The cost of software maintenance increases as the continuous iterative development of software.To reduce this cost,automated software refactoring is proven to be an effective solution.One of the most typical automated software refactoring approaches is the search-based refactoring.This approach refactors software according to some predefined objectives.Existing stu-dies show that the selection of objectives plays a decisive role in the search process.Although many quality objectives and non-quality objectives are proposed,there is no research to analyze that in the same evaluation framework which objectives can guide the software refactoring to achieve results that meet developers’ expectations.Meanwhile,whether the combination of quality objectives and non-quality objectives will have better results is not analyzed.To answer these questions,this paper designs a search-based multi-objective software refactoring evaluation framework.Under the framework,this paper investigates the impact of the combination of seven different objectives on software refactoring with six open-source software projects in different scales;the software quality before and after refactoring is evaluated using a variety of indicators,and the effectiveness of different objective combinations is also analyzed.Experimental results show that the combination of quality objectives and non-quality objectives can better improve the effectiveness of software refactoring than using one single type of objectives,and the combination of the ‘qua-lity’ objective and the ‘similarity with recorded code changes’ objective is important to the improvement of software refactoring effectiveness.

Objective: To evaluate value of blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for early renal hypoxia assessment in chronic kidney disease(CKD). Methods: Fifty-two patients with CKD and 52 age- and sex-matched health volunteers underwent BOLD MRI of the kidneys. Serum creatinine (sCr) levels and estimated GFR (eGFR) were collected. The patients were classified into 5 stages according to the National Kidney Foundation′s Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative. Difference in R2*s were compared between patients and volunteers and among different stages of CKD. Results: In patients with CKD and volunteers, R2* of renal medulla was higher than that of renal cortex (P0.05). However, medullar R2*s were lower in patients with CKD1 [(16.55 ± 2.12)/s], CKD4 [(16.48 ± 2.95)/s], or CKD5 [(13.99 ± 2.21)/s] than those in volunteers [(18.17± 2.38)/s] (P

To ensure the computational accuracy for the offshore high voltage direct current substation local structure and its large and complex electrical equipment, it is necessary to reduce the modeling complexity and improve the calculation efficiency. Thus, a simplified vibration model with constant key physical parameters was established; the converter valve was used as a test design example and a lower number of samples was used. Finally, the response surface fitting was carried out. Based on the machine learning concept, problems such as the loss of physical meaning of complex system matrices and low iteration efficiency, caused by high-dimensional matrix operations were avoided. In addition, the deterministic screening experiment design greatly reduced the number of samples needed while also ensuring the second-order effect. The fit between the response surface equation and experimental results was good after optimizing the relevant design factors based on the vibration equation. The comparison between the simplified vibration converter valve model and the original complex model has shown that the errors for various physical parameters and the vibration characteristics were below 5% and that the model simplification degree was 95%.

Objectives: To develop a predictive model for patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) in preterm infants at seven days postpartum. The model employs ultrasound measurements of the ductus arteriosus (DA) intimal thickness (IT) obtained within 24 h after birth., Methods: One hundred and five preterm infants with gestational ages ranging from 27.0 to 36.7 weeks admitted within 24 h following birth were prospectively enrolled. Echocardiographic assessments were performed to measure DA IT within 24 h after birth, and DA status was evaluated through echocardiography on the seventh day postpartum. Potential predictors were considered, including traditional clinical risk factors, M-mode ultrasound parameters, lumen diameter of the DA (LD), and DA flow metrics. A final prediction model was formulated through bidirectional stepwise regression analysis and subsequently subjected to internal validation. The model's discriminative ability, calibration, and clinical applicability were also assessed., Results: The final predictive model included birth weight, application of mechanical ventilation, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDd), LD, and the logarithm of IT (logIT). The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve for the model, predicated on logIT, exhibited excellent discriminative power with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.985 (95% CI: 0.966-1.000), sensitivity of 1.000, and specificity of 0.909. Moreover, the model demonstrated robust calibration and goodness-of-fit ( χ 2 value = 0.560, p  > 0.05), as well as strong reproducibility (accuracy: 0.935, Kappa: 0.773), as evidenced by 10-fold cross-validation. A decision curve analysis confirmed the model's broad clinical utility., Conclusions: Our study successfully establishes a predictive model for PDA in preterm infants at seven days postpartum, leveraging the measurement of DA IT. Violashiweii Xiao C. Li & Z. W. Wang (Violaceae), a new species from Guizhou, China, is described, based on morphological and molecular evidence. Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide, and the therapeutic application of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is limited due to its nonspecificity, low bioavailability, and overdose. The present study is an attempt to improve the chemotherapeutic efficacy of 5-FU in colon cancers. Therefore, we have prepared 5-FU-loaded hyaluronic acid (HA)-conjugated silica nanoparticles (SiNPs) to target to colon cancer cells. In this study, we have showed the specific binding and intracellular accumulation of targeted nanoparticles based on HA surface modifications in colon carcinoma cells. The particles had spherical shapes with sizes of approximately 130 nm. HA-conjugated nanoparticles showed a sustained release pattern for 5-FU and continuously released for 120 hours. We have further investigated the cytotoxicity potential of targeted and nontargeted nanoparticles in colo-205 cancer cells. IC50 value of 5-FU/hyaluronic acid-conjugated silica nanoparticles (HSNP) was 0.65 µg/mL compared with ~2.8 µg/mL for 5-FU/SNP after 24 hours of incubation. The result clearly showed that HA-conjugated NP was more effective in inducing apoptosis in cancer cells than nontargeted NP. The 5-FU/HSNP showed ~45% of cell apoptosis (early and late apoptosis stage) compared with only 20% for 5-FU/silica nanoparticles (SNP)-treated group. The HA-conjugated nanoparticles provide the possibility of efficient drug transport into tumors that could effectively reduce the side effects in the normal tissues. 5-FU/HSNP was highly efficient in suppressing the tumor growth in xenograft tumor model. The proportion of Ki67 in 5-FU/HSNP-treated group was significantly lower than that of either free drug or nontargeted SiNPs. Altogether, we have showed that conjugation of HA to SiNPs could result in enhanced uptake of 5-FU through CD44-mediated endocytosis uptake and could result in significant antitumor efficacy. Thus, 5-FU/HSNP could be a promising drug delivery system for colon cancer therapy.
