Relevance. Inflammatory periodontal diseases, with a 68-98% prevalence, are a risk factor for developing cardiovascular diseases (CVD). There is simultaneously a low awareness of dental diseases and their role in assessing general health. The patient's understanding of the need for prevention and treatment of dental diseases is essential in the successful treatment of cardiovascular diseases. In this regard, the study of dental treatment adherence in patients with cardiovascular diseases is particularly relevant. Purpose – to study the level of adherence to dental treatment in patients with cardiovascular diseases.Materials and methods. We conducted a dental examination and survey of 121 patients aged 18 to 89 years during treatment of coronary artery disease clinical manifestations, including 48 men and 73 women. The average age of the surveyed was 65.2 ± 0.44 years. Patients completed a modified Morisky-Green questionnaire, which included four questions. We used a written questionnaire, which included 21 closed questions of the original questionnaire, to study the factors affecting adherence to dental treatment.Results. The study found that 87.6% of cardiovascular patients poorly adhered to dental treatment, 9.1% of patients were at risk, and only 3.3% had strong adherence to treatment. Only half of the respondents (52%) believed that oral diseases could affect the underlying disease course. Adherence to dental treatment did not depend on the age of the examined patients. Adherence was higher among women and those with higher education.Conclusion. The study revealed that patients with cardiovascular diseases have a high prevalence and intensity of inflammatory periodontal diseases and low adherence to their treatment. Only half of the patients know the relationship between cardiovascular diseases and inflammatory periodontal dis eases.

The Ural mobile belt is an intracontinental epioceanic orogen that has already gone through all stages of the geodynamic development. Igneous rocks formed during each stage are important indicators for understanding the evolution of this belt and determining potential ore contents of its segments. We consolidated large datasets on petrogeochemistry and isotope geochronology of the Paleozoic (490–250 Ma) granitoids associated with the opening and evolution of the Ural paleoocean and the subsequent formation of the collisional orogen. Using these data, we have revised the ages of several tectono-magmatic events, clarified the paleogeodynamic settings for the generation of granitoids of different compositions, and described the roles of mantle-crust interactions and the plume factor in the formation of the mature continental crust in the study area. The results can be useful for geological mapping and improving the assessment of the potential ore contents in granitoid complexes that differ in origin and composition.

Transformation of the oceanic crust into the continental one in orogenic belts is an important problem in petrological studies. In the paleocontinental sector of the Urals, a key object for tracing the stages of metamorphism and investigating the origin of anatectic granites is the Murzinka-Adui metamorphic complex. We have analyzed trace elements in zircons and established their genesis, sources, crystallization conditions, and stages of metamorphic events and granite generation in this complex. Zircons compositions were determined by the LA-ICP-MS method. Temperatures were calculated from Ti contents in the zircons. We distinguish three geochemical types of zircons, which differ in the ratios of light and heavy REE, U, Th, Ti, Y and show different values of Ce- and Eu-anomalies and Zr/Hf ratios, which are indicative of different crystallization conditions, as follows. Type I: minimal total LREE content; clear negative Eu- and Ce- anomalies; features of magmatic genesis; crystallization temperatures from 629 to 782 °C. Type II: higher contents of Ti, La, and LREE; low Ce-anomaly; assumed crystallization from highly fluidized melts or solutions. Type III: low positive Eu-anomaly; high REE content; low Th/U-ratio; zircons are assumed to originate from a specific fluidized melt with a high Eu-concentration. Ancient relict zircons (2300–330 Ma) in gneisses and granites show features of magma genesis and belong to types I and II. Such grains were possibly inherited from granitoid sources with different SiO2 contents and different degrees of metamorphism. Based on the geological and petrogeochemical features and zircon geochemistry of the Murzinka-Adui complex, there are grounds to conclude that the material composing this complex was generated from the sialic crust. The main stages of metamorphism and/or granite generation, which are traceable from the changes in types and compositions of the zircons, are dated at 1639, 380–370, 330, and 276–246 Ma. Thus, transformation of the oceanic crust into the continental one was a long-term and complicated process, and, as a result, the thickness of the sialic crust is increased in the study area.

