Predicting influencers' views and public sentiment on social media is crucial for anticipating societal trends and guiding strategic responses. This study introduces a novel computational framework to predict opinion leaders' perspectives and the emotive reactions of the populace, addressing the inherent challenges posed by the unstructured, context-sensitive, and heterogeneous nature of online communication. Our research introduces an innovative module that starts with the automatic 5W1H (Where, Who, When, What, Why, and How) questions formulation engine, tailored to emerging news stories and trending topics. We then build a total of 60 anonymous opinion leader agents in six domains and realize the views generation based on an enhanced large language model (LLM) coupled with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Subsequently, we synthesize the potential views of opinion leaders and predicted the emotional responses to different events. The efficacy of our automated 5W1H module is corroborated by an average GPT-4 score of 8.83/10, indicative of high fidelity. The influencer agents exhibit a consistent performance, achieving an average GPT-4 rating of 6.85/10 across evaluative metrics. The linewidth of antiferromagnetic resonance (AFMR) is found to be significantly broader than that of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR), even when the intrinsic Gilbert damping parameter is the same for both systems. We investigate the origin of this enhanced damping rate in AFMR by studying a bipartite magnet model. Through analytical calculations and numerical simulations, we present three perspectives on understanding this linewidth broadening in AFMR: i) The non-dissipative Heisenberg exchange interaction develops a damping-like component in the presence of Gilbert damping, ii) The transverse component of the exchange coupling reduces the AFMR frequency, thereby increasing the damping rate, and iii) The antiferromagnetic eigenmode exhibits characteristics of a two-mode squeezed state, which is inherently linked to an enhanced damping rate. Our findings provide a comprehensive understanding of the complex dynamics governing magnetic dissipation in antiferromagnet and offer insights into the experimentally observed broadened linewidths in AFMR spectra., Comment: 6 pages, 2 figures

The traditional GNSS-aided inertial navigation system (INS) usually exploits the extended Kalman filter (EKF) for state estimation, and the initial attitude accuracy is key to the filtering performance. To spare the reliance on the initial attitude, this work generalizes the previously proposed trident quaternion within the framework of Clifford algebra to represent the extended pose, IMU biases and lever arms on the Lie group. Consequently, a quasi-group-affine system is established for the low-cost INS/GNSS integrated navigation system, and the right-error Clifford algebra-based EKF (Clifford-RQEKF) is accordingly developed. The iterated filtering approach is further applied to significantly improve the performances of the Clifford-RQEKF and the previously proposed trident quaternion-based EKFs. Numerical simulations and experiments show that all iterated filtering approaches fulfill the fast and global convergence without the prior attitude information, whereas the iterated Clifford-RQEKF performs much better than the others under especially large IMU biases.

The purpose of this paper is to extend the BML method proposed in Wang et al. [21] to make it applicable to more general coupled nonlinear FBSDEs. Compared to traditional methods, the extended BML method retains the advantage of being able to solve high-dimensional problems. In addition, this paper provides a theoretical interpretation of the proposed method. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method is validated through numerical experiments.

Partially spoofed audio detection is a challenging task, lying in the need to accurately locate the authenticity of audio at the frame level. To address this issue, we propose a fine-grained partially spoofed audio detection method, namely Temporal Deepfake Location (TDL), which can effectively capture information of both features and locations. Specifically, our approach involves two novel parts: embedding similarity module and temporal convolution operation. To enhance the identification between the real and fake features, the embedding similarity module is designed to generate an embedding space that can separate the real frames from fake frames. To effectively concentrate on the position information, temporal convolution operation is proposed to calculate the frame-specific similarities among neighboring frames, and dynamically select informative neighbors to convolution. Extensive experiments show that our method outperform baseline models in ASVspoof2019 Partial Spoof dataset and demonstrate superior performance even in the crossdataset scenario.

This paper aims to build a probabilistic framework for Howard's policy iteration algorithm using the language of forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs). As opposed to conventional formulations based on partial differential equations, our FBSDE-based formulation can be easily implemented by optimizing criteria over sample data, and is therefore less sensitive to the state dimension. In particular, both on-policy and off-policy evaluation methods are discussed by constructing different FBSDEs. The backward-measurability-loss (BML) criterion is then proposed for solving these equations. By choosing specific weight functions in the proposed criterion, we can recover the popular Deep BSDE method or the martingale approach for BSDEs. The convergence results are established under both ideal and practical conditions, depending on whether the optimization criteria are decreased to zero. In the ideal case, we prove that the policy sequences produced by proposed FBSDE-based algorithms and the standard policy iteration have the same performance, and thus have the same convergence rate. Experimentally resolving atomic-scale structural changes of a deformed glass remains challenging owing to the disordered nature of glass structure. Here, we show that the structural anisotropy emerges as a general hallmark for different types of glasses (metallic glasses, oxide glass, amorphous selenium, and polymer glass) after thermo-mechanical deformation, and it is highly correlates with local nonaffine atomic displacements detected by the high-energy X-ray diffraction technique. By analyzing the anisotropic pair density function, we unveil the atomic-level mechanism responsible for the plastic flow, which notably differs between metallic glasses and covalent glasses. The structural rearrangements in metallic glasses are mediated through cutting and formation of atomic bonds, which occurs in some localized inelastic regions embedded in elastic matrix, whereas that of covalent glasses is mediated through the rotation of atomic bonds or chains without bond length change, which occurs in a less localized manner., Comment: 19 pages, 4 figures

