flat frequency response and high saturation power. Integrated passive circuits including low-loss bias-tee and E-plane probe are designed to package the PD into a compact module with waveguide output. The packaged PD module has demonstrated a flat frequency response with fluctuations within ±2.75 dB over a broadband of 140–220 GHz and a high saturated output power of −7.8 dBm (166 μW) at 140 GHz. For wireless communication applications, the packaged PD is used to implement 1-m free space transmission at carrier frequencies of 150.5 and 210.5 GHz, with transmission rates of 75 and 90 Gbps, respectively.

Abstract Background Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a significant risk factor for pulmonary hypertension (PH), a complication that adversely affects patient prognosis. However, the mechanisms underlying this association remain poorly understood. A major obstacle to progress in this field is the lack of a reliable animal model replicating CKD-PH. Methods This study aimed to establish a stable rat model of CKD-PH. We employed a combined approach, inducing CKD through a 5/6 nephrectomy and concurrently exposing the rats to a high-salt diet. The model's hemodynamics were evaluated dynamically, alongside a comprehensive assessment of pathological changes in multiple organs. Lung tissues and serum samples were collected from the CKD-PH rats to analyze the expression of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), evaluate the activity of key vascular components within the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system (RAAS), and characterize alterations in the serum metabolic profile. Results At 14 weeks post-surgery, the CKD-PH rats displayed significant changes in hemodynamic parameters indicative of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Additionally, right ventricular hypertrophy was observed. Notably, no evidence of pulmonary vascular remodeling was found. Further analysis revealed RAAS dysregulation and downregulated ACE2 expression within the pulmonary vascular endothelium of CKD-PH rats. Moreover, the serum metabolic profile of these animals differed markedly from the sham surgery group. Conclusions Our findings suggest that the development of pulmonary arterial hypertension in CKD-PH rats is likely a consequence of a combined effect: RAAS dysregulation, decreased ACE2 expression in pulmonary vascular endothelial cells, and metabolic disturbances. Abstract Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) involves intestinal epithelial damage and inflammatory response and is associated with high morbidity and mortality in infants. To improve therapeutic prospects, elucidating underlying molecular mechanisms of intestinal epithelial damage during NEC is of the essence. Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1)-dependent parthanatos is a programmed inflammatory cell death. In the present study, the presence of parthanatos-associated proteins PARP1 and poly (ADP-ribose) (PAR), along with high expression of DNA damage-associated biomarkers, 8-hydroxy-2’-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) and phosphorylation of histone H2AX (γH2AX), were discovered in the intestinal tissues of NEC infants. Additionally, the upregulated expression of PARP1 and PAR in NEC intestinal tissues correlated distinctly with clinical indices indicative of NEC incidence and severity. Furthermore, we demonstrated that inhibiting the expression of parthanatos-associated proteins, by either pharmacological blockage using 3-aminobenzamide (3-AB), an inhibitor of PARP1, or genetic knockout using Parp1-deficient mice, resulted in substantial improvements in both histopathological severity scores associated with intestinal injury and inflammatory reactions. Moreover, in an in vitro NEC model, reactive oxygen species (ROS)-induced DNA damage promoted the formation of PAR and nuclear translocation of apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF), thus activating PARP1-dependent parthanatos in Caco-2 cells and human intestinal organoids. Our work verifies a previously unexplored role for parthanatos in intestinal epithelial damage during NEC and suggests that inhibition of parthanatos may serve as a potential therapeutic strategy for intervention of NEC.

Abstract While numerous single nucleotide variants and small indels have been identified in Parkinson’s disease (PD), the contribution of structural variants (SVs), copy number variants (CNVs), and short tandem repeats (STRs) remains poorly understood. Here we investigated the association using the high-depth whole-genome sequencing data from 466 Chinese PD patients and 513 controls. Totally, we identified 29,561 SVs, 32,153 CNVs, and 174,905 STRs, and found that CNV deletions were significantly enriched in the end-proportion of autosomal chromosomes in PD. After genome-wide association analysis and replication in an external cohort of 352 cases and 547 controls, we validated that the 1.6 kb-deletion neighboring MUC19, 12.4kb-deletion near RXFP1 and GGGAAA repeats in SLC2A13 were significantly associated with PD. Moreover, the MUC19 deletion and the SLC2A13 5-copy repeat reduced the penetrance of the LRRK2 G2385R variant. Moreover, genes with these variants were dosage-sensitive. These data provided novel insights into the genetic architecture of PD.