Murzinka massif constitutes an interformational sheet-like body reaching up 6 km in length steeply dipping to the east. Proterozoic metamorphic rocks of predominantly granulite facies (p = 5–6 kbar, T = 750–800℃) occur at the base of the massif, with Silurian-Devonian volcanic-sedimentary rocks metamorphosed in the epidote-amphibolite facies occurring in its roof. The petrogenic elements were determined at the Laboratory for Physicochemical Research Methods of the Zava ritsky Institute of Geology and Geochemistry, UB RAS. The content of trace elements was determined at the laboratories of the University of Granada in Spain and at the Institute of Geology and Geochemistry using the ICP-MS method. In the eastern direction, the rocks change their composition from predominantly basic to granitoid as they approach the massif. The gneisses of the granitoid composition experienced a high degree of melting; the anatectic melt formed the western part of the Murzinka massif. The granites form three complexes: 1) Yuzhakovo – veins of biotite orthoclase antiperthite gra nites varying in K2O content in the metamorphic rocks of the base of the massif; 2) Vatikha – biotite orthoclase antiperthite granites making up the western part of the murzinka massif; 3) Murzinka – two-mica predominantly microcline granites occurring in the eastern part of the massif. Vatikha and Murzinka granites have the same isotopic age (about 255 Ma). A clear geochemical zonation is revealed in the massif: from west to east (from the base to the roof), the contents of Rb, Li, Nb, Ta increase in the granites of the Vatikha and Murzinka complexes. In the same direction, the ratios K/Rb, Zr/Hf, Nb/Ta decrease, as well as the contents of Ba and Sr. Naturally, the compositions of such rock-forming minerals as plagioclase and biotite also change. The isotopic characteristics of the granites of the Vatikha (Sri = 0.70868–0.70923 and εNd255 from –8.9 to –11.9) and Murzinka (Sri = 0.70419–0.70549, εNd255 from –2.6 to +2.3) complexes suggest that the substratum of the former was represented by Proterozoic granite-gneisses, whereas the rocks of the newly formed crust, possibly similar to the Silurian-Devonian volcanogenic-sedimentary rocks, which are at contact with the Murzinka granites, served as the substrate for the latter.

The distribution of heavy metals (HM) was analyzed in soils of Blagoveshchensk. The main physicochemical features (pH, the content of organic substance, mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium, the exchangeable cations of calcium and magnesium, as well as the total content of Cu, Cr, Ni, Co, Pb, Mn, Cd, Zn) were studied in soil samples. The anthropogenic influence on the urban environment transforms the physicochemical properties of soils: alkalizes the soil cover, increases the organic matter content, exchangeable bases, and mobile forms of biogenic elements. The total content of studied HM in the soils of Blagoveshchensk exceeds their concentrations in soils of the Mukhinka background territory and shows the spatial heterogeneity of pollutants distribution in the upper soil layer. As proceeds from the comparison of the studied elements concentrations with their MPC/APC, the most polluted territories are confined to industrial zones. Four elements, i.e., Mn, Pb, Cd and Zn, are accumulated in urban soils. However, Cu, Ni, Co, Cr accumulation is not so important. The calculation results of total contamination index in the upper soil cover layer in Blagoveshchensk taking into account the HM toxicity coefficient prove that Blagoveshchensk soils are mainly classified as moderately hazardous and nonhazardous. The evidence on the total content of HM do not allow making conclusion about their geochemical behavior in soils and about possible transition to neighbor environment. That is why the most mobile and easily mobilized forms of heavy metals, i.e., water-soluble and specifically adsorbed forms, were extracted using the method of successive extractions. The mobility of metals was established to be higher in the urban soils as compared to the background soils. Among the studied elements, Cd, Pb and Zn proved to be the most hazardous, with their mobility being close to the average risk of being included in the nutrition chains. This may lead to the contamination of Amur cross-boundary river ecosystems with heavy metals in case the groundwater level rises in the Blagoveshchensk territory due to its waterlogging by the Zeya River water.

