Brazilian female farmers have long faced and still face devaluation, oppression and violence. But after decades of struggle for professional recognition, rights and multidimensional public policies, it is possible to observe changes. This article aims to present the process of female empowerment through the United Women's Organization(UMOS) of the Gleba XV de Novembro Settlement in Rosana, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, showing how these women have achieved success not only in obtaining income, but also in contributing to the permanence of their families on the land, and providing better living and working conditions for the entire settlement. The methodological procedures adopted consisted mainly of conducting interviews and drawing up alternative cartographies. Despite the difficulties related to the geographical situation and male chauvinism, with socio-spatial strategies such as associativism, baking, handicrafts, professional training, participation in the Food Acquisition Programme, the National School Feeding Programme, the National Rural Housing Programme -- and Bolsa Família, these women have affirmed the importance of their work, establishing less unequal gender relations in rural spaces and building inclusive and resistant spaces. This article seeks to understand the positions of three Rio de Janeiro journals, Careta, Fon-Fon and O Malho, in terms of a woman’s role in the concept of the “modern family” during the first half of the twentieth century, whether as a daughter, wife, or mother. Based on the concept of modern patriarchy, we seek to understand the new forms of patriarchy in republican Brazil and how these affected women’s behavior, their everyday lives in the family sphere and in social and power dynamics in private and public spaces, during this period of accelerated change. Based on this analysis, we consider how the press reported to its readers on marriages and separations and how it presented female desire through divorce. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

12. Inequidades de género en STEM: El caso de académicas universitarias en Chile

Through a conceptual framework we aim to understand the specific inequalities of female academics in the STEM field, considering the different mechanisms of women’s subalternity. We use a gender perspective to investigate the structural and power configurations affecting women, as well as an intersectional perspective given the complex and dynamic configuration of the main axes of inequality that impact the experiences of female academics. Technically, we reviewed secondary sources, especially indexed journals. Substantively, we highlighted the articulation of gender and academic regimes as a mechanism of subjection, turning universities into spaces that produce and reproduce gender inequalities., À travers un cadre conceptuel, nous avons cherché à comprendre les inégalités dont les femmes universitaires font l’objet dans le domaine des STEM, en prenant en compte les différents mécanismes de subalternité à l’oeuvre concernant ces dernières. Nous avons adopté une perspective de genre afin de mieux saisir les configurations structurelles et de pouvoir affectant les femmes, ainsi qu’une perspective intersectionnelle pour rendre compte de la configuration complexe et dynamique des axes d’inégalité ayant un impact sur les expériences des femmes universitaires. D’un point de vue technique, nous avons entrepris une révision des sources secondaires, surtout celle des revues indexées. Sur le fond, nous avons mis en évidence l’articulation entre régimes de genre et régimes académiques, en tant que mécanisme d’assujettissement transformant les universités en espaces de production et de reproduction des inégalités de genre., A partir de um quadro conceitual, procuramos compreender as desigualdades que as mulheres acadêmicas vivenciam na área STEM, considerando os diferentes mecanismos de subalternidade das mulheres. Adotamos uma perspectiva de gênero para compreender as configurações estruturais e de poder que afetam as mulheres, bem como uma perspectiva interseccional dada a configuração complexa e dinâmica de uma série de eixos de desigualdade que impactam as experiências das acadêmicas. Do ponto de vista técnico, revisamos fontes secundárias, especialmente periódicos indexados. Basicamente, destacamos a articulação entre regime de gênero e regime acadêmico como mecanismo de sujeição que transforma as universidades em espaços de produção e reprodução das desigualdades de gênero., Ensayamos un entramado conceptual en virtud de comprender las inequidades específicas de las académicas superiores del área STEM, atendiendo a los distintos mecanismos de subalternidad de las mujeres. Tributamos una perspectiva de género, en tanto dispositivo de comprensión de las configuraciones estructurales y de poder que afectan a las mujeres; también una perspectiva interseccional dada la configuración compleja y dinámica de una serie de ejes de desigualdad, que impactan las experiencias de las académicas. Técnicamente acudimos a la revisión de fuentes secundarias, en especial revistas indexadas. En lo sustantivo destacamos la articulación de los regímenes de género y académico, como mecanismo de sujeción, tornando a las universidades en espacios de producción y reproducción de desigualdades de género.