Abstract The proficient handling of diabetic wounds, a rising issue coinciding with the global escalation of diabetes cases, poses significant clinical difficulties. A range of biofunctional dressings have been engineered and produced to expedite the healing process of diabetic wounds. This study proposes a multifunctional hydrogel dressing for diabetic wound healing, which is composed of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) and N1-(4-boronobenzyl)-N3-(4-boronophenyl)-N1, N1, N3, N3-teramethylpropane-1, 3-diaminium (TSPBA), and a dual-drug loaded Gelatin methacryloyl (GM) microgel. The GM microgel is loaded with sodium fusidate (SF) and nanoliposomes (LP) that contain metformin hydrochloride (MH). Notably, adhesive and self-healing properties the hydrogel enhance their therapeutic potential and ease of application. In vitro assessments indicate that SF-infused hydrogel can eliminate more than 98% of bacteria within 24 h and maintain a sustained release over 15 days. Additionally, MH incorporated within the hydrogel has demonstrated effective glucose level regulation for a duration exceeding 15 days. The hydrogel demonstrates a sustained ability to neutralize ROS throughout the entire healing process, predominantly by electron donation and sequestration. This multifunctional hydrogel dressing, which integrated biological functions of efficient bactericidal activity against both MSSA and MRSA strains, blood glucose modulation, and control of active oxygen levels, has successfully promoted the healing of diabetic wounds in rats in 14 days. The hydrogel dressing exhibited significant effectiveness in facilitating the healing process of diabetic wounds, highlighting its considerable promise for clinical translation. Graphical Abstract

Cancer cells refer to a group of malignant cells with strong division and proliferation abilities. Cancer cells rely on the unstable plunder of human nutrition to sustain the large amount of energy that they need for their own division and proliferation. The division and proliferation of cancer cells are linked to the synthesis and replication of genetic material in the nucleus. Blockage or destruction of the synthesis of genetic material in cancer cells is one of the mechanisms underlying the action of most antitumor drugs. As the key material that dominates cell division, proliferation, and death, nuclear genetic material which mainly refers to the deoxyribonucleic acid located on the chromatin in the nucleus, plays a decisive role in the final fate of cells. The final fate of cancer cells after the damage of the genetic material is worthy of investigation and analysis. In this paper, we discuss and analyze the fate of cancer cells after genetic material damage from the aspect of cellular cycle arrest, apoptosis, autophagy, and senescence to provide ideas for the mechanism research on antitumor drugs.

Abstract This study explores migrasomes' role in neuroblastoma, a common malignant tumor in children, and their potential impact on tumor formation. We analyzed neuroblastoma RNA-seq datasets from public databases, including GSE62564, GSE181559, target, and fwr144. Through data normalization and unsupervised classification using migrasome-specific molecular markers, Differentially Expressed Genes were identified, followed by functional enrichment analysis. Our novel migrasome-associated machine learning model, MigScore, was developed using ten algorithms and 101 combinations, validated on two single-cell datasets. This enabled immune infiltration assessment and drug compatibility prediction, highlighting the utility of MS275, a histone deacetylase inhibitor. Results showed a significant inverse relationship between MigScore and favorable clinical outcomes, elucidating the link between migrasome pathways and tumor immunogenicity. These findings suggest that migrasomes are crucial in neuroblastoma prognosis, leading to the possibility of personalized treatment strategies and improved outcomes.

Abstract Background As a subtype of pulmonary hypertension (PH), pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (PVOD) is devastating and life-threatening disease without effective therapy. Hydrogen has been reported to exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects in a rat model induced by monocrotaline of PH. In this study, we investigated the effects of inhaled hydrogen gas on the prevention and treatment of PVOD induced by mitomycin C (MMC) in rats. Methods PVOD was induced in female Sprague-Dawley rats through intraperitoneal injection of MMC at a concentration of 3 mg·kg− 1·wk− 1 for 2 weeks. Inhalation of hydrogen gas (H2) was administered through a designed rat cage concurrently or two weeks after MMC administration. The severity of PVOD was assessed by using hemodynamic measurements and histological analysis. The expression levels of general control nonderepressible 2 (GCN2), nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor-2 (Nrf2), heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) and endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndoMT) related proteins in lung tissue were measured. Levels of lipid peroxidation pro-inflammatory cytokines in serum were determined. Results Inhaled H2 improved hemodynamics and right heart function, reversed right ventricular hypertrophy, and prevented pulmonary vessel reconstitution in both prevention and treatment approaches. It decreased malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in the serum and the expression of NADPH oxidase 1 (NOX-1) in lung tissue. It regulated Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway and anti-inflammatory factor GCN2 in lung tissue, accompanied by a decrease in macrophages and pro-inflammatory cytokines. Our data suggested that H2 inhalation effectively countered EndoMT induced by MMC, as evidenced by the detection of endothelial markers (e.g., VE-cadherin and CD31) and mesenchymal markers (e.g., vimentin and fibronectin). Further research revealed that H2 preserved p-Smad3 and induced p-Smad1/5/9. Conclusion Inhalation of H2 effectively inhibits the pathogenesis of PVOD induced by MMC in rats. This inhibitory effect may be attributed to the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of H2.

