Hot stamping of high-strength steel plays an increasingly important role as the demand for automotive lightweighting increases. However, the existing hot stamping process faces challenges such as a lack of digital monitoring, limited monitoring scope, unintuitive production data, and untimely analysis of production events. This paper proposes a framework for a hot stamping production monitoring system based on digital twin technology. By exploring key technologies, including finite state machine (FSM) modeling of the production process, collection, and storage of multi-source data, a digital twin monitoring system for the hot stamping line was developed by combining the data with virtual 3D equipment for multi-dimensional information integration. The system can visualize production information from multiple dimensions and reproduce the production process to analyze production events. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the digital twin system were verified through real-world scenarios, providing valuable insights for hot stamping production process monitoring. Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a common systemic inflammatory disease resulting from the activation of trypsinogen by various incentives in ICU. The annual incidence rate is approximately 30 out of 100,000. Some patients may progress to severe acute pancreatitis, with a mortality rate of up to 40%. Therefore, the goal of this article is to explore the key genes for effective diagnosis and treatment of AP. The analysis data for this study were merged from two GEO datasets. 1357 DEGs were used for functional enrichment and cMAP analysis, aiming to reveal the pathogenic genes and potential mechanisms of AP, as well as potential drugs for treating AP. Importantly, the study used LASSO and SVM-RFE machine learning to screen the most likely AP occurrence biomarker for Prdx4 among numerous candidate genes. A receiver operating characteristic of Prdx4 was used to estimate the incidence of AP. The ssGSEA algorithm was employed to investigate immune cell infiltration in AP. The biomarker Prdx4 gene exhibited significant associations with a majority of immune cells and was identified as being expressed in NKT cells, macrophages, granulocytes, and B cells based on single-cell transcriptome data. Finally, we found an increase in Prdx4 expression in the pancreatic tissue of AP mice through immunohistochemistry. After treatment with recombinant Prdx4, the pathological damage to the pancreatic tissue of AP mice was relieved. Sepsis remains a critical concern in intensive care units due to its high mortality rate. Early identification and intervention are paramount to improving patient outcomes. In this study, we have proposed predictive models for early sepsis prediction based on time-series data, utilizing both CNN-Transformer and LSTM-Transformer architectures. By collecting time-series data from patients at 4, 8, and 12 h prior to sepsis diagnosis and subjecting it to various network models for analysis and comparison. In contrast to traditional recurrent neural networks, our model exhibited a substantial improvement of approximately 20%. On average, our model demonstrated an accuracy of 0.964 (± 0.018), a precision of 0.956 (± 0.012), a recall of 0.967 (± 0.012), and an F1 score of 0.959 (± 0.014). Furthermore, by adjusting the time window, it was observed that the Transformer-based model demonstrated exceptional predictive capabilities, particularly within the earlier time window (i.e., 12 h before onset), thus holding significant promise for early clinical diagnosis and intervention. Besides, we employed the SHAP algorithm to visualize the weight distribution of different features, enhancing the interpretability of our model and facilitating early clinical diagnosis and intervention. Purpose: Recent technological advancements in data acquisition tools allowed neuroscientists to acquire different modality data to diagnosis Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, how to fuse these enormous amount different modality data to improve recognizing rate and find significance brain regions is still challenging. Methods: The algorithm used multimodal medical images [structural magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI) and positron emission tomography (PET)] as experimental data. Deep feature representations of sMRI and PET images are extracted by 3D convolution neural network (3DCNN). An improved Transformer is then used to progressively learn global correlation information among features. Finally, the information from different modalities is fused for identification. A model-based visualization method is used to explain the decisions of the model and identify brain regions related to AD. Results: The model attained a noteworthy classification accuracy of 98.1% for Alzheimer's disease (AD) using the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset. Upon examining the visualization results, distinct brain regions associated with AD diagnosis were observed across different image modalities. Notably, the left parahippocampal region emerged consistently as a prominent and significant brain area. Conclusions: A large number of comparative experiments have been carried out for the model, and the experimental results verify the reliability of the model. In addition, the model adopts a visualization analysis method based on the characteristics of the model, which improves the interpretability of the model. Grassland has great potential for carbon sequestration; however, the relationship between carbon storage (CS) and greenhouse gas (GHG) budget and their influencing factors in the natural restoration process in grassland mining areas are rarely studied. In this study, taking Zhalainuoer mining area in Inner Mongolia as an example, the subsidence soil for 1-, 2-, 5-, 10-, and 15-year and non-subsidence soil were selected as the research objects to explore the relationship between CS and the GHG budget and their influencing factors. The results show that there is a significant negative correlation between CS and the GHG budget. Soil organic carbon storage accounts for 99% of CS. CS is positively correlated with SOM and AP, and with the bacteria Entotheonellaeota. The GHG budget is mainly affected by CO2 emission, which is positively correlated with subsidence time, plant biomass, and coverage, negatively correlated with the bacteria Actinobacteriota and Deinococcota, and positively correlated with Cyanobacteria. In summary, soil plays a major role in storing carbon. Carbon sequestration is a physiological process produced by plants and organisms. Subsidence affects soil CS by changing soil properties and thus affecting its aboveground vegetation and soil microorganisms. This study investigates the changes in soil carbon storage following subsidence caused by mining activities. Canola is the second-largest cultivated oilseed crop in the world and produces meal consisting of about 35–40% proteins. Despite this, less than 1% of the global plant-based protein market is taken up by canola protein. The reason behind such underutilization of canola protein and its rapeseed counterpart could be the harsh conditions of the industrial oil extraction process, the dark colour of the meal, the presence of various antinutrients, the variability in the protein composition based on the source, and the different properties of the two major protein components. Although academic research has shown immense potential for the use of canola protein and its rapeseed counterpart in emulsion development and stabilization, there is still a vast knowledge gap in efficiently utilizing canola proteins as an effective emulsifier in the development of various emulsion-based foods and beverages. In this context, this review paper summarizes the last 15 years of research on canola and rapeseed proteins as food emulsifiers. It discusses the protein extraction methods, modifications made to improve emulsification, emulsion composition, preparation protocols, and emulsion stability results. The need for further improvement in the scope of the research and reducing the knowledge gap is also highlighted, which could be useful for the food industry to rationally select canola proteins and optimize the processing parameters to obtain products with desirable attributes. Background: The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of ultrasound-guided PENG (pericapsular nerve group) block and drug therapy with intravenous flurbiprofen for early analgesia in elderly patients with hip fractures after hospitalization. Methods: This is a single-center, observer-blinded, prospective, randomized, controlled trial. A total of 41 elderly patients (aged 60 or older) with hip fractures were enrolled in the current study. Patients were randomly assigned to two groups: Group P (ultrasound-guided PENG block, 20 mL of 0.375% ropivacaine) and Group F (intravenous flurbiprofen 50 mg). The primary outcome measure was the dynamic (passive straight