Emotions are the feelings of a person and the reaction to a situation. People can verbally or nonverbally convey their feelings. In the literature ofSpeech emotion recognition, many of the techniques have used traditional ways to detect emotions, this paper present different way of recognizing emotions, by speech signals are processed by CNN to extract features, the extracted features are then used to input SVM. The SVM outputs the predicted emotions. From this approach we improved accuracy by testing and training the models based on the input audio data

The hot and semi-arid region is prone to meteorological droughts; the lack of rain is frequently accompanied by hot temperatures, strong winds, and low humidity, which has the impact of limiting nutrient uptake and agricultural yields. To overcome this problem a field study conducted during June, 2020 kharif season at farmers field, Chinna Dudyala village, Muddanur, Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh aimed to determine the effect of organic mulches and foliar spray of kaolin on NPK uptake in enhancing yield and economics of dry land maize (Zea mays). One of the most important techniques for preserving soil moisture was mulching, which also reduces evapotranspiration when anti-transpirants are used. The experiment comprised nine treatments (T1 to T9) with four types of organic mulches viz., Paddy straw, Ground-nut haulm, Coir-pith, and Sugarcane trash, with foliar spray of kaolin intervals on 40 DAS, 20 & 40 DAS and farmers practice to minimize water stress and improve the nutrient uptake by plant. Among the application of the treatments, coir-pith mulch + foliar spray of kaolin @ 3.0% (T6) on 20 DAS & 40 DAS had significant effect on NPK uptake with N (187.15 kg ha-1), P (69.60 kg ha-1) and K (156.22 kg ha-1) and enhanced grain yield (6976 kg ha-1) and stover yield (10980 kg ha-1), highest gross returns (138034 ₹. ha-1) and BCR (2.63) and was superior to all the other treatments. The present study would help to effectively utilise the available resources, enhance growth and productivity in maize crop and to make economically viable to the farmers of semi-arid regions.

Marketing strategies are focusing on consumer satisfaction. So companies must focus more on elements of brand image to catch the attention and maximize the sales. And it is useful to companies to attract and retain the existing consumer to sustain and survival in changing market condition.

A study is being conducted to determine the normality of high school teachers' teaching aptitude in the Tamilnadu districts of Salem and Namakkal. Two hundred and fifty teachers were randomly chosen from thirty six Community Developmental (CD) educational blocks for a brief survey. Battery of Teaching Aptitude Test, standardized by Shamim Karim & Ashok Kumar Dixit (1986) has been employed to assess teaching aptitude. The data were subjected to descriptive analysis in order to determine the normality of the high school teachers' teaching aptitude scores. The results demonstrated that high school teachers' normal distribution scores deviated slightly from normality. The sample's general teaching aptitude was average in character, and 60.80% of teachers scoring lies within the Mean±1σ boundary limit of the normal probability curve. 22.0 percent of high school teachers have a low level of teaching aptitude in the range of less than Mean-1σ range limit. According to the Mean+1σ mentioned range limitations, 17.20% of school teachers have excellent teaching aptitude. The pre-service teacher education training programmes for prospective student teachers are strengthened with training strategies to promote and enhance required teaching aptitude.

Photocatalytic studies are primarily focused on the low cost and sustainable materials with suitable bandgap and high surface area. The ultra-fast electron-hole pair recombination and limited light absorptions affect the efficiency of photocatalyst in an adverse manner, which can be unravelled by choosing an efficient combination of photocatalysts and suitable co-catalyst/support materials. The present work explores the combination of low-cost and high potential activated carbon and TiO2 as a nanocomposite, prepared through a one-pot hydrothermal process for hydrogen production under natural solar light irradiation. Among the synthesized photocatalysts, the one calcined at 400 °C for 2 h was found to be the best catalyst, which exhibited 3.5 times higher hydrogen production rate than the pristine TiO2 while tested with water containing 5 vol.% glycerol. Importantly, the optimized nanocomposite was also tested for hydrogen production from simulated seawater under same conditions and it showed a hydrogen production rate of 20,383 μmol g−1 h−1, which is 2.4 times higher than the glycerol water solution. The enhanced hydrogen production rate is due to the reduced bandgap of AC-TiO2 nanocomposite which offered more light absorption in the visible region compared to the pristine TiO2. The XRD, Raman spectroscopy, TEM, and PL analysis were also examined to investigate the crystallinity, purity, morphology, and charge carrier recombination life time of the synthesized catalysts.

The Garcinia mangostana Linn, a medicinal plant commonly used in Southeast Asia. The crude extract and isolated metabolites were used to evaluate its potential anti-cancer activity which was compared to methotrexate (MTX) in cervical cancer cell line. The present study involved in using crude mangosteen (CM), γ-mangostin (γ-M), isopropyl mangostin (IPM) and Di-O-methyl mangostin (DMM) against the standard anti-neoplastic drug MTX. Cell viability and cytotoxicity by lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) were assessed. Analysis of DNA fragmentation and clonogenic assay further supports the anti-cancer activity of the drugs in HeLa cells. The IC50 value for CM, γ-M, DMM, IPM and MTX were 13.4µg, 34.84µM, 15.57µM 5.3µM and 16.05µM respectively observed in the present study. This study suggests that the G. mangostana and its derivatives have potential anti-cancer activity an in vitro study in cervical cancer.

Coronavirus (CoVs) is a large family of enveloped, single-stranded, positive-sense RNA viruses that infect a wide range of vertebrates. They are extensively found in bats and also in many other birds and mammals including humans. SARS-CoV-2 is a global pandemic and originated from Wuhan States of China. The SARS-CoV-2 is more genetically similar to zoonotic SARS-CoV and less similar to MERS-CoV. The viral surface spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 binds to the human angiotensin-converting enzyme-2 (ACE-2) receptor of Type II alveolar cells of the lungs and it appears to be the major portal of entry by this virus. The subsequent activation of the spike protein by transmembrane protease-2 and in addition to lung, ACE-2 is highly expressed in heart followed by kidney and intestinal epithelium. SARS-CoV-2 infects more men than women due to ACE-2 receptor on the cells increased with age and generally it was higher in men than in women. The incubation period for this virus varies from place to place and asystematic symptoms are also commonly seen in infected patients. There are a number of pharmaceuticals already being tried and are in different phase levels of testing, but a better understanding of the underlying pathobiology is required. In this circumstance, this article will briefly review the underlying principle for ACE-2 receptor as a specific target. Despite ACE-2 serving as the portal for infection, the role of ACE inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers requires further investigation.

The investigation standardized the protocol for Agrobacterium-mediated transformation system in Brinjal (Solanum melongena L), cultivar ‘Arka Neelkanth’ . Initially the regeneration system was standardized with regeneration medium (MS basal medium supplemented with 8.88 µM BAP + 1.14 µM IAA) by using 10-12 days old cotyledon explants. Transformation of the hevein, a gene responsible for fungal resistance. into cotyledon explants was carried out with Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain LBA4404 harbouring binary plasmid pGPTV/hevein (Plasmid Gus Plant Transformation Vector) with marker gene neomycin phosphotransferase (npt-II). Transformation efficiency showed a higher percentage in one day pre-cultured explants, infected with bacterial suspension of optical density 0.4 at OD600 nm with 1:1 dilution for 10min and 48hrs co-cultivation on regeneration medium in the dark. Transformed explants were cultured on selection medium. The PCR molecular confirmation of amplified npt-II gene from the genomic DNA of the transformed plant indicates the integration of the hevein gene in the brinjal plant.