13. Intersetorialidade e transversalidade: Análise do Brasil Carinhoso (2012-2015)

Our purpose in this article is to analyze Brasil Carinhoso from 2012 to 2015 through the theoretical lenses of mainstreaming and intersectorality, and highlight those dimensions of care it covers. Brasil Carinhoso was a federal child development initiative, which linked aspects of children’s education, health, social assistance and nutrition. Based on a qualitative analysis of official documents and interviews, we provide evidence of an intersectoral concept of the program, which included innovations in funding and management, even though its implementation was largely sectoral. We were unable to identify evidence of gender mainstreaming, not even in the conception of the initiative we analyzed, especially because the approaches to care adopted in Brasil Carinhoso fail to take into consideration those who provide the care, and focus only on those who are cared for., Notre objectif est d’analyser le programme national nommé Brasil Carinhoso, de 2012 à 2015, à partir des cadres théoriques de la transversalité et de l’intersectorialité, mettant l’accent sur les dimensions du soin. Le programme fédéral Brasil Carinhoso, centré sur le développement de l’enfant, s’articulait autour des questions de l’éducation, de la santé, de l’assistance sociale et de la nutrition. Appuyés sur une analyse qualitative de documents officiels et d’entretiens, nous avons constaté que le programme avait une conception intersectorielle, comprenant des innovations en matière de financement et de gestion, même si sa mise en oeuvre était principalement sectorielle. Aucune transversalité de genre n’a pas été identifiée quand l’analyse s’est penchée sur la conception du programme. En effet, les approches du soin n’ont pas pris en considération le genre de la personne qui donne les soins et se concentrant uniquement sur celle qui les reçoit., Nosso propósito é analisar o Brasil Carinhoso, de 2012 a 2015, a partir das lentes teóricas da transversalidade e da intersetorialidade, destacando, ainda, as dimensões do cuidado. O Brasil Carinhoso foi uma iniciativa federal voltada ao desenvolvimento infantil, articulando educação, saúde, assistência social e nutrição. Com base em uma análise qualitativa de documentos oficiais e de entrevistas, evidenciamos uma concepção intersetorial do programa, abrangendo inovações no financiamento e na gestão, ainda que sua implementação tenha sido, em grande medida, setorial. A transversalidade de gênero não foi identificada, nem mesmo na concepção da iniciativa analisada, especialmente porque as abordagens de cuidado do Brasil Carinhoso deixam de considerar quem cuida, enfocando apenas quem é cuidado., Nuestro propósito es analizar el Brasil Carinhoso, de 2012 a 2015, desde los lentes teóricos de la transversalidad y la intersectorialidad, destacando también las dimensiones del cuidado. El Brasil Carinhoso fue una iniciativa federal centrada en el desarrollo infantil, articulando educación, salud, asistencia social y nutrición. A partir de un análisis cualitativo de documentos oficiales y entrevistas, evidenciamos una concepción intersectorial del programa, abarcando innovaciones en el financiamiento y en la gestión, aunque su implementación haya sido, en gran medida, sectorial. La transversalidad de género no fue identificada, ni siquiera en la concepción de la iniciativa analizada, especialmente porque los enfoques de cuidado del Brasil Carinhoso dejan de considerar quién cuida, centrándose sólo en quién es cuidado.