Representatives of the Salicaceae family are valuable sources of medicinal plant material that has been used in traditional medicine in many countries around the world.. In European countries, some willow species are official plants. It is the bark of willow in many countries called natural aspirin. The decoction of the willow bark is used as an antimalarial, antipyretic, wound healing, antiseptic, hemostatic, astringent and anti-inflammatory agent. Plants of the genus Salix L . have a variety of component composition and contain a complex of biologically active compounds: primarily polyphenolic compounds, phenol glycosides, salicylates, flavonoids, hydroxycoric acids, essential oils, vitamins, carotenoids, polysaccharides. The bark of young branches of different willow species, including Salix purpurea L ., Salix fragilis L ., Salix daphnoides Vill ., have been included in the edition of the European Pharmacopoeia and since 2014 to the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine. Expanding the raw material base of medicinal plant raw materials is an urgent problem that can be solved through the introduction into the pharmaceutical practice of systematically close autochthonous and introduced willow species widespread inUkraine. The purpose of this work is the determination of microscopic diagnostic features of the willow goat ( Salix cinerea L .) shoots of Ukrainian flora for the plant material identification. Materials and methods. The object of the study was dry shoots of Salix cinerea L . Vegetable raw materials were collected in May–August 2016–2018 in Kharkiv, Zakarpattia and Kyiv region of Ukraine. The study of the anatomical structure of goat willow shoots was performed using the methods of light and electron microscopy. The ultrastructure of the epidermal leaf tissue surface was further studied using scanning microscopy techniques. Results. An in-depth study of the anatomical structure of the shoots of Salix cinerea L . has been carried out and the main diagnostic macro- and microscopic features of perspective medicinal raw materials have been established. Conclusions. The obtained results significantly expand information on the anatomical structure of shoots of Salix cinerea L . flora of Ukraine and could be used in the standardization of raw materials of species of the family Willow.

Relevance of the problem. In the Urals, in connection with the solution of the problem of supplying the operating non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises with local raw materials, a number of copper-porphyry ore-bearing deposits have been involved in the industrial development in the last decade; low-sulfidation mineralization is localized mainly in dioritic intrusive massifs. The presence of large-scale mineralization of native copper in the diorites of the Vostochno-Verkhotursky massif testifies to the need for its comprehensive study and determination of ore-forming appurtenances. Purpose of the paper is to determine the formation and age appurtenances, as well as the metallogenic specialization of the eastern part of Verkhotursko-Isetskaya zone (Middle Urals) of the Vostochno-Verkhotursky massif within which mineralization of native copper was previously identified. Results. Petrographic, geochemical, and isotope-geochronological studies of the gabbro, diorite and granodiorite massifs were carried out (SiO2–53.97–67.32%, K2O – 1.04–2.65%) and gabbro-diorite dikes occurring among them SiO2 – 54.50-56.50%, K2O – 0.96–1.50%). The predominantly corniferous rocks of the massif belong to a single homodromous calci-alkalic normal-alkalic series of a moderately potassic type. Dyorites of dikes are comagmatic to enclosing rocks. The massif is formed in the abyssal-mesoabyssal conditions of the supra-subduction situation at the continental margin of the zone development. The U-Pb age of the investigated rocks of the massif is determined by zircon (the method of laser ablation) in 339.2 2.8 million years (Carbonic period). The formation of the massif occurred within the tectonic block with the basement of the Proterozoic age of the sialic composition. The presence of high concentrations of F in accessory apatites (up to 3.5–4.2%) at relatively low Cl (up to 0.5%) and SO3 (up to 0.4-0.9%) indicates a possible gold-rare metal specialization of formations. Conclusion. To determine conditions for the formation of the mineralization of native copper among the supra-subduction dioritoids of the Middle Carbonic period, its age, ore-bearing belonging, and scale, it is necessary to further study both the formations of the Vostochno-Verkhotursky massif (including those that underwent secondary alterations) and other dioritoid massifs in the eastern part of the Verkhoturskaya-Isetskaya zone

Based on the experimental research on determining the role of functional groups of the cell wall in the microfungus Penicillium canescens in the process of Pd(II) biogenic precipitation, it is revealed that hydroxyl and, to a lesser degree, amine groups participate in the sorption process in a weakly acidic medium (рН ~ 6), which is the most typical for natural conditions. The role of carboxyl groups under these conditions is not clear. The results obtained are of certain interest for understanding the mechanisms of platinoid mineral formation in organogenic sequences.

Efficiency of innovations in any economy branch, transportation included, may be assessed on the basis of qualitative and quantitative indices. Innovation efficiency assessment methods and systems valid for the transportation branch are discussed. Indices used in these methods are defined, efficiency calculation examples are brought about. Results arrived at in the course of the research demonstrate that estimated efficiency grades depend on correctness of criteria combinations chosen.