Species richness generally decreases with increasing latitude, a biodiversity gradient that has long been considered as one of the few laws in ecology. This latitudinal diversity gradient has been observed in many major groups of organisms. In plants, the latitudinal diversity gradient has been observed in vascular plants, angiosperms, ferns, and liverworts. However, a conspicuous latitudinal diversity gradient in mosses at a global or continental scale has not been observed until now. Here, we analyze a comprehensive data set including moss species in each band of 20° in latitude worldwide. Our results show that moss species richness decreases strongly with increasing latitude, regardless of whether the globe is considered as a whole or different longitudinal segments (e.g., Old World versus New World) are considered separately. This result holds when variation in area size among latitudinal bands is taken into account. Pearson's correlation coefficient between latitude and species richness is −0.99 for both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Because bryophytes are an extant lineage of early land plants and because mosses not only include most of extant species of bryophytes but also are important constituents of most terrestrial ecosystems, understanding geographic patterns of mosses is particularly important. The finding of our study fills a critical knowledge gap.

Abstract Our study presents the assembly of a high-quality Taihu goose genome at the Telomere-to-Telomere (T2T) level. By employing advanced sequencing technologies, including Pacific Biosciences HiFi reads, Oxford Nanopore long reads, Illumina short reads, and chromatin conformation capture (Hi-C), we achieved an exceptional assembly. The T2T assembly encompasses a total length of 1,197,991,206 bp, with contigs N50 reaching 33,928,929 bp and scaffold N50 attaining 81,007,908 bp. It consists of 73 scaffolds, including 38 autosomes and one pair of Z/W sex chromosomes. Importantly, 33 autosomes were assembled without any gap, resulting in a contiguous representation. Furthermore, gene annotation efforts identified 34,898 genes, including 436,162 RNA transcripts, encompassing 806,158 exons, 743,910 introns, 651,148 coding sequences (CDS), and 135,622 untranslated regions (UTR). The T2T-level chromosome-scale goose genome assembly provides a vital foundation for future genetic improvement and understanding the genetic mechanisms underlying important traits in geese.

Abstract Background The canine influenza virus (CIV) outbreak has garnered considerable attention as it poses a significant threat to dog health. During the H3N2 CIV evolution in beagles, the virus formed a new clade after 2019 and gradually became more adaptable to other mammals. Therefore, successfully elucidating the biological characteristics and constructing a canine influenza infection model is required for CIV characterization. Methods We performed genetic analyses to examine the biological characteristics and infection dynamics of CIV. Results The genotype of our H3N2 CIV strain (from 2019 in Shanghai) belonged to the 5.1 clade, which is now prevalent in China. Using MDCK cells, we investigated viral cytopathic effects. Virus size and morphology were observed using transmission electron microscopy. Beagles were also infected with 104, 105, and 106 50% egg-infectious doses (EID50). When compared with the other groups, the 106 EID50 group showed the most obvious clinical symptoms, the highest virus titers, and typical lung pathological changes. Our results suggested that the other two treatments caused mild clinical manifestations and pathological changes. Subsequently, CIV distribution in the 106 EID50 group was detected by hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) and immunofluorescence (IF) staining, which indicated that CIV primarily infected the lungs. Conclusions The framework established in this study will guide further CIV prevention strategies.