The present article seeks to analyze empirically how the educational effect of women in higher education Law courses affects their insertion into the formal labor market. To achieve this goal, we used data from the Relação Anual de Informações Sociais [Annual Social Information Report] (RAIS) to analyze all occupational fields that require legal training. The data show that women were already the majority as court clerks and the like, and became the majority in private law from 2010 onwards. As for the income received, controlled by other variables, women tend to earn less than men in the same occupations, with higher incomes only among public prosecutors and lawyers., Cet article cherche à analyser empiriquement comment l’effet de l’éducation des femmes étudiant le droit à l’université affecte leur insertion dans le marché du travail formel. A ce fin, nous avons utilisé des données provenant du Relação Anual de Informações Sociais [Rapport Annuel d’Informations Sociales] (Rais) afin d’analyser les groupes professionnels pour lesquels une formation juridique est requise. Les données montrent que les femmes représentaient déjà la majorité au ministère public de justice et autres postes de même niveau et qu’elles sont aussi devenues majoritaires dans les cabinets privés depuis 2010. En ce qui concerne les revenus, contrôlés par d’autres variables, les résultats montrent que les femmes ont tendance à recevoir moins que les hommes occupant les mêmes postes. Des revenus plus élevés chez les femmes ne concernent que les procureures et les défenseures publiques., Este artigo busca analisar empiricamente como o efeito educacional de mulheres nos cursos superiores de Direito afeta sua inserção no mercado de trabalho formal. Para dar conta desse objetivo, utilizamos dados da Relação Anual de Informações Sociais (Rais) para analisar todas as famílias ocupacionais que exigem formação jurídica. Os dados demonstram que mulheres já eram maioria como serventuárias de justiça e afins e tornaram-se maioria na advocacia privada a partir de 2010. Quanto à renda recebida, controlada por outras variáveis, mulheres tendem a receber menos do que homens nas mesmas ocupações, tendo rendimentos maiores apenas entre procuradoras e advogadas públicas., Este artículo busca analizar empíricamente cómo el efecto educativo de las mujeres en los cursos superiores de Derecho afecta su inserción en el mercado de trabajo formal. Para lograr este objetivo, utilizamos datos de la Relação Anual de Informações Sociais [Relación Anual de Informaciones Sociales] (Rais) para analizar todas las familias ocupacionales que exigen formación jurídica. Los datos muestran que las mujeres ya eran mayoría como secretarias judiciales y afines, y pasaron a ser mayoría en el derecho privado a partir de 2010. En cuanto a los ingresos recibidos, controlados por otras variables, las mujeres tienden a recibir menos que los hombres en las mismas ocupaciones, teniendo mayores ingresos sólo entre fiscales y abogadas públicas.

34. La educación afectivo-sexual como encrucijada en la relación familias y escuela

With the aim of understanding the existing relationship between families and schools in relation to affective-sexual education (ASE), and using a mixed methodology, we conducted in a first phase a survey with 55 parents and 43 teachers in training of the Master’s program in Secondary Education and the Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. Subsequently, we developed two discussion groups with 10 family members and 12 teachers. The results show what we have identified as points of convergence and agreement regarding the need for students, family members and teacher trainees to receive training in ASE, as well as divergences on how and by whom this training should be carried out. In conclusion, we proposed several final dimensions that we believe should be taken into account, and we encourage further research on this topic that is still relatively under-studied., Afin de mieux connaître la relation entre les familles et l’école concernant l’éducation sexuelle affective (ESA), nous avons, à partir d’une méthodologie mixte, réalisé dans une première phase une enquête auprès de 55 parents et de 43 professeur.es de Master en Formation des Enseignants du Secondaire et de l’Éducation Infantile. Puis, deux groupes de discussion avec 10 parents et 12 professeur.e.s ont été mis en place. Les résultats mettent en évidence les points de rencontre et de convergence sur le besoin non seulement des élèves des centres éducatifs, mais aussi des membres de la famille et des enseignants en formation de se former à l’ESA. Ils indiquent aussi les points de divergence sur la manière de le faire, ainsi que sur les personnes devant s’en charger. La conclusion propose des considérations qui mériteraient d’être prises en compte et encourager la poursuite de la recherche sur ce sujet encore peu étudié., Com o objetivo de conhecer a relação entre as famílias e a escola no que diz respeito à educação afetivo-sexual (EAS) e a partir de uma metodologia mista, desenvolvemos em uma primeira fase um inquérito a 55 pais e 43 professores do Mestrado em Formação de Professores em Ensino Médio e Infantil e posteriormente desenvolvemos dois grupos de discussão com 10 familiares e 12 professores. Os resultados mostram o que temos chamado de pontos de encontro e convergência em torno da necessidade de alunos que frequentam centros educativos, familiares e professores em formação para se capacitarem em EAS e divergências sobre a forma e quem deve realizá-la. Concluímos propondo algumas dimensões finais que devem ser consideradas e instando a uma maior investigação sobre essa temática ainda pouco estudada., Con el propósito de conocer la relación entre familias y escuela en relación a la educación afectivo-sexual (EAS) y desde una metodología mixta hemos desarrollado en una primera fase una encuesta a 55 padres y madres y 43 docentes en formación del Máster de Profesorado de Secundaria y del grado de Educación Infantil y posteriormente desarrollamos dos grupos de discusión con 10 familiares y 12 docentes. Los resultados muestran lo que hemos denominado puntos de encuentro y convergencia en torno a la necesidad de que el alumnado que asiste a los centros educativos, los familiares y el profesorado en formación se formen en EAS y divergencias sobre la forma y las personas que deben llevarla a cabo. Concluimos proponiendo varias dimensiones finales que consideramos que debemos tener en cuenta e instando a seguir investigando sobre esta temática que todavía sigue poco estudiada.