732 A band of layered gabbro intrusions belonging to the Kusa–Kopan Complex is confined to the zone of the Zyuratkul riftogenic fault in the eastern part of the Bashkir Meganticlinorium, where it consists of several massifs (Matkal, Kopan, Medvedevo, Kusa) with the Ryabinovka and Gubenskii granitoid massifs located in the hanging wall (Fig. 1). The gabbro massifs enclose synonymous ilmenite–titanomagnetite deposits of the Urals in the form of stratified series, vein, and lenticu� lar lodes of continuous and disseminated ores, which alternate with gabbroids. These deposits were discov� ered in the 1930s, and since that time their geological structure and composition of ores and host rocks have been studied by many researchers. The primary atten� tion was paid to the most debatable factors responsible for strong lateral variations in the composition of rocks and ores within the complex, represented by horn� blende gabbro and gneiss–granites in the Kusa and Gubenskii massifs and ilmenite–magnetite ores in the Kusa and Medvedevo deposits in the north and by gab� bronorites (Matkal and Kopan massifs), porphyroid granophyric granites (Ryabinovka Massif), and titano� magnetite ores in the south. Some researchers explain such differences in the mineral composition by the influence of superposed metamorphic processes on rocks and ores of the Kusa Massif [1, 2], which occurred substantially after the formation of intru� sions. Our petrological studies performed in recent years revealed that the formation depth of granitoids, gab� broids, and enclosed ores increases along this band in the northerly direction from 3–4 km in the south to 20–30 km in the north. Accordingly, the P–T param� eters of rock and ore formation vary in the same direc� tion: = 0.5–3.0 kbar and T = 900–1100°C in the south (Kopan and Matkal gabbro massifs and associ� ated deposits, Ryabinovka granite massif) and P = 6– 9 kbar and T = 600–900°C in the north (Kusa and Medvedevo gabbro and Gubenskii granite massifs

The influence of microorganisms on the course of tumor processes in laboratory animals was studied. The study revealed that the inoculation of Bordetella pertussis decreased survival time both in mice with implanted mastocytoma cells P-815 and in Syrian golden hamsters with implanted transformed hamster fibroblastomas. The smallpox vaccine virus was found to stimulate the development of virus-induced Rauscher leukosis in mice. The mechanisms of the co-carcinogenic action of microorganisms is discussed.

Twenty patients were examined before and after orthotopic transplantation of the heart. The significance of x-ray examination of donors to ascertain brain death was demonstrated. The possibility of x-ray examination of recipients is analyzed. X-Ray criteria of prognostically unfavorable signs for cardiologis patients are defined. The x-ray picture before and after transplantation of the heart was studied. Possible complications in the immediate posttransplantation period are analyzed, as are the potentialities of x-ray detection of chronic crisis of transplanted heart rejection.

A multistage treadmill test was conducted by the authors' program in 75 patients with mitral and aortic valvular disease and in 25 healthy individuals with noninvasive evaluation of the anaerobic threshold (AT) and the pumping function of the heart according to the dynamics of the oxygen debt. During the treadmill test in patients with pulmonary hypertension and arterio-capillary type of stasis in pulmonary circulation the AT occurred before the pumping function of the heart became decompensated. The diagnostic sensitivity of the AT outstripping appearance to marked types of pulmonary circulation stasis was 48% and to pulmonary hypertension - 80%. It was found that the AT occurring in the treadmill test before disorders of heart pumping function is an unfavourable prognostic criterion for late-term (8-12 months) results of isolated mitral valve prosthetics.

A mathematical model of radiative heat exchange in the throats of wide-necked helium cryostats is analyzed. A comparison of the numerical results with known calculated and experimental data shows their good agreement.

On the basis of clinico-biochemical and cytological examinations of 90 children with clear, purulent and burn wounds the activation of A and C phospholipases was found in the blood and wound discharge which was proportional to the activity of inflammatory, destructive changes in the wound at the stage of their healing. It determined their pathogenetic, diagnostic value for control of the depth of skin damage, development of postoperative complications, preparedness of the granulating wound for plasty, efficiency of the treatment.