In this paper, we propose a novel prosody disentangle method for prosodic Text-to-Speech (TTS) model, which introduces the vector quantization (VQ) method to the auxiliary prosody encoder to obtain the decomposed prosody representations in an unsupervised manner. Rely on its advantages, the speaking styles, such as pitch, speaking velocity, local pitch variance, etc., are decomposed automatically into the latent quantize vectors. We also investigate the internal mechanism of VQ disentangle process by means of a latent variables counter and find that higher value dimensions usually represent prosody information. Experiments show that our model can control the speaking styles of synthesis results by directly manipulating the latent variables. Due to the high computational complexity to model more frequency bands, it is still intractable to conduct real-time full-band speech enhancement based on deep neural networks. Recent studies typically utilize the compressed perceptually motivated features with relatively low frequency resolution to filter the full-band spectrum by one-stage networks, leading to limited speech quality improvements. In this paper, we propose a coordinated sub-band fusion network for full-band speech enhancement, which aims to recover the low- (0-8 kHz), middle- (8-16 kHz), and high-band (16-24 kHz) in a step-wise manner. Specifically, a dual-stream network is first pretrained to recover the low-band complex spectrum, and another two sub-networks are designed as the middle- and high-band noise suppressors in the magnitude-only domain. To fully capitalize on the information intercommunication, we employ a sub-band interaction module to provide external knowledge guidance across different frequency bands. The decoupling-style concept begins to ignite in the speech enhancement area, which decouples the original complex spectrum estimation task into multiple easier sub-tasks i.e., magnitude-only recovery and the residual complex spectrum estimation)}, resulting in better performance and easier interpretability. In this paper, we propose a dual-branch federative magnitude and phase estimation framework, dubbed DBT-Net, for monaural speech enhancement, aiming at recovering the coarse- and fine-grained regions of the overall spectrum in parallel. From the complementary perspective, the magnitude estimation branch is designed to filter out dominant noise components in the magnitude domain, while the complex spectrum purification branch is elaborately designed to inpaint the missing spectral details and implicitly estimate the phase information in the complex-valued spectral domain. To facilitate the information flow between each branch, interaction modules are introduced to leverage features learned from one branch, so as to suppress the undesired parts and recover the missing components of the other branch. Instead of adopting the conventional RNNs and temporal convolutional networks for sequence modeling, we employ a novel attention-in-attention transformer-based network within each branch for better feature learning. More specially, it is composed of several adaptive spectro-temporal attention transformer-based modules and an adaptive hierarchical attention module, aiming to capture long-term time-frequency dependencies and further aggregate intermediate hierarchical contextual information. Comprehensive evaluations on the WSJ0-SI84 + DNS-Challenge and VoiceBank + DEMAND dataset demonstrate that the proposed approach consistently outperforms previous advanced systems and yields state-of-the-art performance in terms of speech quality and intelligibility., Comment: 15 pages;Accepted by IEEE/ACM Trans. A modified Deep BSDE (backward differential equation) learning method with measurability loss, called Deep BSDE-ML method, is introduced in this paper to solve a kind of linear decoupled forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs), which is encountered in the policy evaluation of learning the optimal feedback policies of a class of stochastic control problems. The measurability loss is characterized via the measurability of BSDE's state at the forward initial time, which differs from that related to terminal state of the known Deep BSDE method. Though the minima of the two loss functions are shown to be equal, this measurability loss is proved to be equal to the expected mean squared error between the true diffusion term of BSDE and its approximation. This crucial observation extends the application of the Deep BSDE method -- approximating the gradients of the solution of a partial differential equation (PDE) instead of the solution itself. Simultaneously, a learning-based framework is introduced to search an optimal feedback control of a deterministic nonlinear system. Specifically, by introducing Gaussian exploration noise, we are aiming to learn a robust optimal controller under this stochastic case. This reformulation sacrifices the optimality to some extent, but as suggested in reinforcement learning (RL) exploration noise is essential to enable the model-free learning.