35. Gênero e ensino secundário: Experiências e estratégias dos professores

The main objective of this study was to analyse the eventual negative effects associated with male teachers in Portuguese secondary education as well as their strategies for integrating into a profession where women are in the majority. We carried out sixteen individual semi-structured interviews with eight male and eight female teachers and with the contents then submitted to thematic analysis. The analytical findings demonstrate how men, in this context, experience different consequences from those experienced by women facing similar situations while also identifying advantages accruing due to membership of the minority. The experiences of men and the perceptions of women suggest the existence of pressure for men to portray, as teachers, the traits of hegemonic masculinity., Cette étude a analysé les effets négatifs possiblement associés aux enseignants hommes dans l’enseignement secondaire portugais, ainsi que leurs stratégies d’intégration dans une profession majoritairement féminine. 16 entretiens individuels semi-directifs ont été menés auprès de 8 enseignants et de 8 enseignantes et leur contenu a été soumis à une analyse thématique. L’analyse montre que, dans un même contexte, les conséquences sur les hommes diffèrent de celles vécues par les femmes et, qu’en outre, appartenir à la minorité présente certains avantages. Les expériences des hommes et les perceptions des femmes suggèrent qu’il existe une pression pour que les hommes, en tant qu’enseignants, revêtent les traits de la masculinité hégémonique., Este estudo analisou os possíveis efeitos negativos associados aos homens docentes do ensino secundário português, bem como as suas estratégias para se integrarem em uma profissão em que as mulheres são maioritárias. Foram realizadas 16 entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas com 8 professores e 8 professoras, e os seus conteúdos foram submetidos a uma análise temática. A análise evidencia que os homens, nesse contexto, experienciam consequências distintas daquelas que as mulheres em situações similares vivenciam, assinalando-se, ainda, vantagens pela pertença à minoria. As experiências dos homens e as perceções das mulheres sugerem a existência de pressão para que os homens evidenciem, enquanto professores, os traços da masculinidade hegemônica., Este estudio analizó los posibles efectos negativos asociados a los hombres profesores de la educación secundaria portuguesa, así como sus estrategias para integrarse en una profesión en la que las mujeres son mayoría. Fueron realizadas 16 entrevistas individuales semiestructuradas con 8 profesores y 8 profesoras, y sus contenidos fueron sometidos a un análisis temático. El análisis muestra que los hombres, en este contexto, experimentan consecuencias diferentes de aquellas que las mujeres en situaciones similares experimentan, destacando también las ventajas de pertenecer a la minoría. Las experiencias de los hombres y las percepciones de las mujeres sugieren la existencia de presiones para que los hombres demuestren, como docentes, los rasgos de la masculinidad hegemónica.

Athletes are icons of sport, as they are considered models to be imitated by society in general, specifically by students. The objective of this study was to verify whether the imagery references of professional athletes represented in physical education textbooks in elementary school I and II in Brazil perpetuate male sports models, or, on the contrary, make visible female sports models. We used a descriptive and comparative methodology by publishers, and, as a research technique, content analysis. The results show the predominance of the male sports model in the images. Therefore, it is necessary that publishers review these teaching materials to increase female representation and begin offering female sports role models to students., Los y las deportistas son iconos del deporte, ya que se consideran modelos a imitar por la sociedad en general, en particular por el alumnado. El objetivo de este estudio fue verificar si las referencias de las imágenes de deportistas profesionales representadas en los libros de texto de educación física en la educación primaria y secundaria en Brasil perpetúan modelos deportivos masculinos, o, por el contrario, visibilizan modelos deportivos femeninos. Se utilizó una metodología descriptiva y comparativa por editoriales, siendo el análisis de contenido la técnica de investigación. Los resultados muestran el predominio del modelo deportivo masculino en las imágenes. Por lo tanto, es necesario que las editoriales revisen estos materiales didácticos para aumentar la representación de mujeres y empezar a ofrecer modelos deportivos femeninos al estudiantado., Les athlètes sont des icônes sportifs, car ils sont tenus pour des modèles à être suivis par la société en géneral et, plus précisément, par les étudiants. Le but de cette étude a été de vérifier si l’images d’athlètes professionnels trouvées dans les livres didactiques brésiliens d’éducation physique perpétuent des modèles sportifs masculins ou bien rendent visibles des modèles féminins. On a employé une méthodologie descriptive et comparative des maisons d’édition analysées, et l’analyse de contenu comme technique de recherche. Les résultats révèlent que prévalent les images des modèles sportifs masculins. Il est donc nécessaire que les éditeurs révisent ces supports pédagogiques pour accroître la représentation des femmes et commencent à proposer aux étudiants des modèles sportifs féminins., Os atletas são ícones do esporte, pois são considerados modelos a serem imitados pela sociedade em geral, especificamente pelos alunos. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar se as referências imagéticas de atletas profissionais representadas nos livros didáticos de educação física no ensino fundamental I e II no Brasil perpetuam modelos esportivos masculinos, ou tornam visíveis os modelos esportivos femininos. Utilizamos uma metodologia descritiva e comparativa por editoras, e, como técnica de pesquisa, a análise de conteúdo. Os resultados mostram o predomínio do modelo esportivo masculino nas imagens. Portanto é necessário que as editoras revisem esses materiais didáticos para aumentar a representatividade feminina e passar a oferecer modelos esportivos femininos aos discentes.

