A technology for the utilization of technogenic waste from the oil and gas industrial complex (sulfur) and ash and slag waste from the combined heat and power plant for the manufacture of thermal insulation material with high strength and performance properties has been developed. A technological scheme is proposed. The optimal parameters and composition of the obtained thermal insulation materials have been determined. A numerical method for determining the thermal conductivity coefficient of a building product based on the calculation of a stationary temperature field is considered. The dependence of the thermal conductivity coefficient of a block on the value of the thermal conductivity coefficients of the base material and filler is obtained. The efficiency of block insulation has been determined. This method can be used at the design stage of wall products, varying their overall dimensions, the geometry of the slots and also using various thermal insulating materials as a void filler.

Electroplating technology is an important technological process at production facilities of various profiles. The electroplating baths are a source of hazardous emissions of toxic vapors and aerosols. In factories with electroplating sites, the crucial task is to eliminate hazardous emissions by applying an effective exhaust ventilation and air purification system for subsequent air discharge into the atmosphere. In this article two basic schemes for cleaning process emissions from electroplating baths were developed: a scheme with purification in scrubbers; a scheme with purification in scrubbers with pre-filtration. The advantages and disadvantages of each scheme were considered. Based on the amount of hazardous emissions and their dispersed composition, the purification efficiency of each scheme was calculated using the probabilistic method. In view of the calculations, a scheme for cleaning process emissions from the electroplating line with the highest purification efficiency has been identified.

Concern for the sustainable management and recycling of solid waste is becoming more visible in all sectors of the economy. This study explores the possibility of using coal ash residue (waste from Kazan CHPP-2) as a substitute for fine-grained aggregate in sulfur concrete. The trend towards an increase in the level of utilization of waste heat power engineering is an important task. The chemical composition, microstructure and mechanical properties, including density, water absorption, compressive strength and thermal conductivity of sulfur concrete, including coal ash with partial and complete sand replacement, were investigated and the results were compared with those for standard cellular concrete. The authors studied modern heat-insulating materials and materials from industrial waste products. The article analyzes the estimated thickness of the insulating material depending on the type of structure. Outside walls made of sulfur concrete, in addition to high strength properties, have high thermal and economic performance.