The antiferromagnet is a closed Hermitian system, we find that its excitations, even in the absence of dissipation, can be viewed as a non-Hermitian system with dissipative coupling. Consequently, the antiferromagnetic resonance spectrum does not show the typical level repulsion, but shows the level attraction -- a characteristic behavior often observed in non-Hermitian systems. Such behavior is because the antiferromagnetic ground state is $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric. This new understanding on antiferromagnetic resonance also explains the mysterious enhancement of antiferromagnetic damping rate. Being effectively non-Hermitian, antiferromagnetic magnons can be used for quantum entanglement generation without introducing a third party like external pumping.

Curriculum learning begins to thrive in the speech enhancement area, which decouples the original spectrum estimation task into multiple easier sub-tasks to achieve better performance. Motivated by that, we propose a dual-branch attention-in-attention transformer dubbed DB-AIAT to handle both coarse- and fine-grained regions of the spectrum in parallel. From a complementary perspective, a magnitude masking branch is proposed to coarsely estimate the overall magnitude spectrum, and simultaneously a complex refining branch is elaborately designed to compensate for the missing spectral details and implicitly derive phase information. Within each branch, we propose a novel attention-in-attention transformer-based module to replace the conventional RNNs and temporal convolutional networks for temporal sequence modeling. Specifically, the proposed attention-in-attention transformer consists of adaptive temporal-frequency attention transformer blocks and an adaptive hierarchical attention module, aiming to capture long-term temporal-frequency dependencies and further aggregate global hierarchical contextual information. Experimental results on Voice Bank + DEMAND demonstrate that DB-AIAT yields state-of-the-art performance (e.g., 3.31 PESQ, 95.6% STOI and 10.79dB SSNR) over previous advanced systems with a relatively small model size (2.81M)., Comment: Accepted by ICASSP 2022

For the lack of adequate paired noisy-clean speech corpus in many real scenarios, non-parallel training is a promising task for DNN-based speech enhancement methods. However, because of the severe mismatch between input and target speeches, many previous studies only focus on the magnitude spectrum estimation and remain the phase unaltered, resulting in the degraded speech quality under low signal-to-noise ratio conditions. To tackle this problem, we decouple the difficult target w.r.t. original spectrum optimization into spectral magnitude and phase, and a novel Cycle-in-Cycle generative adversarial network (dubbed CinCGAN) is proposed to jointly estimate the spectral magnitude and phase information stage by stage under unpaired data. In the first stage, we pretrain a magnitude CycleGAN to coarsely estimate the spectral magnitude of clean speech. In the second stage, we incorporate the pretrained CycleGAN with a complex-valued CycleGAN as a cycle-in-cycle structure to simultaneously recover phase information and refine the overall spectrum. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach significantly outperforms previous baselines under non-parallel training. Cycle-consistent generative adversarial networks (CycleGAN) have shown their promising performance for speech enhancement (SE), while one intractable shortcoming of these CycleGAN-based SE systems is that the noise components propagate throughout the cycle and cannot be completely eliminated. Additionally, conventional CycleGAN-based SE systems only estimate the spectral magnitude, while the phase is unaltered. Motivated by the multi-stage learning concept, we propose a novel two-stage denoising system that combines a CycleGAN-based magnitude enhancing network and a subsequent complex spectral refining network in this paper. Specifically, in the first stage, a CycleGAN-based model is responsible for only estimating magnitude, which is subsequently coupled with the original noisy phase to obtain a coarsely enhanced complex spectrum. After that, the second stage is applied to further suppress the residual noise components and estimate the clean phase by a complex spectral mapping network, which is a pure complex-valued network composed of complex 2D convolution/deconvolution and complex temporal-frequency attention blocks. Non-parallel training is a difficult but essential task for DNN-based speech enhancement methods, for the lack of adequate noisy and paired clean speech corpus in many real scenarios. In this paper, we propose a novel adaptive attention-in-attention CycleGAN (AIA-CycleGAN) for non-parallel speech enhancement. In previous CycleGAN-based non-parallel speech enhancement methods, the limited mapping ability of the generator may cause performance degradation and insufficient feature learning. To alleviate this degradation, we propose an integration of adaptive time-frequency attention (ATFA) and adaptive hierarchical attention (AHA) to form an attention-in-attention (AIA) module for more flexible feature learning during the mapping procedure. More specifically, ATFA can capture the long-range temporal-spectral contextual information for more effective feature representations, while AHA can flexibly aggregate different AFTA's intermediate output feature maps by adaptive attention weights depending on the global context. Numerous experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves consistently more superior performance over previous GAN-based and CycleGAN-based methods in non-parallel training. Pure solitons are for the first time distilled from the resonant continuous wave (CW) background in a fiber laser by utilizing nonlinear Fourier transform (NFT). It is identified that the soliton and the resonant CW background have different eigenvalue distributions in the nonlinear frequency domain. Similar to water distillation, we propose the approach of soliton distillation, by making NFT on a steady pulse generated from a fiber laser, then filtering out the eigenvalues of the resonant CW background in the nonlinear frequency domain, and finally recovering the soliton by inverse NFT (INFT). Simulation results verify that the soliton can be distinguished from the resonant CW background in the nonlinear frequency domain and pure solitons can be obtained by INFT.