This article analyzes the social transformations converging in “the revolution of LGBT rights” in Argentina. Unlike other short-term perspectives focusing on the strategies of LGBT organizations and on sudden and recent shifts in politics, our study concentrates on the historical transformations of varying length that established the conditions under which the struggle for same-sex marriage could succeed. Among other trends, we will analyze the changes in family structure, the relation between same-sex marriage and Argentine national identity at the end of the 19th century, the decline of religion, and the transformation of male homosexual subculture over the four decades prior to 2010 when same sex marriage was passed. El artículo analiza las transformaciones sociales que convergieron en “la revolución de los derechos LGBT” en Argentina. A diferencia de otras perspectivas cortoplacistas que se enfocan en las estrategias de las organizaciones LGBT y en cambios repentinos y recientes en la política, nuestro estudio se concentra en las transformaciones históricas de mediana y larga duración que establecieron las condiciones bajo las cuales la lucha por el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo pudo tener éxito. Entre otras tendencias, analizaremos los cambios en la estructura familiar, la relación entre el matrimonio igualitario y la identidad nacional argentina a fines del siglo XIX, el declive de la religión y la transformación de la subcultura homosexual masculina a lo largo de las cuatro décadas anteriores a la aprobación del matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo en el año 2010. L’article analyse les transformations sociales qui ont culminé avec « la révolution des droits LGBT » en Argentine. À la différence d’autres approches de court terme plutôt axées sur les stratégies des organisations LGTB et sur différents moments de la conjoncture politique argentine, notre travail se penchera sur les transformations sociales de moyen terme qui ont engendré les conditions pour que la révolution des droits LGBT puisse aboutir dans le pays. Ainsi, divers aspects seront mis en exergue, tels que les changements dans la structure de la famille, les relations entre le soutien au mariage entre personnes du même sexe et la construction de l’idée de la nation argentine vers la fin du xixe siècle, le déclin de la religion et, enfin, la transformation de la sous-culture homosexuelle masculine qui a lieu depuis les années 1960, aboutissant à l’approbation du mariage pour tous en 2010.

