У статті вперше розглянуто історію взаємин між видатною українською оперною співачкою Соломією Крушельницькою та тоталітарною системою радянської держави. В дослідженні автор акцентує увагу на тому, що радянська тоталітарна система всі- ляко намагалася морально знищити всесвітньо відомому оперну співачку. Однак, вона не лише розпочала нове життя при ворожому для неї режимі, а й сама не змінилася, зберегла притаманну їй гідність та простоту в поведінці. The article considers for the fi rst time the history of relations between the outstanding Ukrainian opera singer Solomiya Krushelnytska and the totalitarian system of the Soviet state. In the study, the author emphasizes that the Soviet totalitarian system tried in every way to morally destroy the world-famous opera singer. However, not only did she start a new life under a regime hostile to her, but she herself did not change, retaining her inherent dignity and simplicity of behavior.

本論は、18世紀後半、ナポリを中心とするナポリ王国下でのオペラ巡業とそれらを担った人々の実態について、特にカラーブリア州コゼンツァでの1777～78年のオペラ興行の契約文書（公証人史料）、プーリア州への巡業記録を基に解き明かすものである。またイタリア現地の最新研究動向を紹介しながら、17世紀から1799年までの期間についてのナポリ王国領域内（アブルッツォ州を除くモリーゼ、カンパニア、プーリア、バジリカータ、シチリア各州）各中小都市の音楽劇上演一覧を作成、分析を行うことで、南イタリアでは聖史オペラdramma sacroという世俗的宗教音楽劇の役割が大きかったことを示し、「オペラ巡業」を広い同時代文脈の中で改めて提示する。, 本論文は「九州地区国立大学教育系・文系研究論文集」Vol.8, No.2(2022/3）に査読を経て受理された。

The superior laryngeal nerve (SLN) has been attributed much less clinical significance than the recurrent laryngeal nerve. It has sometimes been described as the 'neglected' nerve in thyroid surgery, although injury to this nerve can cause significant disability. The external branch of the SLN is the only motor supply to the cricothyroid muscle, which increases the tension of the ipsilateral vocal fold during highfrequency phonation, particularly in women and voice professionals. Damage to this nerve can manifest as ipsilateral cricothyroid muscle paralysis, and clinical symptoms may include a hoarse, breathy voice, frequent throat clearing, vocal fatigue or diminished vocal frequency range, especially when rising pitch. SLN paralysis can be a significant issue for those whose careers depend largely on a full range of voice. The famous opera soprano, Amelita Galli-Curci, suffered SLN injury during thyroid surgery with distressing consequences.Il nervo laringeo superiore (SLN) riceve generalmente un minor interesse clinico rispetto al nervo laringeo ricorrente, e qualcuno lo descrive come il nervo 'trascurato' nella chirurgia della tiroide, pur tuttavia una sua lesione può causare disabilità anche significative. Il ramo esterno del SLN è l'unico ramo motore del muscolo cricotiroideo, che aumenta la tensione della corda vocale omolaterale durante la fonazione ad alta frequenza, soprattutto nelle donne e nei professionisti della voce. Danni a questo nervo possono manifestarsi con la paralisi del muscolo cricotiroideo. I sintomi clinici di una lesione del SLN comprendono la raucedine e una voce soffiata, la necessità di schiarirsi frequentemente la gola, la fatica vocale o il diminuito range di frequenza vocale, soprattutto quando si innalza la frequenza della voce. La paralisi del SLN può essere un problema significativo per quei professionisti le cui carriere dipendono, in larga misura, da una completa estensione vocale. La famosa cantante d'opera, Amelita Galli-Curci, subì una lesione al SLN durante una tiroidectomia, con conseguenze drammatiche.

