The motivation of the paper is to find out the influence of demographic characteristic factors on employees’ career promotion in China’s state-owned enterprises and study the relationship between promotion mechanism and enterprise benefits. More than 6,500 pieces of human resource data from China’s state-owned enterprises were studied. Logistic regression is adopted to analyze the correlation between demographic characteristics and promotion. Meanwhile, different data mining methods are used to summarize the characteristics of promotion. On this basis, this study uses the principal-agent model of game theory to analyze the profits of employees and enterprises under different promotion mechanisms and demonstrates the conditions for enterprises to obtain the maximum benefit from the employees’ promotion. The results provide a theoretical reference for the assessment indicator selection of enterprise promotion and help executives better understand the impact of promotion mechanism on enterprises and employees. The application of results can reduce the information asymmetry in promotion incentive, prevent the emergence of adverse selection, and achieve a win-win situation for enterprises and employees.

The telecommunications industry has been undergoing tremendous technological changes, and owning to continuous technological advancement, it has maintained sustained prosperity and development. In this paper, the interplay between technology, market and government in telecommunications is discussed briefly, and then we introduce technology and government into the traditional SCP (Structure — Conduct — Performance) paradigm to develop an industry analysis framework called TG-M(SCP) (Technology — Government — Market (Structure — Conduct — Performance)). Based on this framework, we present the spiral co-evolution model which elaborates on the interaction mechanism of technological innovation with government regulation and market dynamics from the perspective of industry evolution. Our study indicates that the development of the telecommunications industry is the result of the coevolution of technology, government regulation and market forces, and among the three actors, technology is the fundamental driving force. Relative to the "invisible hand" (market) and "visible hand" (government), we conceptualize technology as the "third hand", which fundamentally drives the development of telecommunications industry in coordination with the other two hands. We also provide several policy implications regarding these findings.

Along with the continuous development of wireless communication technology and popularization of multi- mode terminal, the seamless fusion of various heterogeneous wireless networks has gradually become the trend of net- work development. The diversified forms of network access enable the multi-mode terminal to dynamically select the ac- cess network with the highest utility value to obtain network service according to specific standard. The study selects a typical heterogeneous network scenario, abstracts users' network selection process to be group game model, adopts the evolutionary methods, and then studies user's network selection process through replicator dynamics. On the basis of it, it puts forwards a kind of network selection algorithm in the view of replicator dynamics and verifies its algorithm perfor- mance through simulation results, and then analyzes the impact of different factors on evolutionary equilibrium in detail.

Time series is a very popular type of data which exists in many domains. Clustering time series data has a wide range of applications and has attracted researchers from a wide range of discipline. In this paper a novel algorithm for shape based time series clustering is proposed. It can reduce the size of data, improve the efficiency and not reduce the effects by using the principle of complex network. Firstly, one-nearest neighbor network is built based on the similarity of time series objects. In this step, triangle distance is used to measure the similarity. Of the neighbor network each node represents one time series object and each link denotes neighbor relationship between nodes. Secondly, the nodes with high degrees are chosen and used to cluster. In clustering process, dynamic time warping distance function and hierarchical clustering algorithm are applied. Thirdly, some experiments are executed on synthetic and real data. The results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance on efficiency and effectiveness.

In recent years, countries all over the world consider the future internet as the country’s strategic development directions, so projects about future internet have been launched by these countries. Load balancing algorithms and job allocations are main research problems in areas of resource management of future internet. In this paper, we introduce a load balancing model for future internet. We formulate the static load balancing problem in the model proposed above as noncooperative game among users and cooperative game among processors. Based on this model, we derive a load balancing algorithm for computing center. Finally, we execute the algorithm presented in this paper with another three algorithms for comparison purpose. The advantages of our algorithm are better scalability to the model, improving system performance, and low cost on maintaining system information.

Now, the telecom service providers are faced with significant challenges as the traditional separated network and service become converged. Customers move to care more about the quality of service, such as the provision time, fault disposal, bill management, and security issues, other than networks. The carriers must integrate their core legacy mainframe operation support systems (OSS) with new generation components that can handle the requirements posed by new service offerings, which means the NG-OSS should pay attention to customers rather than networks. This paper examines the legacy OSS frame with its main component and analysis which part should be weakened or converged, and which part should be enhanced or updated. Then it suggests a more idealized view of a functional OSS architecture that conforms to the concepts of the TeleManagement Forum’s Telecom Operations Map (TOM) model. In the last, it discusses how to evolve the OSS from the network-focused to customers-focused successfully and smoothly.

The rapid development of mobile commerce (m-commerce) has profound influence on logistics industry. Firstly, through analysis that combines m-commerce and the logistics industry, the paper draws a conclusion that main m-commerce applications in logistics industry include cargo tracking, mobile inventory management, vehicle positioning and M2M (machine to machine) mobile services. Then, we think traditional logistics has entered the stage of electronic commerce logistics and is turning into the stage of m-commerce logistics gradually after analyzing relation between m-commerce and logistics. As m-commerce logistics differs from traditional logistics, there is unique operation process of m-commerce in logistics industry. Finally, from the perspective of value chain, the paper points out that there are three mobile commerce models including B2E (business to employee), B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to customer).

Mobile commerce (MC) refers to e-commerce activities carried out using a mobile device such as a phone or PDA. With new technology, MC will be rapidly growing in the near future. At the present time, what factors making consumer accept MC and what MC applications are acceptable by consumers are two of hot issues both for MC providers and f or MC researchers. This study presents a proposed MC acceptance model that integrates perceived playfulness, perceived risk and cost into the TAM to study which factors affect consumer MC acceptance. The proposed model includes five variables, namely perceived risk, cost, perceived usefulness, perceived playfulness, perceived ease of use, perceived playfulness. Then, using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to calculate weight of criteria involved in proposed model. Finally, the study utilizes fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate MC applications accepted possibility, and then a MC application is empirically tested using data collected from a survey of MC consumers.