This article considers the relationship between communism and feminism in the inter-war period, taking as its starting point the transnational debate between researchers of diverse backgrounds that has emerged in a new journal devoted to women’s and gender history in Eastern Europe. It proposes three different angles on the ambiguous feminism of the Communist International and other party organizations, looking first at the opportunities and limitations represented by the formal equality accorded to women communists, and then at the development and reception of more radical ideas, before ending with three case studies of women cadres that reveal the negotiations involved in reconciling the contradictory expectations promoted by the Stalinist regime and communist organizations. L’article porte sur le rapport entre communisme et féminisme dans l’entre-deux-guerres en prenant comme point de départ un débat transnational entre chercheuses d’horizons divers, débat paru dans une revue sur l’histoire des femmes et du genre dans les pays d’Europe de l’Est fondée récemment. Trois approches différentes permettent d’éclairer la position ambiguë du féminisme dans les organisations communistes et l’Internationale communiste. Dans un premier temps, ce sont les opportunités et les limites de l’égalité formelle offerte aux femmes communistes qui sont abordées, puis les positions théoriques les plus innovantes et leur réception. This article discusses the writings of Fúlvia Rosemberg and her contribution to social and educational research. It analyzes in the author’s work the concepts of “non-synchrony” of social hierarchies at the intersection of the hierarchies of race, gender, and age in educational policies and of whiteness, understood as the norm of humanity, which reveals the naturalized social norm at the center of the black-white hierarchy and the need to criticize it. The concepts mobilized and the form of analysis keep vivid the interest of the work and the concepts for the analysis of educational and social inequalities., Cet article examine les écrits de Fúlvia Rosemberg et leur apport à la recherche en sciences sociales et éducation. Il analyse, dans son oeuvre, les concepts de non-synchronie des hiérarchies sociales à l’intersection des hiérarchies de race, de genre et d’âge dans les politiques éducatives ainsi que celui de blancheur, comprise comme norme de l’humanité, révélant la norme sociale naturalisée au sein de la hiérarchie blanc/noir et l’urgence de critiquer cette dernière. Analiza en el trabajo de la autora los conceptos de no sincronía de las jerarquías sociales en las intersecciones de jerarquías raciales, género y la edad en las políticas educativas y de blancura, entendida como una norma de humanidad, que revela la norma social naturalizada situada en el centro de la jerarquía blanco-negra y la necesidad de su crítica. Los conceptos movilizados y la forma de análisis mantienen vivo el interés del trabajo y los conceptos para el análisis de las desigualdades educativas y sociales.

44. Indisciplina na sala de aula e suas nuances de gênero

This article presents part of the findings of an ethnographic study that analyzes the influence of gender on the indiscipline of 11- and 12-year-old children. We observed that, although boys exhibit disruptive behaviors more frequently, girls also transgress the rules of the pedagogical game, but they do so in a more discreet way and in accordance with the patterns incorporated into the structure of the school order. The results indicate that the notions of gender and the forms of masculinity and femininity guide the behavior of boys and girls, as well as interfere in the perception and, consequently, in the way in which teachers deal with indiscipline in the classroom – resulting in the continuation of binary gender divisions., Cet article présente une partie des résultats d’une étude ethnographique qui analyse les interfaces de genre jouant à l’indiscipline des enfants de la classe d’âge de 11 et 12 ans. On a remarqué que, encore que les garçons protagonisent le plus souvent les conduites disruptives, les filles, elles aussi, transgressent les règles du jeu pédagogique, mais d’une façon plus discrète et plus conforme aux formes intégrées de la structure de l’ordre scolaire. Les résultats signalent que les notions de genre, les formes de masculinité et féminilité façonnent la conduite des garçons et des filles, et interviennent dans la perception et, par conséquent, dans la manière dont les enseignants font face à l’indiscipline en salle de classe, ce qui mène au maintien de la division binaire des genres., Este artigo apresenta parte dos resultados de um estudo etnográfico que analisa as interfaces de gênero na indisciplina de crianças na faixa etária de 11 e 12 anos. Observamos que, embora os comportamentos disruptivos sejam protagonizados mais frequentemente pelos meninos, as meninas também transgridem as regras do jogo pedagógico, mas o fazem de maneira mais discreta e de acordo com formas incorporadas da estrutura da ordem escolar. Os resultados indicam que as noções de gênero e as formas de masculinidade e feminilidade orientam o comportamento de meninos e meninas, bem como interferem na percepção e, consequentemente, na maneira como os docentes lidam com a indisciplina na sala de aula, tendo como resultado a sustentação de divisões binárias de gênero., Este artículo presenta parte de los resultados de un estudio etnográfico que analiza las interfaces de género en la indisciplina de niños de 11 y 12 años. Observamos que, aunque las conductas disruptivas son más a menudo dirigidas por niños, las niñas también transgreden las reglas del juego pedagógico, pero lo hacen de manera más discreta y de acuerdo con las formas incorporadas desde la estructura del orden escolar. Los resultados indican que las nociones de género, las formas de masculinidad y feminidad guían el comportamiento de niños y niñas, además de interferir en la percepción y, en consecuencia, en la forma en que los maestros lidian con la indisciplina en el aula, lo que resulta en el apoyo de divisiones binarias de género.