Bu çalışmanın amacı müzik çalışma odalarındaki çınlama süresi değişikliklerininklasik şancıların tercihlerine etkisini incelemektir. Uygulanan yöntem, nesnelölçümleri ve katılımcıların algısal cevaplarını bir araya getirmiştir. Katılımcı grubu[N=30], ses çalışmalarında beş farklı özgeçmişe sahip kişilerden; erken müzik eğitimiöğrencileri (N=6), yetenekli amatörler (N=5), üniversite öğrencileri (N=6), yükseklisans öğrencileri (N=5) ve profesyonel opera sanatçılarından (N=8) oluşturulmuştur.Klasik şancılardan, çınlama süresi 0.6 s, 0.8 s ve 1.0 s dolaylarında olan odaortamlarında tekli heceler halinde opera tekniğiyle çıkarabildikleri en bas ve tizsesleri içerecek şekilde ses alıştırması yapmaları istenmiştir. Söz konusu çınlamasüreleri ise müzik okulları için standartların önerdiği değerlerden oluşmaktadır.Katılımcılardan aynı zamanda bu alıştırmayı üç farklı şarkı söyleme şiddetindetekrarlamaları istenmiştir. İstatistiksel veriler analiz edilmiştir. Buna göre, klasikşancılar, söz konusu üç farklı oda ortamındaki genel performanslarınıdeğerlendirerek, çalışmak istedikleri oda ortamını çınlama süresini 0.8 sdolaylarında tercih etmiştir. Klasik şancıların algılanan ses eforları ve tercih ettiklerioda ortamı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Buna ekolarak, saptanmıştır ki oda ortamı tercihi ile ses çalışmalarındaki özgeçmiş arasındada ilişki vardır. Buna göre, tecrübeli klasik şancılar cansız koşulları canlı koşullara;tecrübesiz klasik şancılar ise canlı koşulları cansız koşullara tercih etmiştir. Ayrıca,bulunmuştur ki, algısal cevaplara göre tecrübeli klasik şancılar, aynı oda koşullarındatecrübesiz klasik şancılara göre daha az efor sarf etmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Çınlama Süresi, Müzik Çalışma Odaları, Algılanan Şarkı SöylemeEeforu, Klasik Şancılar. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of reverberation time varianceson classical singers' [N=30] preferences in individual music practice rooms. Themethod has combined objective measurements (RT) and perceptual responses ofparticipants. The participant group [N=30] has consisted of five differentbackgrounds in vocal studies ; EME (early music education) students (N=6), skilledamateurs (N=5), undergraduate singing students (N=6), graduate singing students(N=5), and professionals (N=8). Classical singers has been asked to sing with as highand as low as they could with melisma singing style (in opera singing technique) inthree different room settings which had following reverberation times; around 0.6s, 0.8 s, and 1.0 s. These were the values, which acoustical standards for musicschools recommended. The participants have also been asked to sing with threedifferent singing volumes in each room setting. The findings have been analyzedstatistically. According to the results, classical singers have preferred the roomsetting with 0.8 s reverberation time considering their overall experience in threedifferent room settings. Classical singers' perceived singing effort has had astatistically significant relationship with preferred room setting. In addition, it hasbeen found that there is a relationship between preference and background invocal studies, which means that while experienced classical singers prefer deadconditions to live conditions, unexperienced classical singers prefer live conditionsto dead conditions. It has also been found that, according to perceptual responses,experienced classical singers exert less singing effort while less experienced classicalsingers exert more singing effort in same room conditions.Keywords: Reverberation Time, Music Practice Rooms, Perceived Singing Effort,Classical Singers. 108