leg raising 15°) NRS (numerical rating scale 0 to 10) pain scores at different time points. The secondary outcomes were the static NRS scores at different time points, the number of rescue analgesia sessions, patient satisfaction, and the incidence of complications. Results: Patients in the two groups had comparable baseline characteristics. The group P had lower dynamic and static NRS scores at 15 min, 30 min, 6 h, and 12 h after intervention (P<0.05) than the group F. The highest NRS pain scores in the group P were still lower than the NRS scores in the group F at 30 min-12 h (Group F: 5.57±1.54 vs. Group P: 3.00±1.12, P<0.001), and there was no significant difference between the two groups at 12-24 h (Group F: 6.35±1.79 vs. Group P: 5.90±1.83, P>0.05). The group P had higher satisfaction scores (Group P: 9 (9,9) vs. Group F: 8 (7,8), P<0.001). There was no statistically significant difference in the number of rescue analgesics at 0-12 h or 12-24 h or the incidence of complications between the groups. Conclusions: Compared with intravenous flurbiprofen, ultrasound-guided PENG block provides better early analgesic effects in elderly patients with hip fractures, and a PENG block is safe for elderly patients with hip fractures after hospitalization. The ovary is a highly susceptible organ to senescence, and granulosa cells (GCs) have a crucial role in oocyte development promotion and overall ovarian function maintenance. As age advances, GCs apoptosis and dysfunction escalate, leading to ovarian aging. However, the molecular mechanisms underpinning ovarian aging remain poorly understood. In this study, we observed a correlation between the age-related decline of fertility and elevated expression levels of miR-143-3p in female mice. Moreover, miR-143-3p was highly expressed in senescent ovarian GCs. The overexpression of miR-143-3p in GCs not only hindered their proliferation and induced senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) but also impeded steroid hormone synthesis by targeting ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 E3 (Ube2e3) and luteinizing hormone and human chorionic gonadotropin receptor (Lhcgr). These findings suggest that miR-143-3p plays a substantial role in senescence and steroid hormone synthesis in GCs, indicating its potential as a therapeutic target for interventions in the ovarian aging process. The Confucian philosophy of the Dao of due consideration 恕 (shu) and of "Do not impose upon others what you yourself do not desire " 己所不欲，勿施於人 undoubtedly involves the question of "others" and addresses the spiritual pursuit of individual equality, mutual agreement, and communality. Confucianism's theory of practice 工夫 (gongfu), while emphasizing the establishment and success of oneself, also requires the ability to make others established and successful. There are basically three paths for the virtuous subject to reach others: "taking what is near at hand as an analogy " 能近取譬 (neng jin qu pi), the "measure" 度 (duo) of considering other people's emotions on the basis of one's own emotions 將心比心 (jiang xin bi xin), and putting oneself in the place of others 推己及人 (tui ji ji ren). The present study, drawing on the long commentarial tradition, will fully explicate them as gongfu, that is, as concrete processes of moral practice, revealing the three paths of the Dao of due consideration from self to others, and interpreting them in relation to the dimension of the other in Confucian ethical philosophy. All three are unified and highly practical and are effective means of realizing Confucian benevolence 仁 (ren). They do not exist in a sequential ascending relationship. Through diligent moral practice, people can "help others to take their stand" 立人 (liren) and "help others to realize themselves" 達人 (daren) by following any one of the three types of gongfu. In this work, we consider the monotone inclusion problem in real Hilbert spaces and propose a simple inertial method that does not include any evaluations of the associated resolvent and projection. Under suitable assumptions, we establish the strong convergence of the method to a minimal norm solution. Saddle points of minimax problems and critical points problems are considered as the applications. Background: Information available to date regarding the pregnancy outcomes of intrauterine insemination (IUI) without ovarian stimulation (OS) in infertile patients with unilateral tubal occlusion remains scarce. The objectives of this study were to investigate for couples affected by unilateral tubal occlusion (diagnosed via hysterosalpingography (HSG)/transvaginal real-time three-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (TVS RT-3D-HyCoSy)) and male infertility: (1) whether significant differences exist in pregnancy outcomes between IUI with or without OS cycles, and (2) whether the pregnancy outcomes of IUI without OS in women with unilateral tubal occlusion were similar to those of women with bilateral patent tubes. Methods: 258 couples affected by male infertility completed 399 IUI cycles. The cycles were divided into three groups: group A, IUI without OS in women with unilateral tubal occlusion; group B, IUI with OS in women with unilateral tubal occlusion; and group C, IUI without OS in women with bilateral patent tubes. The main outcome measures, including clinical pregnancy rate (CPR), live birth rate (LBR), and first trimester miscarriage rate, were compared between either groups A and B or groups A and C. Results: Although the number of dominant follicles > 16 mm were significantly higher in group B than that in group A (group B vs. group A: 1.6 ± 0.6 vs. 1.0 ± 0.2, P < 0.001), the CPR, LBR, and first trimester miscarriage rate were comparable between these two groups. When comparing group C to group A, the duration of infertility was significantly longer in group C than that in group A (group A vs. group C: 2.3 ± 1.2 (year) vs. 2.9 ± 2.1 (year), P = 0.017). Except for the first trimester miscarriage rate, which was significantly higher in group A (42.9%, 3/7) than that in group C (7.1%, 2/28) (P = 0.044), no significant differences were observed in the CPR and LBR in these two groups. After adjusting for female age, body mass index, and the duration of infertility, similar results were obtained between groups A and C. Conclusions: In couples affected by unilateral tubal occlusion (diagnosed via HSG/TVS RT-3D-HyCoSy) and male infertility, IUI without OS might be an alternative treatment strategy. However, when compared to patients with bilateral patent tubes, the patients with unilateral tubal occlusion showed a higher first trimester miscarriage rate following IUI without OS cycles. Background: Blastocyst developmental speed, morphological grading and patient age are associated with pregnancy outcomes of frozen-thawed cycles. This study aimed to compare the clinical and neonatal outcomes between poor-quality D5 blastocysts and good-quality D6 blastocysts stratified by patient age. Methods: A total of 1,623 cycles were divided into two groups: group A (n = 723) received one D5 poor-quality blastocyst; group B (n = 900) received one D6 good-quality blastocyst. Pregnancy and neonatal outcomes were compared among the four groups stratified by 35 years of age. Results: When patients were in the same age group, there was no significant difference in terms of age, body mass index, infertility duration, infertility type, fertilization method, proportion of endometrial preparation protocols, and endometrial thickness between D5 poor-quality and D6 high-quality blastocysts groups. Live birth rate of D5 poor-quality blastocysts was higher than that of D6 high-quality blastocysts for patients aged < 35 years (35.48% vs. 31.13%, p > 0.05), but there was no statistical difference. The same trend was showed for patients aged ≥ 35 years (29.09% vs. 21.28%, p > 0.05). Moreover, when patients were in the same age category, there was no significant difference in terms of gestational age, birth weight, birth height, and rates of preterm birth, low birth weight, and very low birth weight between groups A and B. Conclusions: The preferential selection of poor-quality D5 blastocysts for transfer compared to high-quality D6 blastocysts is recommended, especially for advanced age patients. Objective: The aim of this paper is to provide a systematic review of research on physical exercise in real-world settings on executive function of typical children and adolescents. Methods: The CNKI, WOS, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SPORTDiscus databases were searched by computer. Two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted data, and evaluated the risk of bias in the included literature. Statistical analysis was performed using frequency and percentage and the χ2 test. Results: A total of 49 articles was included. Acute (moderate intensity lasting 30–50 min) and long-term (interventions of moderate intensity of 30–50 min at least 3 times a week for 17 weeks or more) physical exercises in real-world settings have positive intervention effects on executive function. Furthermore, for acute interventions, closed skills are more efficient for inhibitory control, open skills are more efficient for working memory and cognitive flexibility, and open-continuous and closed-sequential skills are the most efficient; long-term interventions with open skills, sequential skills, and open-sequential skills are more effective. Conclusion: Physical exercise in real-world settings has a good promotion effect on typical children and adolescents, and motor skills with open and/or sequential attributes are more helpful in improving executive function. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of osimertinib in patients treated with first- and second-generation EGFR-TKIs followed by later-line osimertinib treatment. Patients: The clinical data and survival outcomes of 172 patients with advanced NSCLC treated with osimertinib following frontline EGFR-TKIs at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital from 2014 to 2018 were retrospectively reviewed. T790M mutations were detected using tissue sequencing and/or liquid biopsy. Results: A total of 172 EGFR-mutated NSCLC patients treated with frontline EGFR-TKI therapy followed by later-line osimertinib were enrolled in the current study and divided into three groups based on the T790M status (positive, negative, or unknown T790M). Patients with NSCLC harboring acquired T790M mutation treated with osimertinib had the best objective response rate (ORR) (52.6%, 25.0%, and 32.0%, p = 0.044), disease control rate (DCR) (79.3%, 41.7%, and 68.0%, p = 0.011), and progression-free survival (PFS, median PFS, 12.6, 3.1, 10.4 months, p = 0.001) among the three groups (positive, negative, and unknown T790M, respectively). However, a marked difference was found between positive and negative T790M mutations but not between positive and unknown T790M mutations. Univariate analysis was performed to identify potential prognostic factors for PFS in 172 patients treated with osimertinib. Lung metastasis (p < 0.001), brain metastasis (p < 0.009), number of metastatic sites (p < 0.001), PFS with frontline EGFR-TKIs (p = 0.03), and T790M status (p = 0.006) were identified as prognostic factors for PFS with osimertinib. Multivariate analysis showed that lung metastasis (p < 0.001) and PFS with frontline EGFR-TKIs and T790M status were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion: This study confirmed the greater efficacy of later-line osimertinib for NSCLC with acquired T790M mutation than for NSCLC without acquired T790M mutation. Background: The aim of this study is to evaluate analgesic efficacy of pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block in patients with intertrochanteric femur fracture (IFF). Methods: This double-blinded randomized controlled trial in patients with IFF scheduled for proximal femoral nail antirotation (PFNA) between December 2020 and November 2021. The primary outcome was VAS scores during exercising at 6 h after surgery; secondary outcomes were pain during exercising and rest, intraoperative dose of remifentanil, cumulative dose of postoperative fentanyl, postoperative analgesia satisfaction scores, and ratio of quadriceps weakness. Results: A total of 50 patients were randomly divided into PENG block group (n = 25) or fascia iliaca compartment block (FICB) group (n = 25). Exercising VAS scores at 6 h after surgery were significantly lower in PENG block group than that in FICB group (2 (2, 4) vs. 6 (4, 7), P < 0.001). The intraoperative dose of remifentanil and cumulative dose of postoperative fentanyl by patient-controlled intravenous analgesia within 24 h after surgery in PENG block group were significantly lower than in FICB group (both P < 0.001). Postoperative analgesia satisfaction scores in PENG block group were significantly higher than those in FICB group (P = 0.016). The ratio of quadriceps weakness at 6 h after surgery was significantly higher in FICB group than PENG block group (48% vs. 0%, P < 0.001). Aiming at the problems of style loss and lack of content in the style transfer of Chinese art works, this paper puts forward the style transfer technology of Chinese art works based on the dual channel deep learning model. On the basis of clarifying the technical principle of style transfer of art works, the image of art works is controlled and transformed based on the u-net network. The incomplete information in the restored image is filled, and the multiscale classification feature is used to calculate the color feature data items in the image. The sensitivity coefficient of color difference is calculated by using constraints, and the overlapping color discrimination and image segmentation of art images are realized. Poisson image editing is used to constrain the image spatial gradient to realize the style migration of art works. The experimental results show that this method can effectively avoid the problems of content error, distortion, and distortion in the process of art style migration, and has a better style migration effect. With the great stride forward of socialist progress, various medical treatment measures have also made a leap forward in development, providing a deeper guarantee for people's life safety. At the same time, the research field of nanotechnology has gradually developed in the medical field, which plays an important role in the development of medicine, and massage exercise rehabilitation training also provides convenience for patients' recuperation. The purpose of this study is to study the application of composite NanoBone transplantation in patients with limb replantation and the application of massage exercise rehabilitation training in patients with limb replantation. The methods used in this paper are: consulting the literature to understand the composite NanoBone transplantation technology and massage exercise rehabilitation training methods, interviewing the patients and attending doctors, and asking about the selection method of experiment and questionnaire used in the paper, so as to carry out the questionnaire survey. The treatment group and the control group were set up to analyze the results. The results showed that there were no significant differences in T lymphocyte subsets, serum complement, and circulating immune complex in the replantation of amputated limbs. Combined with the clinical manifestations and pathological results, early rejection occurred, and the body temperature of the patients increased after clinical treatment; The characteristics of massage are not practical, the course of treatment is short, the effect is fast, the clinical operation is simple, easy to grasp, and has high clinical application and promotion value. The final test results showed that: comparing the two groups of patients before treatment, the VAS scores were 23% and 21%, respectively, and the treatment group scores were 23% and 21%, respectively. After treatment, the VAS scores of the test group and the control group were 29 % and 27%, respectively. The treatment group scored 2% higher than the control group. Background. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality due to its repetitive remission and relapse. The Jian-Wei-Yu-Yang (JW) formula has a historical application in the clinic to combat gastrointestinal disorders. The investigation aimed to explore the molecular and cellular mechanisms of JW. Methods. 2% dextran sodium sulfate (DSS) was diluted in drinking water and given to mice for 5 days to establish murine models of experimental colitis, and different doses of JW solution were administered for 14 days. Network pharmacology analysis and weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) were utilized to predict the therapeutic role of JW against experimental colitis and colitis-associated colorectal cancer (CAC). 