Abstract Background The gut microbiota significantly influences the health and growth of red-spotted grouper (Epinephelus akaara), a well-known commercial marine fish from Fujian Province in southern China. However, variations in survival strategies and seasons can impact the stability of gut microbiota data, rendering it inaccurate in reflecting the state of gut microbiota. Which impedes the effective enhancement of aquaculture health through a nuanced understanding of gut microbiota. Inspired by this, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the gut microbiota of wild and captive E. akaara in four seasons. Results Seventy-two E. akaara samples were collected from wild and captive populations in Dongshan city, during four different seasons. Four sections of the gut were collected to obtain comprehensive information on the gut microbial composition and sequenced using 16S rRNA next-generation Illumina MiSeq. We observed the highest gut microbial diversity in both captive and wild E. akaara during the winter season, and identified strong correlations with water temperature using Mantel analysis. Compared to wild E. akaara, we found a more complex microbial network in captive E. akaara, as evidenced by increased abundance of Bacillaceae, Moraxellaceae and Enterobacteriaceae. In contrast, Vibrionaceae, Clostridiaceae, Flavobacteriaceae and Rhodobacteraceae were found to be more active in wild E. akaara. However, some core microorganisms, such as Firmicutes and Photobacterium, showed similar distribution patterns in both wild and captive groups. Moreover, we found the common community composition and distribution characteristics of top 10 core microbes from foregut to hindgut in E. akaara. Conclusions Collectively, the study provides relatively more comprehensive description of the gut microbiota in E. akaara, taking into account survival strategies and temporal dimensions, which yields valuable insights into the gut microbiota of E. akaara and provides a valuable reference to its aquaculture.

Abstract We aimed to distinguish Synodontis eupterus and Synodontis polli. We performed sequencing and bioinformatic analysis of their mitochondrial genomes and constructed a phylogenetic tree of Mochokidae fish using maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods based on protein-coding gene (PCG) sequences of 14 Mochokidae species. The total length of the S. eupterus mitochondrial genome was 16,579 bp, including 13 (PCGs), 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes, and one D-loop, with an AT-biased nucleotide composition (56.0%). The total length of the S. polli mitochondrial genome was 16,544 bp, including 13 PCGs, 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes, and one D-loop, with an AT-biased nucleotide composition (55.0%). In both species, except for COI, PCGs use ATG as the starting codon, the vast majority use TAG or TAA as the ending codon, and a few use incomplete codons (T - or TA -) as the ending codon. Phylogenetic analysis showed that S. eupterus and Synodontis clarias converged into one branch, S. polli and Synodontis petricola converged into one branch, Mochokiella paynei, Mochokus brevis, and nine species of the genus Synodontis converged into one branch, and M. paynei clustered with the genus Synodontis. This study lays a foundation for rebuilding a clearer Mochokidae fish classification system.

Abstract Base editing (BE) faces protospacer adjacent motif (PAM) constraints and off-target effects in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes. For Streptomyces, renowned as one of the most prolific bacterial producers of antibiotics, the challenges are more pronounced due to its diverse genomic content and high GC content. Here, we develop a base editor named eSCBE3-NG-Hypa, tailored with both high efficiency and -fidelity for Streptomyces. Of note, eSCBE3-NG-Hypa recognizes NG PAM and exhibits high activity at challenging sites with high GC content or GC motifs, while displaying minimal off-target effects. To illustrate its practicability, we employ eSCBE3-NG-Hypa to achieve precise key amino acid conversion of the dehydratase (DH) domains within the modular polyketide synthase (PKS) responsible for the insecticide avermectins biosynthesis, achieving domains inactivation. The resulting DH-inactivated mutants, while ceasing avermectins production, produce a high yield of oligomycin, indicating competitive relationships among multiple biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) in Streptomyces avermitilis. Leveraging this insight, we use eSCBE3-NG-Hypa to introduce premature stop codons into competitor gene cluster of ave in an industrial S. avermitilis, with the mutant Δolm exhibiting the highest 4.45-fold increase in avermectin B1a compared to the control. This work provides a potent tool for modifying biosynthetic pathways and advancing metabolic engineering in Streptomyces.