The article presents individual experiences of incorporating gender perspective in Social Communication studies. Both experiments were developed at the University of Malaga: Theories of Communication (under graduation course in Journalism) and Audiovisual Script (under graduation course in Audiovisual Communication). The implementation of gender perspective involves curricular adaptations, the incorporation of broader and more diverse references, and the acknowledgement of contributions to knowledge from other epistemologies. The studies of Theories of Communication have contributed to the formative practice with a repertoire on the theorities of Communication and Audiovisual Script, where the teaching-learning process was based on the analysis of cinematographic works created and starred by women., Cet article présente des expériences concernant l’inclusion de la perspective de genre dans deux formations de communication proposées à l’Université de Málaga: Théories de la Communication (Licence en Journalisme) et Scénario Audiovisuel (Licence en communication audiovisuelle). La mise en oeuvre de la perspective de genre implique non seulement des adaptations curriculaires, mais aussi l’inclusion de références plus larges et plus diverses et une meilleure visibilité des contributions à la connaissance issues d’autres épistémologies. Dans le domaine des théories de la Communication, la pratique formative appuierait désormais sur un recueil de contributions concernant la théorie de la communication et, dans le domaine du scénario audiovisuel, le processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage reposerait sur l’analyse d’oeuvres cinématographiques créés et réalisées par des femmes., O artigo apresenta experiências individuais de incorporação da perspectiva de gênero na formação em Comunicação Social, ambas desenvolvidas na Universidade de Málaga: Teorias da Comunicação (Graduação em Jornalismo) e Roteiro Audiovisual (Graduação em Comunicação Audiovisual). A implementação da perspectiva de gênero passa pelas adaptações curriculares, a incorporação de referências mais amplas e diversas, a visibilização das contribuições ao conhecimento desde outras epistemologias. 46. El abandono escolar desde la interseccionalidad: el género marca diferencias

The present study addresses school dropout, a topic of interest at national and international levels. This construct responds to ways of understanding excellence within hierarchies (social, educational or cultural). We are interested in its analysis, based on an intersectional aspect in which gender certainly plays a key role. The analysis is based on qualitative research conducted using semi-structured interviews with 18 girls, aged 12 to 16 years, born in Cádiz (Spain), who dropped out of school. Nvivo11 was applied to the processing of the data. The young participants show that gender is significant: the responsibility for care, or stereotyped roles, among other elements, are the reasons for dropping out., Ce travail traite de l’abandon scolaire, un sujet d’intérêt au niveau national et international qui répond aux manières de comprendre l’excellence au sein des hiérarchies (sociales, éducatives ou culturelles). L’angle d’analyse intersectionnel, dans lequel le genre joue indubitablement un rôle clé a été privilegié. L’analyse adopte une approche qualitative, par le biais d’entretiens semi-structurés, auprès de 18 jeunes filles âgées de 12 à 16 ans, nées à Cadix (Espagne), ayant toutes abandonné le système éducatif. Le traitement des données s’est fait à l’aide du logiciel Nvivo11. Les jeunes participantes ont montré que le genre est un facteur déterminant: la responsabilité des soins ou les rôles stéréotypés étant, parmi d’autres éléments, des raisons d’abandon., O trabalho aborda o abandono educativo, tema de interesse em nível nacional e internacional. Esse constructo responde a formas de entender a excelência no âmbito das hierarquias (sociais, educacionais ou culturais). Interessa-nos sua análise com base em um olhar interseccional, na qual sem dúvida o gênero desempenha um papel chave. A análise é realizada a partir da pesquisa qualitativa, escutando as vozes de 18 garotas de 12 a 16 anos, nascidas em Cádiz (Espanha), que abandonaram o sistema educativo; o acesso a elas foi realizado através de entrevistas semiestru-turadas. Foi aplicado o Nvivo11 no tratamento dos dados. As jovens participantes mostram que o gênero é determinante: a responsabilidade pelo cuidado ou os papéis estereotipados, entre outros elementos, são motivos para o abandono., El trabajo aborda el abandono educativo, tema de interés, a nivel nacional e internacional. Este constructo responde a formas de entender la excelencia en el marco de las jerarquías (sociales, educativas o culturales). Nos interesa su análisis desde una mirada interseccional, en la que sin duda el género juega un papel clave. El análisis se realiza desde la investigación cualitativa, escuchando las voces de 18 chicas entre 12 y 16 años, nacidas en Cádiz (España) y que han abandonado el sistema educativo; accediendo a ellas mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas. Se aplicó Nvivo11 en el tratamiento de los datos. Las jóvenes participantes muestran que el género es determinante: la responsabilidad otorgada de cuidado o los roles estereotipados, entre otros elementos, son motivos para el abandono.