16S rRNA sequencing and untargeted metabolomics were conducted using murine feces. Western blotting, immunocytochemistry, and wound healing experiments were performed to confirm the molecular mechanisms. Results. (1) Liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry was utilized to confirm the validity of the JW formula. The high dose of JW treatment markedly attenuated DSS-induced experimental colitis progression, and the targets were enriched in inflammation, infection, and tumorigenesis. (2) The JW targets were related to the survival probability in patients with colorectal cancer, underlying a potential therapeutic value in CRC intervention. (3) Moreover, the JW therapy successfully rescued the decreased richness and diversity of microbiota, suppressed the potentially pathogenic phenotype of the gut microorganisms, and increased cytochrome P450 activity in murine colitis models. Electronic textiles have been regarded as the basic building blocks for constructing a new generation of wearable electronics. However, the electronization of textiles often changes their original properties such as color, softness, glossiness, or flexibility. Here a rapid room‐temperature fabrication method toward conductive colorful threads and fabrics with Ag‐coated Cu (Cu‐Ag) nanonets is demonstrated. Cu–Ag core–shell nanowires are produced through a one‐pot synthesis followed by electroless deposition. According to the balance of draining and entraining forces, a fast dip‐withdraw process in a volatile solution is developed to tightly wrap Cu–Ag nanonets onto the fibers of thread. The modified threads are not only conductive, but they also retain their original features with enhanced mechanical stability and dry‐wash durability. Furthermore, various e‐textile devices are fabricated such as a fabric heater, touch screen gloves, a wearable real‐time temperature sensor, and warm fabrics against infrared thermal dissipation. Background. Existing antipsychotic medications may alleviate the majority of patients' symptoms, but they have no discernible impact on improving social function and quality of life. Psychotherapy is required for the treatment of schizophrenia. However, contemporary psychotherapy technology intervention techniques are limited to a single intervention, and there is a lack of holistic and complete intervention approaches. Social cognition and interaction training is a comprehensive therapy strategy that has been employed in clinical practice; however, the therapeutic efficacy has been inconsistently reported. As a result, we included controlled clinical trials for meta-analysis in order to carefully assess the efficacy of this therapy. Methods. This meta-analysis searched all RCT literatures related to social cognitive interaction training (SCIT) published before April 2022 and assessed the effect of this method in the treatment of schizophrenia. The data in the literatures were combined, and the standardized mean difference (SMD) and mean difference (MD) with 95% confidence interval (95% CI) were calculated to predict the negative symptom score, positive symptom score, PANSS score, and social function score of the patients after treatment. Results. 14 RCT studies including 1167 inpatients with schizophrenia were included in this study using a retrospective observational study method, including 590 patients treated with SCIT and 577 patients treated with treatment as usual (TAU). The pooled analysis showed that patients after SCIT had lower negative symptom scores (SMD = − 1.66 , 95% CI (-2.32, -1.00), P < 0.0001), lower positive symptom scores (MD = − 4.03 , 95% CI (-7.69, -0.36), P = 0.03), lower PANSS total scores (MD = − 6.33 , 95% CI (-12.43, -0.23), P = 0.02), and higher social functioning scores (SMD = 0.77 , 95% CI (0.34, 1.20), P < 0.001) than those after TAU. Conclusion. Our findings support that SCIT is helpful to improve the relief of symptoms and the improvement of social function in patients with schizophrenia, providing a basis for the application of SCIT in hospitalized patients and community patients, and can guide the treatment and intervention of patients with schizophrenia. Background: Immunoscore from tumor tissues was initially established to evaluate the prognosis of solid tumor patients. However, the feasibility of circulating immune score (cIS) for the prognosis of advanced gastrointestinal cancers (AGC) has not been reported. Material and methods: Peripheral venous blood was collected from 64 untreated AGC patients. We utilized flow cytometry to determine several immune cell subpopulations, including CD8+ and CD4+ T cells, NK cells, and CD4 + CD25 + CD127low Tregs. The circulating immune score 1 (cIS1) was assessed according to the proportions of CD4+, CD8+ T cells, and NK cell, whereas circulating immune score 2 (cIS2) was derived from the proportions of CD4+, CD8+ T cell, and CD4 + CD25 + CD127low Tregs. The prognostic role of cIS for progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) was analyzed using Kaplan–Meier curves and Cox multivariate models. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were depicted to compare the prognostic values of cIS1 and cIS2. Results: AGC patients with high cIS1(≥ 2) and cIS2(≥ 2) had significantly longer PFS (cIS1: median PFS, 11 vs. 6.7 months, P = 0.001; cIS2: 12 vs. 5.8 months, P < 0.0001) and OS (cIS1: median OS, 12 vs. 7.9 months, P = 0.0004; cIS2: 12.8 vs. 7.4 months, P < 0.0001) than those with low cIS1 and low cIS2. The areas under ROC curves (AUROCs) of cIS1 and cIS2 for OS were 0.526 (95% confidence interval; 95% CI 0.326–0.726) and 0.603 (95% CI 0.427–0.779, P = 0.332), whereas AUROC of cIS2 for PFS was larger than that of cIS1 0.735 (95% CI 0.609–0.837) vs 0.625 (95% CI 0.495–0.743) (P = 0.04)). Background: Gait disturbances may appear prior to cognitive dysfunction in the early stage of silent cerebrovascular disease (SCD). Subtle changes in gait characteristics may provide an early warning of later cognitive decline. Our team has proposed a vision-based artificial intelligent gait analyzer for the rapid detection of spatiotemporal parameters and walking pattern based on videos of the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between gait features assessed by our artificial intelligent gait analyzer and cognitive function changes in patients with SCD.Methods: This will be a multicenter prospective cohort study involving a total of 14 hospitals from Shanghai and Guizhou. One thousand and six hundred patients with SCD aged 60-85 years will be consecutively recruited. Eligible patients will undergo the intelligent gait assessment and neuropsychological evaluation at baseline and at 1-year follow-up. The intelligent gait analyzer will divide participant into normal gait group and abnormal gait group according to their walking performance in the TUG videos at baseline. All participants will be naturally observed during 1-year follow-up period. Primary outcome are the changes in Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score. Secondary outcomes include the changes in intelligent gait spatiotemporal parameters (step length, gait speed, step frequency, step width, standing up time, and turning back time), the changes in scores on other neuropsychological tests (Montreal Cognitive Assessment, the Stroop Color Word Test, and Digit Span Test), falls events, and cerebrovascular events. We hypothesize that both groups will show a decline in MMSE score, but the decrease of MMSE score in the abnormal gait group will be more significant.Conclusion: This study will be the first to explore the relationship between gait features assessed by an artificial intelligent gait analyzer and cognitive decline in patients with SCD. [Purpose/Significance] Wheat is one of the most important crops in the world, and its development of genetic and breeding technology plays an important role in the guarantee of global food security. Study about the patents of global wheat genetic and breeding technology as a new research field has a great significance on wheat yield and quality. [Method/Process] Patent analysis is used to filter, count and analyze relevant patent documents and convert them into usable information. During the development of wheat genetic breeding technology, a large volume of patent data have been generated. After data cleaning, 4 914 patents were obtained, of which 99.5% were invention patents and 0.5% were utility model patents. By using the methods of patent analysis and standardized data analysis, this paper performs statistical analysis on the patent documents published since 1977 collected from PatSnap database. Insights patent analysis system is used as a tool for patent analysis and valuation. The technical status, researching hotspots and developing trend of wheat genetic and breeding patents in the world can be studied from these following aspects, such as total number and trend of applied patents, distributions of countries' or regions' patents, technology composition, hot topics and patent value. In recent decades, many serious respiratory infections have broken out all over the world, including SARS-CoV, MERS, and COVID-19. They are characterized by strong infectivity, rapid disease progression, high mortality, and poor prognosis. Excessive immune system activation results in cytokine hypersecretion, which is an important reason for the aggravation of symptoms, and can spread throughout the body leading to systemic multiple organ dysfunction, namely, cytokine release syndrome (CRS). Although many diseases related to CRS have been identified, the mechanism of CRS is rarely mentioned clearly. This review is intended to clarify the pathogenetic mechanism of CRS in the deterioration of related diseases, describe the important signaling pathways and clinical pathophysiological characteristics of CRS, and provide ideas for further research and development of specific drugs for corresponding targets to treat CRS. For the past 50 years, open-ended coaxial lines were commonly employed for the determination of electromagnetic properties of various materials. In this article, the application of an open-ended hollow coaxial cable