Profesyonel ses eğitimi (şan) alan bireylerin ses özelliklerinin araştırılması amacıyla yapılan bu çalışma, durum tespitine yönelik tarama modelinde hazırlanmış olup Selçuk Üniversitesi Dilek Sabancı Devlet Konservatuarı Şan Sanat Dalında profesyonel ses eğitimi (şan) alan 12 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin seçiminde en az bir yıl ses eğitim almaları dikkate alınmıştır. Nitel veriler, kişi bilgi formu ve öğrencilerin ses özelliklerine ait düşüncelerini yansıtan görüşme formlarından; nicel veriler ise ses bozukluğu skoru anket formu, konuşkanlık indeksi, görsel, akustik ve aerodinamik değerlendirmelerden elde edilmiştir.Sesin, görsel özellikleri VLS (Videolarengostroboskopi), akustik özellikleri CSL (Computerized Speech Laboratory) 4500 bilgisayar ortamında Kay Elemetrics MDVP (Multi Dimensional Voice Program), Main Program ve Shure Sm 48 model mikrofon, aerodinamik özellikleri kronometre ile yapılmış olup, verilerin analizinde istatistikî yöntemlerden Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis ve Pearson Correlation Testleri kullanılmıştır.Ses özelliklerinden elde edilen veriler ses türü, sınıf seviyesi, cinsiyet, yaş, boy, kilo özelliklerine göre değerlendirilmiş; sınıf seviyesi, yaş ve kiloya göre anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmemiştir. Ses türüne göre F0, F3, F4 formant frekansları, jitter, shimmer, cinsiyete göre F0, F3, F4, F5 formant frekansları, boya göre F0 ve jitter açılarından anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmüştür. Ses türü açısından bariton öğrencilerin soprano öğrencilere göre F0, F3, F4 formant frekansları, jitter, shimmer, boy açısından ise boy uzadıkça jitter ve F0 değerlerinin düştüğü sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bütün öğrencilerin şarkıcı formantını (F3) oluşturabildiği görülmüştür. Ses türünün belirlenmesinde oturmuş bir larenks yapısının önemli olduğu, alt ses grupları için acele karar verilmemesi gerektiği görüşü ağırlık kazanmıştır. This study is conducted to research the vocal features of the individuals who receive vocal training and it was designed as a survey model study with 12 professional vocal training students of Selçuk University Dilek Sabancı Conservatory Vocal Training Branch of Art. The participants were selected among the students who had at least one year vocal training. Qualitative data were obtained from the personal information forms and the interview forms that reflect the students? views on voice features while the vocal defects score questionnaire forms, the quantitative data were obtained through loquacity index, visual, acoustic and aerodynamic evaluations.The visual features of voice were measured with VLS (Videolarengostroboskopi), acoustic features were analyzed on CSL (Computerized Speech Laboratory) 4500 computer Kay Elemetrics MDVP (Multi Dimensional Voice Program), Main Program and Shure Sm 48 model microphone, and the aerodynamic features were measured with a chronometer. Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and Pearson Correlation Tests were used fort he statistical analysis of the data.Data obtained from the voice features were evaluated according to the voice type, class level, gender, age, height and weight; a significant difference could not be identified according to the class level, age and weight. Significant differences could be identified in F0, F3, F4 formant frequencies, jitter and shimmer according to voice type, in F0, F3, F4 and F5 formant frequencies according to gender, in F0 and jitter according to height. In terms of voice type, baritone students were found with lower F0, F3, F4 formant frequencies, jitter, shimmer levels than the sopranos whereas the taller students were found with lower jitter and F0 levels. All of the students were observed to form the singer formant (F3). The view that a steady larynx structure is important in identifying vocal subtypes and that hurried decisions should be avoided have become prominent. 79