Elucidating the interaction between magnetic moments and itinerant carriers is an important step to spintronic applications. Here, we investigate magnetic and transport properties in d0 ferromagnetic SiC single crystals prepared by postimplantation pulsed laser annealing. Magnetic moments are contributed by the p states of carbon atoms, but their magnetic circular dichroism is different from that in semi-insulating SiC samples. The anomalous Hall effect and negative magnetoresistance indicate the influence of d0 spin order on free carriers. The ferromagnetism is relatively weak in N-implanted SiC compared with that in Al-implanted SiC after annealing. The results suggest that d0 magnetic moments and itinerant carriers can interact with each other, which will facilitate the development of SiC spintronic devices with d0 ferromagnetism., Comment: 20 pages, 5 figures

We give evidence for intrinsic, defect-induced bulk paramagnetism in SiC by means of $^{13}$C and $^{29}$Si nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The temperature dependence of the internal dipole-field distribution, probed by the spin part of the NMR Knight shift and the spectral linewidth, follows a Curie law and scales very well with the macroscopic DC susceptibility. In order to quantitatively analyze the NMR spectra, a microscopic model based on dipole-dipole interactions was developed. The very good agreement between these simulations and the NMR data establishes a direct relation between the frequency distribution of the spectral intensity and the corresponding real-space volumes of nuclear spins. The presented approach by NMR can be applied to a variety of similar materials and, thus, opens a new avenue for the microscopic exploration and exploitation of diluted bulk magnetism in semiconductors., Comment: 5 pages, 5 figures

For the prototype diluted ferromagnetic semiconductor (Ga,Mn)As, there is a fundamental concern about the electronic states near the Fermi level, i.e., whether the Fermi level resides in a well-separated impurity band derived from Mn doping (impurity-band model) or in the valence band that is already merged with the Mn-derived impurity band (valence-band model). We investigate this question by carefully shifting the Fermi level by means of carrier compensation. We use helium-ion implantation, a standard industry technology, to precisely compensate the hole doping of GaAs-based diluted ferromagnetic semiconductors while keeping the Mn concentration constant. We monitor the change of Curie temperature ($T_C$) and conductivity. For a broad range of samples including (Ga,Mn)As and (Ga,Mn)(As,P) with various Mn and P concentrations, we observe a smooth decrease of $T_C$ with carrier compensation over a wide temperature range while the conduction is changed from metallic to insulating. The existence of $T_C$ below 10\,K is also confirmed in heavily compensated samples. Our experimental results are naturally explained within the valence-band picture., Comment: 14 pages, 10 figures

Defect-induced ferromagnetism has triggered a lot of investigations and controversies. The major issue is that the induced ferromagnetic signal is so weak that it can sufficiently be accounted for by trace contamination. To resolve this issue, we studied the variation of the magnetic properties of SiC after neutron irradiation with fluence covering four orders of magnitude. A large paramagnetic component has been induced and scales up with defect concentration, which can be well accounted for by uncoupled divacancies. However, the ferromagnetic contribution is still weak and only appears in the low fluence range of neutrons or after annealing treatments. First-principles calculations hint towards a mutually exclusive role of the concentration of defects: Defects favor spin polarization at the expense of magnetic interaction. Combining both experimental and first-principles calculation results, the defect-induced ferromagnetism can be understood as a local effect which cannot be scaled up with the volume. We have investigated the variation in the magnetization of highly ordered pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) after neutron irradiation, which introduces defects in the bulk sample and consequently gives rise to a large magnetic signal. We observe strong paramagnetism in HOPG, increasing with the neutron fluence. We correlate the induced paramagnetism with structural defects by comparison with density-functional theory calculations. In addition to the in-plane vacancies, the trans-planar defects also contribute to the magnetization. The lack of any magnetic order between the local moments is possibly due to the absence of hydrogen/nitrogen chemisorption, or the magnetic order cannot be established at all in the bulk form., Comment: 10 pages, 8 figures