resonator (OE-HCCR) as a 1-D inclinometer for tilt measurements with 110 nanoradian (nrad) resolution is proposed and demonstrated. The coaxial cable resonant structure is formed between a metal post welded within the coaxial cable at the RF input end and the open end of the coaxial cable. A metal mass block, suspended in proximity to the open end in parallel is used to construct a pendulum structure, serving as the element responsive to a tilt. When the device is tilted, the distance between the mass block and the open end varies due to the displacement of the suspended pendulum. The change in the gap distance modifies the phase reflection coefficient associated with the open end, causing the resonance frequency of the coaxial cable resonator to change. By tracking the resonance frequency, the coaxial line resonator is effectively used as an inclinometer. The experimental results demonstrated that the novel device has a measurement resolution of 110 nrad over a range of 0–3 milliradians (mrad). Additionally, based on the same principle, a 2-D inclinometer based on two perpendicularly aligned OE-HCCRs, useful for simultaneous tilt measurements in two orthogonal dimensions is demonstrated. The aim of this paper is to propose two modified forward-backward splitting algorithms for zeros of the sum of a maximal monotone operator and a Bregman inverse strongly monotone operator in reflexive Banach spaces. We prove weak and strong convergence theorems of the generated sequences by the proposed methods under some suitable conditions. We apply our results to study the variational inequality problem and the equilibrium problem. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed methods. Background: There is insufficient evidence regarding the impact of dual trigger on oocyte maturity and reproductive outcomes in high responders. Thus, we aimed to explore the effect of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa) trigger alone or combined with different low-dose human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) regimens on rates of oocyte maturation and cumulative live birth in high responders who underwent a freeze-all strategy in GnRH antagonist cycles.Methods: A total of 1343 cycles were divided into three groups according to different trigger protocols: group A received GnRHa 0.2 mg (n = 577), group B received GnRHa 0.2 mg and hCG 1000 IU (n = 403), and group C received GnRHa 0.2 mg and hCG 2000 IU (n = 363).Results: There were no significant differences in age, body mass index, and rates of oocyte maturation, fertilization, available embryo, and top-quality embryo among the groups. However, the incidence of moderate to severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) was significantly different among the three groups (0% in group A, 1.49% in group B, and 1.38% in group C). For the first frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycle, there were no significant differences in the number of transferred embryos and rates of implantation, clinical pregnancy, live birth, and early miscarriage among the three groups. Additionally, the cumulative ongoing pregnancy rate and cumulative live birth rate were not significantly different among the three groups. Similarly, there were no significant differences in gestational age, birth weight, birth height, and the proportion of low birth weight among subgroups stratified by singleton or twin.Conclusions: GnRHa trigger combined with low-dose hCG (1000 IU or 2000 IU) did not improve oocyte maturity and embryo quality and was still associated with an increased risk of moderate to severe OHSS. Therefore, for high responders treated with the freeze-all strategy, the single GnRHa trigger is recommended for final oocyte maturation, which can prevent the occurrence of moderate to severe OHSS and obtain satisfactory pregnancy and neonatal outcomes in subsequent FET cycles. DExD/H-box helicases play critical roles in multiple cellular processes, including transcription, cellular RNA metabolism, translation, and infections. Several seminal studies over the past decades have delineated the distinct functions of DExD/H-box helicases in regulating antiviral innate immune signaling pathways, including Toll-like receptors, retinoic acid-inducible gene I-like receptors, cyclic GMP-AMP synthase-the stimulator of interferon gene, and NOD-like receptors signaling pathways. Besides the prominent regulatory roles, there is increasing attention on their functions as nucleic acid sensors involved in antiviral innate immunity. Here we summarize the complex regulatory roles of DExD/H-box helicases in antiviral innate immunity. Bovine mammary epithelial cells undergo an increase in metabolic rate, mitochondrial dysfunction, and oxidative stress after calving. Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NFE2L2), a master regulator of cellular redox homeostasis, plays crucial roles in the regulation of mitochondrial function. The objective of this study was to investigate the role of NFE2L2 on mitochondrial function in bovine mammary epithelial cells under hyperlipidemic conditions. Three experiments were conducted as follows: (1) the immortalized bovine mammary epithelial cell line MAC-T was treated with various concentrations of free fatty acids (FFA; 0, 0.6, 1.2, or 2.4 m M) for 24 h to induce stress; (2) MAC-T cells were transfected with small interfering RNA targeting NFE2L2 (si-NFE2L2) and scrambled nontarget negative control (si-Control) for 48 h; and (3) MAC-T cells were pretreated with 10 μ M sulforaphane (SFN), an activator of NFE2L2, for 24 h followed by treatment with 1.2 m M FFA for an additional 24 h. Results indicated that exogenous FFA challenge induced linear and quadratic increases in concentrations of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS). Compared with 0 m M FFA, mitochondrial membrane potential, mRNA abundance of oxidative phosphorylation complexes (CO I-V), protein abundance of nuclear respiratory factor 1 (NRF1), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator 1 α (PGC-1α), mitochondrial transcription factor A (TFAM), and NFE2L2 along with the contents of ATP, mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), and total mitochondria were greater in the MAC-T challenged with 0.6 m M FFA group, but lower in the 1.2 and 2.4 m M FFA cultures. Knockdown of NFE2L2 via small interfering RNA led to greater mitochondrial ROS content and lower mitochondrial membrane potential along with contents of ATP, mtDNA, and total mitochondria. The SFN pretreatment upregulated protein abundance of NFE2L2 and attenuated the downregulation of NFE2L2 induced by FFA. Pretreatment with SFN attenuated the downregulation induced by FFA of PGC-1α, NRF1, and TFAM protein abundance along with contents of mtDNA and total mitochondria. Furthermore, SFN pretreatment attenuated the upregulation of mitochondrial ROS content, the downregulation of mitochondrial membrane potential, and the decreases in ATP, mtDNA, and mitochondrial content induced by FFA. Overall, data indicated that FFA inhibit NFE2L2, resulting in mitochondrial dysfunction and ROS production in bovine mammary epithelial cells. Viral infections pose a severe threat to humans by causing many infectious, even fatal, diseases, such as the current pandemic disease (COVID-19) since 2019, and understanding how the host innate immune system recognizes viruses has become more important. Endosomal and cytosolic sensors can detect viral nucleic acids to induce type I interferon and proinflammatory cytokines, subsequently inducing interferon-stimulated genes for restricting viral infection. Although viral RNA and DNA sensing generally rely on diverse receptors and adaptors, the crosstalk between DNA and RNA sensing is gradually appreciated. This minireview highlights the overlap between the RNA- and DNA-sensing mechanisms in antiviral innate immunity, which significantly amplifies the antiviral innate responses to restrict viral infection and might be a potential novel target for preventing and treating viral diseases. Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the most prevalent histologic type of lung cancer, associated with a high incidence rate and substantial mortality rate worldwide. Accumulating evidence shows that the aberrant expression of neuromedin U (NMU) contributes to the initiation and progression of cancer. Herein, we explored whether NMU could be adopted as a new diagnostic and therapeutic marker in LUAD. The UALCAN and GEPIA web resources were employed to assess data on the NMU expression in LUAD. The STRING web resource was used to develop the PPI (protein-protein interaction) network of NMU, whereas Cytoscape was applied for module analysis. The Gene Ontology (GO) and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses of NMU and the interacting proteins were examined using the WebGestalt tool. Survival analysis was performed with the Kaplan-Meier plotter tool. Results revealed that the NMU expression in LUAD was significantly higher than in the nonmalignant tissues. Moreover, higher NMU levels were dramatically related to shorter overall survival, first progression survival, and postprogression survival. The specific gene mutations G45V, R143T, and F152L of NMU occurred in LUAD samples and were associated with a worse prognosis in patients. KEGG and western blot analyses demonstrated an association of NMU with the cell cycle and the cAMP signaling cascade. Facial expression recognition has become a newly-emerging topic in recent decades, which has important value in the field of human-computer interaction. In this paper, we present a deep learning based approach, named frequency neural network (FreNet), for facial expression recognition. Different from convolutional neural network in spatial domain, FreNet inherits the advantages of processing image in frequency domain, such as efficient computation and spatial redundancy elimination. First, we propose the learnable multiplication kernel and construct multiple multiplication layers to learn features in frequency domain. Second, a summarization layer is proposed following multiplication layers to further yield high-level features. Third, based on the property of discrete cosine transform (DCT), we utilize multiplication layers and summarization layer to construct the Basic-FreNet, which can yield high-level features on the widely used DCT feature. Finally, to further achieve better performance on Basic-FreNet, we propose the Block-FreNet in which the weight-shared multiplication kernel is designed for feature learning and the block sub-sampling is designed for dimension reduction. The experimental results show that the Block-FreNet not only achieves superior performance, but also greatly reduces the computational cost. Purpose: Circ-SHPRH is a circular RNA that can regulate the expression of target genes by sponging microRNAs (miRNAs) or translating tumor suppressor proteins. Recent studies have suggested that circ-SHPRH may play a role in the development of tumors and cancers. Hence, this paper aimed to review the biological characteristics, molecular mechanisms, and potential clinical significance of circ-SHPRH in a variety of tumors and to evaluate its potential as a new diagnostic and prognostic biomarker. Methods: Numerous experiments were performed regarding the abnormal expression of circ-SHPRH in a variety of tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, osteosarcoma, colorectal cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, retinoblastoma, and glioblastoma. Results: Upregulation of circ-SHPRH reportedly inhibits tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, leading to the inhibition of tumor development. The clinicopathological parameters and the functional characteristics of circ-SHPRH in multiple human tumors and cancers were summarized. For cloud storage service vendors, balancing the client-perceived IO performance and the self-perceived space cost is always one of the standing challenges. When applying deduplication techniques for the cloud storage systems, the demand for optimizing such tradeoff becomes more pressing. Enabling deduplication decreases the storage space cost, whereas the IO performance will be somewhat affected due to extra processing overhead and data fragmentation. In this article, we address this challenge by proposing MUSE, a MUti-tiered and SLA-drivEn deduplication framework for cloud storage systems. First, we propose a novel notation of Dedup-SLA (deduplication-oriented service level agreement). With different levels of quantified performance/space-cost combinations, the Dedup-SLA serves as a refined service quality protocol between service vendor and customer. Second, MUSE adopts multi-tiered deduplication that orchestrates several combinational forms of deduplication into multiple tiers with varied “deduplication strength”. Third, we implement a mechanism called dynamic deduplication regulation (DDR) to adjust the deduplication behavior during runtime. MUSE’s deduplication behavior is periodically switched between tiers according to the predefined Dedup-SLA and instant system status. We conduct comprehensive experiments to compare MUSE with several other types of deduplication schemes. The results demonstrate that MUSE significantly optimizes the IO-performance/space-cost balance compared to other schemes, hence delivering higher deduplication service quality for deduplication-enabled cloud storage systems. Background: Some studies have stated that intrauterine insemination (IUI) with controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) might increase the pregnancy rate, while others suggest that IUI in the natural cycle (NC) should be the first line of treatment. It remains unclear whether it is necessary to use COS at the same time when IUI is applied to treat isolated male factor infertility. Thus, we aimed to investigate efficacy of IUI with COS for isolated male factor infertility. Methods: A total of 601 IUI cycles from 307 couples who sought medical care for isolated male factor infertility between January 2010 and February 2020 were divided into two groups: NC-IUI and COS-IUI. The COS-IUI group was further divided into two subgroups according to the number of pre-ovulatory follicles on the day of HCG: cycles with monofollicular development (one follicle group) and cycles with at least two pre-ovulatory follicles (≥ 2 follicles group). The IUI outcomes, including clinical pregnancy, live birth, spontaneous abortion, ectopic pregnancy, and multiple pregnancy rates were compared. Results: The clinical pregnancy, live birth, spontaneous abortion, and ectopic pregnancy rates were comparable between the NC-IUI and COS-IUI group. Similar results were also observed among the NC-IUI, one follicle, and ≥ 2 follicles groups. However, with respect to the multiple pregnancy rate, a trend toward higher multiple pregnancy rate was observed in the COS-IUI group compared to the NC-IUI group (8.7% vs. 0, P = 0.091), and a significant difference was found between the NC-IUI and ≥ 2 follicles group (0 vs. 16.7%, P = 0.033). Conclusion: In COS cycles, especially in those with at least two pre-ovulatory follicles, the multiple pregnancy rate increased without a substantial gain in overall pregnancy rate; thus, COS should not be preferred in IUI for isolated male factor infertility. Membrane-associated RING-CH (MARCH) ubiquitin ligases belong to a RING finger domain E3 ligases family. Recent studies have demonstrated that MARCH proteins play critical roles during various viral infections. MARCH proteins can directly antagonize different steps of the viral life cycle and promote individual viral infection. The limited visible light response range and fast recombination rate of photoinduced carriers restrict the photocatalytic performance of Bi 2 WO 6. Herein, a novel low temperature hydrothermal approach was developed to construct the Bi 2 WO 6 /Bi 2 O 4 heterojunction with WO 3 and NaBiO 3 •2 H 2 O powders as precursors and the latter as the only bismuth source. During the hydrothermal reaction, WO 3 first reacts with NaBiO 3 · 2 H 2 O to generate Bi 2 WO 6 and then the residual NaBiO 3 ·2 H 2 O converts into Bi 2 O 4 , in-situ forming the Bi 2 WO 6 /Bi 2 O 4 heterojunction with the co-shared Bi atoms. The content of Bi 2 WO 6 in the heterostructure can be facilely modulated by changing the amount of WO 3 added. The construction of Bi 2 WO 6 /Bi 2 O 4 heterojunction could not only extend the spectral response range but also improve the separation efficiency of photoinduced charges. Consequently, the photocatalytic degradation performance to tetracycline (phenol) for the optimal Bi 2 WO 6 /Bi 2 O 4 heterostructure is 5.19 and 1.77 times (4.75 and 1.66 times) higher than that of single Bi 2 WO 6 and Bi 2 O 4 under visible light, respectively. The capture experiments of active species and electron spin resonance spectra demonstrate that radicals (·O 2 -) and holes (h +) are the first and second important active species, respectively, during the catalytic degradation. Ketosis is a serious metabolic disorder characterized by systemic and hepatic oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis, as well as reduced milk yield. Because of the paucity of data on mammary responses during ketosis, the aim of this study was to evaluate alterations in oxidative stress, NF-κB signaling, NLRP3 inflammasome, and caspase apoptotic pathways in mammary gland of dairy cows with ketosis. Blood, mammary gland tissue, and milk samples were collected from healthy cows [Control, blood concentration of β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) <0.6 m M , n = 10] and cows with subclinical ketosis (SCK, blood concentration of BHB >1.2 m M and <3 m M , n = 10) or clinical ketosis (CK, blood concentration of BHB >3 m M , n = 10) at median 8 d in milk (range = 6–12). Compared with Control, serum concentration of glucose was lower (3.91 vs. 2.86 or 2.12 m M) in cows with SCK or CK, whereas concentrations of fatty acids (0.25 