Abstract Background Diabetic wounds present significant challenges, specifically in terms of bacterial infection and delayed healing. Therefore, it is crucial to address local bacterial issues and promote accelerated wound healing. In this investigation, we utilized electrospinning to fabricate microgel/nanofiber membranes encapsulating MXene-encapsulated microgels and chitosan/gelatin polymers. Results The film dressing facilitates programmed photothermal therapy (PPT) and mild photothermal therapy (MPTT) under near-infrared (NIR), showcasing swift and extensive antibacterial and biofilm-disrupting capabilities. The PPT effect achieves prompt sterilization within 5 min at 52 °C and disperses mature biofilm within 10 min. Concurrently, by adjusting the NIR power to induce local mild heating (42 °C), the dressing stimulates fibroblast proliferation and migration, significantly enhancing vascularization. Moreover, in vivo experimentation successfully validates the film dressing, underscoring its immense potential in addressing the intricacies of diabetic wounds. Conclusions The MXene microgel-loaded nanofiber dressing employs temperature-coordinated photothermal therapy, effectively amalgamating the advantageous features of high-temperature sterilization and low-temperature promotion of wound healing. It exhibits rapid, broad-spectrum antibacterial and biofilm-disrupting capabilities, exceptional biocompatibility, and noteworthy effects on promoting cell proliferation and vascularization. These results affirm the efficacy of our nanofiber dressing, highlighting its significant potential in addressing the challenge of diabetic wounds struggling to heal due to infection. Introduction: Prophylactic antifungal therapy has been widely used for critical patients, but it has failed to improve patient prognosis and has become a hot topic. This may be related to disruption of fungal homeostasis, but the mechanism of fungi action is not clear. As a common pathway in critical patients, intestinal ischemia–reperfusion (IIR) injury is fatal and regulated by gut microbiota. However, the exact role of enteric fungi in IIR injury remains unclear. Objectives: This is a clinical study that aims to provide new perspectives in clarifying the underlying mechanism of IIR injury and propose potential strategies that could be relevant for the prevention and treatment of IIR injury in the near future. Methods: ITS sequencing was performed to detect the changes in fungi before and after IIR injury. The composition of enteric fungi was altered by pretreatment with single-fungal strains, fluconazole and mannan, respectively. Intestinal morphology and function impairment were evaluated in the IIR injury mouse model. Intestinal epithelial MODE-K cells and macrophage RAW264.7 cells were cultured for in vitro tests. Results: Fecal fungi diversity revealed the obvious alteration in IIR patients and mice, accompanied by intestinal epithelial barrier dysfunction. Fungal colonization and mannan supplementation could reverse intestinal morphology and function impairment that were exacerbated by fluconazole via inhibiting the expression of SAA1 from macrophages and decreasing pyroptosis of intestinal epithelial cells. Clodronate liposomes were used to deplete the number of macrophages, and it was demonstrated that the protective effect of mannan was dependent on macrophage involvement. Conclusion: This finding firstly validates that enteric fungi play a crucial role in IIR injury. Preventive antifungal treatment should consider damaging fungal balance. This study provides a novel clue to clarify the role of enteric fungi in maintaining intestinal homeostasis.

Aronia melanocarpa is a berry with unique edible and medicinal value. It boasts a high content of polysaccharides, anthocyanins, and various other bioactive ingredients. These compounds exhibit multiple effects such as antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, modulation of blood sugar and lipid, hypotensive function, anti-cancer, and amelioration of depressive symptoms. The applications of Aronia melanocarpa span across the realms of food, pharmaceuticals, and health products. Predominantly, Aronia melanocarpa products are presented in the form of juice, wine, and powder, etc., employing rather straightforward processing techniques. Notably, industries revolving around this berry are nascent, indicating expansive market opportunities. This review mainly focuses on the active ingredients, efficacy and the current developmental trajectory of Aronia melanocarpa products. The objective is to provide a comprehensive reference for high-value development of Aronia melanocarpa and catalyzing the growth of associated industries.

Groundwater vulnerability to nitrate assessment serves as a measure of potential groundwater nitrate pollution in a target area. This study applies the DRASTIC-LU framework, nitrate distribution data, and three machine learning models (RF, XGB, SVM) to classify nitrate levels (exceeding 10 mg/L as nitrogen) in Chongqing, China. Model evaluation uses accuracy and F1 score metrics, with RF achieving the highest accuracy (92.9%), kappa (0.857), and AUC (0.948) on test dataset. Furthermore, the SHAP interpreter revealed that aquifer conductivity, lithology, agricultural activities, areas with high-intensity development, and groundwater recharge are the most influential indicators of groundwater vulnerability. The final groundwater vulnerability level distribution map, with a resolution of 1 km × 1 km, reveals that high and extremely high vulnerability levels are concentrated in areas with high-intensity urban development and karst trough valleys in the southeastern, northeastern, and central urban areas. This work represents the first attempt of using machine learning models for groundwater vulnerability assessment in the Chongqing region. It provides theoretical support for the construction layout of groundwater monitoring stations and the prevention and control of groundwater pollution in the future.