Çağdaş düşünmenin ve çağdaş yaşamanın ayrılmaz bir parçası olan Güzel Sanatlar Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün şu özdeyişinde anlamını bulmuştur.?Sanatsız kalan bir ulusun hayat damarlarından biri kopmuş demektir?Bu çalışmamda opera sanatının İtalya'da Rönesans'la (yeniden doğuş) birlikte doğuşuna Avrupa'da, Türkiye'de (Cumhuriyet öncesi ve Cumhuriyet sonrası) opera sanatının yayılışına ve gelişmesine değinilmiştir.Opera sanatının başlamasıyla şan tekniğine ihtiyaç görülmüş, opera sanatının gelişmesi ve yayılması ile orantılı olarak, şan tekniği de bilimsel araştırmalarla gelişmeler göstermiştir.Sesin oluşumundan ve sesi zenginleştiren organlardan bahsedilerek şan tekniği ve ses grupları anlatılmış, bu konuda yazılmış olan kitaplara yer verilmiştir.Son olarak Türkçe'nin şan tekniğine uygunluğu anlatılmış, verilen örneklerde bestelenmiş Türk Operalarıyla, özgün dilinden Türkçe'ye çevrilmiş eserlerde Türkçe'nin şan tekniğine uygunluğu anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu araştırmada faydalanılan kitaplar kaynakçada belirtilmiştir. Republic?s establishment) have addressed.When Opera arts started, The Technical of Illustriousness (The Singing Technics) were needed, with improving opera arts and wide spraining as a proportional, it also improved with scientific researches.By mentioning the organs which makes the sound rich and enables us to sing and talk the technic of ?The Singing Technic? and sound groups has explained and some place has given to the books about this matter.Lastly Turkish language's suitability for the (Singing Technic) has explained, by giving examples about the Turkish operas and the works that had been traslated to Turkish from their original language it's been tried to explain the Turkish language's suitability for The Technical of Illustriousness (The Singing Technic).It is defined that books are used in this study in the reference. 144

ÖZET Bu çalışma Hacettepe Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı, Sahne Sanatları Bölümü Şan - Opera Anasanat Dalı Yüksek Lisans Sanat Eseri Raporu olarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada `Bir şancıda bir role hazırlarken` olması gereken en önemli unsurlar ve bunların geliştirilmesi, Giacomo Puccini'nin La Boheme operası ve Mimi karakteri esas alınarak, belgelere dayalı olarak incelenmiştir. Bir opera sanatçısının bir role hazırlanırken çalıştığı eserin bestecisinin hayatı, çalıştığı eseri bestelerken ki anıları ve hissettikleri eserin orjinal romanı ve yazarı, eserin bestelendiği çağ, etkilendiği akım hakkında bilgi. Bir şancıda bir role hazırlanırken olması gereken en önemli unsurlar ve bunların geliştirilmesi, eserin dört perdesinin konusu, hazırlanılan Mimi karakterinin diğer karakterlerle ilişkisi, Mimi karakterinin ortaya çıkması, Mimi karakterinin yorumlanması, Giacomo Puccini'nin eserinin orkestra ve müzikalite açısından işlenişi özen gösterilerek ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Konu ile ilgili doküman bulmakta bir takım güçlüklerle karşılaşılmışsa da bu konuda daha çok öğretmenlerin bilgilerine ansiklopedilere, Devlet Opera ve Balesi ile Devlet Konservatuarı kütüphanelerine başvurulmuştur. Ill ABSTRACT The research has been prepared for opera Department Masters Degree at H.Ü. social sciences of Ankara state conservatory. The main elements of an opera singer, how these elements can be improved, La Boheme opera of Glacomo Puccini, and the Mimi character has been examined by written documents. How the operas singer feels when preparing himself for a part, the life of the composer and his memories, the original story of the opera and its writer, the period in which the place has been composed and the trends it was influenced by is studied. Although there has been problems to find documents for the study but the knowledge has mainly been gathered from the instructors and from the library of Ankara state conservatory and also from encyclopedias. In the first part of the research, the composer of e opera, libretist, the original story and the writer, the period in which the piece wan composed and the trends it was influenced from are carefully examined. In the second part, the stories of four scenes of e opera, the main elements of an opera singer, how to prepare for a part, how to improves one self, the relations of Mimi character with the other characters in the play, the revealing of Mimi character, the musical quality and the music of the orchestra of La Boheme opera are carefully studied and examined. 50