vs. 0.57 or 1.09 m M) and BHB (0.42 vs. 1.81 or 3.85 m M) were greater. Compared with Control, the percentage of milk fat was greater in cows with SCK or CK. In contrast, the percentage of milk protein was lower in cows with SCK or CK. We detected no differences in milk lactose content across groups. Compared with Control, activities of glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, and catalase were lower in mammary gland tissue of cows with SCK or CK. In contrast, concentrations of hydrogen peroxide and malondialdehyde were greater in cows with SCK or CK. Compared with Control, mRNA abundances of TNFA , IL6 , and IL1B were greater in mammary tissues of cows with SCK or CK. In addition, activity of IKKβ and the ratio of phosphorylated inhibitor of κBα to IκBα, and of phosphorylated NF-κB p65 to NF-κB p65, were also greater in mammary tissues of cows with SCK or CK. Subclinical or clinical ketosis also led to greater activity of caspase 1 and protein abundance of caspase 1, NLRP3, Bax, caspase 3, and caspase 9. In contrast, abundance of the antiapoptotic protein was lower in SCK or CK cows. This study presented 96 cox1 and 76 cox3 genes of Amphioctopus neglectus populations. Three distinct lineages were formed from phylogenetic trees and networks constructed using haplotypes. Mitogenomes of A. neglectus -a and A. neglectus -b as the representatives of two lineages separated from population genetics were sequenced to compare with A. neglectus at the genome-level. Amphioctopus neglectus -a showed significant differences with A. neglectus , mainly reflected in gene length, intergenic regions and the secondary structure of tandem repeat motifs. Notably, two sequence deletions in mitogenomes of the two representative species were detected in different positions of major non-coding regions, which were the most distinct differences with A. neglectus. Pairwise genetic distances and the phylogenetic analysis supported the relationship of (A. neglectus -a + (A. neglectus + A. neglectus -b)). This study suggested that A. neglectus -a should be considered as a potential cryptic species of this complex, while A. neglectus -b needed further verification to be defined. • The cryptic biodiversity was detected in Amphioctopus neglectus. • Mitogenome of A. neglectus was compared with the representatives of two lineages separated from the complex. • The significant divergences were found in major non-coding regions in three mitogenomes. • Amphioctopus neglectus -a was considered as a potential cryptic species of this complex. Apoptosis is a critical host antiviral defense mechanism. But many viruses have evolved multiple strategies to manipulate apoptosis and escape host antiviral immune responses. Herpesvirus infection regulated apoptosis; however, the underlying molecular mechanisms have not yet been fully elucidated. Hence, the present study aimed to study the relationship between herpesvirus infection and apoptosis in vitro and in vivo using the pseudorabies virus (PRV) as the model virus. We found that mitochondria-dependent apoptosis was induced by PRV gM, a late protein encoded by PRV UL10, a virulence-related gene involved in enhancing PRV pathogenicity. Mechanistically, gM competitively combines with BCL-XL to disrupt the BCL-XL-BAK complex, resulting in BCL-2-antagonistic killer (BAK) oligomerization and BCL-2-associated X (BAX) activation, which destroys the mitochondrial membrane potential and activates caspase-3/7 to trigger apoptosis. Interestingly, similar apoptotic mechanisms were observed in other herpesviruses (Herpes Simplex Virus-1 [HSV-1], human cytomegalovirus [HCMV], Equine herpesvirus-1 [EHV-1], and varicella-zoster virus [VZV]) driven by PRV gM homologs. Compared with their parental viruses, the pathogenicity of PRV-ΔUL10 or HSV-1-ΔUL10 in mice was reduced with lower apoptosis and viral replication, illustrating that UL10 is a key virulence-related gene in PRV and HSV-1. Consistently, caspase-3 deletion also diminished the replication and pathogenicity of PRV and HSV-1 in vitro and in mice, suggesting that caspase-3-mediated apoptosis is closely related to the replication and pathogenicity of PRV and HSV-1. Overall, our findings firstly reveal the mechanism by which PRV gM and its homologs in several herpesviruses regulate apoptosis to enhance the viral replication and pathogenicity, and the relationship between gM-mediated apoptosis and herpesvirus pathogenicity suggests a promising approach for developing attenuated live vaccines and therapy for herpesvirus-related diseases. Author summary: Apoptosis plays a crucial role in eliminating virus-infected cells and maintaining tissue homeostasis. Herpesviruses have evolved numerous strategies for manipulating apoptosis. However, the molecular mechanisms by which herpesvirus infection induces apoptosis are not fully unclear. In this study, PRV was used as a model virus to elucidate the relationship between herpesvirus infection and apoptosis. We reported that PRV gM induced mitochondria-dependent apoptosis by competitively binding to the anti-apoptosis protein BCL-XL and activating the apoptosis effectors caspase-3/7/9 to enhance the viral replication and pathogenicity in vitro and in mice. Importantly, we found that the PRV gM homologs of herpesviruses (HSV-1, HCMV, EHV-1, and VZV) shared the same mechanism to promote apoptosis. Additionally, the reduced pathogenicity of PRV and HSV-1 in caspase-3+/- mice suggested that caspase-3-mediated apoptosis driven by gM protein was a key regulator to the replication and pathogenicity of PRV and HSV-1. Our study firstly reveals the molecular mechanism by which PRV gM and its homologs in several herpesviruses regulate apoptosis to enhance the viral replication and pathogenicity. These findings provide novel insights for developing new vaccine candidates and antiviral drugs. Although carbonatite-alkaline complexes are the primary source of the world's niobium (Nb) supply, the mineralization style is largely variable in these complexes and the processes behind their formation are still poorly understood. Exemplifying with our new observations on the ~430 Ma Miaoya and Shaxiongdong carbonatite-syenite complexes in the southern Qinling orogenic belt, central China, show that disseminated Nb mineralization in these two deposits is pervasive throughout the entire complexes in both syenite and carbonatite. Both magmatic and hydrothermal processes have contributed to Nb mineralization in both deposits, despite differences in the mineralization style. The Nb-bearing minerals in the mineralized Miaoya syenites include magmatic U-poor pyrochlore, rutile, and ilmenite with minor amounts of columbite, and hydrothermal columbite and rutile, whereas those in the mineralized carbonatites are mainly magmatic U-poor pyrochlore, uranpyrochlore, U-rich betafite, and rutile with minor amounts of columbite, and hydrothermal columbite and rutile. On the other hand, the Nb-bearing minerals in the mineralized Shaxiongdong syenites include magmatic U-poor pyrochlore, titanite, rutile, and ilmenite, and hydrothermal fersmite, rutile, and ilmenite, whereas those in the mineralized carbonatites are mainly magmatic U-poor pyrochlore without any hydrothermal Nb-bearing minerals. Field observations, whole-rock chemical and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions strongly constrained that assimilation of U-rich rocks (e.g., the hosting Yaolinghe and Meiziya Groups) and magma differentiation are responsible for diverse magmatic Nb mineralization in the two deposits. On the other hand, the diverse assemblages of hydrothermal Nb minerals in Miaoya and Shaxiongdong are mainly controlled by variations in the nature of the fluids, which is constrained to be genetically related to ~220 and ~420 Ma hydrothermal events, respectively. In summary, both magma evolution (e.g., differentiation, assimilation) and late hydrothermal overprinting are responsible for the diverse Nb mineralogy in carbonatite-alkaline complexes, a situation that is commonly observed worldwide. The aim of present study was to evaluate the potential effects of Rhodiola crenulata oral liquid (RCOL) on exhaustive exercise (EE)-induced fatigue in mice. Male Institute of Cancer Research mice from five treatment groups (n=10 per group) were orally administered with sterilized water for the Control and EE groups and/or RCOL at doses of 1.02, 3.03 and 6.06 ml/kg/day, once daily for 2 weeks. Anti-fatigue activity was subsequently evaluated by measuring the levels of creatine kinase (CK), lactic acid (LA), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and total anti-oxidative capability (T-AOC). Histopathology was assessed using hematoxylin and eosin staining. Ultrastructures of mitochondria were observed by transmission electron microscopy. Energy supply capacity was assessed using citrate synthase (CS), succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), Na+-K+-ATPase, and liver and quadriceps glycogen content assays. Expression levels of mRNA and protein associated with mitophagy in the skeletal muscle were measured by reverse transcription-quantitative PCR and western blotting, respectively. RCOL was observed to markedly inhibit fatigue-induced oxidative stress by increasing the activities of SOD, CAT and T-AOC, whilst reducing the accumulation of LA, CK, LDH and MDA. Histological analysis of the quadriceps femoris tissue suggested increased numbers of muscle fibers in the RCOL groups compared with those in the EE group. RCOL administration was found to reverse EE-induced mitochondrial structural damage and alleviated defects inflicted onto the energy supply mechanism by increasing CS, SDH, Na+-K+-ATPase and glycogen levels. Additionally, RCOL reduced the protein expression of PTEN-induced kinase 1 (PINK1), Parkin, microtubule-associated proteins 1A/1B light chain 3, sequestosome 1 and ubiquitin, whilst lowering the gene expression of PINK1 and Parkin. Taken together, results from the present study clarified the anti-fatigue effect of RCOL, where the underlying mechanism may be associated with increased antioxidant activity, enhanced energy production and the inhibition of mitophagy by suppressing the PINK1/Parkin signaling pathway. Aging is characterized by a progressive deterioration in metabolic functions. The present study aimed to investigate the antagonistic effects of ginsenoside Rg1 (Rg1) on the γ-ray irradiation-induced aging of mixed hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs). C57BL/6 mice were divided into a control group, a γ-ray irradiation group that served as an aging mouse model, and an Rg1 group. The Rg1 group was treated with Rg1 at dosage of 20 mg/kg/day for 7 days prior to γ-ray irradiation. The aging mouse model was established by exposing the mice to 6.5-Gy γ-ray total-body irradiation. Stem cell antigen 1 positive (Sca-1+) HSC/HPCs isolated from the mice were examined using a senescence-associated β-galactosidase (SA-β-Gal) staining assay. The cell cycle of the HSC/HPCs was examined using flow cytometry. A mixed hematopoietic progenitor cell colony-forming unit (CFU-mix) assay was also conducted. The mRNA and protein expression levels of sirtuin 1 (SIRT1), SIRT3, forkhead box O3 (FOXO3) and superoxide dismutase (SOD2) were evaluated using western blot and reverse transcription-quantitative PCR assays. The results indicated that Rg1 treatment significantly increased white blood cell, red blood cell and platelet counts in peripheral blood compared with those in the γ-ray irradiation group (P<0.05). However, Rg1 significantly attenuated the senescence of Sca-1+ HSC/HPCs in the γ-ray irradiation aging mice model. The proportion of SA-β-Gal stained HSC/HPCs was significantly decreased and CFU-Mix counts were significantly increased in the Rg1 group compared with the γ-ray irradiation group (P<0.05). Rg1 significantly increased the mRNA and protein levels of SIRT1, SIRT3, FOXO3 and SOD2 in the Sca-1+ HSC/HPCs compared with those in the γ-ray irradiation group (P<0.05). The percentage of Sca-1+ HSC/HPCs arrested at the G1 phase in the Rg1 group was significantly decreased compared with that in the γ-ray irradiation group (P<0.05). In conclusion, the present study indicates that Rg1 exerts anti-aging effects via the regulation of SIRT1-FOXO3 and SIRT3-SOD2 signaling pathways, and triggering the progression of Sca-1+ HSC/HPCs from the G1 phase to the S phase in γ-ray irradiation-induced aging mice. This paper first analyzes the storage mechanism and data structure of the hierarchical network model, then fits the time series of user behavior attribute data, and uses the information-filtering algorithm to filter the interference information and redundant information in the social network. The feature extraction of association rules applies fuzzy data clustering to the mining and clustering of relational data in hierarchical networks. Background: The association between natural killer (NK) cells and survival in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients remains controversial. This study aimed to clarify the prognostic value of peripheral blood NK cells in CRC patients.Methods: A total of 447 CRC patients who underwent radical surgery and chemotherapy were retrospectively analyzed. Cox regression analyses were used to identify independent prognostic indicators. Correlation between NK cell percentage and other clinicopathological features (gender, age, histological grade, tumor stage, immune cells, and inflammatory indicators) was analyzed. The prognostic values of the combinations of NK cell percentage and other clinicopathological features were also determined.Results: Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that NK cell percentage in the peripheral blood was an independent prognostic indicator in CRC patients. A higher percentage of NK cells indicated a longer survival time than a lower percentage. NK cell percentage was positively correlated to the T and B lymphocyte counts and negatively correlated to the patients' age and albumin levels. With an area of 0.741 under a receiver operating characteristic curve, NK cells have a moderate predictive value for 3rd-year survival in CRC. This area increased to 0.851 by combining NK cell percentage with the B lymphocyte count. Elderly patients and those at an advanced clinical stage presented a lower percentage of NK cells than younger patients and those at an early clinical stage.Conclusions: This study demonstrated that NK cells in the blood were an independent predictor of survival in CRC patients, and the combined count of NK cells and B lymphocytes could increase the prognostic value. Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is associated with a number of cellular defects such as hyperproliferation, apoptosis, and dedifferentiation. Mutations in polycystin-1 (PC1) account for ∼85% of ADPKD. Here, we showed that wild-type (WT) or mutant PC1 composed of the last five transmembrane (TM) domains and the C-terminus (termed PC1-5TMC) inhibits cell proliferation and protein translation, as well as the downstream effectors of mTOR, consistent with previous reports. Knockdown of B56α, a subunit of the protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) complex, or application of PP2A inhibitor okadaic acid or calyculin A, abolished the inhibitory effect of PC1 and PC1-5TMC on proliferation, indicating that PP2A/B56α mediates the regulation of cell proliferation by PC1. In addition to the phosphorylated S6 and 4EBP1, B56α was also downregulated by PC1 and PC1-5TMC. Furthermore, the downregulation of B56α, which may be mediated by mTOR but not AKT, can account for the dependence of PC1-inhibited proliferation on PP2A. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Mine dust is one of the most serious environmental hazards in the coal mining process. This paper introduces a numerical simulation of a novel foam generator used for dust control in coal mines. The amount of foam generated by this device significantly depends on the amount of air entrainment. Therefore, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method was used to study three influencing factors, namely, throat-nozzle distance, mixing throat length, and the contraction angle of the suction chamber. The predicted values by the CFD simulation proved to be in good agreement with the experimental data. The results revealed that the air entrainment reached its maximum when the ratio of throat-nozzle distance to mixing throat length was 2/3. The optimum values of the throat ratio (its length to diameter) and the contraction angle of the suction chamber were obtained at 20 and 5°, respectively. This research provides essential guidance in the geometric parameter design of the self-suction type foam generator, which has the advantage of negating the need for compressed-air pipelines and having high reliability, compared to traditional foam generators. Gynecological cancers are a leading cause of mortality for women, including ovarian cancer (OC), cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CESC), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC). Nevertheless, these gynecological cancer types have not elucidated the role of cuproptosis and the correlated tumor microenvironment (TME) infiltration features. CRGs had important potential molecular functions and prognostic significance in gynecological cancers, especially in UCEC. Hub CRG, FDX1, was correlated with the CD8+ T cell immune infiltration in UCEC and CESC. FDX1 OE could significantly repress the proliferation ability in UCEC cells by MTT, EdU, and clone formation. High levels of FDX1 could repress ATP and lactic acid but enhance ROS and glucose levels by metabolism assay. The xenograft tumor model indicated that FDX1 OE significantly inhibited the growth of UCEC and attenuated the PCNA, HK2, PKM2, and Ki-67 expression. These CRGs are significant roles that could be potential markers and treatment targets to optimize the TME immune cell infiltration features for gynecological cancer types.
